Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a storage device for a vehicle, which provides a storage space for accommodating luggage inside a luggage compartment and enables a luggage box to be removed from the luggage compartment for use outside the vehicle. Background Art
[0002] Vehicles are generally provided with a luggage compartment, which is used as a space for accommodating objects. The luggage compartment is provided at the rear side of the vehicle and is implemented in various ways depending on the type of vehicle. Considering design trends and user convenience, the inner space of the trunk may be designed to be larger.
[0003] Since vehicles always carry objects, such as cleaning items and safety products required for vehicle maintenance, the recent trend is to provide additional space required to accommodate smaller sized objects individually. In recent years, in order to ensure additional storage space in the luggage compartment, the unused space at the lateral sides of the luggage compartment has begun to be utilized.
[0004] In order to utilize these useless spaces, a conventional solution is to simply provide a luggage compartment having a tray body and a partition wall (such as a mesh wall) to prevent luggage from being removed from the luggage compartment. Therefore, the useless space is not effectively utilized. In addition, since the luggage box is fixedly disposed in the luggage compartment, the luggage box cannot be used outside the vehicle.
[0005] In other words, when some luggage in the luggage compartment needs to be moved to the outside, the luggage must be individually taken out of the luggage compartment and moved to the outside, which is inconvenient.
[0006] The information disclosed in this Background section is only for enhancement of understanding of the general background of the disclosure and should not be considered as an acknowledgement or any form of suggestion that this information forms the prior art already known to a person of ordinary skill in the art. [0027] The above and other objects, features and other advantages of the present disclosure will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
[0028] Figure 1 and Figure 2 is a view showing a storage device for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; and
[0029] Figures 3 to 13 It shows that Figure 1 A view of a storage device for a vehicle is shown in FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0030] Hereinafter, a storage device for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0031] Figure 1 and Figure 2 is a view showing a storage device for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Figures 3 to 13 It shows that Figure 1 A view of a storage device for a vehicle is shown in FIG.
[0032] As in Figures 1 to 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , the storage device for a vehicle according to the present disclosure includes a luggage housing 100. The luggage housing 100 defines a storage space S1 at a lateral side of a luggage compartment and has an open surface 100a, as shown in FIG. Figure 8 and Fig.10, the open surface is open toward the luggage compartment. The luggage housing 100 has a luggage box 200, which is configured to be removably received in the storage space S1 of the luggage housing 100 and has an internal space S2. The luggage housing 100 has a guide unit 300, which is suitable for sliding from the luggage housing 100 toward the open surface 100a and then tilting to a predetermined tilt angle, and the luggage box 200 is removably mounted to the guide unit. The luggage box 200 may have a hook or a push-up coupling structure that enables the luggage box 200 to be locked to the luggage housing 100 or released from the luggage housing. The locking structure L provided at the luggage housing 100 and the luggage box 200 may be any locking structure commonly used in the art.
[0033] In this way, the storage device according to the present disclosure includes: a luggage housing 100, which is provided at a lateral side of a luggage compartment; and a luggage box 200, which is configured to be received in the luggage housing 100 and taken out from the luggage housing by means of a guide unit 300. Here, the luggage box 200 is configured to rotate during withdrawal from the luggage housing 100. The luggage housing 100 may be formed integrally with the lateral side of the luggage compartment. The luggage housing 100 may be fixedly fixed to the luggage compartment and may define a storage space S1 for receiving luggage therein. The luggage box 200 may be configured to correspond to the shape of the storage space S1 of the luggage housing 100 to be received in the storage space S1. When the luggage box 200 is received in the luggage housing 100, the internal space S2 of the luggage box 200 is configured to receive the luggage instead of the storage space S1 in the luggage housing 100.
[0034] In particular, the luggage box 200 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may be removably mounted on the guide unit 300. The guide unit 300 is configured to slide toward the open surface 100a of the luggage case 100 and then tilt to a predetermined angle. Therefore, when the luggage box 200 is taken out of the luggage case 100, the luggage box 200 may be drawn toward the open surface 100a of the luggage case 100 and may be tilted so as to allow the luggage to be easily received in the internal space S2 of the luggage box 200. In addition, when the luggage box 200 is drawn outward, the luggage box 200 may be removed from the guide unit 300 so as to be used also outside the vehicle.
[0035] In this way, the storage device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure enables the luggage box 200 to be withdrawn outward from the luggage housing 100 in the luggage compartment to allow the luggage to be received in the internal space S2 in the luggage box 200. In addition, since the luggage housing 100 from which the luggage box 200 has been removed can receive the luggage in the storage space S1, the usability of the storage space S1 is improved.
[0036] More specifically, as in Figure 4 and Figure 5 As shown in FIG. 1 , the luggage case 100 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure may include guide rails 120 provided at the front surface and the rear surface located at both lateral sides of the open surface 100a and extending toward the open surface 100a. The guide unit 300 is slidably mounted on the guide rails 120. Here, the front surface and the rear surface of the luggage case 100 are not set based on the front-rear direction of the vehicle and may be two lateral side surfaces of the luggage case 100 based on the open surface 100a.
[0037] Thus, since the guide rails 120 are provided at the front and rear surfaces of the luggage case 100 to extend toward the open surface 100a and the guide unit 300 is movable along the guide rails 120, the luggage box 200 mounted on the guide unit 300 can be taken out from the open surface 100a of the luggage case 100 or received therein.
[0038] The guide rail 120 may be configured to extend linearly from the interior of the luggage housing 100 toward the open surface 100a and may be bent downward at its outer end. Figure 4 and Figure 5 As shown in FIG, since the outer end of the guide rail 120 is bent downward, the guide unit 300 is inclined along the bent portion of the guide rail 120, thereby allowing the luggage box 200 mounted on the guide unit 300 to be completely taken out of the luggage case 100. Therefore, the internal space S2 in the luggage box 200 can be completely exposed from the luggage case 100 and can be smoothly separated from the guide unit 300 without interfering with the luggage case 100.
[0039] The guide unit 300 is described in detail below and is adapted to allow the luggage box 200 to be withdrawn. Figure 2 , Figure 4 and Figure 6 As shown in FIG. 1 , each guide unit 300 may include: a mounting unit 320 that moves along the guide rail 120 on the inner surface of the luggage housing 100 and to which the luggage box 200 is removably mounted; and a driving unit 340 that is disposed at an outer surface of the luggage housing 100 to be coupled to the mounting unit 320 and that is elastically movable along the guide rail 120 toward the open surface 100 a.
[0040] In this way, each guide unit 300 includes a mounting unit 320 and a driving unit 340. The mounting unit 320 and the driving unit 340 are coupled to each other and move along the guide rail 120. The luggage box 200 is removably mounted on the mounting unit 320. Since the driving unit 340 is mounted on the luggage housing 100 and elastically moves along the guide rail 120, the luggage box 200 can be moved along the guide rail 120 together with the mounting unit 320 by means of the driving unit 340.
[0041] As in Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown in FIG. 1 , the luggage box 200 may be provided with mounting protrusions 220 on the front and rear surfaces thereof. The mounting unit 320 may extend vertically and may have a mounting groove 321 that extends longitudinally to receive the mounting protrusion 220 therein. Therefore, the luggage box 200 may be mounted on the mounting unit 320 by inserting the mounting protrusion 220 into the mounting groove 321 in the mounting unit 320. Since the mounting groove 321 in the mounting unit 320 is configured to extend vertically, the luggage box 200 may be mounted on the mounting unit 320 by moving downward and may be separated from the mounting unit 320 by moving upward.
[0042] When the luggage box 200 is inserted into the luggage housing 100, the mounting protrusion 220 of the luggage box 200 is positioned at the inner side of the luggage housing 100. Therefore, when the mounting unit 320 moves into the luggage housing 100 together with the driving unit 340, the luggage box 200 can be completely inserted into the storage space S1 in the luggage housing 100.
[0043] As in Figure 4 , Figure 5 and Figure 6 , the guide rail 120 may include a plurality of guide rails arranged vertically. The mounting unit 320 may include: a guide portion 322 installed in one guide rail 120 and moving along it; and an extension portion 323 coupled to the drive unit 340 through another guide rail 120. This enables the mounting unit 320 to reliably move along the guide rail 120 toward the open surface 100a and tilt downward to rotate with the luggage box 200. Specifically, the guide portion 322 of the mounting unit 320 moves along one guide rail 120. The extension portion 323 of the mounting unit 320 is coupled to the drive unit 340, thereby allowing the drive unit 340 to move along the guide rail 120 together with the mounting unit 320.
[0044] More specifically, among the plurality of guide rails 120, the uppermost guide rail 120 may be formed to have the longest length. The lower guide rail 120 may have a length shorter than the upper adjacent guide rail 120. In other words, when the mounting unit 320 moves along the guide rail 120 toward the open surface 100a, the movement of the mounting unit 320 may be restricted due to contact with the outer end of the guide rail 120. Since the lowermost guide rail 120 among the plurality of guide rails 120 has the shortest length, the lower end of the mounting unit 320 first contacts the outer end of the guide rail 120. Therefore, the lower end of the mounting unit 320 serves as a rotation center. The upper end of the mounting unit 320 further moves along the rest of the uppermost guide rail 120 and rotates downward.
[0045] Specifically, as in Figure 5 and Figure 6 , the guide rail 120 may include a first guide hole 121 positioned at the uppermost level, a second guide hole 122 positioned at the middle position, and a third guide hole 123 positioned at the lowermost level, all of which are spaced apart from each other. The guide portion 322 of the mounting unit 320 may be mounted in the second guide hole 122. The extension portion 323 may include two extension portions, which are coupled to the driving unit 340 through the first guide hole 121 and the third guide hole 123, respectively.
[0046] The guide portion 322 may be rotatably mounted on the mounting unit 320 and may be provided with a threaded portion 322a therearound. The second guide hole 122 in which the guide portion 322 is mounted may be provided with a rack 120a corresponding to the threaded portion 322a, so that the guide portion 322 can reliably move in a state of being threadedly engaged with the rack 120a of the second guide hole 122.
[0047] Therefore, when the mounting unit 320 of the guide unit 300 moves toward the open surface 100a along the guide rail 120, the guide portion 322 of the mounting unit 320 moves along the second guide hole 122, and the extension portions 323 positioned above and below the guide portion 322 move along the first guide hole 121 and the third guide hole 123, respectively. Since the guide portion 322 is threadedly engaged with the second guide hole 122, the guide portion 322 reliably moves in the longitudinal direction of the second guide hole 122. In addition, since the extension portion 323 of the mounting unit 320 is coupled to the driving unit 340 through the first guide hole 121 and the third guide hole 123, respectively, the driving unit 340 can move together with the mounting unit 320. When the mounting unit 320 moves toward the open surface 100a along the guide rail 120, the lowermost extension portion 323 of the mounting unit 320 contacts the third guide hole 123 having the shortest length. Therefore, the mounting unit 320 can rotate around the lower extension portion 323. Therefore, the guide portion 322 and the upper extension portion 323 further move the excess length of the first guide hole 121 and the second guide hole 122 , which causes the mounting unit 320 to rotate.
[0048] Therefore, since the luggage box 200 mounted on the mounting unit 320 can be drawn out from the luggage housing 100 and then tilted, the luggage box 200 can be completely taken out of the luggage housing 100 .
[0049] As in Figure 4 , Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown in FIG. 1 , the driving unit 340 may include a movable portion 341 positioned on the outer surface of the luggage housing 100 to which the mounting unit 320 is coupled, and an elastic portion 342 fixed to the luggage housing 100 and connected to the movable portion 341 to provide an elastic force to move the movable portion 341 toward the open surface 100a. The movable portion 341 may extend vertically so as to allow a plurality of extension portions 323 of the mounting unit 320 to be coupled thereto. Since the movable portion 341 moves toward the open surface 100a by means of the elastic force of the elastic portion 341 fixed to the luggage housing 100, the luggage box 200 may move toward the open surface 100a together with the mounting unit 320 coupled to the movable portion 341.
[0050] The elastic part 342 may be implemented as a coil spring fixed to the luggage housing 100 adjacent to the open surface 100a. The movable part 341 extending vertically may be provided with a mounting unit 320 coupled to its inner surface and may be provided with a coupling part 341a on its outer surface, to which the coil spring is connected. The elastic part 342 implemented as a coil spring may provide elastic force to the movable part 341 and may be implemented as any of various spring types, such as a coil spring. However, in order to guide the reliable linear movement of the movable part 341, a coil spring is applied. Since the elastic part 342 is installed on the outer surface of the luggage housing 100, the movable part 341 is provided with a coupling part 341a on its outer surface so that the elastic part 342 implemented as a coil spring is connected to the coupling part 341a. Therefore, the movable part 341 may be linearly moved along the guide rail 120 by means of the elastic force of the elastic part 342.
[0051] The storage device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure provides an additional storage space S1 when the luggage box 200 is removed from the luggage housing 100. Hereinafter, various embodiments of providing the storage space S1 are described.
[0052] In the first embodiment of providing the storage space S1, the luggage housing 100 may further include a detachable cover 140 that is removably mounted on the guide unit 300 to shield a portion of the open surface 100a after the luggage box 200 is removed from the luggage housing 100, as shown in FIG. Figure 7 As shown in .
[0053] Since the storage device according to the present disclosure is configured such that the luggage box 200 is separated from the luggage housing 100, the interior of the luggage housing 100 becomes empty after the luggage box 200 is separated from the luggage housing 100. In order to use the empty space as the storage space S1, the detachable cover 140 is mounted to the open surface 100a to accommodate the luggage in the storage space S1 in the luggage housing 100.
[0054] The detachable cover 140 may be constructed separately and may be composed of a net or a plastic material. The detachable cover 140 may be provided with a first coupling member 141 at its upper end, which is detachably coupled to the guide unit 300, and the detachable cover may be provided with a second coupling member 142 at its lower end, which is detachably coupled to the lower portion of the luggage housing 100. Therefore, the detachable cover 140 may be mounted on the open surface 100a of the luggage housing 10. The first coupling member 141 may be configured to have a T-shaped cross section to vertically fit into the mounting groove 321 in the guide unit 300 and may be securely coupled to the upper end of the inner surface of the detachable cover 140. The second coupling member 142 may be configured to have a hook structure to be mounted to the lower portion of the luggage housing 100. A hook coupling hole may be formed in the lower portion of the luggage housing 100 to be coupled to the second coupling member 142.
[0055] Therefore, after the luggage box 200 is removed from the luggage case 100, the detachable cover 140 is arranged at the open surface 100a of the luggage case 100. Then, the first coupling member 141 is coupled to the guide unit 300, which has been moved to the open surface 100a. The second coupling member 142 is coupled to the lower portion of the luggage case 100. Therefore, the detachable cover 140 is maintained at the open surface 100a, thereby defining the storage space S1 in the luggage case 100.
[0056] In the second embodiment, as in Figure 8 and Fig. 9 As shown in FIG. 1 , the luggage housing 100 may include a rotatable cover 150 that is positioned at the open surface 100a and rotatably coupled to the bottom surface of the luggage housing 100 to cover a portion of the open surface 100a. The rotatable cover 150 may be provided with a torsion spring 151 at the rotation center thereof to provide the rotatable cover 150 with the elastic force required for closing the open surface 100a.
[0057] The rotatable cover 150 is generally folded and arranged on the bottom surface of the luggage case 100. When the luggage box 200 is removed from the luggage case 100, the rotatable cover 150 rotates upward to cover a portion of the open surface 100a of the luggage case 100. Since the rotation center of the rotatable cover 150 is provided with a torsion spring 151, when the luggage box 200 is removed from the luggage case 100, the rotatable cover 150 automatically rotates toward the open surface 100a by means of the elastic force of the torsion spring 151.
[0058] In addition, since the rotatable cover 150 may be provided with the stopper 152 at its lower end (serving as the rotation center), when the rotatable cover 150 is rotated to a predetermined angle toward the open surface 100a, the stopper 152 contacts the luggage housing 100, thereby stopping the rotational movement of the rotatable cover 150. Therefore, when the rotatable cover 150 is rotated toward the open surface 100a, the stopper 152 contacts the luggage housing 100, thereby maintaining the rotatable cover 150 in a state in which the open surface 100a is closed.
[0059] In the third embodiment, as in Fig.10 and Fig.11 As shown in FIG. 1 , the luggage case 100 may further include rotatable walls 160, which are respectively provided at the front and rear surfaces of the luggage case 100 located at both lateral sides of the open surface 100a. The rotatable walls 160 may be rotated from the front and rear surfaces toward the open surface 100a so as to shield the open surface 100a.
[0060] The rotatable wall 160 is generally folded and arranged on the front and rear surfaces of the luggage case 100. When the luggage box 200 is removed from the luggage case 100, the rotatable wall 160 is rotated toward the open surface 100a to cover a portion of the open surface 100a of the luggage case 100. The rotatable wall 160 may also be provided with additional springs to rotate toward the open surface 100a by means of the elastic force of these springs, thereby improving the convenience of use.
[0061] The rotatable wall 160 may include a plurality of rotatable walls respectively disposed at the front surface and the rear surface of the luggage housing 100. Specifically, the rotatable wall 160 may include: a front rotatable wall 161, the rotation center of which is located at the front surface of the luggage housing 100; and a rear rotatable wall 162, the rotation center of which is located at the rear surface of the luggage housing 100. Therefore, when the luggage box 200 is removed, the front rotatable wall 161 and the rear rotatable wall 162 block a portion of the open surface 100a of the luggage housing 100. In particular, the front rotatable wall 161 and the rear rotatable wall 162 are configured so that the ends thereof facing each other overlap each other when the front rotatable wall 161 and the rear rotatable wall 162 are unfolded toward the open surface 100a. In addition, the ends of the front rotatable wall 161 and the rear rotatable wall 162 that overlap each other may include magnetic members 163 having different polarities embedded therein. Therefore, the overlapping ends of the front rotatable wall 161 and the rear rotatable wall 162 are coupled to each other by means of the attractive force between the magnetic members 163, thereby stably maintaining the front rotatable wall and the rear rotatable wall in the deployed state.
[0062] As in Fig.12As shown in FIG. 1 , the luggage housing 100 may further include a vertical protrusion 281 or a horizontal protrusion 282 provided on an inner surface thereof and a partition 240 supported by the vertical protrusion 281 or placed on the horizontal protrusion 282 .
[0063] As in Fig.12 As shown in FIG. 1 , the luggage housing 100 may be provided with a vertical protrusion 281 and a horizontal protrusion 282 on its inner surface. The partition 240 may be supported by the vertical protrusion 281 or the horizontal protrusion 282 to divide the storage space S1 of the luggage housing 100 into a plurality of compartments. When the partition 240 is fitted between the vertical protrusions 281 and is held to the vertical protrusions, the storage space S1 in the luggage housing 100 is divided in the front-rear direction. When the partition 240 is placed on the horizontal protrusion 282, the storage space S1 in the luggage housing 100 is divided in the vertical direction. In this way, the storage space S1 in the luggage housing 100 may be divided in various ways depending on the arrangement of the partition 240, thereby accommodating luggage of various sizes in an isolated state.
[0064] As in Fig.13 As shown in FIG. 1 , the luggage box 200 may include a carrier box 400 that is removably inserted into the internal space S2 in the luggage box 200. The luggage box 200 may be provided with a pusher 230 on its inner lower surface for elastically supporting the carrier box 400 upward through its pushing operation.
[0065] In this way, the carrying box 400 may be removably disposed in the internal space S2 in the luggage box 200. Therefore, when the carrying box 400 is inserted into the internal space S2 in the luggage box 200, the carrying box 400 provides a space for accommodating luggage. When the carrying box 400 is removed from the luggage box 200, the luggage box 200 and the carrying box 400 may provide corresponding storage spaces for accommodating luggage.
[0066] The luggage box 200 may be provided with a pusher 230 on its lower surface, which elastically supports the carrying box 400 upward by its pushing operation. Each pusher 230 (including a spring therein) can be moved along a path defined by the heart-shaped cam by the pushing operation to allow the elastic force of the spring to be selectively applied to the pusher. When the carrying box 400 is pushed downward after the luggage box 200 is taken out of the luggage housing 100, the carrying box 400 can be lifted upward in the luggage box 200 by means of the elastic force caused by the pushing operation. When the carrying box 400 is lifted upward in the luggage box 200 like this, the user can more conveniently remove the carrying box 400 from the luggage box 200, thereby improving the convenience of use.
[0067] As is apparent from the above description, the storage device for a vehicle according to the present disclosure enables the luggage box 200 to be separated from the luggage compartment in the vehicle and also used outside the vehicle, thereby improving the convenience of use. In addition, even when the luggage box 200 is separated from the luggage compartment, the internal space in the luggage compartment is used as the storage space S1, thereby improving the usability of the space.
[0068] Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the disclosure as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
