[0043] The present disclosure provides a combustion device, such as Figures 1 to 4As shown, the combustion device comprises: a body 2; a piston 1 installed in the body 2; a cylinder head 3 installed at the opening position of the body 2, wherein the body 2, the piston 1 and the cylinder head 3 define a first combustion chamber 4; a first combustion part for injecting fuel into the first combustion chamber 4 is provided in the middle of the cylinder head 3, and a second combustion part for forming a jet flame and igniting the fuel in the first combustion chamber 4 is also provided in the cylinder head 3. The first combustion part is connected to the ammonia fuel source, and the ammonia fuel is used as fuel; the second combustion part is connected to the hydrogen fuel source and the ammonia fuel source, and the hydrogen fuel and the ammonia fuel are used as fuel, and the ammonia fuel in the first combustion chamber 4 is burned in a diffusion combustion manner.
[0044] In detail, the fuel used in the second combustion part is mainly hydrogen fuel, and the proportion of hydrogen fuel is preferably such that the ammonia fuel introduced into the second combustion part can be more effectively ignited.
[0045] Furthermore, ammonia fuel can form hydrogen fuel under catalysis, and thus, hydrogen fuel can be produced from an ammonia fuel source. It should be understood that the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited thereto.
[0046] For example, the hydrogen fuel source and the ammonia fuel source can be connected separately, and then the ratio of the hydrogen fuel and the ammonia fuel input into the second combustion part can be adjusted by a regulating device such as a gas valve.
[0047] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the combustion device further includes an intake passage 12 formed on the cylinder head 3, and an exhaust pipe 15 symmetrically arranged on the cylinder head 3 with the intake passage 12. An intake valve 13 is installed in the intake passage 12 so as to be openable and closable, and an exhaust valve 14 is installed in the exhaust pipe 15 so as to be openable and closable.
[0048] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, in the radial plane of the cylinder head 3, the line formed by the first combustion part and the second combustion part is perpendicular to the line formed by the intake passage 12 and the exhaust pipe 15, so that the second combustion part is offset relative to the first combustion part.
[0049] According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, Figure 3 As shown, the first combustion part includes a first injector 6 disposed in the middle of the cylinder head 3 and extending into the first combustion chamber 4 along the axial direction of the cylinder head 3. The end of the first injector 6 located in the first combustion chamber 4 is provided with a spray hole 5 along the circumferential direction.
[0050] In detail, the number of the spray holes 5 is six, and the six spray holes 5 are evenly spaced along the circumferential direction.
[0051] In detail, the first injector 6 is fixed on the end cover through the injector end cover 7 .
[0052] Furthermore, the number of the spray holes 5 can be designed according to the actual fuel injection requirements and flow rate. It should be understood that the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited thereto.
[0053] For example, the number of the injection holes 5 is six or more or less than six.
[0054] Furthermore, the position of the nozzle hole 5 can also be designed according to the type of fuel and the relative position with the second combustion part.
[0055] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a groove is formed on the surface of the piston 1 facing the cylinder head 3, and the surface of the groove is smoothly arranged, and the fuel injected from the spray hole 5 of the first injector forms a vortex through the surface of the groove.
[0056] Specifically, a groove is formed on the same side surface of the piston and the cylinder cover, and the bottom of the groove is smoothly set with a rounded transition.
[0057] Further, a protrusion is formed between the middle of the groove and the position of the positive projection of the first combustion part, and the protrusion is formed integrally with the groove bottom of the groove. After the fuel is injected into the groove, it is blocked by the groove bottom of the groove and extends radially outward along the groove bottom to form a vortex. It should be understood that the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to this.
[0058] For example, the shape of the groove should be designed according to the position of the first combustion part and the position of the injection hole 5 formed by the first injector 6.
[0059] Furthermore, since the piston 1 moves along the body 2 , the shape of the groove should also be designed according to the position of the piston 1 relative to the body 2 .
[0060] For example, the shape of the groove should satisfy the design purpose of what kind of vortex the fuel injected by the first injector 6 can form in the groove when the piston 1 moves upward to a certain position.
[0061] According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the second combustion section includes a second combustion chamber 8 formed in the cylinder head 3, a second injector 10 and a spark plug 9 are arranged in the second combustion chamber 8, and a jet hole 11 is also arranged on the surface of the cylinder head 3 opposite to the piston 1, and the jet hole 11 is used to connect the second combustion chamber and the first combustion chamber so that the fuel burning in the second combustion chamber 8 forms a jet flame.
[0062] In detail, the lower end of the second combustion chamber 8 is located inside the first combustion chamber 4 .
[0063] Furthermore, the second combustion chamber 8 is an offset second combustion chamber relative to the first combustion chamber 4 .
[0064] Furthermore, among the multiple jet holes 11 formed by the second combustion chamber 8, each jet hole 11 can be individually designed according to actual needs. For example, the position, number and parameters (including but not limited to angle, aperture and length) of the jet hole 11 can be designed to ensure that the second combustion chamber 8 can form a jet flame and the jet flame can more effectively ignite the fuel in the first combustion chamber 4.
[0065] For example, the number of the jet holes 11 is the same as the number of the nozzle holes 5 of the first burner 6. Furthermore, the jet flame formed by the jet holes 11 and the path of the fuel sprayed from the nozzle holes 5 partially overlap.
[0066] For example, the downward inclination angle of the jet hole 11 close to the first fuel injector 6 is smaller than that of the jet hole 11 on the other side, so that the jet flames ejected from both sides can contact with the corresponding fuel beam and effectively ignite, so as to enhance the ignition effect of the flame jet on the fuel in the first combustion chamber 4. It should be understood that the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to this.
[0067] For example, the number of jet holes 11 and the number of nozzle holes 5 are inconsistent.
[0068] For example, the angles and positions of the jet holes 11 are consistent.
[0069] For example, the speed of the fuel sprayed from the jet hole 11 can be controlled through the overall design of the length, aperture and angle of the jet hole 11 .
[0070] According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a combustion system is provided, including a combustion device and a gas reforming device.
[0071] In detail, the combustion device uses ammonia fuel and hydrogen fuel as fuel in the first combustion chamber 4 and the second combustion chamber 8 respectively.
[0072] Furthermore, the fuel in the second combustion chamber 8 is not necessarily single. For example, ammonia fuel and hydrogen fuel may be mixed, or include other fuels and inevitable impurities or gases.
[0073] Furthermore, in order to facilitate the ignition and combustion of the fuel in the second combustion chamber 8, the proportion of hydrogen fuel in the mixed fuel in the second combustion chamber 8 can be increased. On the premise that the combustion conditions in the second combustion chamber 8 are met, even a single hydrogen fuel (containing inevitable impurities) can be ignited in the second combustion chamber 8.
[0074] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a gas reforming device, such as Figure 5As shown, it includes: an ammonia fuel storage tank 16, a reformer 17 and a separator 18. The ammonia fuel storage tank 16 is used to output ammonia fuel, the separator 18 is used to output hydrogen fuel, and the reformer 17 is arranged between the ammonia fuel storage tank 16 and the separator 18 to convert at least a part of the ammonia fuel into hydrogen fuel.
[0075] In detail, the ammonia fuel is stored in the ammonia fuel storage tank 16, and the ammonia fuel stored in the ammonia fuel storage tank 16 is used as an ammonia fuel source and a hydrogen fuel source respectively.
[0076] Further, the ammonia fuel outputted from the ammonia fuel storage tank 16 is respectively connected to the combustion device and the reformer 17, the ammonia fuel introduced into the combustion device is connected to the first combustion chamber 4, and the ammonia fuel introduced into the reformer 17 is catalytically reacted to form a mixed gas containing ammonia fuel and hydrogen fuel, which is introduced into the separator to separate the hydrogen fuel or adjust the ratio of the hydrogen fuel to the ammonia fuel. It should be understood that the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited thereto.
[0077] For example, in addition to the ammonia fuel storage tank 16, other containers storing hydrogen fuel may be configured to serve as a hydrogen fuel source or to adjust the ratio of hydrogen fuel to ammonia fuel. It is preferred that the mixed gas in the second combustion chamber 8 can be ignited and form a jet flame.
[0078] Furthermore, the gas reloading device may also be provided with a detection device capable of detecting or outputting the ratio of hydrogen fuel and ammonia fuel.
[0079] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the discharge end of the separator 18 is connected to the second injector 10, and the discharge end of the ammonia fuel storage tank 16 is connected to the first injector 6, so as to output fuel to the combustion device.
[0080] In detail, the fuel introduced into the second injector 10 contains at least a portion of hydrogen fuel, and the fuel introduced into the first injector 6 contains at least a portion of ammonia fuel. The hydrogen fuel can be ignited to form a jet flame, and the ammonia fuel can form a fuel mist beam in the first combustion chamber 4.
[0081] The fuel mist does not limit the form of the fuel. The fuel can be in a gaseous or supercritical fluid state in addition to a liquid.
[0082] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the exhaust pipe 15 of the combustion device is connected to the reformer 17 so as to assist the reformer 17 in heating the exhaust gas output by the combustion device.
[0083] In detail, the connection method between the exhaust pipe 15 and the reformer 17 includes but is not limited to direct connection.
[0084] For example, the exhaust gas output from the exhaust pipe 15 can be collected in a certain device, and then the device and the reformer 17 are connected.
[0085] Furthermore, the reformer 17 as a mechanism for generating the catalytic reaction may also introduce other heat sources to use the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust pipe 15 as an auxiliary heating device to prevent the heat of the exhaust gas from being insufficient to meet the temperature requirement of the catalytic reaction.
[0086] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, in addition to the above-mentioned combustion device and gas reforming device, the above-mentioned combustion system may also be designed with other devices for detecting and controlling the state of the combustion system.
[0087] In detail, it includes a monitoring unit and a control unit, wherein the monitoring unit is suitable for monitoring the position of the piston 1; and the control unit is suitable for controlling the injection time of the first injector 6 and / or the second injector 10, the opening and closing of the intake valve 13 and / or the exhaust valve 14, and the ignition timing of the spark plug 9 according to the position of the piston 1.
[0088] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, based on the above combustion system, a corresponding combustion control method is also derived, including monitoring the position of the piston 1 of the combustion system; and controlling the ignition timing of the spark plug 9 according to the position of the piston 1.
[0089] Specifically, monitoring the position of the piston 1 of the combustion system includes obtaining the position of the piston 1 according to the crankshaft rotation angle of the crankshaft linked to the piston 1 in one working cycle of the piston.
[0090] Furthermore, the ignition timing of the spark plug 9 is controlled according to the position of the piston 1, including in one working cycle of the piston, when the piston 1 is approaching the top dead center, the injector 10 injects fuel, and then the spark plug 9 ignites, and based on the ignition timing of the spark plug 9, the first injector 6 is controlled to inject fuel into the first combustion chamber 4, so as to realize the effective ignition of the fuel injected by the first injector by the jet flame.
[0091] In detail, the piston 1 first moves downward from the top dead center, at which time the intake valve 13 is open and the exhaust valve 14 is closed, and fresh air enters the first combustion chamber 4 and the second combustion chamber 8 through the intake duct; when the piston passes the bottom dead center, the intake valve 13 is closed, and the piston 1 moves upward to compress the air in the cylinder, causing its temperature and pressure to increase continuously, and at the same time the injector starts to inject hydrogen fuel, and the injected hydrogen fuel mixes with the air in the second combustion chamber 8 to form a uniform mixture; when the piston moves close to the top dead center, the spark plug ignites and ignites the combustible mixture in the second combustion chamber 8, and the fuel combustion releases heat, causing the temperature and pressure in the second combustion chamber 8 to increase sharply, so the second combustion chamber 8 and the first combustion chamber 4 will gradually increase. Under the action of the pressure difference, the combustion flame in the second combustion chamber 8 will be ejected from the jet hole 11 to form a jet flame; at the same time, the first injector 6 also starts to spray ammonia fuel. Due to the higher injection pressure, the fuel spray will be sprayed to the edge of the first combustion chamber 4, so that the jet flame can ignite the combustible mixture at the end of the spray; after the combustible mixture at the end of the spray in the first combustion chamber 4 is ignited, a diffusion combustion flame is formed, and the fuel combustion releases a large amount of heat, which pushes the piston 1 to move downward and outputs mechanical work; when the piston 1 moves to near the bottom dead center, the exhaust valve 14 opens, and the piston 1 moves upward to discharge the exhaust gas in the combustion chamber, completing the entire working process.
[0092] According to the combustion device and combustion system provided by the present disclosure, 1. The jet flame generated by the combustion of hydrogen fuel in the second combustion chamber ignites the ammonia fuel beam in the first combustion chamber, so that the ammonia fuel can achieve diffusion combustion, and the diffusion combustion has a higher efficiency. Therefore, the combustion system and engine provided by the present disclosure have higher combustion efficiency and thermal efficiency. 2. The heat of the exhaust gas generated by the combustion system is used as a heat source to assist the reformer in heating to produce hydrogen fuel. There is no need to store hydrogen fuel, which can effectively reduce the safety problems caused by storing hydrogen fuel. 3. The ignition effect of the jet flame can significantly improve the ignition and combustion stability of ammonia fuel under low load conditions. 4. The amount of fuel entering the first combustion chamber and / or the second combustion chamber can be adjusted according to the real-time change of the load to effectively improve the stable combustion of the combustion system under all working conditions. In addition, the fuel in the second combustion chamber is increased under low load conditions, the ignition effect of the jet flame is enhanced, and the stability of combustion is effectively improved. Under high load conditions, the fuel injection strategy is optimized to effectively prevent the combustion from being too rough.
[0093] The embodiments of the present disclosure are described above. However, these embodiments are only for illustrative purposes and are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure. Although the embodiments are described above separately, this does not mean that the measures in the various embodiments cannot be used in combination to advantage. The scope of the present disclosure is defined by the attached claims and their equivalents. Without departing from the scope of the present disclosure, those skilled in the art may make a variety of substitutions and modifications, which should all fall within the scope of the present disclosure.
