[0005] Patent Literature 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2019-181764 SUMMARY

[0006] PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION

[0007] The printing device of the above-described conventional technology can be subjected to a load to the platen roller due to an impact of a fall in a state in which the cover is closed. In this case, since the platen roller holder and the cover are directly fixed, the impact of the fall is not dispersed and the screw fastening portion or the like of the platen roller holder can be broken. This can also occur when an impact is applied due to a collision with an object or the like in addition to a fall.

[0008] An object of the present application is to provide a printing device that can prevent breakage when a large impact is applied due to a fall or the like of the printing device.

[0040] Figures 8-9 <3. Effects of the Embodiment>

[0041] The printing device 1 of the above-described embodiment is provided with the thermal head 19, the main body portion 3, the opening and closing cover 5, the sensor holder 37, and the platen roller holder 35. The platen roller holder 35 rotatably supports the platen rollers 23 that convey the tape at positions opposite the thermal head 19 when the opening and closing cover 5 is in the closed position. The opening and closing cover 5 opens and closes the housing portion 11 in which the tape is housed. The sensor holder 37 is fixed with respect to the opening and closing cover 5, and the platen roller holder 35 is fixed with respect to the sensor holder 37.

[0042] According to the present embodiment, the platen roller holder 35 is not directly fixed to the opening and closing cover 5, but is fixed to the opening and closing cover 5 via the sensor holder 37. For example, when a large impact is applied to the platen rollers 23 in the case of the printing device 1 falling by mistake or the like, the impact is not transmitted directly from the platen roller holder 35 to the opening and closing cover 5, but is transmitted from the platen roller holder 35 to the opening and closing cover 5 via the sensor holder 37. According to the present embodiment, by the respective deformations of the platen roller holder 35, the sensor holder 37, and the like, it is possible to disperse the impact of the fall applied to the platen rollers 23, and it is possible to prevent breakage.

[0043]

[0044] Further, in the present embodiment, in particular, the sensor holder 37 has a base portion 45 and a receiving portion 47. The receiving portion 47 is provided at a position farther from the support shaft 31 than the base portion 45. Thus, in the sensor holder 37, a certain degree of distance is created between the receiving portion 47 and the base portion 45. According to the present embodiment, when an impact transmitted from the impression roller holder 35 to the receiving portion 47 is transmitted to the shutter 5 via the base portion 45 as described above, the sensor holder 37 itself can be deformed to some extent by the above distance, and the falling impact is easily dispersed.

[0045] Further, in the present embodiment, in particular, the impression roller holder 35 has a mounting portion 53. The impression roller holder 35 is fixedly installed at the mounting portion 53 with respect to the receiving portion 47 of the sensor holder 37. The support position of the impression roller 23 in the impression roller holder 35 is provided at a position farther from the support shaft 31 than the mounting portion 53. Thus, in the impression roller holder 35, a certain degree of distance is created between the above support position and the mounting portion 53. According to the present embodiment, when an impact applied to the impression roller 23 is received at the above support position of the impression roller holder 35 and transmitted to the receiving portion 47 of the sensor holder 37 via the mounting portion 53 as described above, the impression roller holder 35 itself can be deformed to some extent by the above distance, and the falling impact is easily dispersed.

[0046] Further, in the present embodiment, in particular, the base portions 45 of the sensor holders 37 provided on both sides in the left-right direction are located at positions farther from the both end portions of the impression roller 23 in the left-right direction than positions PI, P2. According to the present embodiment, compared with a case where the left-right direction positions of the both end portions of the impression roller 23 and the base portions 45 are the same as each other, it is possible to lengthen a path when an impact applied to the impression roller 23 is transmitted to the shutter 5 via the sensor holders 37, and it is possible to disperse the falling impact.

[0047] Further, in the present embodiment, in particular, the first receiving portions 47A and the second receiving portions 47B of the sensor holders 37 provided on both sides in the left-right direction are located at positions closer to the both end portions of the impression roller 23 in the left-right direction than positions PI, P2. According to the present embodiment, compared with a case where the left-right direction positions of the both end portions of the impression roller 23 and the receiving portions 47A, 47B are the same as each other, it is possible to lengthen a path when an impact applied to the impression roller 23 is transmitted to the sensor holders 37 via the impression roller holder 35, and it is possible to disperse the aforementioned falling impact.

[0048] Further, in the present embodiment, particularly, the first mounting portion 53A and the second mounting portion 53B of the impression roller holder 35 provided on both sides in the left-right direction are positioned at inner sides in the left-right direction than the positions PI, P2 of the both end portions of the impression roller 23. According to the present embodiment, compared with the case where the left-right direction positions of the both end portions of the impression roller 23 and the mounting portions 53A, 53B are the same as each other, it is possible to lengthen the path when the impact applied to the impression roller 23 is transmitted to the sensor holder 37 via the impression roller holder 35, and it is possible to disperse the aforementioned dropped impact.

[0049] Further, in the present embodiment, particularly, as the base portion 45 of the sensor holder 37, a first base portion 45A on the front side in the front-rear direction and a second base portion 45B on the rear side are provided. According to the present embodiment, it is possible to transmit the impact transmitted from the impression roller holder 35 to the opening and closing cover 5 by separating the impact to both sides in the front-rear direction using the first base portion 45A and the second base portion 45B, and thus it is possible to stably disperse the impact.
