[0016] To make the objectives, technical solutions, and advantages of the embodiments of this application clearer, the specific technical solutions of the embodiments will be further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following embodiments are used to illustrate this application, but are not intended to limit the scope of this application.
[0017] In the following description, references are made to “some embodiments,” which describe a subset of all possible embodiments. However, it is understood that “some embodiments” may be the same subset or different subsets of all possible embodiments and may be combined with each other without conflict.
[0018] In the following description, the terms "first, second, third" are used merely to distinguish similar objects and do not represent a specific ordering of objects. It is understood that "first, second, third" may be interchanged in a specific order or sequence where permitted, so that the embodiments of this application described herein can be implemented in an order other than that illustrated or described herein.
[0019] Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this application belongs. The terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing embodiments of this application only and is not intended to limit this application.
[0020] This application provides an information processing method, such as... Figure 1 As shown, the method includes:
[0021] Step S110: Identify the type of application that the electronic device is running;
[0022] Here, the electronic device can be a device that can be paired with a stylus; for example, it can be a tablet, mobile phone, or laptop. During implementation, various applications exist on the electronic device, and users can run these applications by clicking or other actions while using the device.
[0023] In some embodiments, the application type can be predefined by the user and associated with an identifier. For example, an application used for online meetings can be identified as a critical event type, an application with drawing or writing functions can be identified as a writing type, and an application requiring mouse control can be identified as a mouse control type. During implementation, identifying the identifier corresponding to the application determines the type of the application.
[0024] In some embodiments, application classification rules can be set first according to preset rules, and then the application type can be determined based on the classification rules. Here, the preset rules can be determined based on the stylus's working mode. For example, if the stylus's working mode is air mouse mode, the preset rule could be that the corresponding application has mouse functionality. That is to say, the embodiments of this application can set a working mode corresponding to the stylus for the application. Different types of applications can be set with different stylus working modes.
[0025] During implementation, since the stylus can be used to adaptively support the applications currently running on the electronic device, it is necessary to identify the type of the application.
[0026] Step S120: Determine the target working mode of the stylus connected to the electronic device based on the type of the application; the stylus includes N working modes, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1;
[0027] Here, the stylus includes at least three working modes: air mouse mode, writing mode, and air gesture mode. In air mouse mode, the stylus replaces the mouse for system operations. For example, with the increasing use of screen mirroring, such as video playback or presentation playback during meetings, the stylus can be used in air mouse mode to control video or presentation playback. In writing mode, the stylus enables writing or drawing on electronic devices with displays. For example, users can use the stylus to draw images or edit text on electronic devices. In air gesture mode, the electronic device acquires the stylus's coordinates in the air, determines the user's gestures based on these coordinates, and executes corresponding actions on the electronic device.
[0028] Step S130: In response to the target operation of the stylus in the target working mode, complete the information processing of the application.
[0029] Here, the stylus receives a mode switching command sent by the electronic device, wherein the mode switching command includes a target working mode; based on the mode switching command, the working mode is switched to the target working mode; that is, if the stylus and the electronic device establish a connection channel for data transmission, the electronic device sends the target working mode corresponding to the current application to the stylus through the connection channel, and the stylus receives the trigger command / switching command of the target working mode and directly and automatically responds and enters the corresponding target working mode. In the target working mode, if the sensor for sensing the target operation is on the side of the stylus, then the stylus detects the target operation (e.g., air mouse mode); and sends the target operation to the electronic device so that the electronic device executes the target operation to complete the information processing of the application running on the electronic device. In the target working mode, if the sensor for sensing the target operation is on the side of the electronic device, then the electronic device directly obtains the target operation of the stylus (e.g., handwriting mode) through the sensor (i.e., determined through communication negotiation with the stylus); the electronic device executes the target operation to complete the information processing of the application running on the electronic device. For example, when an electronic device is running a drawing application, the stylus automatically switches to writing mode; in writing mode, it performs the corresponding drawing operation. When the electronic device closes the drawing application and opens a video playback application, the stylus automatically switches to air mouse mode; in air mouse mode, it performs the corresponding video playback operation.
[0030] In this embodiment, the type of application currently running on the electronic device is first identified; then, based on the application type, the target operating mode of the stylus connected to the electronic device is determined; finally, in response to the target operation of the stylus in the target operating mode, the information processing of the application is completed. In this way, the electronic device can adaptively adjust the operating mode of the stylus to match the running application, automatically matching the stylus to complete the application's information processing. This eliminates the need for the user to manually define the stylus mode, significantly improving the user experience.
[0031] In some embodiments, step S110, "identifying the type of application being run by the electronic device," can be achieved through the following steps:
[0032] Step 111: Obtain the functional characteristics information of each application;
[0033] Here, the functional feature information may include the operation information that implements the corresponding function of the application. For example, the functional feature of a drawing application is the drawing function; the functional feature of a meeting application is the mute and unmute operation used in a meeting; the functional feature of a music player application is the play and pause operation; and the operation of a presentation application is the operation that matches the mouse function.
[0034] During implementation, the operational information for the corresponding function of the application can be determined based on the application's functionality.
[0035] Step 112: Classify each application based on the functional feature information to obtain the classified applications;
[0036] During implementation, applications can be categorized based on their functional characteristics. For example, applications requiring mouse operation can be grouped together, as can applications requiring drawing or writing operation, or applications that require operation via stylus gestures in the air.
[0037] Step 113: Based on the completed application classification, identify the type of application that is running on the electronic device.
[0038] After categorizing the applications, the type of application currently running can be identified based on the category. For example, categorized applications can be labeled, and based on each application's label, the type of application currently running can be identified.
[0039] In this embodiment, functional feature information of each application is first obtained; then, the applications are classified based on the functional feature information to obtain classified applications; finally, based on the classified applications, the type of application currently running on the electronic device is identified. In this way, the type of application can be efficiently and accurately identified from the classified applications.
[0040] In some embodiments, step 112 above, "classifying the applications based on the functional feature information to obtain the classified applications," can be implemented through the following process:
[0041] Based on the functional feature information and preset classification rules, the applications are classified to obtain the classified applications.
[0042] Here, the preset classification rules can be set based on the matching mode of the stylus, or they can be set by the user according to the actual usage.
[0043] In this embodiment, a preset classification rule is first obtained, and then the application can be classified based on the application's functional features and the preset classification rule.
[0044] In some embodiments, step 112 above, "classifying the applications based on the functional feature information to obtain the classified applications," can be implemented through the following process:
[0045] Based on the aforementioned functional characteristics, cluster analysis is used to classify each application, resulting in a complete set of classified applications.
[0046] Here, cluster analysis is an ideal multivariate statistical technique, including hierarchical clustering and iterative clustering, which can be used to classify applications, grouping those with similar functional characteristics together. For example, K-means clustering can be used to classify applications. K-means clustering is an iterative clustering algorithm based on distance, using distance as a similarity metric; that is, the closer two objects are, the greater their similarity. This algorithm considers clusters to be composed of objects that are close in distance, thus aiming to obtain compact and independent clusters as the final goal. In implementation, K-means clustering can be used to group applications with similar functional characteristics into one category.
[0047] In this embodiment of the application, cluster analysis is used to classify applications based on functional feature information, which can group applications with similar functional feature information into one category.
[0048] In some embodiments, the application type includes at least one of the following: mouse control class, writing class, and key event class; the N working modes of the stylus include at least one of the following: air mouse mode, writing mode, and air gesture mode.
[0049] like Figure 2 As shown, step S120 above, "determining the target working mode of the stylus connected to the electronic device based on the type of the application," can be achieved through the following steps:
[0050] Step S210: If the type of the application is determined to be mouse control type, set the target working mode of the stylus to air mouse mode;
[0051] During implementation, if an electronic device needs a stylus to be compatible with applications that require mouse control, a message setting the target working mode of the stylus can be sent to the stylus through the signal channel connected to the stylus, so that the stylus can switch its working mode to air mouse mode based on the message.
[0052] Step S220: If the type of the application is determined to be writing, set the target working mode of the stylus to writing mode;
[0053] Step S230: If the type of the application is determined to be a critical event class, set the target working mode of the stylus to writing mode or air gesture mode.
[0054] In this embodiment, when the application is determined to be a mouse-controlled application, the target working mode of the stylus is set to air mouse mode; when the application is determined to be a writing application, the target working mode of the stylus is set to writing mode; and when the application is determined to be a critical event application, the target working mode of the stylus is set to either writing mode or air gesture mode. This allows for adaptive matching between mouse-controlled applications and the stylus's air mouse mode; adaptive matching between writing applications and the stylus's writing mode; and adaptive matching between critical event applications and the stylus's writing mode or air gesture mode.
[0055] In the embodiments of this application, such as Figure 3 As shown, step S120 above, "determining the target working mode of the stylus connected to the electronic device based on the type of the application," can be achieved through the following steps:
[0056] Step S310: If the application scenario of the electronic device is determined to be a screen projection scenario based on the type of the application, determine whether the stylus is in contact with the screen of the electronic device;
[0057] Here, when the application scenario of an electronic device is screen mirroring, the electronic device can run a corresponding type of screen mirroring application. During implementation, this type of application can be first categorized as a screen mirroring application, that is, its type can be identified as screen mirroring. In this way, based on the application's identifier, it can be determined that the application running on the electronic device is a screen mirroring application, thus determining the electronic device's application scenario as a screen mirroring scenario. For example, if it is identified that a user is using an application with screen mirroring functionality on an electronic device, the application scenario of that electronic device can be determined as a screen mirroring scenario.
[0058] During implementation, if it is determined that the electronic device is using the screen mirroring function, it can be determined whether the stylus is in contact with the screen of the electronic device based on the signal generated by the contact between the stylus tip and the screen of the electronic device.
[0059] Step S320: When it is determined that the stylus is in contact with the screen of the electronic device, the target working mode of the stylus is set to writing mode;
[0060] During implementation, when the stylus is in contact with the screen of the electronic device, the target working mode of the stylus can be set to writing mode. This means that the handwritten content on the screen can be projected onto the projection display. For example, when a user displays a presentation on the projection screen using a projection application, the user can use the stylus to write or annotate the presentation on the screen of the electronic device. This writing or annotation will be displayed on the projection screen so that other users viewing the projection can see the user's writing or annotations, enhancing the user's interactive experience.
[0061] Step S330: If it is determined that the stylus is not in contact with the screen of the terminal, set the target working mode of the stylus to air mouse mode.
[0062] During implementation, if it is determined that the stylus is not in contact with the terminal's screen, the stylus's target operating mode can be set to air mouse mode. This means that when the user removes the stylus from the terminal's screen, it can be used as an air mouse. For example, when a user displays a presentation on a projection screen using a screen mirroring application, if the stylus is removed from the terminal's screen, it can perform mouse-like functions such as clicking to turn pages, selecting presentation content, and editing, facilitating user interaction with the projected content during presentations.
[0063] In this embodiment, when the application scenario of the electronic device is determined to be a screen projection scenario based on the application type, it is determined whether the stylus is in contact with the screen of the electronic device. If the stylus is in contact with the screen, the target working mode of the stylus is set to writing mode. If the stylus is not in contact with the screen, the target working mode is set to air mouse mode. This allows for automatic switching of the stylus's target working mode to complete the corresponding operation function, increasing user convenience and improving the user experience, regardless of whether the stylus is in contact with the screen or not.
[0064] Figure 4 This application provides a schematic diagram of the structure of an Android system, as shown in the embodiments. Figure 4 As shown, the system includes at least a stylus management subsystem 410, an application scenario recognition subsystem 420, and a button configuration management subsystem 430, wherein...
[0065] The stylus management subsystem 410 is used to manage stylus connection management, mode switching, and button response processing.
[0066] The application scenario identification subsystem 420 is used to identify the type of the current application and determine the application scenario of the electronic device based on the identified application type. Here, the type of the current application can be identified through preset application type definitions. For example, the application category in the Android system can be used to determine the type of the current application; alternatively, artificial intelligence methods such as K-means clustering can be used to automatically identify the type of the current application.
[0067] The application scenario recognition subsystem 420 is also used to identify the working modes of the stylus that the electronic device can respond to, and the working modes that the stylus connected to the electronic device can support. Here, the stylus can send the handwriting-supported response type to the electronic device using the connection channel established with the electronic device. For example, if the stylus simultaneously supports air mouse mode, writing mode, and air gesture mode, it can send all three modes to the electronic device.
[0068] During implementation, once the working modes of the stylus that the electronic device can respond to and the working modes that the stylus connected to the electronic device can support are determined, the working modes that the electronic device and the stylus can match can be effectively determined.
[0069] The button configuration management subsystem 430 is used to execute different policy responses based on application scenarios and matching working modes. For example, when the electronic device is running meeting software, the electronic device can configure the stylus to air gesture mode. When the corresponding electronic device receives a button press from the stylus, it can respond and execute the mute or unmute function in the meeting. When the electronic device is playing a song, the electronic device can configure the stylus to air gesture mode or writing mode. When the corresponding electronic device receives a button press from the stylus, it can respond and execute the play or pause function for playing the song.
[0070] Here, both the aerial posture mode and the writing mode belong to the modes that respond to critical events.
[0071] In this embodiment, the application scenario identification subsystem first identifies the application scenario of the electronic device and the working modes that the electronic device and stylus can match; then, the stylus management subsystem sets the target working mode of the stylus based on the application scenario of the electronic device; finally, upon receiving a button trigger message from the stylus, the button configuration management subsystem responds to the button trigger message to execute the corresponding strategy. In this way, the configuration and use of the electronic device and stylus can adapt to more usage scenarios, including business and entertainment scenarios commonly used by the target group; it eliminates the need for manual user definition, automatically matching the stylus's working mode, which is very convenient and greatly improves the user experience.
