[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0002] This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application Serial No. 62 / 964,499, filed on January 22, 2020, entitled “TECHNIQUES FOR PHYSICAL DOWNLINK CONTROL CHANNEL (PDCCH) LIMITS FOR MULTIPLE CELLS SCHEDULING ONE CELL IN AWIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM,” and U.S. Patent Application No. 17 / 141,995, filed on January 5, 2021, entitled “TECHNIQUES FOR PHYSICAL DOWNLINK CONTROL CHANNEL (PDCCH) LIMITS FOR MULTIPLE CELLS SCHEDULING ONE CELL IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM,” which are expressly incorporated herein by reference in their entireties. Background Art
[0003] Aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to wireless communication systems, and more particularly, to physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) restrictions for scheduling multiple cells of one cell in fifth generation new radio (5G NR).
[0004] Wireless communication systems are widely deployed to provide various types of communication content such as voice, video, packet data, messaging, broadcast, etc. These systems may be multiple-access systems capable of supporting communication with multiple users by sharing available system resources (e.g., time, frequency, and power). Examples of such multiple-access systems include code division multiple access (CDMA) systems, time division multiple access (TDMA) systems, frequency division multiple access (FDMA) systems, orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) systems, and single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) systems.
[0005] These multiple access technologies have been adopted in various telecommunication standards to provide a common protocol that enables different wireless devices to communicate at a city, country, region, or even global level. For example, the fifth generation (5G) wireless communication technology (which may be referred to as NR) is envisioned to expand and support diverse usage scenarios and applications relative to current mobile network generations. In one aspect, 5G communication technology may include: enhanced mobile broadband for human-centric use cases for accessing multimedia content, services, and data; ultra-reliable-low latency communications (URLLC) with certain specifications regarding latency and reliability; and massive machine-type communications that may allow for very large numbers of connected devices and the transmission of relatively small amounts of non-delay-sensitive information.
[0006] For example, for various communication technologies, such as but not limited to NR, some embodiments may increase transmission speed and flexibility, but also increase transmission complexity. Therefore, it may be desirable to improve wireless communication operations. Summary of the invention

[0027] Various aspects are now described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, for the purpose of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of one or more aspects. However, it is apparent that these aspects can be practiced without these specific details.
[0028] The described features generally relate to PDCCH restrictions for scheduling multiple cells of one cell based on a reference cell in fifth generation new radio (5G NR). For example, in long term evolution (LTE), a serving cell can only be scheduled by a single scheduling cell. In one instance, if the scheduling cell is the serving cell itself, the process is called self-scheduling. In other cases, if the scheduling cell is not the serving cell, the process is called cross-carrier scheduling.
[0029] In one aspect, enabling a serving cell to be scheduled by multiple cells (e.g., greater than or equal to two cells) brings benefits. For example, if the secondary cell data is cross-carrier scheduled by non-fallback downlink control information (DCI) (e.g., 0-1, 1-1) in another cell, the secondary cell data can also be self-scheduled by its own fallback DCI (e.g., 0-0, 1-0). On the other hand, the primary cell data is cross-carrier scheduled by non-fallback DCI (e.g., 0-1, 1-1) in another cell, and all other DCI including group common DCI and DCI for broadcast data scheduling are still received in the primary cell. Therefore, multiple scheduling of one cell allows more flexible control resource utilization for carrier aggregation.
[0030] The present disclosure generally relates to the current problem of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) restrictions for scheduling multiple cells of a cell based on a reference cell. For example, in one aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, an apparatus, and a non-legal computer-readable medium for wireless communication, which determines a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of blind detections (BDs) and the number of control channel elements (CCEs) for decoding PDCCH candidates for a first cell, a second cell scheduled by the first cell, and at least a third cell that schedules the second cell, wherein at least one of the third cells is the same cell as the second cell or the third cell is different from the second cell; and receives one or more PDCCH transmissions from the first cell, the second cell, and the third cell based on the PDCCH restriction.
[0031] In one embodiment, the present embodiment determines a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs based on one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in the second cell or one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in at least a third cell, wherein the first cell is scheduled by the second cell and at least a third cell different from the second cell. The present embodiment also receives one or more PDCCH transmissions for the first cell from the second cell and at least the third cell based on the PDCCH restriction.
[0032] The following will refer to Figure 1-8 The described features are presented in more detail.

Combinations of these approaches may also be used.
[0037] Figure 1 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of a wireless communication system and access network 100. The wireless communication system (also referred to as a wireless wide area network (WWAN)) may include a base station 102, a UE 104, an evolved packet core (EPC) 160, and / or a 5G core (5GC) 190. The base station 102, which may also be referred to as a network entity, may include a macro cell (a high-power cellular base station) and / or a small cell (a low-power cellular base station). A macro cell may include a base station. A small cell may include a femto cell, a pico cell, and a micro cell. In an example, the base station 102 may also include a gNB 180, as further described herein.
[0038] In one example, as described herein, some nodes such as base station 102 / gNB 180 may have a modem 240 and a communication component 242 for determining PDCCH restrictions for cells scheduled by multiple cells. Although base station 102 / gNB 180 is shown as having a modem 240 and a communication component 242, this is an illustrative example, and substantially any node may include a modem 240 and a communication component 242 for providing the corresponding functionality described herein.
[0039] In another example, as described herein, some nodes of a wireless communication system, such as UE 104, may have a modem 340 and a communication component 342 for determining a PDCCH restriction of a cell scheduled by multiple cells. Although UE 104 is shown as having a modem 340 and a communication component 342, this is an illustrative example, and substantially any node or node type may include a modem 340 and a communication component 342 for providing the corresponding functionality described herein.
[0040] A base station 102 configured for 4G LTE (which may be collectively referred to as an evolved universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN)) may interface with the EPC 160 via a backhaul link 132 (e.g., using an S1 interface). A base station 102 configured for 5G NR (which may be collectively referred to as a next generation RAN (NG-RAN)) may interface with the 5GC 190 via a backhaul link 184. The base station 102 may perform one or more of the following functions, among other functions: user data transmission, radio channel encryption and decryption, integrity protection, header compression, mobility control functions (e.g., handover, dual connectivity), inter-cell interference coordination, connection establishment and release, load balancing, distribution of non-access stratum (NAS) messages, NAS node selection, synchronization, radio point access network (RAN) sharing, multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS), user and device tracking, RAN information management (RIM), paging, positioning, and delivery of warning messages. Base stations 102 may communicate with each other via backhaul links 134 (e.g., using an X2 interface) directly or indirectly (e.g., via EPC 160 or 5GC 190). Backhaul links 132, 134, and / or 184 may be wired or wireless.
[0041] The base station 102 may communicate wirelessly with one or more UEs 104. Each base station 102 may provide communication coverage for a corresponding geographic coverage area 110. There may be overlapping geographic coverage areas 110. For example, a small cell 102' may have a coverage area 110' that overlaps with the coverage area 110 of one or more macro base stations 102. A network including small cells and macro cells may be referred to as a heterogeneous network. A heterogeneous network may also include a home evolved Node B (eNB) (HeNB), which may provide services to a restricted group, which may be referred to as a closed subscriber group (CSG). The communication link 120 between the base station 102 and the UE 104 may include an uplink (UL) (also referred to as a reverse link) transmission from the UE 104 to the base station 102 and / or a downlink (DL) (also referred to as a forward link) transmission from the base station 102 to the UE 104. The communication link 120 may use multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna technology, including spatial multiplexing, beamforming and / or transmit diversity. The communication link may be through one or more carriers. The base station 102 / UE 104 may use spectrum with up to Y MHz (e.g., 5, 10, 15, 20, 100, 400, etc. MHz) bandwidth per carrier allocated in a carrier aggregation for transmission in the DL and / or UL direction for a total of up to Yx MHz (e.g., for x component carriers). The carriers may or may not be adjacent to each other. The allocation of carriers may be asymmetric with respect to DL and UL (e.g., more or fewer carriers may be allocated for DL than for UL). The component carrier may include a primary component carrier and one or more secondary component carriers. The primary component carrier may be referred to as a primary cell (PCell) and the secondary component carrier may be referred to as a secondary cell (SCell).
[0042] In another example, some UEs 104 may communicate with each other using a device-to-device (D2D) communication link 158. The D2D communication link 158 may use DL / UL WWAN spectrum. The D2D communication link 158 may use one or more sidelink channels, such as a physical sidelink broadcast channel (PSBCH), a physical sidelink discovery channel (PSDCH), a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH), and a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH). The D2D communication may be through various wireless D2D communication systems, such as, for example, FlashLinQ, WiMedia, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wi-Fi based on IEEE 802.11 standards, LTE, or NR.
[0043] The wireless communication system may also include a Wi-Fi access point (AP) 150 that communicates with a Wi-Fi station (STA) 152 in the 5 GHz unlicensed spectrum via a communication link 154. When communicating in the unlicensed spectrum, the STA 152 / AP 150 may perform a clear channel assessment (CCA) prior to communication to determine whether the channel is available.
[0044] The small cell 102' can operate in licensed and / or unlicensed spectrum. When operating in the unlicensed spectrum, the small cell 102' can adopt NR and use the same 5 GHz unlicensed spectrum used by the Wi-Fi AP 150. The small cell 102' adopting NR in the unlicensed spectrum can expand the coverage of the access network and / or increase the capacity of the access network.
[0045] The base station 102, whether a small cell 102' or a large cell (e.g., a macro base station), can include an eNB, a gNodeB (gNB), or other types of base stations. Some base stations (e.g., gNB 180) can operate in traditional sub-6 GHz spectrum, millimeter wave (mmW) frequencies, and / or near mmW frequencies to communicate with UE 104. When the gNB 180 operates at mmW or near mmW frequencies, the gNB 180 can be referred to as a mmW base station. Extremely high frequency (EHF) is a portion of the RF in the electromagnetic spectrum. EHF has a range of 30 GHz to 300 GHz and a wavelength between 1 mm and 10 mm. Radio waves in the band can be referred to as millimeter waves. Near mmW can extend down to frequencies with a wavelength of 100 mm and 3 GHz. The super high frequency (SHF) band extends between 3 GHz and 30 GHz and is also called centimeter waves. Communications using the mmW / near mmW radio frequency bands have extremely high path losses and short distances. The mmW base station 180 can utilize beamforming 182 with the UE 104 to compensate for the extremely high path loss and short distance. The base station 102 mentioned here may include a gNB 180.
[0046] The EPC 160 may include a mobility management entity (MME) 162, other MMEs 164, a serving gateway 166, a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) gateway 168, a broadcast multicast service center (BM-SC) 170, and a packet data network (PDN) gateway 172. The MME 162 may communicate with a home subscriber server (HSS) 174. The MME 162 is a control node that handles signaling between the UE 104 and the EPC 160. Typically, the MME 162 provides bearer and connection management. All user Internet Protocol (IP) packets are transmitted through the serving gateway 166, which itself is connected to the PDN gateway 172. The PDN gateway 172 provides UE IP address allocation and other functions. The PDN gateway 172 and the BM-SC 170 are connected to IP services 176. The IP services 176 may include the Internet, an intranet, an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS), a PS streaming service, and / or other IP services. The BM-SC 170 may provide functionality for MBMS user service provisioning and delivery. The BM-SC 170 may serve as an entry point for content provider MBMS transmissions, may be used to authorize and initiate MBMS bearer services within a public land mobile network (PLMN), and may be used to schedule MBMS transmissions. The MBMS Gateway 168 may be used to distribute MBMS services to base stations 102 belonging to a multicast broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) area that broadcasts specific services, and may be responsible for session management (start / stop) and collecting charging information related to eMBMS.
[0047] 5GC 190 may include an access and mobility management function (AMF) 192, other AMFs 193, a session management function (SMF) 194, and a user plane function (UPF) 195. AMF 192 may communicate with unified data management (UDM) 196. AMF 192 may be a control node that handles signaling between UE 104 and 5GC 190. Typically, AMF 192 may provide QoS flow and session management. User Internet Protocol (IP) packets (e.g., from one or more UEs 104) may be transmitted through UPF 195. UPF 195 may provide UE IP address allocation and other functions for one or more UEs. UPF 195 is connected to IP services 197. IP services 197 may include the Internet, an intranet, an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS), a PS streaming service, and / or other IP services.
[0048] A base station may also be referred to as a gNB, a Node B, an evolved Node B (eNB), an access point, a base transceiver station, a radio base station, a radio transceiver, a transceiver function, a basic service set (BSS), an extended service set (ESS), a transmit reception point (TRP), or some other suitable terminology. Base station 102 provides an access point to EPC 160 or 5GC 190 for UE 104. Examples of UE 104 include cellular phones, smart phones, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) phones, laptops, personal digital assistants (PDAs), satellite radios, positioning systems (e.g., satellite, terrestrial), multimedia devices, video devices, digital audio players (e.g., MP3 players), cameras, game consoles, tablets, smart devices, robots, drones, industrial / manufacturing equipment, wearable devices (e.g., smart watches, smart clothing, smart glasses, virtual reality goggles, smart wristbands, smart jewelry (e.g., smart rings, smart bracelets), vehicle / onboard equipment, meters (e.g., parking meters, electricity meters, gas meters, water meters, flow meters), gas pumps, large or small kitchen appliances, medical / health care equipment, implants, sensors / actuators, displays, or any other similarly functional devices. Some UEs 104 may be referred to as IoT devices (e.g., meters, pumps, monitors, cameras, industrial / manufacturing equipment, appliances, vehicles, robots, drones, etc.). [0050] refer to Figure 2 , an example of an implementation of a node acting as an IAB node, such as a base station 102 (e.g., base station 102 and / or gNB 180 as described above), may include various components, some of which have been described above and are further described herein, including components that communicate via one or more buses 244, such as one or more processors 212 and memory 216 and a transceiver 202, which may operate in conjunction with a modem 240 and / or a communication component 242 for beam configuration based on QCL indications.
[0051] In one aspect, the one or more processors 212 may include the modem 240 and / or may be part of the modem 240 using one or more modem processors. Thus, various functions associated with the communication component 242 may be included in the modem 240 and / or the processor 212, and in one aspect, may be performed by a single processor, while in other aspects, different functions may be performed by a combination of two or more different processors. For example, in one aspect, the one or more processors 212 may include any one or any combination of a modem processor, or a baseband processor, or a digital signal processor, or a transmit processor, or a receiver processor, or a transceiver processor associated with the transceiver 202. In other aspects, some features of the one or more processors 212 and / or the modem 240 associated with the communication component 242 may be performed by the transceiver 202.
[0052] In addition, the memory 216 can be configured to store data used herein and / or local versions of the communication component 242 and / or one or more subcomponents thereof or the application 275 executed by the at least one processor 212. The memory 216 can include any type of computer-readable medium usable by a computer or the at least one processor 212, such as random access memory (RAM), read-only memory (ROM), tape, disk, optical disk, volatile memory, non-volatile memory, and any combination thereof. In one aspect, for example, when the base station 102 operates the at least one processor 212 to execute the communication component 242 and / or one or more subcomponents thereof, the memory 216 can be a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that stores one or more computer-executable codes defining the communication component 242 and / or one or more subcomponents thereof, and / or data associated therewith.
[0053] The transceiver 202 may include at least one receiver 206 and at least one transmitter 208. The receiver 206 may include hardware and / or software executable by a processor for receiving data, including instructions and stored in a memory (e.g., a computer-readable medium). The receiver 206 may be, for example, a radio frequency (RF) receiver. In one aspect, the receiver 206 may receive a signal transmitted by at least one base station 102. In addition, the receiver 206 may process such received signals and may also obtain measurements of the signal, such as, but not limited to, Ec / Io, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), reference signal received power (RSRP), received signal strength indicator (RSSI), etc. The transmitter 208 may include hardware and / or software executable by a processor for transmitting data, including instructions and stored in a memory (e.g., a computer-readable medium). Suitable examples of the transmitter 208 may include, but are not limited to, an RF transmitter.
[0054] In addition, in one aspect, the base station 102 may include an RF front end 288 that may communicate with one or more antennas 265 and the transceiver 202 to receive and transmit radio transmissions, such as wireless communications transmitted by at least one base station 102 or wireless transmissions transmitted by the UE 104. The RF front end 288 may be connected to the one or more antennas 265 and may include one or more low noise amplifiers (LNAs) 290, one or more switches 292, one or more power amplifiers (PAs) 298, and one or more filters 296 for transmitting and receiving RF signals. The antenna 265 may include one or more antennas, antenna elements, and / or antenna arrays.
[0055] In one aspect, the LNA 290 can amplify the received signal at a desired output level. In one aspect, each LNA 290 can have a specified minimum and maximum gain value. In one aspect, the RF front end 288 can use one or more switches 292 to select a particular LNA 290 and its specified gain value based on the desired gain value for a particular application.
[0056] In addition, for example, the RF front end 288 can use one or more PAs 298 to amplify the signal of the RF output at a desired output power level. In one aspect, each PA 298 can have a specified minimum and maximum gain value. In one aspect, the RF front end 288 can use one or more switches 292 to select a specific PA 298 and its specified gain value based on the desired gain value of a particular application.
[0057] In addition, for example, the RF front end 288 can use one or more filters 296 to filter the received signal to obtain an input RF signal. Similarly, in one aspect, for example, a corresponding filter 296 can be used to filter the output from the corresponding PA 298 to produce an output signal for transmission. In one aspect, each filter 296 can be connected to a specific LNA 290 and / or PA 298. In one aspect, based on the configuration specified by the transceiver 202 and / or the processor 212, the RF front end 288 can use one or more switches 292 to select a transmit or receive path using a specified filter 296, LNA 290, and / or PA 298.
[0058] As such, the transceiver 202 may be configured to transmit and receive wireless signals via the RF front end 288 through the one or more antennas 265. In one aspect, the transceiver may be tuned to operate at a specified frequency so that the UE 104 may communicate with, for example, one or more base stations 102 or one or more cells associated with the one or more base stations 102. For example, in one aspect, the modem 240 may configure the transceiver 202 to operate at a specified frequency and power level based on the UE configuration of the UE 104 and the communication protocol used by the modem 240.
[0059] In one aspect, modem 240 can be a multi-band multi-mode modem that can process digital data and communicate with transceiver 202 so that digital data is transmitted and received using transceiver 202. In one aspect, modem 240 can be multi-band and configured to support multiple frequency bands for a specific communication protocol. In one aspect, modem 240 can be multi-mode and configured to support multiple operating networks and communication protocols. In one aspect, modem 240 can control one or more components (e.g., RF front end 288, transceiver 202) of UE 104 to achieve transmission and / or reception of signals from the network based on a specified modem configuration. In one aspect, modem configuration can be based on the mode of the modem and the frequency band in use. On the other hand, modem configuration can be based on UE configuration information associated with UE 104 provided by the network during cell selection and / or cell reselection.
[0060] In one aspect, processor(s) 212 may correspond to a processor that is associated with Figure 8 Similarly, the memory 216 may correspond to the one or more processors described in conjunction with the UE. Figure 8 The memory described by the UE in .
[0061] refer to Figure 3 , an example of an implementation of UE 104 may include various components, some of which have been described above and are further described herein, including components such as one or more processors 312 and memory 316 and a transceiver 302 that communicate via one or more buses 344, which may work in conjunction with a modem 340.
[0062] The transceiver 302, receiver 306, transmitter 308, one or more processors 312, memory 316, application 375, bus 344, RF front end 388, LNA 390, switch 392, filter 396, PA 398 and one or more antennas 365 can be the same as or similar to the corresponding components of the base station 102 described above, but are configured or otherwise programmed for base station operations as opposed to base station operations.
[0063] In one aspect, processor(s) 312 may correspond to the one or more processors described in conjunction with the base station in FIG7. Similarly, memory 316 may correspond to the memory described in conjunction with the base station in FIG7.
[0064] Figure 44 is a diagram illustrating an example of cross-scheduling and self-scheduling between different cells. In one aspect, when NR-dual connectivity (DC) is configured for a UE, PDCCH restrictions are determined separately for each cell group (CG). For example, a UE (e.g., UE 104) may determine a reference number of configured downlink (DL) cells,
[0065] In one aspect, in the first step, when the UE is not configured with NR-DC, and if the UE reports a PDCCH blind decoding capability message (e.g., pdcch-BlindDetectionCA), then Equal to the value of pdcch-BlindDetectionCA. In one example, this capability applies to both BD restriction and PDCCH restriction. On the other hand, when the UE is configured with NR-DC, for each CG (e.g., primary cell group (MCG), secondary cell group (SCG), etc.), A value equal to the reference number of cells of the CG provided by the network (e.g., pdcch-BlindDetectionMCG for MCG and pdcch-BlindDetectionSCG for SCG).
[0066] In one aspect, in a second step, the UE may determine a reference number of cells for the group of cells having the same numerology configuration μ, (For example, μ may be 0, 1, 2, and 3 for subcarrier spacing (SCS) 15, 30, 60, and 120 kHz, respectively.) For example, the UE may divide the number of configured DL cells with parameter set factor μ proportionally across different groups of cells associated with different values of μ. The result is:
[0067]
[0068] in is the number of configured DL cells with μ, is the number of configured DL cells.
[0069] In one aspect, in a third step, the UE may determine the total PDCCH BD limit and CCE limit for the group of cells associated with the same parameter set factor μ. For example, the total PDCCH BD limit (e.g., the maximum total number of BDs that the UE is expected to handle for the group of cells by time slot) may be:
[0070]
[0071] Furthermore, in one example, the total PDCCH CCE limit (e.g., the maximum total number of non-overlapping CCEs that a UE is expected to process for the set of cells per time slot) is:
[0072]
[0073] in and is the maximum number of monitored PDCCH candidates and non-overlapping CCEs that the UE is expected to process in a single cell per time slot. In one example, if the cell is activated, μ is the parameter set configured for the active bandwidth part (BWP) of the cell, and for a deactivated cell, μ is the parameter set configured for the first BWP to be activated. In another example, the monitored PDCCH candidates can be equivalent to BD.
[0074] In one aspect, in a fourth step, the UE may determine, based on a maximum number of BDs that the UE is expected to process in a time slot of each cell associated with the parameter set factor μ, and a maximum number of non-overlapping CCEs that the UE is expected to process in a time slot of each cell associated with the parameter set factor μ, that the per-cell PDCCH BD limit and the CCE limit for each scheduled DL cell associated with the parameter set factor μ are,
[0075] In one aspect, if the UE does not report pdcch-BlindDetectionCA, as mentioned in the first step, the reference number of cells (Right now, ). According to the second step, the reference number of cells for parameter set μ is (i.e., the number of DL cells with the configuration of parameter set μ). According to the third step, the total BD / CCE restriction in the time slots of the set of cells associated with μ is and Furthermore, in the third step, the per-cell BD / CCE limit in the time slot of each cell associated with μ is and In this example, a per-cell limit is defined. As long as the per-cell limit is met for each configured DL cell with μ, the total limit is always met for each group of configured DL cells with μ. This also applies when the UE reports pdcch-BlindDetectionCA and the total number of configured DL cells For example, the UE is configured with 4 cells, but the reported capability value is 5.
[0076] Figure 55 is a diagram showing an example of a cross-scheduling and self-scheduling scheme 500 between two cells. Figure 5 In the case of carrier aggregation of cell B in the first scheduling cell (cell A), in order to determine the BD and CCE restriction of the PDCCH of the scheduled cell (e.g., cell B) in the time slot of cell B and the time slot of cell A, the network can allocate the 'x' part of cell B's cell restriction to the PDCCH candidates received in its first scheduling cell (cell A), and allocate the 'y' part of cell B's cell restriction to the PDCCH candidates in its second scheduling cell (cell B), so that 'x'+'y'=1.
[0077] In some embodiments, if cell B with μ_B is cross-carrier scheduled by another cell A with μ_A, then for the purpose of determining PDCCH restriction, cell B is assumed to have the same parameter set as its scheduled cell μ_A. As an extension of the aforementioned feature, for the determination of PDCCH restriction, in the case where a cell is cross-carrier scheduled by multiple (i.e., ≥2) cells, the network can count the PDCCH candidates monitored in cell A for cell B into the total BD / CCE restriction of the group of cells with the SCS of cell A. In some aspects, since the 'x' portion of the per-cell restriction of cell B is assigned to these PDCCH candidates monitored in cell A, the number of cells of cell B 'x' is counted into the number of cells of the group of cells with the SCS of cell A.
[0078] In some embodiments, the network may count the PDCCH candidates for cell B that are monitored in cell B into the total BD / CCE limit for the set of cells having the SCS of cell B. Since a 'y' portion of the per-cell limit for cell B is assigned to these PDCCH candidates monitored in cell B, the cell number 'y' of cell B is counted into the cell number of the set of cells having the SCS of cell B.
[0079] Figure 6 is a diagram showing an example of multiple cross scheduling and self scheduling 600 between multiple cells with different SCS. In this example, cell B is scheduled by cell A. There are also two cells with SCS=30kHz and one cell with SCS=15kHz that are self-scheduled. Figure 6 The number of cells in a group of cells with SCS = 15kHz is shown And the number of cells in a group of cells with SCS = 30kHz
[0080] In the first embodiment, the UE may be configured with carrier aggregation. If any serving cell can be scheduled by multiple cells (one of the scheduling cells may be the serving cell itself), then to replace the total number of configured DL cells associated with parameter set μ for PDCCH restriction calculation And through To replace the total number of all configured DL cells In some aspects, for the UE's DL configured cells, the sum is performed across cell IDs. Cell c1 may be a scheduled cell scheduled by cell c1 with parameter set μ. If c1 cannot be scheduled by cell c2 or cell c2 parameter set is not μ, then is zero. If c1 can only be scheduled by a cell c2 with μ, then For one.
[0081] In the second embodiment, multiple methods can be used to determine In one example, the network may configure these values for each cell pair of c1 and c2. In another example, the UE may report these values to the network, for example as capabilities. In another example, the UE and the network may configure these values based on the values of each scheduled cell c1. calculate and / or Proportional to the amount of PDCCHs configured for the scheduled cell c1 and the scheduling cell c2, such as the number of configured search space sets, the number of configured PDCCH candidates, the number of CCEs of the configured PDCCH candidates, etc.
[0082] In a third embodiment, the serving cell can be scheduled by up to two cells, and one of the scheduling cells is the serving cell itself (ie, self-scheduling). Then, for each scheduled cell c1, for all c2, At most two values are non-zero.
[0083] In the fourth implementation, the scheduled cell c1 may be based on To modify the third implementation mode. For each cell scheduled by two cells, All non-zero values of may be the same for cross-carrier scheduling (ie, c1≠c2), and All non-zero values of can be the same for self-scheduling (i.e., c1 equals c2). In addition, it may be necessary to determine all For example, the UE may report the capability report for cross-carrier scheduling. , and a non-zero value for self-scheduling It is exactly 1-r.
[0084] In a fifth embodiment related to UE PDCCH blind decoding capability reporting and a reference number of cells, when any serving cell of the UE can be scheduled by multiple cells and the UE can be configured with a DL cell such that When the value is greater than a threshold (e.g., 4), the UE may report the joint PDCCH blind decoding capability (i.e., pdcch-BlindDetectionCA) to the network. In this case, the reference number of configured DL cells is determined in the same way as in the normal CA case in step 1, as described herein.
[0085] In a sixth embodiment related to UE PDCCH blind decoding capability reporting and reference number of cells, when the UE does not report the joint PDCCH blind decoding capability (i.e., pdcch-BlindDetectionCA) to the network and any serving cell of the UE is scheduled by multiple cells, based on the number of cells configured to the UE The value of , the reference number of cells configured for DL Can be equal to
[0086] A seventh embodiment may be directed to defining an overall PDCCH BD / CCE limit for a group of cells associated with the same μ. For example, the maximum number of BDs and the maximum number of CCEs for PDCCH candidates received in the group of cells associated with the same parameter set factor μ may be determined by using and Determine in the same way as in the normal CA case in step 3 and
[0087] The eighth embodiment may be directed to defining per-cell restrictions on PDCCH candidates for each pair of c_1 and c_2. and In the same manner as in the normal CA case in step 4, based on the and The maximum number of BDs and the maximum number of CCEs of PDCCH candidates monitored in the scheduling cell c2 associated with the parameter set factor μ are determined for the scheduled cell c1.
[0088] In the ninth embodiment, the serving cell may be configured by multiple cells, and when the scheduling cells have the same parameter set, the maximum number of BDs and the maximum number of CCEs of each pair of PDCCH candidates of c1 and c2 may not be separately determined. When multiple cells scheduling the same cell have the same parameter set, instead of separately defining the maximum number of BDs and the maximum number of CCEs of each pair of c1 and c2, it is possible to and To define the maximum number of combinations of BDs and the maximum number of combinations of CCEs for PDCCH candidates of the scheduled cell monitored in all scheduling cells with the same parameter set μ. Accordingly, for each scheduled cell c1 and all scheduling cells with the same parameter set μ, Instead of defining separately for each pair of c1 and c2 The benefit of this implementation is that the BD limit and CCE limit can be shared by scheduling cells with the same parameter set of the serving cell.
[0089] Now go to Fig. 7A and 7B , various aspects are depicted with reference to one or more components and one or more methods that can perform the actions or operations described herein, where aspects in dashed lines may be optional. Fig. 7A and 7B The operations described in the present invention are presented in a specific order and / or performed by example components, but it should be understood that the order of actions and components performing the actions may vary depending on the implementation. In addition, it should be understood that the following actions, functions, and / or components described can be referred to by reference to the embodiments described herein. Figure 1 , 2 , 3 and / or 8, executed by one or more components, a specially programmed processor, a processor executing specially programmed software, or a computer-readable medium, or by any other combination of hardware components and / or software components capable of performing the described actions or functions.
[0090] Fig. 7A A flow chart of an example of a method 700 for wireless communication, for example, at a UE is shown. In one example, the UE 104 may use Figure 1 , 3 and one or more components described in 8 to perform the functions described in method 700.
[0091] At box 702, method 700 may determine a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs based on one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in the second cell or one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in at least a third cell, the first cell being scheduled by the second cell and at least a third cell different from the second cell. In one aspect, communication component 342, for example, in combination with (multiple) processors 312, memory 316 and / or transceiver 302, may be configured to determine a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs based on one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in the second cell or one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in at least a third cell, the first cell being scheduled by the second cell and at least a third cell different from the second cell. Therefore, the UE 104, the (multiple) processors 312, the communication component 342 or one of their subcomponents may define a component for determining a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs based on one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in the second cell or one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in at least a third cell, the first cell being scheduled by the second cell and at least a third cell different from the second cell.
[0092] At block 704, the method 500 may receive one or more PDCCH transmissions for the first cell from the second cell and at least the third cell based on the PDCCH restriction. In one aspect, the communication component 342, for example, in conjunction with the (multiple) processors 312, the memory 316, and / or the transceiver 302, may be configured to receive one or more PDCCH transmissions for the first cell from the second cell and at least the third cell based on the PDCCH restriction. Thus, the UE 104, the (multiple) processors 312, the communication component 342, or one of its subcomponents may define a component for receiving one or more PDCCH transmissions for the first cell from the second cell and at least the third cell based on the PDCCH restriction.
[0093] In some aspects, the first cell may correspond to a scheduled cell, and wherein determining the PDCCH restriction comprises determining a PDCCH restriction corresponding to a number of BDs and CCEs in a time slot of the second cell and a time slot of the third cell. For example, carrier aggregation of cells may be scheduled by two cells.
[0094] In some aspects, determining the PDCCH restrictions includes allocating a first partial subset of the PDCCH restrictions to PDCCH candidates for the first cell received in the second cell, and allocating a second partial subset of the PDCCH restrictions to PDCCH candidates for the first cell received in the third cell, in one or more time slots of the second cell and one or more corresponding time slots of the third cell.
[0095] In some aspects, in one or more time slots of the second cell and one or more corresponding time slots of the third cell, a sum of the first portion subset and the second portion subset is equal to one.
[0096] In some aspects, the method 700 may further include configuring the UE with carrier aggregation. In one aspect, the communication component 342, for example, in conjunction with the processor(s) 312, the memory 316, and / or the transceiver 302, may be configured to configure the UE with carrier aggregation. Thus, the UE 104, the processor(s) 312, the communication component 342, or one of its subcomponents may define means for configuring the UE with carrier aggregation.
[0097] In reference to this article Figure 6 In some aspects related to the first embodiment described, determining the PDCCH restriction may include: determining that the first cell can be scheduled by the second cell and the third cell; replacing a first total number of configured downlink cells associated with the parameter set by a sum of cells according to at least one parameter associated with the scheduling cell, the scheduled cell, and the parameter set of the scheduling cell; and replacing a second total number of configured downlink cells by a different sum of cells according to at least the parameter. In other words, the PDCCH restriction determination may correspond to a replacement.
[0098] In some aspects, the first sum of cells and the second sum of cells may be cross-cell identifiers of the cells for downlink configuration of the UE.
[0099] In some aspects, the first cell may correspond to a scheduled cell scheduled by the second cell.
[0100] In some aspects, the method 700 may further include setting the parameter to zero when the first cell is not scheduled by the second cell or the parameter set of the second cell is not the set parameter set, and setting the parameter to one when the first cell is only scheduled by the second cell with the set parameter set. In one aspect, the communication component 342, for example, in combination with (multiple) processors 312, memory 316 and / or transceiver 302, can be configured to set the parameter to zero when the first cell is not scheduled by the second cell or the parameter set of the second cell is not the set parameter set, and set the parameter to one when the first cell is only scheduled by the second cell with the set parameter set. Therefore, the UE 104, (multiple) processors 312, communication component 342 or one of its subcomponents can define a component for setting the parameter to zero when the first cell is not scheduled by the second cell or the parameter set of the second cell is not the set parameter set, and setting the parameter to one when the first cell is only scheduled by the second cell with the set parameter set.
[0101] In reference to this article Figure 6 In some aspects related to the second embodiment described, the method 700 may further include determining the parameter based on one of: a network configuration for each cell pair including the first cell and the second cell, a UE report including the value of the parameter, or a UE and network calculation. In one aspect, the communication component 342, for example, in combination with the (multiple) processors 312, the memory 316 and / or the transceiver 302, may be configured to determine the parameter based on one of: a network configuration for each cell pair including the first cell and the second cell, a UE report including the value of the parameter, or a UE and network calculation. Therefore, the UE 104, the (multiple) processors 312, the communication component 342, or one of its subcomponents may define a component that determines the parameter based on one of: a network configuration for each cell pair including the first cell and the second cell, a UE report including the value of the parameter, or a UE and network calculation.
[0102] In some aspects, the UE and network calculations may be based on a set of cells and the sum of the parameters as a product of a value of one for each scheduled cell.
[0103] In some aspects, UE and network calculations may be based on parameters corresponding to proportional amounts of PDCCH configured for scheduled cells and scheduling cells.
[0104] In reference to this article Figure 6 In some aspects related to the third embodiment described, the third cell may be the same cell as the first cell, the first cell may be self-scheduled, and cross-carrier scheduled by the second cell. For example, the serving cell may be scheduled by up to two cells, one of which is the serving cell (i.e., self-scheduled).
[0105] In some aspects, for each scheduled cell, at most two cells may be scheduled, and for the scheduled cells, no more than two values of the parameter are non-zero.
[0106] In reference to this article Figure 6 In some aspects related to the fourth embodiment described, a sum of parameters associated with the first cell and the cell scheduling the first cell may be equal to one for the first cell.
[0107] In some aspects, for each cell scheduled by two cells, all non-zero values of this parameter may be the same for cross-carrier scheduling and self-scheduling, respectively.
[0108] In some aspects, determining a non-zero value of a parameter for cross-carrier scheduling, the non-zero value of a parameter for self scheduling may correspond to a difference of one from the non-zero value of the parameter for cross-carrier scheduling.
[0109] In reference to this article Figure 6 In some aspects related to the fifth embodiment described, the method 700 may also include reporting a PDCCH blind decoding capability indication when the serving cell can be scheduled by multiple cells and the UE can be configured with one or more downlink cells so that the number of configured downlink cells equal to the sum of cells including one or more parameters is greater than a threshold, wherein each parameter is associated with a scheduling cell, a scheduled cell, and a parameter set of the scheduling cell. In one aspect, the communication component 342, for example, in combination with (multiple) processors 312, memory 316 and / or transceiver 302, can be configured to report a PDCCH blind decoding capability indication when the serving cell can be scheduled by multiple cells and the UE can be configured with one or more downlink cells so that the number of configured downlink cells equal to the sum of cells including one or more parameters is greater than a threshold, wherein each parameter is associated with a scheduling cell, a scheduled cell, and a parameter set of the scheduling cell. Therefore, the UE 104, (multiple) processors 312, the communication component 342 or one of their subcomponents may define a component for reporting a PDCCH blind decoding capability indication when the serving cell can be scheduled by multiple cells and the UE can be configured with one or more downlink cells such that the number of configured downlink cells equal to the sum of the cells including one or more parameters is greater than a threshold, wherein each parameter is associated with a scheduling cell, a scheduled cell, and a parameter set of the scheduling cell.
[0110] In reference to this article Figure 6In some aspects related to the described sixth embodiment, when the PDCCH blind decoding capability indication is not reported and any serving cell is scheduled by multiple cells, the reference number of downlink cells is equal to the number of configured downlink cells, which is equal to the sum of the cells including parameters associated with the scheduling cell, the scheduled cell and the parameter set of the scheduling cell of the cell configured to the UE.
[0111] In reference to this article Figure 6 In some aspects related to the described seventh embodiment, determining a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of a number of BDs and a number of CCEs may include determining a maximum number of BDs and CCEs for one or more PDCCH candidates received in a set of cells associated with a parameter set factor.
[0112] In this article, refer to Figure 6 In some aspects related to the described eighth embodiment, determining the PDCCH restriction may include determining, based on the minimum and maximum number of PDCCH time slots, a maximum number of BDs and CCEs of a scheduled cell corresponding to the first cell monitored in a scheduling cell corresponding to the second cell and associated with a parameter set factor.
[0113] In this article, refer to Figure 6 In some aspects related to the described ninth embodiment, determining a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs may include determining a maximum number of combinations of BDs and CCEs for one or more PDCCH candidates of a scheduled cell monitored in all scheduling cells having a similar parameter set factor.

[0115] At box 722, method 700 may determine a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs based on one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in the second cell or one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in at least a third cell, the first cell being scheduled by the second cell and at least a third cell different from the second cell. In one aspect, communication component 242, for example, in combination with (multiple) processors 212, memory 216, and / or transceiver 202, may be configured to determine a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs based on one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in the second cell or one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in at least a third cell, the first cell being scheduled by the second cell and at least a third cell different from the second cell. Therefore, the base station 102, (multiple) processors 212, the communication component 242 or one of their subcomponents may define a component for determining a PDCCH restriction corresponding to at least one of the number of BDs and the number of CCEs based on one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in the second cell or one or more PDCCH candidates for the first cell monitored in at least a third cell, the first cell being scheduled by the second cell and at least a third cell different from the second cell.
[0116] At block 704, method 500 may receive one or more PDCCH transmissions for the first cell from the second cell and at least the third cell based on the PDCCH restriction. Thus, base station 102, processor(s) 212, communication component 242, or one of its subcomponents may define a component for receiving one or more PDCCH transmissions for the first cell from the second cell and at least the third cell based on the PDCCH restriction.
[0117] Figure 8 1 is a block diagram of a MIMO communication system 800 including a base station 102 and a UE 104. The MIMO communication system 800 may be illustrated with reference to Figure 1 The wireless communication access network 100 described herein may include various aspects of the wireless communication access network 100. The base station 102 may be a reference Figure 1834 and 835, and the UE 104 may be equipped with antennas 852 and 853. In the MIMO communication system 800, the base station 102 is capable of sending data on multiple communication links simultaneously. Each communication link may be referred to as a "layer", and the "rank" of the communication link may indicate the number of layers used for communication. For example, in a 2x2 MIMO communication system where the base station 102 transmits two "layers", the rank of the communication link between the base station 102 and the UE 104 is 2.
[0118] At the base station 102, a transmit (Tx) processor 820 may receive data from a data source. The transmit processor 820 may process data. The transmit processor 820 may also generate control symbols or reference symbols. The transmit MIMO processor 830 may perform spatial processing (e.g., precoding) on data symbols, control symbols, or reference symbols (if applicable), and may provide an output symbol stream to transmit modulators / demodulators 832 and 833. Each modulator / demodulator 832 to 833 may process a respective output symbol stream (e.g., for OFDM, etc.) to obtain an output sample stream. Each modulator / demodulator 832 to 833 may further process (e.g., convert to analog, amplify, filter, and up-convert) the output sample stream to obtain a DL signal. In an example, the DL signals from modulators / demodulators 832 and 833 may be transmitted via antennas 834 and 835, respectively.
[0119] UE 104 may be a reference Figure 1 and Figure 2 An example of aspects of the UE 104 described herein. At the UE 104, the UE antennas 852 and 853 may receive DL signals from the base station 102, and may provide the received signals to the modulators / demodulators 854 and 855, respectively. Each modulator / demodulator 854 to 855 may condition (e.g., filter, amplify, downconvert, and digitize) the respective received signals to obtain input samples. Each modulator / demodulator 854 to 855 may further process the input samples (e.g., for OFDM, etc.) to obtain received symbols. The MIMO detector 856 may obtain received symbols from the modulators / demodulators 854 and 855, perform MIMO detection on the received symbols (if applicable), and provide detected symbols. The receive (Rx) processor 858 may process (e.g., demodulate, deinterleave, and decode) the detected symbols, provide decoded data of the UE 104 to the data output, and provide decoded control information to the processor 880 or the memory 882.
[0120] In some cases, processor 880 may execute stored instructions to instantiate communication component 242 (see, e.g., Figure 1 and Figure 2).
[0121] On the uplink (UL), at the UE 104, a transmit processor 864 may receive and process data from a data source. The transmit processor 864 may also generate reference symbols for a reference signal. Symbols from the transmit processor 864 may be precoded by a transmit MIMO processor 866, if applicable, further processed by modulators / demodulators 854 and 855 (e.g., for SC-FDMA, etc.), and transmitted to the base station 102 based on communication parameters received from the base station 102. At the base station 102, UL signals from the UE 114 may be received by antennas 834 and 835, processed by modulators / demodulators 832 and 833, detected by a MIMO detector 836 (if applicable), and further processed by a receive processor 838. The receive processor 838 may provide decoded data to a data output and to the processor 840 or memory 842.
[0122] The components of the UE 104 may be implemented individually or collectively with one or more ASICs adapted to perform some or all applicable functions in hardware. Each of the mentioned modules may be a means for performing one or more functions related to the operation of the MIMO communication system 800. Similarly, the components of the base station 102 may be implemented individually or collectively with one or more ASICs adapted to perform some or all applicable functions in hardware. Each of the mentioned components may be a means for performing one or more functions related to the operation of the MIMO communication system 800.
