Structure of double-shaft extension motor driving two centrifugal pump units and centering method thereof

Abstract

This invention discloses a structure and alignment method for a dual-shaft extension motor driving two centrifugal pump units, relating to the field of centrifugal pump technology. The unit includes a dual-shaft extension motor, a first centrifugal pump, a second centrifugal pump, and a support frame. One end of the dual-shaft extension motor is directly connected to the first centrifugal pump via a coupling, and the other end of the dual-shaft extension motor is directly connected to the second centrifugal pump via a coupling. A support frame is provided on both sides of the first and second centrifugal pumps. Each support frame includes a base plate, a support platform, and hexagonal bolts. The support platform is located at the upper end of the base plate, and a slot is formed in the middle of the support platform. Several hexagonal bolts are also provided on the base plate, located on the outer edge of the support platform. In this invention, by fine-tuning the hexagonal bolts on the supports of the first and second centrifugal pumps, and adjusting the mounting shims and set screws on the base of the dual-shaft extension motor, the centerlines of the two centrifugal pumps and the dual-shaft extension motor can be aligned, achieving unit alignment.
