By developing a primer set of SSR molecular markers for *Pterocarya stenoptera*, the problem of scarce germplasm resources in the cultivation of *Pterocarya stenoptera* plantations has been solved, enabling source identification and genetic diversity analysis. This provides an efficient tool for source screening and breeding, and improves the breeding efficiency and diversity analysis capabilities of *Pterocarya stenoptera*.

Abstract

This invention discloses a primer set for SSR molecular markers in *Pterocarya stenoptera* and its applications. By analyzing *Pterocarya stenoptera* germplasm samples from different regions, this invention obtained SSR molecular markers that can be used for the identification of the germplasm source (property) of *Pterocarya stenoptera*. Based on this, this invention also provides a primer set for SSR molecular markers in *Pterocarya stenoptera*. This primer set can not only be used for the identification of the propagation of *Pterocarya stenoptera*, but also for the analysis of genetic diversity and the construction of genetic linkage maps, exhibiting advantages such as high polymorphism, good repeatability, marker stability, and clear and easily interpretable banding patterns. Furthermore, this invention also provides a detection kit for SSR molecular markers in *Pterocarya stenoptera*, which can be used for the identification of the propagation of *Pterocarya stenoptera*, the construction of DNA fingerprint maps, and the evaluation of genetic diversity and phylogenetic studies, thus contributing to the molecular-assisted breeding of *Pterocarya stenoptera*.
