Parcel delivery vehicles, systems, and related methods

Abstract

Parcel delivery vehicles, systems, and related methods are provided. A vehicle for parcel delivery is provided. The vehicle includes: one or more processors; a tile flooring system connected to the one or more processors, the tile flooring system comprising a plurality of tiles having actuators, the plurality of tiles individually moving containers on the tile flooring system, and in a first arrangement, a first tile is associated with a first container; at least one imaging device; and a memory. The processor: determines an identifier of a package; receiving first image data associated with the parcel from the imaging device; determining a first association of the parcel with the first container based on the first image data; determining a first delivery route comprising a first stop associated with the identifier of the package; and rearranging, by the tile flooring system, the containers into a second arrangement based on the first delivery route prior to a first stop point of the first delivery route.
