Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a console device for a vehicle, and more particularly, to a console device for a vehicle, which includes a three-stage guide rail structure having guide rails slidably coupled to each other to facilitate not only sliding of a center console but also sliding of a tray accommodated in the center console. Background Art

[0002] Generally, a center console of a vehicle is a structure provided in a space between a driver's seat and a front passenger seat in the interior of the vehicle, and serves as a storage device for items used by a driver and passengers of the vehicle while the vehicle is traveling.

[0003] In addition to storing items, the center console of this type of vehicle is also used to support the driver's arms to reduce the driver's fatigue caused by driving when the driver drives the vehicle for a long time.

[0004] A conventional center console of a vehicle includes: a center console body which is provided in the form of a box having an open upper portion and is combined with a bottom surface between a driver's seat and a front passenger seat; and a cover member which is hinged to one side of an upper end of the center console body to cover the open upper portion of the center console body.

[0005] Here, the center console main body is provided in the form of a box having an open upper portion, and thus includes a storage space for storing items.

[0006] In addition, the cover member is hinged to the side of the upper end of the center console body for opening or closing the open upper part of the center console body, and also serves as an armrest so that the driver can rest his arms thereon after closing the upper end of the center console body.

[0007] However, in the center console of the above-mentioned conventional vehicle, the position of the center console is completely fixed to the driver's seat and the front passenger seat, so it is inconvenient for passengers sitting in the rear seats to use the center console, and since there is no space between the driver's seat and the front passenger seat, the movement of the passengers is greatly restricted.

[0008] For the present purpose, a center console of a vehicle is developed which is slidably coupled to a bottom surface between a driver seat and a front passenger seat through guide rails, but since various functions have been recently added to the center console of a vehicle, the structure of the center console has become complicated due to sliding and these additional functions, and efforts are required to simplify the complicated structure of the center console.

[0044] Furthermore, in the following description of the present disclosure, when a detailed description of known functions and configurations contained herein may make the subject matter of the present disclosure rather unclear, the detailed description will be omitted.

[0045] Figure 1 is a perspective view showing a coupled state of a guide rail connection structure of a vehicle console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 2 is an exploded perspective view showing a separated state of a guide rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a detailed separated state of a rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0046] also, Figure 4 An enlarged view showing a region A of a guide rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 5A and Figure 5B is a view illustrating locking and unlocking of a second rail of a rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 6 , Figure 7 and Figure 8 1 and 2 are perspective views sequentially illustrating operating states of a rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0047] also, Fig. 9 is a view showing a rail cover of a rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig.10 is a view showing a combination between a first rail and a second rail of a rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig.11 is a view showing a mounting hole of a rail connection structure of a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig.12 is a view illustrating a mounting state of a guide rail connection structure on a console device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0048] Typically, the center console 1 of a vehicle is a structure disposed in a space between a driver's seat and a front passenger seat inside the vehicle, and may be configured so that various types of electrical and electronic components, such as a universal serial bus (USB), a shift-by-wire (SBW) system, etc., may be installed therein, and may be used as a storage device for storing items used by the vehicle driver and passengers while driving.

[0049] The center console 1 may be slidably mounted between the driver's seat and the front passenger seat to provide maximum convenience for passengers on the rear seats in a vehicle where seats are typically arranged in two or more rows, and the tray 2 may be slidably coupled to the inner side of the center console 1 to provide additional storage space.

[0050] For this reason, Fig.12 As shown, a three-level rail structure, which may also be referred to as a rail connection structure 10 , may be applied to the center console 1 , and the center console 1 and the tray 2 may include a simple structure and be easily moved by the rail connection structure 10 .

[0051] That is to say, Figure 1 , Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the console device according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure is configured so that the center console 1 and the tray 2 can be individually slidably moved through the guide rail connecting structure 10, more specifically, can be individually slidably moved through a three-level guide rail connecting structure composed of a first guide rail 100, a second guide rail 200, a first stopper 300, a tray guide rail 400 and a second stopper 500.

[0052] First, the first guide rail 100 is fixed to the vehicle body while having a designated length starting from a position between a driver's seat and a front passenger seat to connect the first row and the second row.

[0053] The second guide rail 200 is combined with the first guide rail 100 to selectively slide along the front-rear direction of the first guide rail 100, and is combined with the inner side of the center console 1 (refer to Fig.12 ).

[0054] The second guide rail 200 may be fixed at its sliding position by the first stopper 300 .

[0055] The first stopper 300 is fixedly mounted on the second guide rail 200 , slides together with the second guide rail 200 , and engages with the first guide rail 100 , thereby selectively fixing a sliding position of the second guide rail 200 .

[0056] For this reason, Figure 4 As shown, the first stopper 300 includes a body 310 , a guide rod 320 , and a rack member 330 .

[0057] like Figure 3 As shown, the main body 310 is fixedly mounted at the front position of the second guide rail 200, and the movable guide 312 protruding downward from the main body 310 passes through the second guide rail 200 and is located in the groove S of the first guide rail 100, so that the movable guide 312 guides the second guide rail 200 to slide while moving along the longitudinal direction of the groove S.

[0058] In addition, the guide rail rod 320 is combined with the inner side of the guide area 310a provided in the main body 310, and is provided to be moved by operating the control lever L (refer to Fig.12 ) is selectively movable within the guide area 310a.

[0059] More specifically, by operating the lever L of the center console 1 , the guide bar 320 may move in the front-rear direction in the guide area 310 a of the body 310 , and the position of the guide bar 320 may be fixed by a pair of elastic members 340 in the body 310 .

[0060] That is, the elastic member 340 is installed in the main body 310 and is connected to the front portion of the guide rod 320 to guide the guide rod 320 to fix the position of the guide rod 320, and the elastic member 340 can be compressed when the guide rod 320 is moved by operating the control lever L, thereby providing an elastic restoring force to the guide rod 320 to return the guide rod 320 to its initial position.

[0061] The initial position of the guide rail rod 320 is defined as a position where the pair of rack members 330 are spaced apart from each other by the guide rail rod 320 (refer to Figure 4 ). When the guide bar 320 is moved from the initial position by operating the control lever L, the elastic member 340 is compressed and the rack members 330 are located adjacent to each other in the direction facing each other, and when the operation of the control lever L is completed, the guide bar 320 is moved by the elastic restoring force of the elastic member 340 and the rack members 330 return to their initial positions spaced apart from each other due to the shape of the front portion of the guide bar 320.

[0062] Here, the rack members 330 having shapes corresponding to the shapes of the front left and right sides of the guide bar 320 are provided as a pair and are configured to selectively move in directions facing each other as the guide bar 320 is moved by the control rod L.

[0063] In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the guide rail bar 320 may include a protrusion 350 .

[0064] The rack members 330 are formed so that one side of each of the rack members 330 that contacts the front portion of the guide rod 320 is inclined in a direction corresponding to another of the rack members 330, so that when the guide rod 320 moves, the guide rod 320 deviates from the space between the rack members 330 due to the inclined shape of the guide rod 320 and the rack members 330 are adjacent to each other, and conversely, when the guide rod 320 returns to its initial position, the guide rod 320 pushes the rack members 330 through the corresponding inclined surfaces (i.e., the protrusions 350 of the guide rod 320), so that the rack members 330 are spaced apart from each other by the protrusions 350.

[0065] like Figure 5A and Figure 5B As shown, the rack members 330 arranged in pairs include a coupling protrusion 332, which extends downward in a direction toward the first guide rail 100 (refer to Figure 3 ), and is formed in a sawtooth shape on the outer surface of the rack member 330.

[0066] Furthermore, the first guide rail 100 includes a coupling guide 102 formed in a sawtooth shape corresponding to the coupling protrusion 332 and guides the second guide rail 200 to fix a sliding position of the second guide rail 200 when the coupling protrusion 332 is selectively engaged with the coupling guide 102 .

[0067] When the guide rail rod 320 moves and the rack members 330 are adjacent to each other by the elastic restoring force of the spring 322, the engagement state between the coupling protrusion 332 and the coupling guide 102 is released, and thus, the second guide rail 200 can slide freely (refer to Figure 5B ), on the contrary, when the guide rail rod 320 returns to its initial position, the spring 322 is compressed, and the rack members 330 are spaced apart from each other, the coupling protrusion 332 and the coupling guide 102 are engaged with each other, and thus, the second guide rail 200 cannot slide (refer to Figure 5A ).

[0068] That is to say, Figure 6 and Figure 7As shown, when the second guide rail 200 slides along the first guide rail by operating the control lever L in the initial state, the guide rail rod 320 moves and the rack members 330 are adjacent to each other, that is, the engagement state between the coupling protrusion 332 and the coupling guide 102 is released (refer to Figure 5B ), and thus, the second guide rail 200 can slide. Therefore, when the operation of the control lever L of the center console 1 is released, the guide rail rod 320 returns to its initial position, and the rack members 330 are spaced apart from each other, and the coupling protrusion 332 and the coupling guide 102 are in an engaged state (refer to Figure 5A ), thus, the second guide rail 200 cannot slide.

[0069] Through the above-mentioned structure in the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the second guide rail 200 can slide only when the control lever L is operated, and cannot slide when the operation of the control lever L is released. Therefore, problems caused by the free movement of the second guide rail 200 in various driving situations, such as the collision of the second guide rail 200 with the passenger and the resulting injury to the passenger, can be prevented.

[0070] The tray rail 400 is combined with the rear position of the second rail 200 to slide in the front-rear direction, and is combined with the tray 2 provided in the center console 1 to provide an additional storage space, such as Fig. 9 shown.

[0071] A guide rail cover 410 may be installed on each of the two sides of the tray guide rail 400 (see Figure 2 and Figure 3 ), and the guide rail cover 410 shields the side of the tray guide rail 400 that is exposed due to the tray guide rail 400 being drawn out to the outside of the center console 1 together with the tray 2, and thus foreign matter can be prevented from being introduced into the guide rail connecting structure 10 installed in the center console 1.

[0072] In addition, if Figure 8 As shown, the tray rail 400, the first rail 100, and the second rail 200 may form a three-level rail structure in the center console 1, and allow the tray 2 to be additionally withdrawn.

[0073] Here, the second stopper 500 is installed on the tray rail 400 , slides together with the tray rail 400 , and is engaged with the second rail 200 , thereby selectively fixing a sliding position of the tray rail 400 .

[0074] For this reason, Figure 3 As shown, the second stopper 500 includes a main body 510 and an engaging member 520 .

[0075] The main body 510 is fixedly mounted on the tray rail 400 , and slides on the second rail 200 together with the tray rail 400 .

[0076] In addition, the engaging piece 520 extends from the main body 510 toward the second guide rail 200 and engages with a pair of guide grooves provided in the second guide rail 200 to be movable according to the length of the guide grooves, thereby being configured to prevent the tray guide rail 400 from being separated from the center console 1 when the tray guide rail 400 is pulled out due to its sliding.

[0077] The buffer member 530 formed of an elastic material may be mounted on the engagement piece 520 , and the buffer member 530 is configured to absorb a shock caused by a collision when the engagement piece 520 is engaged with the front or rear portion of the guide groove.

[0078] Therefore, when the tray 2 is suddenly withdrawn from the center console 1 or pushed into the center console 1 , the buffer member 530 may absorb the shock, and thus the tray 2 may be prevented from being damaged.

[0079] like Figure 3 As shown, the first guide rail 100 may have a wheel member 110 configured to support a guide rail member 210 extending downward from the second guide rail 200 and rotate by movement of the guide rail member 210 to guide sliding of the second guide rail 200 .

[0080] like Fig.10 As shown, the wheel members 110 are provided in pairs to support each of both sides of the guide rail member 210 to guide the sliding of the guide rail member 210 , and are rotatably mounted in the mounting hole H formed in the first guide rail 100 .

[0081] Here, if Fig.11 As shown, the mounting holes H may be provided in plurality, such that the distances between each pair of mounting holes H are different, and the wheel member 110 may be installed in a selected pair of mounting holes H, such that the installation position of the wheel member 110 is variable.

[0082] When the wheel members 110 are mounted in the pair of mounting holes H having the longest interval, the overlap amount of the rail members 210 is relatively reduced, and thus, the operating force of the second rail 200 becomes lighter.

[0083] On the other hand, when the wheel member 110 is mounted in the pair of mounting holes H having the shortest interval, the overlap amount of the rail member 210 is relatively increased, and thus, the operating force of the second rail 200 becomes heavier.

[0084] Therefore, when the distance between the mounting holes H facing each other and arranged in pairs is selected to set the operating force of the second guide rail 200 and the wheel member 110 is installed in the selected mounting hole H, the operating force of the second guide rail 200 can be changed, so that the operating force of the second guide rail 200 depending on the sliding of the center console 1 can be set according to the user's requirements.

[0085] In the same manner, the above-mentioned wheel member 110 can also be installed on the second guide rail 200. Therefore, when the wheel member 110 is installed in a selected pair of mounting holes H among a plurality of mounting holes H formed in the second guide rail 200 so that the distance between each pair of mounting holes H is different, the operating force of the tray guide rail 400 depending on the sliding of the tray 2 can also be set.

[0086] The present disclosure provides a vehicle console device, which adopts a three-stage rail structure having rails slidably coupled to each other to facilitate not only the sliding of a center console but also the sliding of a tray accommodated in the center console, thereby simplifying the sliding structure and improving the convenience of use.

[0087] Furthermore, the present disclosure not only provides a sliding structure of the center console and the tray, but also provides a locking structure of the center console and the tray, thereby being configured to adjust the sliding positions of the center console and the tray.

[0088] Furthermore, the present disclosure adopts a guide wheel structure including adjustable spacing, so that the sliding speed of the center console and the tray can be selectively adjusted when the center console and the tray slide, thereby being configured to control the operating force of the center console and the tray.

[0089] As is apparent from the above description, the present disclosure provides a console device for a vehicle, which adopts a three-level guide rail structure including guide rails slidably coupled to each other, so as to facilitate not only the sliding of the center console but also the sliding of a tray accommodated in the center console, thereby simplifying the sliding structure and improving the convenience of use.

[0090] Furthermore, the present disclosure not only provides a sliding structure of the center console and the tray, but also provides a locking structure of the center console and the tray, thereby being configured to adjust the sliding positions of the center console and the tray.

[0091] Furthermore, the present disclosure adopts a guide wheel structure including adjustable spacing, so that the sliding speed of the center console and the tray can be selectively adjusted when the center console and the tray slide, thereby being configured to control the operating force of the center console and the tray.
