[0020] With reference to the above-mentioned figures, a finger anti-stress device, in particular a finger anti-stress device wearable on a finger, is generally indicated by reference numeral 1. For the sake of clarity and ease of description, in the rest of this discussion, the finger wearable anti-stress device will be referred to simply as an anti-stress device.
[0021] According to the invention, the anti-stress device 1 comprises a ring 3 and a body 10 .
[0022] The ring 3 extends along and around the axis of rotation Y and delimits a finger seat 300 suitable for at least partially housing a finger of a user.
[0023] In the present discussion, the term "ring" refers to, but is not limited to, an object having a substantially annular body, preferably substantially symmetrical and centrally hollow, with a fully open cavity or a blind or partially blind cavity.
[0024] A ring seat 23 is formed in the body 10 in which the ring 3 is rotatably engaged relative to the body 10 to allow the body 10 to rotate freely relative to the ring 3 and around said axis of rotation Y due to a torque applied to the ring 3 by the user's fingers.
[0025] Preferably, the ring seat 23 is a through cavity formed in the body 10 .
[0026] In one embodiment, the ring 3 is engaged in the ring seat 23 by means of a magnetic coupling.
[0027] The anti-stress device 1 further comprises a power supply device 90, such as a battery, and a revolution counter sensor 40 powered by the power supply device 90. The revolution counter sensor 40 rotates integrally with the body 10 or with the ring 3 and is configured to count the number of complete relative rotations between the ring 3 and the body 10.
[0028] It is clear that the term “counting” refers to, but is not limited to, the fact that the revolution counter sensor 40 is configured to generate a full rotation signal at each full relative rotation between the ring 3 and the body 10 .
[0029] Preferably, the revolution counter sensor 40 comprises an electronic unit (such as an electronic circuit or a logic unit) configured to receive the complete revolution signal generated by the revolution counter sensor 40 .
[0030] In one embodiment, the electronic unit is configured to process the complete rotation signal to generate an increment of a certain value of the number of revolutions which is preferably stored in the memory unit.
[0031] In a second embodiment, the electronic control unit is configured to process the full rotation signal to transform the full rotation signal into an activation command for an observation system or an auxiliary notification system (e.g., auditory or visual), which will be described later in this discussion with reference to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
[0032] That is, in this embodiment, the full rotation signal is directly converted into an activation command without numerically increasing the value of the number of revolutions.
[0033] The power supply device 90 is housed in the body 10 and / or on the ring 3 .
[0034] In other words, when the user inserts his / her finger into the finger seat 300 and applies a rotational thrust on the anti-stress device 1 with the same finger inserted into the finger seat 300 , the body 10 rotates around the ring 3 .
[0035] According to one embodiment, for example Figure 1a As shown, the power supply device 90 includes a battery accommodated in the main body 10 .
[0036] According to one embodiment, the power supply device comprises a system for converting mechanical power into electricity. For example, the conversion system comprises a generator configured to convert the relative rotational movement between the ring 3 and the body 10 into electricity. According to one embodiment, the conversion system is directly connected for powering the revolution counter sensor 40. According to a variant, the conversion system is connected to a battery so that the generated electricity charges the battery.
[0037] It is clear to a person skilled in the art that when the conversion system includes a generator, it is possible for the conversion system as well as the power device to be partially housed on the ring 3 and partially housed in the body, for example the magnets of the generator are located on the ring 3 and the windings are located on the body, or vice versa.
[0038] In other words, the conversion system makes it possible to obtain a self-powered or self-charging anti-stress device 1 due to the same rotational movement.
[0039] Preferably, refer to Figures 5 to 7 In the exemplary embodiment shown, the ring 3 consists of a cylindrical body.
[0040] In one embodiment, the finger seat 300 is preferably a through cavity of the ring 3 .
[0041] In an alternative embodiment, the finger seat 300 is a blind cavity of the ring 3 , ie the finger seat 300 of the ring 3 is a cavity that is closed on one side.
[0042] In a preferred embodiment, for example Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the revolution counter sensor 40 is included in the main body 10 and is integrated therewith.
[0043] In an alternative embodiment, the revolution counter sensor 40 is placed on the ring 3 and is integral therewith.
[0044] In a preferred embodiment, the anti-stress device 1 comprises a counting rod 41 operatively connected to a revolution counter sensor 40 .
[0045] According to this embodiment, the ring 3 comprises an activation tooth 31 which protrudes outwardly from the ring, i.e. on the opposite side relative to the finger seat 300, so that when the user applies a torque on the ring 3 with a finger, thereby rotating the operating body 10 around the ring 3, the activation tooth 31 is suitable for triggering the counting rod 41 at each rotation, so that the revolution counter sensor 40 is configured to increase the count of the rotations each time the counting rod 41 is activated.
[0046] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, counting rod 41 is shaped so as to be activated only when rotation occurs in one direction about axis of rotation Y, but not in both directions of rotation.
[0047] Preferably, refer to Figure 8 In the example of FIG. 4 , counting rod 41 is provided with a ramp surface 401 adapted to come into contact with activation tooth 31 during a relative rotation between body 10 and ring 3 .
[0048] Furthermore, preferably, the counting rod 41 is elastically engaged with the revolution counter sensor 40, so that the activation tooth 31 activates the counting rod at each rotation by pressing the counting rod 41 to switch from the protruding configuration to the pressing configuration when engaging with the ramp surface 401. Furthermore, once the activation tooth 31 is no longer in a position to activate the counting rod 41, the counting rod 41 is adapted to return to the protruding configuration due to the elastic engagement with the revolution counter sensor 40.
[0049] In a preferred embodiment, by means of the elastic engagement and the shape of the counting rod 41 , counting can be activated in only one rotational direction.
[0050] In this preferred embodiment, reference Figure 8 In the example in FIG. 4 , the counting rod 41 preferably includes an abutment surface 402 incident on the slope surface 401 .
[0051] The abutment surface 402 is a curved surface or a linear surface adapted to abut against the activating tooth 31 .
[0052] In particular, when the counting rod 41 is in the protruding configuration, if the rotation of the body 10 around the ring 3 occurs in a first direction, the activation tooth 31 is adapted to compress the ramp surface 401, pressing the rod and triggering the counting of the revolution counter sensor 40. On the other hand, if the rotation of the body 10 around the ring 3 occurs in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the activation tooth 31 is adapted to abut against the abutment surface 402 and does not allow the ramp surface 401 to be compressed.
[0053] In this embodiment, the counting of the number of revolutions is only permitted in one direction of rotation (clockwise or counterclockwise), depending on the positioning of the counting rod 41 .
[0054] In an alternative embodiment, counting of revolutions is permitted in both directions of rotation.
[0055] According to this embodiment of the invention, the revolution counter sensor 40 comprises an electronic encoder, preferably an angular encoder, suitable for detecting the relative rotation between the ring 3 and the body 10 .
[0056] Preferably, in such an embodiment, the ring 3 does not comprise any activation tooth 31 .
[0057] In an advantageous variant embodiment, for example Figures 5 to 7 As shown, the ring 3 extends along and around the rotation axis Y between an upper end 350 and a lower end 350 ′, and comprises an upper enlarged portion 35 at the upper end 350 and a lower enlarged portion 35 ′ at the lower end 350 ′.
[0058] Furthermore, in this variant embodiment, the ring 3 comprises a narrow central portion 36 between the upper enlarged portion 35 and the lower enlarged portion 35 ′.
[0059] The thickness of the upper and lower enlarged portions 35 , 35 ′ extending radially with respect to the axis of rotation Y is greater than the thickness of the narrow central portion 36 .
[0060] Preferably, as in Figure 7 In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 , the activation teeth 31 protrude outwardly from the side walls 360 of the narrow central portion 36 .
[0061] Furthermore, preferably, the teeth 31 are made in one piece with the ring 3. That is, the teeth 31 are integrally formed with the ring 3 in one piece.
[0062] In one embodiment of the present invention, referring to Figure 5 and Figure 6 In the embodiment of the present invention, the upper enlarged portion 35 and the lower enlarged portion 35' each include a corresponding annular protrusion 370, 370'.
[0063] In this embodiment, and as Figure 3 As shown in the example, and Figure 4 As better depicted in the enlarged view in , the ring seat 23 is defined by an upper seat edge 230 and a lower seat edge 230 ′, suitable for abutting against corresponding annular protrusions 370 , 370 ′ of the ring 3 to prevent axial sliding of the ring 3 in the ring seat 23 along the rotation axis Y.
[0064] According to a preferred variant embodiment, and as in Figure 2 As can be seen in the exemplary embodiment in , the anti-stress device furthermore comprises a viewing system 5 (preferably a display) which is operatively connected to the revolution counter sensor 40 and is suitable for digitally displaying the number of rotations counted by the revolution counter sensor 40 .
[0065] Furthermore, in the preferred embodiment, the body 10 includes a hook member 26 adapted to hook one or more keys.
[0066] Advantageously, this embodiment allows the anti-stress device 1 to be used both as a key chain and as a toy. Advantageously, in fact, the body 10 can rotate around the ring 3 even when a key is hooked to the hook member 26 .
[0067] In a preferred embodiment, and as in Figure 1a In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1 , the anti-stress device 1 includes an auxiliary viewing system 6 (preferably an LED strip) operatively connected to a revolution counter sensor 40. The auxiliary viewing system 6 is configured to provide a graphical representation of the user's stress level based on the number of rotations counted by the revolution counter sensor 40.
[0068] In a preferred embodiment, the anti-stress device 1 comprises an observation system 5 and an auxiliary observation system 6 .
[0069] Preferably, the viewing system 5 and the auxiliary viewing system 6 are placed on the same side of the anti-stress device 1. That is, the user sees both viewing systems from a single viewing angle.
[0070] Alternatively, and with reference to Figure 1a and Figure 1b In the exemplary embodiment shown, the viewing system 5 and the auxiliary viewing system 6 are positioned on opposite sides of the anti-stress device 1. That is, the user sees the viewing system 5 from a first perspective and sees the auxiliary viewing system 6 from a second perspective. In other words, in order to switch from seeing the viewing system 5 to seeing the auxiliary viewing system 6, the user must flip the anti-stress device 1.
[0071] The auxiliary viewing system 6 is configured to display a first color 8 when the number of rotations counted by the revolution counter sensor 40 is less than a predetermined threshold, and to display a second color 9 when the number of rotations counted by the revolution counter sensor 40 is higher than the predetermined threshold.
[0072] In addition, preferably, reference Figure 1a The auxiliary viewing system 6 is configured to display a first color 8 , a second color 9 , and a third color 9 ′ according to the number of rotations counted by the revolution counter sensor 4 .
[0073] Furthermore, preferably, the revolution counter sensor 40 is configured to be automatically reset, preferably once every 24 hours.
[0074] Alternatively or additionally, the revolution counter sensor 40 is configured to be reset manually by the user at his will.
[0075] Preferably, when the revolution counter sensor 40 is configured to automatically reset, for example, the auxiliary viewing system 6 is a color bar configured to light up according to the number of rotations detected by the revolution counter sensor 40, for example, displaying green, yellow and red, wherein each color indicates a certain stress level. For example, when the number of rotations in a day exceeds a certain upper threshold, the color bar lights up according to the number of rotations detected by the revolution counter sensor 40 to display red, indicating a high level of stress. On the contrary, when the number of rotations in a day does not reach a certain lower threshold, the color bar lights up according to the number of rotations detected by the revolution counter sensor 40 to display green, indicating a low stress level.
[0076] Preferably, when the number of rotations in a day is between the lower threshold and the upper threshold, the color bar lights up according to the number of rotations detected by the revolution counter sensor 40 to show yellow, indicating a medium stress level.
[0077] In one embodiment, the body 10 extends around the ring 3. In other words, the entire circumference of the ring 3 is at least partially surrounded by the body 10.
[0078] In other words, the side wall 360 of the ring 3 always faces the body 10 at least partially along the circumference.
[0079] In one embodiment, the ring 3 always remains coupled to the body 10. Preferably, the ring 3 may not be separated from the body 10 during rotation. That is, the ring 3 remains coupled to the body 10 even during rotation.
[0080] Advantageously, this variant avoids the loss of parts of the anti-stress means while preventing possible damage due to the separation of the ring from the body during rotation.
[0081] In a preferred embodiment, the main body 10 includes a housing 2 .
[0082] In one embodiment, the housing 2 includes a printed circuit board 4 operatively connected to a revolution counter sensor 40 .
[0083] In an advantageous variant, reference is made to Figure 1a and Figure 1b The exemplary embodiment shown is in an assembled state and Figure 9a and Figure 9b In the exemplary embodiment shown in a single-piece state, the housing 2 is composed of a first housing part 21 and a second housing part 22 that are assembled together.
[0084] Preferably, in this variant, the ring seat 23 is formed partially in the first housing part 21 and partially in the second housing part 22. In other words, the ring 3 engaged in the ring seat 23 is engaged with the first housing part 21 and partially with the second housing part 22.
[0085] Preferably, the first housing part 21 and the second housing part 22 are glued together or attached to each other by interlocking.
[0086] In an advantageous embodiment, the housing 2 and the ring 3 are made completely of hard plastic.
[0087] Preferably, refer to Figure 3 and Figure 4 In the example shown in FIG. 4 , the housing 2 comprises an outer wall 20 which defines an inner cavity 200 containing the printed circuit board 4 .
[0088] Furthermore, preferably, the outer wall 20 of the housing 2 comprises an inner housing surface 210 having one or more locking ridges 250 which constrain the printed circuit board 4 in the inner cavity 200 so that the printed circuit board 4 is locked inside said inner cavity 200 even during the rotation of the body 10 around the ring 3. In other words, during the rotation of the body 10 around the ring 3, these locking ridges 250 keep the circuit board 4 in the same position, i.e. keep it fixed.
[0089] In a configuration in which the revolution counter sensor 40 is configured to be reset, the printed circuit board 4 includes a reset command, and an auxiliary opening 290 adapted to allow access to the reset command from the printed circuit board 4 is formed on the body 2 .
[0090] In a preferred embodiment, the housing 2 completely surrounds the ring 3 in the ring seat 23 .
[0091] In addition, refer to Figure 1a and Figure 1b In a preferred embodiment, the housing 2 includes an elongated portion 270 protruding laterally relative to the ring seat 23 , ie the ring seat 23 is formed in the body 10 on the opposite side relative to the elongated portion 270 .
[0092] Advantageously, this preferred embodiment allows the user to effectively effect rotation of the body 10 relative to the ring 3, also acting as a mass and generating a flywheel effect to facilitate rotation, without the need to apply high torque.
[0093] Preferably, the ring 3 is located at one end of the body 10. In other words, preferably, the ring 3 is located away from the center of the body 10.
[0094] That is, preferably, a centre of mass of the anti-stress device 1 is defined which is not situated on the axis of rotation Y. In other words, preferably, the ring 3 is offset from the centre of gravity of the anti-stress device 1 .
[0095] Advantageously, this allows the anti-stress device to be conveniently operated with one hand and less torque is applied to the ring to keep the body rotating. This also further increases the flywheel effect that promotes the rotation of the device.
[0096] Furthermore, preferably, when the anti-stress device 1 is also configured to be used as a key chain, the hook member 26 protrudes from the main body 10 at the elongated portion 270 of the body 2 .
[0097] Furthermore, preferably, the hook member 26 is integral with the housing 2 .
[0098] This configuration further increases the flywheel effect which is greatly enhanced by the presence of the key hanging from the hook member 26 .
[0099] Preferably, there is a gap between the ring 3 and the ring seat 23 .
[0100] Even more preferably, the gap is suitable for being at least partially filled with a lubricant to facilitate the relative rotation between the ring 3 and the body 10 .
[0101] Thus, advantageously, relative rotation between the body 10 and the ring 3 is allowed without the need for an intermediate bearing. Clearly, a person skilled in the art can still provide an intermediate bearing to allow relative rotation between the parts without departing from the scope of protection of the present invention.
[0102] In a preferred embodiment, the upper and lower enlarged portions 35 , 35 ′ of the ring 3 comprise curved surfaces 30 that are seamlessly connected to the outer wall 20 of the housing 2 .
[0103] Advantageously, this shape, besides giving the product an aesthetically pleasing appearance, also provides it with better ergonomics, making it more practical.
[0104] Furthermore, preferably, the ring has a smooth inner surface without roughness so that a finger can be inserted into the finger rest 300 without causing discomfort to the user.
[0105] Preferably, the housing 2 has design features or is covered with a printed film having a decorative pattern depicted thereon.
[0106] In a preferred embodiment, the anti-stress device 1 further comprises an optical signal device, such as an LED or a laser emitter, mounted on the ring 3 or the body 10 , which is suitable for emitting light during the rotation of the body 10 relative to the ring 3 .
[0107] That is, in a preferred embodiment, the anti-stress device 1 is equipped with an additional light that generates a light game intermittently or continuously or with color changes depending on the rotational actuation of the body 10 relative to the ring 3 by the user.
[0108] In a variant embodiment, the anti-stress device 1 comprises additional sensors mounted on the ring 3 or on the body 10, suitable for detecting vital parameters of the individual using the device, such as respiratory rate, heart rate, blood saturation and blood pressure.
[0109] For example, the additional sensors include a heart rate monitor and / or a pressure sensor and / or a sensor configured to detect saturation levels.
[0110] Innovatively, the finger-wearable anti-stress device according to the present invention makes it possible to solve all the disadvantages of the anti-stress devices of the prior art.
[0111] Advantageously, the anti-stress device according to the invention has a simple design comprising a limited number of components.
[0112] Furthermore, advantageously, the anti-stress device according to the present invention can be used with only one hand and thus allows the user to free up the other hand to perform other activities.
[0113] According to another advantage, the anti-stress device according to the invention allows tracking the use of the anti-stress device by using a revolution counter sensor.
[0114] Furthermore, the counts processed by the revolution counter sensor are advantageously effectively displayed to the user digitally, for example by means of a display with digits and / or graphically, for example by means of an LED strip or a color bar.
[0115] Furthermore, advantageously, the anti-stress device is suitable for various applications, such as a key chain, by means of the hook member.
[0116] Furthermore, advantageously, thanks to the shape of the ring and the body being continuously connected, the anti-stress device is ergonomic and convenient to use.
[0117] It is clear that for the above-mentioned embodiments of the anti-stress device, in order to meet specific needs, a person skilled in the art can modify or replace the components with functionally equivalent components. Such modifications are also included in the scope of protection defined by the attached claims. In addition, each modification described as belonging to a possible embodiment can be implemented independently of the other modifications described.
