[0023] In order to more clearly illustrate the present invention, the present invention is further described below in conjunction with preferred embodiments and accompanying drawings. Similar components in the accompanying drawings are represented by the same reference numerals. It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the content specifically described below is illustrative rather than restrictive, and should not be used to limit the scope of protection of the present invention.

[0024] It should be noted that the terms “on…”, “formed on…” and “disposed on…” described herein may indicate that one layer is directly formed or disposed on another layer, or may indicate that one layer is indirectly formed or disposed on another layer, i.e., there are other layers between the two layers. In this article, unless otherwise specified, the term “located on the same layer” used means that two layers, parts, components, elements or parts can be formed by the same patterning process, and the two layers, parts, components, elements or parts are generally formed of the same material. In this article, unless otherwise specified, the expression “patterning process” generally includes steps such as coating, exposure, development, etching and stripping of photoresist. The expression “one-time patterning process” means a process of forming patterned layers, parts, components, etc. using a mask.

[0025] In view of the above situation, the inventors have proposed after extensive research and experiments that the reason why the display device has the problem of back light leakage and the problem of reduced sensitivity of the photoelectric sensor is that, Figure 1As shown, the OLED display device includes a substrate 10, a driving circuit layer 20, a light-emitting functional layer 30, an encapsulation layer 40, a cover plate 50 and a photoelectric sensor 60 arranged on the substrate 10 away from the light-emitting side. The ambient light 70 in the sensor area is incident on the photoelectric sensor 60 through the optical path so as to facilitate the photoelectric sensor to sense light. However, since there are multiple film layers in the encapsulation layer 40 and the refractive indices of the multiple film layers are different, when the outgoing light is emitted, there is a situation from the optically dense medium layer to the optically sparse medium layer. The outgoing light at certain angles is fully emitted on the encapsulation layer, reflected to the inside of the display device, and emitted from the backlight side of the display device through the optical channel for the photoelectric sensor to sense light, which interferes with the photosensitivity of the photoelectric sensor and causes light leakage from the back.

[0026] According to the above problems and the causes of the problems, such as Figure 2 As shown, an embodiment of the present invention provides a display substrate, including a display area, the display area includes a sensor area, the sensor area is arranged corresponding to a photoelectric sensor arranged on a non-light-emitting side of the display substrate, the display substrate includes a driving circuit layer 20, a light-emitting function layer 30 and an encapsulation layer 40 stacked in sequence on a substrate 10, the light-emitting function layer 30 includes a pixel defining layer 32,

[0027] The pixel defining layer 32 of the sensor area includes a first opening 321 and a reflective portion 322 disposed between two adjacent first openings 321 , wherein a light emitting device layer is disposed in the first opening 321 , the reflective portion has at least one refractive index, and the refractive index of the reflective portion 322 is different from the refractive index of the pixel defining layer 32 .

[0028] In this embodiment, if Figure 2As shown, the display substrate includes a substrate 10, a driving circuit layer 20, a light-emitting functional layer 30, an encapsulation layer 40 and a cover plate 50 stacked in sequence on the substrate 10, wherein the light-emitting functional layer 30 includes an anode 31 arranged on the driving circuit layer, a pixel defining layer 32 partially covering the anode and the exposed driving circuit layer, the pixel defining layer 32 includes a first opening 321 and a reflective portion 322, a light-emitting material layer 33 arranged in the first opening 321, and a cathode 34 covering the light-emitting material layer 33 and the pixel defining layer 32. The encapsulation layer 40 includes a first inorganic encapsulation layer 41, an organic encapsulation layer 42 and a second inorganic encapsulation layer 43 stacked in sequence on the light-emitting functional layer 30, and the refractive index of the organic encapsulation layer 42 is less than the refractive index of the first inorganic encapsulation layer 41. When the light emitted by the light-emitting functional layer 30 passes through the interface between the first inorganic encapsulation layer 41 and the organic encapsulation layer 42, that is, enters the optically sparse dielectric layer from the optically dense dielectric layer, when the incident angle of the emitted light entering the interface is greater than the critical angle, total reflection occurs at the interface, and when the incident angle of the emitted light entering the interface is less than or equal to the critical angle, partial reflection of the light also occurs. Therefore, part of the emitted light is reflected back into the display substrate, which, on the one hand, results in a low light extraction efficiency of the display substrate, and on the other hand, part of the reflected light enters the photoelectric sensor through the photosensitive channel, interferes with the photoelectric sensor and reduces the sensitivity of the photoelectric sensor.

[0029] In this embodiment, the reflecting portion is arranged in the pixel defining layer between two adjacent first openings, that is, the reflecting portion is arranged in the non-opening area between two adjacent sub-pixels. The reflecting portion is arranged in the pixel defining layer in the sensor area of the display substrate, and the reflecting portion has a refractive index different from that of the pixel defining layer. In particular, the reflecting portion has at least one refractive index, so that the light reflected on the interface of the packaging layer to the inside of the display substrate is further reflected in the reflecting portion, thereby changing the direction of the output light of the display substrate, effectively improving the light output efficiency of the display substrate, improving the back light leakage problem caused by reflection of the packaging layer, and improving the sensitivity of the ambient light sensor.

[0030] At the same time, considering the photosensitive channel of the photoelectric sensor arranged on the backlight side of the display substrate, in an optional embodiment, the orthographic projection of the reflecting portion 322 on the substrate 10 does not overlap with the orthographic projection of the first opening 321 on the substrate 10, that is, there is a light-transmitting pixel defining layer between the reflecting portion 322 and the first opening 321 as part of the photosensitive channel, thereby transmitting the incident ambient light.

[0031] In another optional embodiment, the reflective portion is a structure formed in the second opening of the pixel defining layer, and in a direction perpendicular to the substrate, the thickness of the pixel defining layer between the first opening and the reflective portion is greater than or equal to the thickness of the reflective portion; that is, the thickness of the reflective portion 322 is less than or equal to the thickness of the pixel defining layer 32.

[0032] In an optional embodiment, the reflective portion is a pixel defining layer doped with photorefractive crystals, and the reflective portion forms different refractive indices according to incident light received by the photorefractive crystals.

[0033] In this embodiment, reflective parts with different refractive indices are formed by doping photorefractive crystals in the pixel defining layer material, and different refractive indices are formed according to different received light by utilizing the characteristic that the refractive index of the photorefractive crystal changes unevenly after being irradiated with light; due to the refractive index difference between the pixel defining layer and the undoped photorefractive crystal, the light reflected by the encapsulation layer can be reflected on the interface of the reflective part and continue to be emitted from the light emitting side, that is, the light reflected by the encapsulation layer is reflected again on the reflective part to change the propagation direction and is emitted from the light emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference with the photoelectric sensor.

[0034] Specifically, the effective refractive index of the photorefractive crystal is:

[0035]

[0036] Where n0 is the initial value of the gradient refractive index, n f is the final value of the gradient refractive index, a is the thickness of the gradient layer, n po is the undisturbed refractive index of the photorefractive crystal when it is not irradiated with light, γ eff is the effective electro-optic coefficient, k B is the Boltzmann constant, T is the temperature, I d is the dark current, x is the variable, I' is the intermediate current, I is the current, and e is the natural logarithm base.

[0037] It is worth noting that the photorefractive crystal forms different refractive indices according to the light radiation formed by the incident light. The incident light can be strong light or weak light, both of which can form light radiation to the photorefractive crystal.

[0038] In this embodiment, the photorefractive crystal is barium titanate, potassium niobate or potassium tantalate niobate with a perovskite structure, or sodium barium niobate, barium strontium niobate or potassium sodium strontium barium niobate with a tungsten bronze structure.

[0039] In an optional embodiment, the reflective portion is a pixel defining layer including a microporous structure, and the reflective portion forms different refractive indices according to different porosities of the microporous structure.

[0040] In this embodiment, a microporous structure is formed in the non-opening area of the pixel defining layer and the refractive index change caused by the microporous structure is utilized to realize the re-reflection of the reflected light from the encapsulation layer, thereby changing the propagation direction of the light and continuing to emit light from the light emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference with the photoelectric sensor.

[0041] Specifically, when the microporous structure is a cylindrical pore, the effective refractive index of the reflective portion having the microporous structure is:

[0042]

[0043] Among them, n eff is the effective refractive index, ε eff is the effective dielectric constant, and ε0 is the dielectric constant of vacuum.

[0044] It is worth noting that the effective refractive index of the microporous structure is only related to the porosity, and has nothing to do with the film thickness, pore shape and distribution. When the porosity of the microporous structure is different, different refractive indices are formed. Due to the difference in refractive index between the reflective part and the pixel defining layer, the light reflected by the encapsulation layer can be reflected on the interface of the reflective part, that is, the light reflected by the encapsulation layer is reflected again on the reflective part to change the propagation direction and emit light from the light-emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light-emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference with the photoelectric sensor.

[0045] It should be noted that this embodiment is only used to illustrate the specific implementation method of the present application. The present application does not specifically limit the pore shape of the microporous structure, which can be circular, triangular, rectangular, or polygonal. Those skilled in the art should select the appropriate pore shape according to the actual application requirements, which will not be elaborated here.

[0046] In an optional embodiment, the reflective portion is combined with a doped photorefractive crystal and a microporous structure, and the reflective portion forms different refractive indices according to different porosities of the microporous structure and according to incident light received by the photorefractive crystal.

[0047] In this embodiment, the reflective part is doped with photorefractive crystals and a microporous structure is formed, and the reflective part has different refractive indices. The light reflected by the encapsulation layer can be reflected on the interface of the reflective part, that is, the light reflected by the encapsulation layer is reflected again on the reflective part to change the propagation direction and emit light from the light-emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light-emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference with the photoelectric sensor. Those skilled in the art should understand that the effective refractive index of the reflective part is calculated based on the specific structure of the reflective part, which will not be repeated here.

[0048] Further, based on the above embodiment, in an optional embodiment, as Figure 3 As shown, the reflective portion includes a plurality of reflective sub-portions of a honeycomb structure, and the porosity of the microporous structures of adjacent reflective sub-portions is different.

[0049] In this embodiment, the reflective portion is provided with a honeycomb structure, and each reflective sub-portion in the honeycomb structure has different porosities, thereby forming multiple refractive indices in the reflective portion, such as Figure 3 As shown, it is a top view of the reflective part. The reflective part is a honeycomb structure, including multiple reflective sub-parts, such as reflective sub-part 1-reflective sub-part 7. Reflective sub-part 1 and its adjacent reflective sub-parts 2-7 have different porosities, thereby forming different refractive indices, further increasing the difference with the refractive index, and effectively increasing the reflection of light incident on the reflective part, thereby changing the transmission direction of light, and continuing to emit light from the light emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference to the photoelectric sensor.

[0050] In an optional embodiment, if Figure 4 As shown, the reflective portion includes a pixel defining layer 32 and a nanoparticle film layer 323 disposed on a side of the pixel defining layer 32 close to the substrate 10 and in direct contact with the pixel defining layer 32, wherein the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer 323 is less than that of the pixel defining layer.

[0051] In this embodiment, a nanoparticle film layer is provided in direct contact with the pixel defining layer on the side away from the light emitting side, and the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer is smaller than that of the pixel defining layer, that is, a channel from the optically dense medium to the optically sparse medium is formed in the optical path of the light reflected by the encapsulation layer propagating downward, so that more of the incident reflected light is reflected at the interface between the pixel defining layer and the nanoparticle film layer, thereby further improving the light emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference to the photoelectric sensor.

[0052] Based on the display substrate of the aforementioned embodiment, in an optional embodiment, as Figure 5 As shown, the reflective portion is combined with a doped photorefractive crystal and a nanoparticle film layer disposed on a side of the pixel defining layer close to the substrate and in direct contact with the pixel defining layer, and the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer is less than the refractive index of the pixel defining layer.

[0053] In this embodiment, the reflective portion is doped with photorefractive crystals and a nanoparticle film layer is provided, the reflective portion has different refractive indices, and the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer is less than the refractive index of the pixel defining layer, that is, a channel from the optically dense medium to the optically sparse medium is formed in the optical path of the light reflected by the encapsulation layer and propagating downward, so that more light of the incident reflected light is reflected at the interface between the pixel defining layer and the nanoparticle film layer, and the propagation direction is changed, and the light is emitted from the light emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference with the photoelectric sensor. Those skilled in the art should understand that the effective refractive index of the reflective portion is calculated based on the specific structure of the reflective portion, which will not be repeated here.

[0054] Based on the display substrate of the aforementioned embodiment, in another optional embodiment, the reflective portion is combined with a microporous structure, and a nanoparticle film layer arranged on a side of the pixel defining layer close to the substrate and in direct contact with the pixel defining layer, and the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer is smaller than the refractive index of the pixel defining layer.

[0055] In this embodiment, a microporous structure and a nanoparticle film layer are simultaneously provided on the reflective portion, the reflective portion has different refractive indices, and the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer is less than the refractive index of the pixel defining layer, that is, a channel from a light-dense medium to a light-sparse medium is formed in the optical path of the light reflected by the encapsulation layer and propagating downward, so that more light of the incident reflected light is reflected at the interface between the pixel defining layer and the nanoparticle film layer, and the propagation direction is changed, and the light is emitted from the light emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference with the photoelectric sensor. Those skilled in the art should understand that the effective refractive index of the reflective portion is calculated based on the specific structure of the reflective portion, which will not be repeated here.

[0056] Based on the display substrate of the aforementioned embodiment, in another optional embodiment, the reflective portion is combined with doped photorefractive crystals and a microporous structure, and a nanoparticle film layer is arranged on the side of the pixel defining layer close to the substrate and in direct contact with the pixel defining layer, and the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer is less than the refractive index of the pixel defining layer.

[0057] In this embodiment, the reflective portion is doped with photorefractive crystals, a microporous structure is provided, and a nanoparticle film layer is provided. The reflective portion has different refractive indices, and the refractive index of the nanoparticle film layer is less than the refractive index of the pixel defining layer, that is, a channel from a light-dense medium to a light-sparse medium is formed in the optical path of the light reflected by the encapsulation layer and propagating downward, so that more light of the incident reflected light is reflected at the interface between the pixel defining layer and the nanoparticle film layer, and the propagation direction is changed, and the light is emitted from the light emitting side of the display substrate, thereby increasing the light emitting efficiency of the display substrate, improving the light leakage problem on the back of the display substrate, and reducing interference with the photoelectric sensor. Those skilled in the art should understand that the effective refractive index of the reflective portion is calculated based on the specific structure of the reflective portion, which will not be repeated here.

[0058] Based on the display substrate of the aforementioned embodiment, another embodiment of the present invention proposes a display device, which includes the display substrate of the aforementioned embodiment, wherein the display device can be any product or component with a display function, such as electronic paper, mobile phone, tablet computer, television, monitor, notebook computer, digital photo frame, navigator, etc., which is not limited in this embodiment.

[0059] In view of the existing problems, the present invention develops a display substrate and a display device, wherein a reflective portion is provided on the pixel defining layer in the sensor area of the display substrate, and the reflective portion has a refractive index different from that of the pixel defining layer, so that the light reflected on the interface of the packaging layer to the inside of the display substrate is further reflected at the reflective portion, thereby changing the direction of the output light of the display substrate, effectively improving the light output efficiency of the display substrate, improving the back light leakage problem caused by reflection of the packaging layer, and improving the sensitivity of the ambient light sensor, which has broad application prospects.

[0060] Obviously, the above embodiments of the present invention are merely examples for clearly illustrating the present invention, and are not limitations on the implementation methods of the present invention. For ordinary technicians in the relevant field, other different forms of changes or modifications can be made based on the above description. It is impossible to list all the implementation methods here. All obvious changes or modifications derived from the technical solution of the present invention are still within the protection scope of the present invention.
