Abstract

The application provides a backup method of SSD user data in internal cache, which can ensure that the sequential write performance average and performance consistency are not affected after the data backup function of the SSD is started. The method needs to increase a DMA hardware module in the SSD. After the host computer sends a write command to the SSD, SRAM user data cache units and associated DDR user data backup cache units are allocated for the write command. After the host computer completes data transmission to the SSD, the data in the SRAM user data cache units is transmitted to the DDR user data backup cache units, and the data in the SRAM user data cache units is written into a flash memory grain. After the data is transmitted to the flash memory grain data register, the SRAM user data cache units are released and the DDR user data backup cache set information associated with the SRAM user data cache units is updated. When the data is written into the flash memory grain storage medium, the DDR user data backup cache units are released.
