Abstract
Description
Battery pressurization device and method Technical Field
[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of battery manufacturing, and in particular to a battery pressurizing device and a battery pressurizing method for pressurizing a battery. Background Art
[0002] As an energy storage device, batteries are used in a wide range of fields such as mobile terminals and electric vehicles, becoming a key technical factor in the field of new energy technology.
[0003] During battery manufacturing, batteries are typically pressed at a certain pressure to achieve specified dimensions and ensure a long battery life. However, pressing the battery in one direction to achieve the specified dimensions can cause undesirable surface deformation in other directions, making it difficult to achieve the desired flatness.
[0004] Summary of the Invention
[0005] In view of the above problems, the present application provides a battery pressurizing device that can reduce or suppress unwanted deformation of the battery surface and improve the flatness of the battery appearance.
[0006] According to a first aspect, a battery pressurizing device is provided, comprising: a first pressurizing mechanism that pressurizes a battery in a first direction; and a second pressurizing mechanism that pressurizes the battery in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
[0007] According to the battery pressurizing device of the first aspect, by making the battery pressurizing device include a first pressurizing mechanism for pressurizing the battery in a first direction and a mechanism for pressurizing the battery in a second direction, it is possible to pressurize the battery in the first direction by using the first pressurizing mechanism while applying pressure to the battery in the second direction by using the second pressurizing mechanism, thereby reducing or suppressing undesirable deformation of the battery in the second direction due to pressure applied in the first direction, thereby improving the flatness of the battery.
[0008] In some embodiments, the first pressurizing mechanism includes two first pressurizing components arranged toward each other in the first direction across the battery, at least one of the two first pressurizing components is provided with a first direction driving mechanism so that the battery is pressurized by the drive of the first direction driving mechanism, and the second pressurizing mechanism includes two second pressurizing components arranged toward each other in the second direction across the battery, at least one of the two second pressurizing components is provided with a second direction driving mechanism so that the battery is pressurized by the drive of the second direction driving mechanism.
[0009] By adopting the above structure, the battery pressurizing device can use the first direction driving mechanism and the second direction driving mechanism to drive the first pressurizing mechanism and the second pressurizing mechanism in the first direction and the second direction respectively, so as to pressurize the battery.
[0010] In some embodiments, the two second pressing assemblies of the second pressing mechanism each have a second direction driving mechanism, so as to independently move and pressurize the battery in the second direction.
[0011] By adopting the above structure, compared with a structure in which only one second pressurizing component is provided with a driving mechanism and the other second pressurizing component is a fixed component, the two second pressurizing components can independently approach the battery from both sides of the battery in the second direction and pressurize it, thereby achieving alignment of the battery and the first pressurizing mechanism in the first direction, and therefore, can be suitable for pressurizing batteries of various specifications with different sizes in the second direction.
[0012] In some embodiments, the two second-direction pressing assemblies are symmetrically disposed relative to a center line of the battery in the first direction.
[0013] By adopting the above structure, the distances between the two second-direction pressurizing assemblies and the center line of the battery in the first direction are equal. Therefore, for batteries with different sizes in the second direction, it is easier to achieve centering of the battery and the first pressurizing mechanism in the first direction, so as to be suitable for pressurizing batteries of various specifications with different sizes in the second direction, and to make the force on the two surfaces of the battery in the second direction more uniform.
[0014] In some embodiments, the battery pressurizing device further includes a third pressurizing mechanism having a third directional driving mechanism, which drives in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, so that the third pressurizing mechanism pressurizes the battery in the third direction.
[0015] By adopting the above structure, the battery can be pressurized in the first direction by the first pressurizing mechanism while the second pressurizing mechanism and the third pressurizing mechanism are respectively applying pressure to the battery in the second direction and the third direction. This reduces or suppresses the undesirable deformation of the battery in the second direction and the third direction, and improves the flatness of the battery in multiple directions.
[0016] In some embodiments, the third direction is a direction in which electrode terminals of the battery extend.
[0017] By adopting the above mechanism, the flatness of the battery in the direction in which the electrode terminals extend can be improved by the third pressing mechanism.
[0018] In some embodiments, the third pressing mechanism is an electrode terminal pressing mechanism that pressurizes the electrode terminals of the battery.
[0019] By adopting the above structure, the third pressurizing mechanism can be used to apply pressure to the electrode terminal. Therefore, when the battery is pressurized in the first direction by the first pressurizing mechanism, the displacement of the electrode terminal along its extension direction due to the pressure can be reduced or suppressed, thereby maintaining the flatness of the electrode terminal.
[0020] In some embodiments, the third pressing mechanism includes two rows of electrode terminal pressing assemblies arranged side by side at intervals in the second direction.
[0021] By adopting the above structure, the third pressing mechanism can simultaneously apply pressure to the two rows of electrode terminals of the battery, thereby reducing or suppressing the displacement of the two rows of electrode terminals of the battery along their extension direction due to pressure, and keeping the two rows of electrode terminals flat.
[0022] In some embodiments, the third pressing mechanism further includes a spacing adjustment mechanism for adjusting the spacing between the two rows of electrode terminal pressing assemblies in the second direction.
[0023] By adopting the above structure, the battery pressurizing device can be applied to pressurize batteries of various specifications with different intervals between two rows of electrode terminals, thereby improving the compatibility of the battery pressurizing device.
[0024] In some embodiments, the spacing adjustment mechanism is a bidirectional adjustment screw.
[0025] By adopting a bidirectional adjustment screw as a spacing adjustment mechanism, the spacing between two rows of electrode terminal pressurizing assemblies can be adjusted quickly and conveniently using a simple structure.
[0026] In some embodiments, the two rows of electrode terminal pressurizing assemblies each have a plurality of rolling members and a plurality of elastic members, and the plurality of elastic members respectively apply elastic forces to the plurality of rolling members.
[0027] When the first pressing mechanism pressurizes the battery in the first direction, the length of the battery in the first direction is typically compressed and shortened, causing the electrode terminal to displace in the first direction. By employing an electrode terminal pressurizing assembly comprising multiple rolling members and multiple elastic members, friction between the electrode terminal pressurizing assembly and the electrode terminal is reduced when the electrode terminal displaces in the first direction, enabling the battery pressurizing device to smoothly pressurize the battery.
[0028] In some embodiments, the first pressurizing mechanism and the second pressurizing mechanism pressurize the battery at the same station in a battery production line.
[0029] By having the first pressurizing mechanism and the second pressurizing mechanism pressurize the battery at the same workstation, it is easy to use the first pressurizing mechanism to pressurize the battery in the first direction while the second pressurizing mechanism applies pressure to the battery in the second direction, thereby reducing or suppressing unwanted deformation of the battery in the second direction and improving the flatness of the battery in the second direction.
[0030] In some embodiments, the third pressurizing mechanism pressurizes the battery at the same station as the first pressurizing mechanism and the second pressurizing mechanism in the battery production line.
[0031] By having the third pressurizing mechanism, the first pressurizing mechanism, and the second pressurizing mechanism pressurize the battery at the same station, it is easy to use the first pressurizing mechanism to pressurize the battery in the first direction while the second and third pressurizing mechanisms apply pressure to the battery in the second and third directions, respectively. Consequently, the second and third pressurizing mechanisms can simultaneously improve the flatness of the battery in both the first and third directions.
[0032] According to a second aspect, a battery pressurizing method is provided, wherein a battery pressurizing device of any of the above-described methods is used to pressurize the battery, wherein the battery pressurizing method comprises: pressurizing the battery in a first direction using a first pressurizing mechanism; pressurizing the battery in a second direction using a second pressurizing mechanism, and, while the battery is pressurized in the second direction using the second pressurizing mechanism, pressurizing the battery in the first direction using the first pressurizing mechanism.
[0033] By adopting the above-mentioned battery pressurization method, by applying pressure to the battery in the second direction by the first pressurizing mechanism while the second pressurizing mechanism is used to apply pressure to the battery in the first direction, it is possible to reduce or suppress unwanted deformation of the battery in the second direction, thereby improving the flatness of the battery in the second direction.
[0034] In some embodiments, the battery pressurizing method also includes pressurizing the battery in a third direction using a third pressurizing mechanism, and, while the battery is pressurized in the second direction using the second pressurizing mechanism and in the third direction using the third pressurizing mechanism, the first pressurizing mechanism pressurizes the battery in the first direction.
[0035] By using the second and third pressing mechanisms to pressurize the battery in the second and third directions, unwanted deformation of the battery in the second and third directions can be reduced or suppressed, thereby improving the flatness of the battery in these two directions.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0046] The following detailed description of the embodiments of the present application is provided in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and examples. The following detailed description of the embodiments and the accompanying drawings are used to illustrate the principles of the present application, but are not intended to limit the scope of the present application, that is, the present application is not limited to the described embodiments.
[0047] In the description of this application, it should be noted that, unless otherwise specified, "plurality" means more than two; the term "direction" includes two opposite directions in one dimension of three-dimensional space. Furthermore, the terms "first," "second," "third," etc. are used for descriptive purposes only and should not be construed as indicating or implying relative importance. "Perpendicular" does not necessarily mean perpendicular in the strict sense, but rather refers to an acceptable range of error.
[0048] The directional words appearing in the following description are all directions shown in the figures and do not limit the specific structure of this application. In the description of this application, it should also be noted that, unless otherwise clearly specified and limited, the terms "installation" and "setting" should be understood in a broad sense. For example, it can be a fixed setting, a detachable setting, or an integral setting; it can be a direct setting or an indirect setting through an intermediate medium. For ordinary technicians in this field, the specific meanings of the above terms in this application can be understood according to the specific circumstances.
[0049] At present, with the continuous development of the new energy industry, the application areas of batteries are constantly expanding, and the quality requirements for batteries are also constantly increasing.
[0050] During battery production, batteries are typically pressurized to achieve the desired dimensions. Pressurizing a battery in one direction not only compresses and deforms in that direction, but also deforms in a perpendicular direction. This causes uneven surfaces in that direction, making it difficult to achieve the desired flatness.
[0051] In order to solve the problem of insufficient flatness of the battery surface, the present application proposes a battery pressurizing device. By arranging pressurizing mechanisms in at least two different directions of the battery, the battery pressurizing device can reduce or suppress the deformation of the battery in another direction when pressurizing the battery in one direction, thereby improving the flatness of the battery.
[0052] The battery pressurizing device of the present application is well suited for pressurizing battery modules composed of multiple battery cells during the battery manufacturing process. However, the present application is not limited to pressurizing battery modules and can also be applied to pressurizing battery cells. Furthermore, the battery pressurizing device of the present application can be used to manufacture power batteries for electric vehicles, batteries used in mobile terminal devices, and various other known battery modules and battery cells.
[0053] Hereinafter, a battery pressurizing device 100 according to an embodiment of the present application will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0054] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, in order to process a battery 500 into a specified size, the battery 500 is pressurized using a battery pressurizing device 100. Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of a battery pressurizing device 100 according to some embodiments of the present application, and Figure 2 is a schematic top view of the battery pressurizing device 100 in Figure 1.
[0055] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the battery pressurizing device 100 includes a first pressurizing mechanism 1 and a second pressurizing mechanism 2. The first pressurizing mechanism 1 presses the battery 500 in a first direction X, and the second pressurizing mechanism presses the battery 500 in a second direction Y. The first direction X and the second direction Y are perpendicular to each other.
[0056] 1 and 2 is a battery module including a plurality of battery cells arranged along a first direction X, each battery cell having two electrode terminals 501. However, it should be understood that the battery 500 described herein is not limited to a battery module, but may include battery cells or a battery pack.
[0057] Furthermore, the first direction X described above refers to a direction in one dimension of the three-dimensional structure of the battery 500, and the second direction Y refers to a direction in another dimension of the three-dimensional structure of the battery 500, with the first direction X and the second direction Y being perpendicular to each other. In the examples shown in Figures 1 and 2, the size of the battery 500 in the first direction X is larger than the size of the battery 500 in the second direction Y. However, the present application is not limited to the examples shown in Figures 1 and 2. For example, the size of the battery 500 in the first direction X may be smaller than the size of the battery 500 in the second direction, or the sizes of the battery 500 in the first direction X and the second direction Y may be equal to each other.
[0058] When the battery 500 is subjected to pressure in one direction (for example, the first direction X) between the first direction X and the second direction Y, it is not only compressed and deformed in the one direction, but also tends to expand and deform in both directions in the other direction (for example, the second direction Y).
[0059] When the battery 500 is compressed and deformed by the pressure applied by the first pressurizing mechanism 1 in the first direction X, the battery 500 tends to also expand and deform in a second direction Y perpendicular to the first direction X. Consequently, both surfaces of the battery 500 in the second direction tend to become uneven due to this deformation. However, by providing the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2 in the battery pressurizing device 100, the first pressurizing mechanism 1 can pressurize the battery 500 in the first direction X while the second pressurizing mechanism 2 applies pressure to the battery 500 in the second direction Y. Consequently, the second pressurizing mechanism 2 can reduce or suppress any undesirable deformation of the battery 500 in the second direction Y, thereby improving the flatness of the surface of the battery 500 in the second direction Y.
[0060] According to some embodiments of the present application, the first pressurizing mechanism 1 includes two first pressurizing assemblies 11a and 11b disposed toward each other in a first direction X across the battery 500. At least one of the first pressurizing assemblies 11a is provided with a first directional drive mechanism 11a1. The second pressurizing mechanism 2 includes two second pressurizing assemblies 21 and 21 disposed toward each other in a second direction Y across the battery 500. At least one of the second pressurizing assemblies 21 and 21 is provided with a second directional drive mechanism 21a. By driving the first pressurizing assembly 11a with the first directional drive mechanism 11a1, the first pressurizing mechanism 1 can pressurize the battery 500 in the first direction X. Furthermore, by driving the second pressurizing assembly 21 with the second directional drive mechanism 21a, the second pressurizing mechanism 21 can pressurize the battery 500 in the second direction Y.
[0061] Figures 1 and 2 illustrate an example in which one of the two first pressurizing assemblies 11a and 11b is a movable assembly having a first-direction drive mechanism 11a1, while the other first pressurizing assembly 11b is a fixed assembly without a first-direction drive mechanism. However, both first pressurizing assemblies 11a and 11b may be movable assemblies having a first-direction drive mechanism.
[0062] 1 and 2 show an example in which both second pressing assemblies 21 have the second direction drive mechanism 21a. However, one of the two second pressing assemblies 21 may have the first direction drive mechanism, while the other may not have the second direction drive mechanism.
[0063] As an example of the first direction drive mechanism 11a1, a servo motor can be used. By using a servo motor as the first direction drive mechanism 11a1, the rotation of the first direction drive mechanism 11a1 can be controlled, so that the movement stroke of the first pressurizing component 11a of the first pressurizing mechanism 1 can be easily controlled according to the size of the battery 500 in the first direction X, so as to be suitable for pressurizing batteries 500 with different sizes in the first direction X. In addition, as an example of the second direction drive mechanism 21, a cylinder can be used. However, the present application is not limited to this. For example, a cylinder can be used as the first direction drive mechanism, and a servo motor can be used as the second direction drive mechanism, or both the first direction drive mechanism and the second direction drive mechanism can use a servo motor or a cylinder.
[0064] The battery is pressurized by driving the first pressurizing assembly 11a of the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing assembly 21 of the second pressurizing mechanism 2 in the first direction and the second direction respectively by the first direction driving mechanism 11a1 and the second direction driving mechanism 21a.
[0065] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, the two second pressurizing assemblies 21 of the second pressurizing mechanism 2 may each have a second direction driving mechanism 21a. Each second direction driving mechanism 21a may drive its own second pressurizing assembly 21, so that the two second pressurizing assemblies 21 move independently and pressurize the battery 500 toward each other in the second direction.
[0066] If only one of the two second pressurizing assemblies 21 is equipped with the second directional drive mechanism 21a, while the other second pressurizing assembly 21 is not, only the second pressurizing assembly 21 equipped with the second directional drive mechanism 21a can be moved, while the other second pressurizing assembly 21 without the second directional drive mechanism cannot be moved. Therefore, such a second pressurizing device 2 is only suitable for pressurizing batteries 500 of a specific size. If the size of the battery 500 changes, it is difficult to maintain alignment between the battery 500 and the first pressurizing mechanism 1 in the first direction X.
[0067] However, in some embodiments, by making the two second pressurizing assemblies 21 move independently and pressurize the two sides of the battery 500 in the second direction Y, the battery 500 and the first pressurizing mechanism 1 in the first direction X can be aligned. Therefore, it can be suitable for pressurizing batteries 500 of various specifications with different sizes in the second direction Y.
[0068] According to some embodiments of the present application, as clearly shown in FIG. 2 , in the second direction Y, two second pressurizing assemblies 21 may be symmetrically disposed relative to a center line L of the battery 500 in the first direction X.
[0069] By arranging the two second pressurizing assemblies 21 symmetrically relative to the center line L of the battery 500 in the first direction X, the distances between the two second pressurizing assemblies 21 and the center line L are equal to each other. Thus, for batteries 500 having different sizes in the second direction Y, it is possible to more easily align the battery 500 with the first pressurizing mechanism 1 in the first direction X, so as to be suitable for pressurizing batteries 500 of various specifications with different sizes in the second direction Y, and to make the force on the two surfaces of the battery 500 in the second direction Y more uniform.
[0070] According to some embodiments of the present application, the battery pressurizing device 100 may further include a third pressurizing mechanism 3 as shown in FIG3 , which has a third directional drive mechanism 31. FIG4 is a schematic perspective view of the battery pressurizing device 100 having the third pressurizing mechanism 3, wherein the third directional drive mechanism 31 is omitted to clearly illustrate that the third pressurizing mechanism 3 pressurizes the battery 500 in the third direction Z. Combining FIG3 and FIG4 , it can be seen that the third directional drive mechanism 31 drives the third pressurizing mechanism 3 in the third direction Z, which is perpendicular to the first direction X and the second direction Y, to pressurize the battery 500.
[0071] Like the first directional driving mechanism 11 a 1 and the second directional driving mechanism 21 a , the third directional driving mechanism 31 may also be a servo motor or a cylinder as a non-limiting example.
[0072] In the example shown in FIG4 , the first direction X corresponds to the length direction of the battery 500, the second direction Y corresponds to the width direction of the battery 500, and the third direction Z corresponds to the height direction of the battery 500 (a direction perpendicular to the length and width directions). Furthermore, the dimension of the battery 500 in the first direction X is longer than the dimensions in the second direction Y and the third direction Z. However, it should be understood that the above-described orientation relationship is merely an example of the present application, and that even when the orientation relationship and dimension relationship among the first direction X, the second direction Y, and the third direction Z are changed, the same may apply to the present application.
[0073] By further providing a third pressurizing mechanism 3 in the battery pressurizing device 100, the first pressurizing mechanism 1 can be used to pressurize the battery 500 in the first direction X while the second pressurizing mechanism 2 and / or the third pressurizing mechanism 3 are used to apply pressure to the battery 500 in the second direction and / or the third direction Z. This reduces or suppresses unwanted deformation of the battery 500 in the second direction Y and / or the third direction Z, thereby improving the flatness of the battery 500 in multiple directions.
[0074] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 4 , the third direction Z may be a direction in which the electrode terminal 501 of the battery 500 extends.
[0075] According to such a structure, by causing the third pressing mechanism 3 to pressurize the battery 500 in the direction in which the electrode terminal 501 extends (for example, the third direction Z in Figure 4), the third pressing mechanism 3 can be used to improve the flatness of the battery 500 in the direction in which the electrode terminal 501 extends.
[0076] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 , the third pressurizing mechanism 3 may be an electrode terminal pressurizing mechanism for pressurizing the electrode terminal 501 of the battery 500 .
[0077] When the third pressurizing mechanism 3 is an electrode terminal pressurizing mechanism, the third pressurizing mechanism 3 applies pressure to the electrode terminal 501 of the battery 500 in the direction in which the electrode terminal 501 of the battery 500 extends (i.e., the third direction Z in FIG. 4 ). The pressure applied by the third pressurizing mechanism 3 to the electrode terminal 501 does not need to deform the electrode terminal 501; rather, it is sufficient to press the electrode terminal 501 along its extension direction (i.e., the third direction Z in FIG. 4 ) so that the electrode terminal 501 does not displace in the third direction.
[0078] By making the third pressurizing mechanism 3 an electrode terminal pressurizing mechanism for pressurizing the electrode terminal 501 of the battery 500, the third pressurizing mechanism 3 can be used to apply pressure to the electrode terminal 501. Therefore, when the battery 500 is pressurized in the first direction X and / or the second direction Y by the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and / or the second pressurizing mechanism 2, the displacement of the electrode terminal 501 along the extension direction due to the pressure from the direction perpendicular to the extension direction can be reduced or suppressed, thereby reducing or suppressing the electrode terminal 501 from becoming uneven on the surface of the battery 500 and improving the flatness of the arrangement of the electrode terminal 501.
[0079] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 5 , the third pressing mechanism 3 may include two rows of electrode terminal pressing assemblies 32 spaced apart and arranged in parallel in the second direction Y.
[0080] As shown in Figures 1, 2, and 4, a battery 500 is typically provided with two parallel rows of electrode terminals 501. Therefore, when pressurizing a battery 500 having two rows of electrode terminals 501, by employing a third pressurizing mechanism 3 having a two-row electrode terminal pressurizing assembly 32, when the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and / or the second pressurizing mechanism 2 pressurize the battery 500 in the first direction X and / or the second direction Y, the third pressurizing mechanism 3 can reduce or suppress displacement of the two rows of electrode terminals 501 of the battery 500 in the third direction Z (the direction in which the electrode terminals 501 extend). This effectively reduces or suppresses uneven distribution of the electrode terminals 501 on the surface of the battery 500.
[0081] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 , the third pressing mechanism 3 further includes a spacing adjustment mechanism 33 for adjusting the spacing between the two rows of electrode terminal pressing assemblies 32 in the second direction Y.
[0082] By providing a spacing adjustment mechanism 33 in the third pressurizing mechanism 3, the spacing between the two rows of electrode terminal pressurizing assemblies 32 can be adjusted, so that the third pressurizing mechanism 3 with such a structure is suitable for pressurizing batteries 500 of various specifications with different spacing between the two rows of electrode terminals 501.
[0083] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 , the spacing adjustment mechanism 33 may be a bidirectional adjustment screw.
[0084] By adopting a bidirectional adjustment screw as the spacing adjustment mechanism 33 of the third pressing mechanism 3, the spacing between the two rows of electrode terminal pressing assemblies can be adjusted quickly and conveniently with a simple structure.
[0085] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG3 and FIG4 , the two rows of electrode terminal pressurizing assemblies 32 may respectively include a plurality of rolling members 32 a and a plurality of elastic members 32 b , and the plurality of elastic members 32 b respectively apply elastic force to the plurality of rolling members 32 a .
[0086] The rolling member 32a only needs to have a structure capable of rolling, and may be, for example, a roller or a ball, etc. The elastic member 32b is a member capable of providing elastic force, and may be, for example, a spring or a member made of an elastic material.
[0087] When the battery 500 is pressurized in the first direction X by the first pressurizing mechanism 1, the length of the battery 500 in the first direction X is generally compressed and shortened, thereby causing the electrode terminal 501 to be displaced in the first direction X. By using the electrode terminal pressurizing assembly 32 having multiple rolling members 32 a and multiple elastic members 32 b, when the electrode terminal 501 is displaced in the first direction X, the friction between the electrode terminal pressurizing assembly 32 and the electrode terminal 501 can be reduced, thereby enabling smooth pressurization of the battery 500.
[0088] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG6 , the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2 described above can pressurize the battery 500 at the same workstation in a battery production line.
[0089] In the battery production line shown in FIG6 , the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2 are both installed at the battery pressurizing station B. The battery 500, which is transferred from the previous station A, located upstream of the battery pressurizing station B, is pressurized by the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2 of the battery pressurizing device 100 at the battery pressurizing station B. The battery 500 is then transferred from the battery pressurizing station B to the next station C, located downstream of the battery pressurizing station B, for subsequent processing.
[0090] By having the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2 pressurize the battery 500 at the same station, it is easy to achieve the situation where the first pressurizing mechanism 1 pressurizes the battery 500 in the first direction X while the second pressurizing mechanism 2 applies pressure to the battery 500 in the second direction Y. This improves the flatness of the surface of the battery 500 in the second direction Y.
[0091] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG6 , the third pressurizing mechanism 3 can pressurize the battery 500 at the same station in the battery production line as the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2 .
[0092] In the battery production line shown in FIG6 , the third pressurizing mechanism 3 , like the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2 , is also installed at the battery pressurizing station B. Therefore, the battery 500 transferred from the previous station A, located upstream of the battery pressurizing station B, can be pressurized at the first pressurizing mechanism 1 , the second pressurizing mechanism 2 , and the third pressurizing mechanism 3 of the battery pressurizing apparatus 100 at the battery pressurizing station B. The battery 500 is then transferred from the battery pressurizing station B to the next station C, located downstream of the battery pressurizing station B, for subsequent processing.
[0093] By having the third pressurizing mechanism 3 pressurize the battery 500 at the same workstation as the first pressurizing mechanism 1 and the second pressurizing mechanism 2, it is easy to achieve the state where the second pressurizing mechanism 2 and the third pressurizing mechanism 3 apply pressure to the battery 500 in the second direction Y and the third direction Z respectively, and at the same time use the first pressurizing mechanism 1 to pressurize the battery 500 in the first direction X, thereby achieving the effect of improving the flatness of the surface of the battery 500 in the second direction Y and the third direction Z.
[0094] In addition, according to some embodiments of the present application, a battery pressurizing method is also provided, wherein the battery pressurizing method uses a battery pressurizing device 100 of any of the methods described above to pressurize the battery 500, wherein the battery pressurizing method includes: using a first pressurizing mechanism 1 to pressurize the battery 500 in a first direction X; using a second pressurizing mechanism 2 to pressurize the battery 500 in a second direction Y, and, while the second pressurizing mechanism 2 is pressurizing the battery 500 in the second direction Y, the first pressurizing mechanism 1 pressurizes the battery 500 in the first direction X.
[0095] By applying pressure to the battery 500 in the second direction Y by the first pressurizing mechanism 1 while the second pressurizing mechanism 2 is used to apply pressure to the battery 500 in the second direction Y, it is possible to reduce or suppress undesirable deformation of the battery 500 in the second direction Y due to the pressure in the first direction X, thereby improving the flatness of the battery.
[0096] According to some embodiments of the present application, in the battery pressurizing method as described above, it may also include using a third pressurizing mechanism 3 to pressurize the battery 500 in a third direction Z, and, while the battery 500 is pressurized in the second direction Y by the second pressurizing mechanism 2 and the battery 500 is pressurized in the third direction Z by the third pressurizing mechanism 3, the first pressurizing mechanism 1 pressurizes the battery 500 in the first direction X.
[0097] By pressurizing the battery 500 in the first direction X by the first pressurizing mechanism 1 while the battery 500 is pressurized in the second direction Y by the second pressurizing mechanism 2 and in the third direction Z by the third pressurizing mechanism 3, it is possible to reduce or suppress unwanted deformation of the battery 500 in both the second direction Y and the third direction Z, thereby improving the flatness of the battery.
