Water-based paint with low water permeability and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of preparation of exterior wall primers, and discloses a low-permeability water-based paint, which comprises water-based resin, a functional filler, a pigment filler, a functional auxiliary agent, a film-forming auxiliary agent and deionized water. The preparation method of the low-permeability water-based paint comprises the following steps: a pretreatment stage: carrying out surface modification treatment; a dispersing stage: pre-mixing the raw materials and adding a dispersing agent; a paint mixing stage: adding a functional auxiliary agent into the dispersed slurry, and adjusting the slurry to required viscosity; in the grinding stage, the mixed paint liquid is further ground; and filtering and packaging: filtering the ground paint liquid, sealing and storing. According to the invention, the water-based resin with excellent weather resistance and film-forming property, such as the water-based acrylic resin or the water-based polyurethane resin, and the nanoscale functional filler subjected to surface treatment are selected, so that a compact network structure and a compact filler network are formed, and permeation of water molecules is effectively blocked.
