[0048] Hereinafter, various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0049] Figure 1 is an exemplary diagram illustrating a display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0050] The display device 100 may be provided on at least a portion of a dashboard of a vehicle. The dashboard of a vehicle includes a configuration provided in front of a front seat (e.g., a driver's seat or a passenger seat) of the vehicle. For example, the dashboard of a vehicle may be equipped with input configurations for manipulating various functions in the vehicle (e.g., air conditioning, an audio system, and a navigation system).
[0051] In an exemplary embodiment, the display device 100 may be provided on a dashboard of a vehicle and operated as an input portion for manipulating at least some of the various functions of the vehicle. The display device 100 may provide various types of information related to the vehicle, such as driving information of the vehicle (e.g., the current speed of the vehicle, the remaining fuel amount, and the travel distance) and information about components of the vehicle (e.g., the degree of damage to the tires of the vehicle).
[0052] In an exemplary embodiment, the display device 100 may be arranged to span a driver's seat and a passenger seat arranged as the front seat of the vehicle. Users of the display device 100 may include the driver of the vehicle and a fellow passenger sitting in the passenger seat. Both the driver and the fellow passenger in the vehicle may use the display device 100.
[0053] In an exemplary embodiment, Figure 1 Only a portion of the display device 100 may be shown. Figure 1 The display device 100 shown in FIG. 1 may be shown as a display panel among various components included in the display device 100. Specifically, for example, Figure 1 The display device 100 shown in FIG. 1 may be shown as at least a portion of a display area of a display panel and at least a portion of a non-display area of a display panel. Figure 1 Components of the components shown may be installed in a vehicle (or at least a portion of a vehicle).
[0054] Figure 2 is a functional block diagram of a display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0055] An electroluminescent display device may be applied as a display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. An electroluminescent display is a self-luminous display, and unlike a liquid crystal display having a separate light source, it does not require a separate light source, so it can be made thin and light. In addition, due to low voltage driving, the electroluminescent display has advantages in power consumption, and is also excellent in color realization, response speed, viewing angle, and contrast (CR). For example, an organic light emitting diode display device, a quantum dot light emitting diode display device, or an inorganic light emitting diode display device may be used as an electroluminescent display device.
[0056] refer to Figure 2 The display device 100 may include a display panel PN, a data driving circuit DD, a gate driving circuit GD, and a timing controller T-con, but the components of the display device of the present disclosure are not limited thereto. In addition, all components of each display device according to all embodiments of the present disclosure are operably connected and configured.
[0057] In an exemplary embodiment, the display panel PN may create an image to be provided to a user. For example, the display panel PN may create and display an image to be provided to a user through a plurality of pixels PX provided with pixel circuits.
[0058] The data driving circuit DD, the gate driving circuit GD, and the timing controller T-con may provide signals for operating the pixels PX through signal lines. For example, the signal lines may include data lines DL and gate lines GL.
[0059] In some instances, the display device may further include a power supply unit. In this case, a signal for operating the pixel PX may be provided by a power line connecting the power supply unit and the display panel PN. According to an exemplary embodiment, the power supply unit may provide power to the data drive circuit DD and the gate drive circuit GD. The data drive circuit DD and the gate drive circuit GD may operate based on the power provided from the power supply unit.
[0060] For example, the data driving circuit DD may apply a data signal to the pixel PX through the data line DL, the gate driving circuit GD may apply a gate signal to the pixel PX through the gate line GL, and the power supply unit may supply a power voltage to the pixel PX through the power voltage supply line.
[0061] The timing controller T-con can control the data driving circuit DD and the gate driving circuit GD. For example, the timing controller T-con can realign the digital video data input from the outside to fit the resolution of the display panel PN and provide the video data to the data driving circuit DD. The timing controller T-con can generate a gate control signal and a data control signal based on a timing signal (such as a dot clock signal, a data enable signal, and a horizontal / vertical synchronization signal) synchronized with the input image signal. Here, the horizontal synchronization signal is a signal indicating the time taken for one horizontal line of the display screen, and the vertical synchronization signal is a signal indicating the time taken for one frame of the display screen. The data enable signal may correspond to a signal indicating the period of supplying a data voltage to a pixel. The timing controller T-con can control the operation timing of the gate driving circuit GD and the data driving circuit DD by supplying the gate control signal to the gate driver and the data control signal to the data driving circuit DD.
[0062] The data driving circuit DD may convert the digital video data input from the timing controller T-con into an analog data voltage in response to the data control signal, and provide the analog data voltage to a plurality of data lines. The data driving circuit DD may be configured with at least one data IC. In this case, as an example, the data IC of the data driving circuit DD may be connected to a non-display area on a corresponding side of the display panel, or may be directly mounted on the non-display area. As an example, the data IC of the data driving circuit DD may be mounted on a flexible circuit film and connected to a non-display area on a corresponding side of the display panel.
[0063] The gate drive circuit GD may generate a scan signal and a light emitting signal (or a light emitting control signal) in response to the gate control signal. The gate drive circuit GD may include a scan drive section and a light emitting signal drive section. The scan drive section may generate a scan signal in a row-sequential manner to operate at least one scan line connected to each pixel row and provide the scan signal to the scan line. The light emitting signal drive section may generate a light emitting signal in a row-sequential manner to operate at least one light emitting signal line connected to each pixel row and provide the light emitting signal to the light emitting signal line.
[0064] According to an exemplary embodiment, the gate drive circuit GD may be disposed on the display panel PN in a gate driver in panel (GIP) manner. For example, the gate drive circuit GD may be divided into a plurality of gate drivers and respectively disposed on at least two sides of the display panel PN, but the number of the gate drive circuits GD and their arrangement are not limited thereto. For example, one gate drive circuit GD may be disposed on one side of the display panel.
[0065] The display panel PN may include a display area displaying an image and a non-display area. The non-display area is configured to be near the display area, partially or completely surround the display area.
[0066] The display area may include a plurality of pixels PX. In the pixel PX, a plurality of data lines (eg, Figure 2 The data line DL in the embodiment of the present invention) and the plurality of gate lines (for example, Figure 2 The gate line GL in the pixel PX intersects, and the sub-pixels can be arranged in each intersection area. The sub-pixels included in a pixel PX can emit light of different colors. For example, the pixel PX can realize blue, red and green by using three sub-pixels. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this. In some instances, the pixel PX may also include a sub-pixel for further realizing a specific color (e.g., white).
[0067] For example, a plurality of sub-pixels may include a red sub-pixel, a green sub-pixel, and a blue sub-pixel, wherein the red sub-pixel, the green sub-pixel, and the blue sub-pixel may be arranged in a repeated manner. Alternatively, a plurality of sub-pixels may include a red sub-pixel, a green sub-pixel, a blue sub-pixel, and a white sub-pixel, wherein the red sub-pixel, the green sub-pixel, the blue sub-pixel, and the white sub-pixel may be arranged in a repeated manner, or the red sub-pixel, the green sub-pixel, the blue sub-pixel, and the white sub-pixel may be arranged in a quadrilateral type. For example, the red sub-pixel, the blue sub-pixel, and the green sub-pixel may be arranged sequentially along the row direction, or the red sub-pixel, the blue sub-pixel, the green sub-pixel, and the white sub-pixel may be arranged sequentially along the row direction. However, in an embodiment of the present disclosure, the color type, the arrangement type, and the arrangement order of the sub-pixel are not limited, and may be configured in various forms according to the luminous characteristics, the device life, and the device specifications.
[0068] In addition, the sub-pixels may have different light-emitting areas according to the light-emitting characteristics. For example, a sub-pixel emitting light of a color different from the color of the blue sub-pixel may have a light-emitting area different from the light-emitting area of the blue sub-pixel. For example, a red sub-pixel, a blue sub-pixel, and a green sub-pixel, or a red sub-pixel, a blue sub-pixel, a white sub-pixel, and a green sub-pixel may each have a different light-emitting area.
[0069] In the pixel PX, a region for realizing blue may be referred to as a blue sub-pixel, a region for realizing red may be referred to as a red sub-pixel, and a region for realizing green may be referred to as a green sub-pixel.
[0070] In an exemplary embodiment, the pixel PX may include a plurality of sub-pixels. The plurality of sub-pixels may each be divided into a first lens area and a second lens area providing different viewing angles. For example, one pixel PX may include a first lens area configured to define a first viewing angle by providing light within a first range and a second lens area configured to define a second viewing angle by providing light within a second range. The first range may correspond to a range greater than the second range.
[0071] The non-display area may be arranged along the periphery of the display area. Various components for operating the pixel circuit arranged in the pixel PX may be arranged in the non-display area. For example, at least a portion of the gate drive circuit GD may be arranged in the non-display area. The non-display area may be referred to as a border area.
[0072] Figure 3is a circuit diagram showing an example of a pixel circuit of a display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The pixel PX may include a plurality of sub-pixels for realizing different colors, and a pixel circuit PC corresponding to the plurality of sub-pixels, respectively. The pixel circuit PC may include at least one thin film transistor (TFT) and at least one capacitor. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the number of thin film transistors TFT in the pixel circuit of the present disclosure may be two or more, and the number of capacitors may be one or more. For example, the pixel circuit of the present disclosure may be a 3T2C pixel circuit including three TFTs and two capacitors, a 5T1C pixel circuit including five TFTs and one capacitor, a 5T2C pixel circuit including five TFTs and two capacitors, or a 7T2C pixel circuit including seven TFTs and two capacitors, etc.
[0073] The active layer of the thin film transistor TFT may be formed of a semiconductor material, such as an oxide semiconductor, an amorphous semiconductor, or a polycrystalline semiconductor, but is not limited thereto.
[0074] Oxide semiconductor materials can have excellent effects of preventing leakage current and relatively cheap manufacturing costs. Oxide semiconductors can be made of metal oxides such as zinc (Zn), indium (In), gallium (Ga), tin (Sn) and titanium (Ti) or metals such as zinc (Zn), indium (In), gallium (Ga), tin (Sn) or titanium (Ti) and combinations of their oxides. Specifically, oxide semiconductors can include zinc oxide (ZnO), zinc tin oxide (ZTO), zinc indium oxide (ZIO), indium oxide (InO), titanium oxide (TiO), indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO), indium zinc tin oxide (IZTO), indium zinc oxide (IZO), indium gallium tin oxide (IGTO) and indium gallium oxide (IGO), but are not limited thereto.
[0075] The polycrystalline semiconductor material has a fast moving speed of carriers such as electrons and holes, and thus has high mobility, and has low power consumption and excellent reliability. The polycrystalline semiconductor may be made of polycrystalline silicon (poly-Si), but is not limited thereto.
[0076] The amorphous semiconductor material may be made of amorphous silicon (a-Si), but is not limited thereto.
[0077] Figure 3 An example of a pixel circuit PC provided in one sub-pixel in a pixel PX is shown.
[0078] refer to Figure 3 , the pixel circuit PC may include nine transistors and one capacitor.
[0079] The pixel circuit PC may include a first transistor T1, a second transistor T2, a third transistor T3, a fourth-first transistor T41, a fourth-second transistor T42, a fifth transistor T5, a sixth transistor T6, a seventh transistor T7, a driving transistor DT, and a capacitor Cst.
[0080] At least some of the nine transistors included in the pixel circuit PC may be n-type transistors or p-type transistors. In the case of p-type transistors, the low level voltage of each drive signal may represent the voltage of the turned-on TFT, and the high level voltage of each drive signal may represent the voltage of the turned-off TFT. In the case of n-type transistors, the high level voltage of each drive signal may represent the voltage of the turned-on TFT, and the low level voltage of each drive signal may represent the voltage of the turned-off TFT.
[0081] In the case of a p-type transistor, the low level voltage may correspond to a pre-specified voltage lower than the high level voltage. For example, the low level voltage may include a voltage corresponding to a range of -8V to -12V. The high level voltage may correspond to a pre-specified voltage higher than the low level voltage. For example, the high level voltage may include a voltage corresponding to a range of 12V to 16V. In an exemplary embodiment, the low level voltage may be referred to as a first voltage, and the high level voltage may be referred to as a second voltage. In this case, the first voltage may have a value lower than the second voltage. However, the range of the low level voltage and the range of the high level voltage are for illustrative purposes only. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0082] The first electrode or the second electrode of the transistor described below may represent a source electrode or a drain electrode. However, the terms "first electrode" and "second electrode" are merely terms used to distinguish electrodes. The content corresponding to the electrode is not limited. In addition, for each electrode, the first electrode may not refer to the same electrode. For example, the first electrode of the first transistor T1 may represent the source electrode of the first transistor T1, and the first electrode of the sixth transistor T6 may represent the drain electrode of the sixth transistor T6.
[0083] In an exemplary embodiment, the driving transistor DT may be connected to the first transistor T1 connected to the first light emitting element 140 and the second transistor T2 connected to the second light emitting element 150. For example, the second electrode of the driving transistor DT may be connected to the first transistor T1 and the second transistor T2.
[0084] In an exemplary embodiment, the driving transistor DT may be connected to a first power line L17 configured to provide a high potential power voltage ELVDD. For example, a first electrode of the driving transistor DT may be connected to the first power line L17. When the driving transistor DT is turned on, the high potential power voltage ELVDD provided by the first power line L17 may be transmitted from the first electrode of the driving transistor DT to the second electrode.
[0085] In an exemplary embodiment, the first transistor T1 may be connected to at least one of the first light emitting element 140 , the second transistor T2 , the fourth-first transistor T41 , and the seventh transistor T7 .
[0086] For example, the first electrode of the first transistor T1 may be connected to at least one of the second transistor T2 and the seventh transistor T7. In addition, the seventh transistor T7 may be connected to the driving transistor DT and the fifth transistor T5. The second electrode of the first transistor T1 may be connected to at least one of the first light emitting element 140 and the fourth-first transistor T41. The gate electrode of the first transistor T1 may be connected to the first control line L10. The first transistor T1 may be turned on or off by the first control signal S(k) provided through the first control line L10. When the first transistor T1 is turned on, a voltage may be input to the first light emitting element 140 (for example, the anode electrode of the first light emitting element 140) through the driving transistor DT and the seventh transistor T7.
[0087] In this case, the first control signal S(k) may include a k-th first control signal provided to the k-th column on the basis that the pixel circuit PC is disposed in the k-th column (k is a positive integer). The first control signal S(k) may be provided by a mode controller (or a mode control circuit) and control the operation (or light emission) of the first light emitting element 140 having the first lens disposed thereon.
[0088] In an exemplary embodiment, the second transistor T2 may be connected to at least one of the second light emitting element 150 , the first transistor T1 , the fourth-second transistor T42 , and the seventh transistor T7 .
[0089] For example, the first electrode of the second transistor T2 may be connected to at least one of the first transistor T1 and the seventh transistor T7. Therefore, the first portion 151a-1 may be connected to the second transistor T2. For example, the first portion 151a-1 may be connected to the second transistor T2 through a contact hole formed in the overcoat layer 115 in a region corresponding to another portion extending outward from a portion of the reflective layer 151a. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0148] refer to Figure 4 , the plurality of second portions 151a-2 of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 151 extend from the first portion 151a-1 and are disposed to overlap the plurality of second lenses 162. The plurality of second portions 151a-2 may be portions corresponding to regions of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 151 where the plurality of second lenses 162 are disposed.
[0149] refer to Figure 4 , the third portion 151a-3 of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 151 may be a portion of the reflective layer 151a that is disposed opposite to the first portion 151a-1 based on a plurality of second portions 151a-2. The third portion 151a-3 may be disposed opposite to the first portion 151a-1 and connected to the plurality of second portions 151a-2. For example, the first portion 151a-1 and the third portion 151a-3 of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 151 may extend in a first direction, the plurality of second portions 151a-2 may extend in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and the first portion 151a-1 and the third portion 151a-3 may be connected to each other through the plurality of second portions 151a-2 to form a plurality of closed shapes. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0150] The reflective layer 151a may include a material having high reflectivity. For example, the second lower electrode 151 may include a metal such as aluminum (Al) and silver (Ag). However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0151] The transparent conductive layer 151b is disposed on the reflective layer 151a. For example, the transparent conductive layer 151b may be made of a transparent conductive material such as indium tin oxide (ITO) and indium zinc oxide (IZO). However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0152] Reference Figure 6 , the transparent conductive layer 151b is also disposed in the opening portion OP1 of the reflective layer 151a. Therefore, the transparent conductive layer 151b may be disposed on the overcoat layer 115 through the opening portion OP1 of the reflective layer 151a.
[0153] refer to Figure 5and Figure 6 , the second light emitting layer 152 may correspond to the first light emitting layer 142, and the second upper electrode 153 may correspond to the first upper electrode 143. For example, the second light emitting layer 152 and the second upper electrode 153 of the second light emitting element 150 may be formed to have the same structure as the first light emitting layer 142 and the first upper electrode 143 of the first light emitting element 140. For example, the light emitting layer 142 and the upper electrode 143 of the first light emitting element 140 and the light emitting layer 152 and the upper electrode 153 of the second light emitting element 150 may be formed to have the same structure. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In some examples, at least some configurations of the light emitting layer 142 and the upper electrode 143 of the first light emitting element 140 and the light emitting layer 152 and the upper electrode 153 of the second light emitting element 150 may be formed to be different from each other.
[0154] In an exemplary embodiment, the second light emitting layer 152 may be spaced apart from the first light emitting layer 142. For example, the second light emitting layer 152 may be spaced apart from the first light emitting layer 142 by the bank insulating layer 116. Therefore, in the display device according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, light emission caused by leakage current may be suppressed.
[0155] According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, in the display device 100 , only one of the first light emitting layer 142 and the second light emitting layer 152 may generate light according to a user's selection or a pre-specified condition.
[0156] The second lower electrode 151 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be spaced apart from the first lower electrode 141 in each of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. For example, the bank insulating layer 116 may be located between the first lower electrode 141 and the second lower electrode 151 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. The bank insulating layer 116 may include an insulating material. For example, the bank insulating layer 116 may include an organic insulating material. The bank insulating layer 116 may include a material different from that of the overcoat layer 115. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0157] The second lower electrode 151 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be insulated from the first lower electrode 141 in each of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP by the bank insulating layer 116. For example, the bank insulating layer 116 may cover an edge of the first lower electrode 141 and an edge of the second lower electrode 151 located in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP.
[0158] The bank insulating layer 116 may separate the light emitting region of the first light emitting element 140 from the light emitting region of the second light emitting element 150. For example, the light emitting region of the first light emitting element 140 may be defined as a region of the first lower electrode 141 except for an edge region of the first lower electrode 141 covered by the bank insulating layer 116. The light emitting region of the second light emitting element 150 may be defined as a region of the second lower electrode 151 except for an edge region of the second lower electrode 151 covered by the bank insulating layer 116. In this case, referring to Figure 4 , the size of the light emitting area of the first light emitting element 140 defined in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be greater than the size of the light emitting area of the second light emitting element 150. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0159] The first light emitting layer 142 and the first upper electrode 143 of the first light emitting element 140 located in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be disposed on the first lower electrode 141 and the bank insulating layer 116. Specifically, the first light emitting layer 142 and the first upper electrode 143 may be stacked on the bank insulating layer 116 and a portion of the first lower electrode 141 exposed by the bank insulating layer 116. The second light emitting layer 152 and the second upper electrode 153 of the second light emitting element 150 located in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be disposed on the second lower electrode 151 and the bank insulating layer 116. Specifically, the second light emitting layer 152 and the second upper electrode 153 may be stacked on the bank insulating layer 116 and a portion of the second lower electrode 151 exposed by the bank insulating layer 116.
[0160] The second upper electrode 153 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be electrically connected to the first upper electrode 143 of each of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. For example, the voltage applied to the second upper electrode 153 of the second light emitting element 150 located in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be equal to the voltage applied to the first upper electrode 143 of the first light emitting element 140 located in each of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. The second upper electrode 153 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may include the same material as the first upper electrode 143 in each of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. For example, the second upper electrode 153 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be formed simultaneously with the first upper electrode 143 in each of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. The second upper electrode 153 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may extend to the top surface of the bank insulating layer 116 and directly contact the first upper electrode 143 in each of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. The brightness of the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE located in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP and the brightness of the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE may be controlled by the driving current generated in the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP.
[0161] The encapsulation member 180 may be located on the first light emitting element 140 and the second light emitting element 150 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. The encapsulation member 180 may suppress damage to the light emitting elements 140 and 150 caused by moisture and impact from the outside. The encapsulation member 180 may have a multilayer structure. For example, the encapsulation member 180 may include a first encapsulation layer 181, a second encapsulation layer 182, and a third encapsulation layer 183 stacked in sequence. However, exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited thereto.
[0162] The first encapsulation layer 181, the second encapsulation layer 182, and the third encapsulation layer 183 may include an insulating material. The second encapsulation layer 182 may include a material different from that of the first encapsulation layer 181 and the third encapsulation layer 183. For example, the first encapsulation layer 181 and the third encapsulation layer 183 are inorganic encapsulation layers including an inorganic insulating material, and the second encapsulation layer 182 may include an organic encapsulation layer including an organic insulating material. Therefore, damage to the light emitting elements 140 and 150 of the display device 100 caused by moisture and impact from the outside can be more effectively suppressed.
[0163] For example, the first to third encapsulation layers may be sequentially stacked on the upper electrode, the first and third encapsulation layers may be formed of inorganic film layers including inorganic materials, and the second encapsulation layer may be formed of an organic film layer including organic materials.
[0164] The first encapsulation layer may be formed at the lowermost end of the encapsulation layer to contact the upper surface of the upper electrode. The first encapsulation layer may be formed of a material such as silicon nitride SiNx, silicon oxide SiOx, silicon oxynitride SiON, or aluminum oxide Al2O3.
[0165] The second encapsulation layer may be formed on the first encapsulation layer. The second encapsulation layer may be formed of a material such as acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyimide, polyethylene PE, or silicon oxycarbon SiOC.
[0166] The third encapsulation layer may be formed on the second encapsulation layer. The third encapsulation layer may be formed of the same material as the first encapsulation layer, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the third encapsulation layer may be formed of a different material from the first encapsulation layer.
[0167] In addition, the encapsulation layer is not limited to three layers, and for example, may include n layers (where n is an integer greater than 3) in which inorganic encapsulation layers and organic encapsulation layers are alternately stacked.
[0168] A black matrix BM may be disposed on the encapsulation member 180 . The black matrix BM may be disposed between the plurality of sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP to reduce color mixing of the plurality of sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. Therefore, the black matrix BM may be disposed to overlap the bank insulating layer 116 .
[0169] The touch insulating layer 117 is disposed on the black matrix BM. The touch insulating layer 117 may be disposed between the encapsulation member 180 , the black matrix BM, and the touch electrode 190 , and configured to insulate the touch electrode 190 .
[0170] The touch insulating layer 117 may include an insulating material. For example, the touch insulating layer 117 may include an organic insulating material or an inorganic insulating material. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0171] A plurality of touch electrodes 190 may be located on the touch insulating layer 117. In the display area, the plurality of touch electrodes 190 may be disposed above the first light emitting element 140 and the second light emitting element 150. The plurality of touch electrodes 190 may be disposed on the touch insulating layer 117 and spaced apart from each other. The plurality of touch electrodes 190 may be configured to sense a touch input applied from the outside by a user's finger, a touch pen, or the like.
[0172] Reference Figure 5 and Figure 6, the plurality of touch electrodes 190 are disposed to overlap the bank insulating layer 116 and the black matrix BM. Therefore, the plurality of touch electrodes 190 may be configured to minimize the limitation of the route of light generated by the first light emitting element 140 and the second light emitting element 150.
[0173] For example, the plurality of touch electrodes 190 may include a metal material such as titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), silver (Ag), copper (Cu), or magnesium-silver alloy (Mg:Ag). However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0174] In addition, a touch buffer layer may be provided between the packaging member 180 and the touch electrode 190. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In addition, in addition to the touch electrode 190, a touch bridge electrode may be provided on the packaging member 180. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0175] refer to Figure 5 and Figure 6 , the first lens 161 and the plurality of second lenses 162 may be located on the encapsulation member 180 and the touch electrode 190 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. The first lens 161 and the plurality of second lenses 162 may be disposed to cover the edges of the plurality of touch electrodes 190. The first lens 161 may be disposed to correspond to the first light emitting element 140, and the plurality of second lenses 162 may be disposed to correspond to the second light emitting element 150. For example, the width of the first lens 161 may be disposed to be greater than the interval between two adjacent touch electrodes 190, and the width of each of the plurality of second lenses 162 may be disposed to be greater than the interval between two adjacent touch electrodes 190. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0176] The first lens 161 may be located in the first lens areas RWE, GWE, and BWE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP.
[0177] For example, light generated by the first light emitting element 140 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be emitted through the first lens 161 in the corresponding sub-pixel RSP, GSP, and BSP.
[0178] The first lens 161 may have a shape in which light in at least one direction may not be restricted. For example, a planar shape of the first lens 161 located in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be a stripe extending in the first direction.
[0179] In this case, the propagation direction of the light emitted from the first lens areas RWE, GWE and BWE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP and BSP is not limited to the first direction. For example, the content (or image) provided by the first lens areas RWE, GWE and BWE in the pixel PX can be shared with the surrounding people adjacent to the user in the first direction. The case where the content is provided through the first lens areas RWE, GWE and BWE is a mode of providing the content within a first viewing angle range greater than the second viewing angle range provided by the second lens areas RNE, GNE and BNE, and this mode can be referred to as the first mode.
[0180] A plurality of second lenses 162 may be located in the second lens areas RNE, GNE, and BNE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP.
[0181] For example, light generated by the second light emitting element 150 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be emitted through the plurality of second lenses 162 in the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. In this case, the plurality of second lenses 162 may limit the propagation direction of light passing through the second lenses 162 to the first direction and / or the second direction.
[0182] For example, the plane shape of each of the plurality of second lenses 162 located in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be a square shape. In this case, the propagation direction of light emitted from the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be limited to the first direction and the second direction. However, the plane shape of each of the plurality of second lenses 162 may also be a circular shape. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0183] For example, the content provided by the second lens areas RNE, GNE, and BNE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may not be shared with people around the adjacent user. The case where content is provided through the second lens areas RNE, GNE, and BNE is a mode of providing content within a second viewing angle range that is smaller than the first viewing angle range provided by the first lens areas RWE, GWE, and BWE, and this mode may be referred to as a second mode.
[0184] The regions of the subpixels RSP, GSP, and BSP where the first lenses 161 are disposed may be referred to as first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1. For example, the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1 may be regions where light generated by the first light emitting element 140 is emitted through the first lenses 161.
[0185] The regions where the second lenses 162 are disposed in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP and BSP may be referred to as second light emitting regions RE2, GE2 and BE2. For example, the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2 and BE2 may be regions where light generated by the second light emitting element 150 is emitted through the second lenses 162.
[0186] The first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1 included in the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may have a shape corresponding to the plurality of first lenses 161 located in the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE in the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. For example, the planar shapes of the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1 defined in the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may each be a strip extending in the first direction. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0187] The first lens 161 located in each of the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may have the same size as each of the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1 included in the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE in the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. Alternatively, the first lens 161 may have a larger size than each of the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1. For example, the size of the first lens 161 may be equal to or larger than the size of a corresponding one of the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1. Therefore, the efficiency of light emitted from the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1 in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be improved.
[0188] The second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 included in the plurality of second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may have a shape corresponding to the plurality of second lenses 162 located in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE in the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. For example, the plane shapes of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 included in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be polygonal or circular shapes. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0189] Each of the plurality of second lenses 162 located in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may have the same size as each of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 included in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE of the corresponding sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. Alternatively, the plurality of second lenses 162 may each have a larger size than each of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2. For example, the size of each of the plurality of second lenses 162 may be equal to or larger than the size of a corresponding one of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2. Therefore, the efficiency of light emitted from the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be improved.
[0190] In an exemplary embodiment, the first lens area RWE, GWE or BWE in one sub-pixel RSP, GSP or BSP may include one first light emitting area RE1, GE1 or BE1. The second lens area RNE, GNE or BNE may include a plurality of second light emitting areas RE2, GE2 or BE2 in one sub-pixel RSP, GSP or BSP.
[0191] In an exemplary embodiment, one first lens 161 may be disposed in the first lens area RWE, GWE or BWE in one subpixel RSP, GSP or BSP, and a plurality of second lenses 162 may be disposed in the second lens area RNE, GNE or BNE in one subpixel RSP, GSP or BSP.
[0192] In an exemplary embodiment, the sizes of the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1 for the respective sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be different from each other. For example, the first light emitting region BE1 in the blue sub-pixel BSP may have a size different from the first light emitting region GE1 in the green sub-pixel GSP, and have a size different from the first light emitting region RE1 in the red sub-pixel RSP. The size of the first light emitting region BE1 in the blue sub-pixel BSP may be larger than the size of the first light emitting region GE1 in the green sub-pixel GSP. The size of the first light emitting region GE1 in the green sub-pixel GSP may be larger than the size of the first light emitting region RE1 in the red sub-pixel RSP. Therefore, in the display device according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the efficiency deviation between the first light emitting elements 140 located in the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be compensated by the sizes of the first light emitting regions RE1, GE1, and BE1 defined in the first lens regions RWE, GWE, and BWE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP.
[0193] In an exemplary embodiment, the areas of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE located in the plurality of sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be specified as specific values. For example, the areas of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 located in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE may be implemented to be equal to each other. The area of each of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE located in the plurality of sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be equal to the area of each of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 included in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE in the adjacent sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The areas of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 located in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE may also be implemented to be unequal to each other.
[0194] In an exemplary embodiment, the number of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 may vary according to the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. For example, the number of the second light emitting regions BE2 defined in the second lens region BNE in the blue sub-pixel BSP and the number of the second light emitting regions GE2 defined in the second lens region GNE in the green sub-pixel GSP may be greater than the number of the second light emitting regions RE2 defined in the second lens region RNE in the red sub-pixel RSP. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In this case, the efficiency deviation between the second light emitting elements 150 located in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may be compensated by the number of the second light emitting regions RE2, GE2, and BE2 defined in the second lens regions RNE, GNE, and BNE in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP.
[0195] In an exemplary embodiment, the lens protection layer 170 may be located on the first lens 161 and the plurality of second lenses 162 in the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. The lens protection layer 170 may include an insulating material. For example, the lens protection layer 170 may include an organic insulating material. The refractive index of the lens protection layer 170 may be smaller than the refractive index of the first lens 161 and the refractive index of the second lens 162 located in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP. Therefore, in the display device 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, light having passed through the first lens 161 and the second lens 162 in each of the sub-pixels RSP, GSP, and BSP may not be reflected toward the substrate 110 due to the different refractive index from the lens protection layer 170.
[0196] In the display device, the first lens and the plurality of second lenses may all be disposed above the light-emitting element, the black matrix, and the touch electrode in one sub-pixel so as to selectively provide different viewing angle modes to the user. In this case, a portion of the light emitted from the light-emitting element on which the plurality of second lenses are disposed may be reflected by the black matrix in the region between the plurality of second lenses on the upper side of the light-emitting element. The black matrix is made of a material that absorbs light, but the black matrix cannot absorb 100% of the amount of light entering the black matrix. Therefore, a portion of the light entering the black matrix may be reflected by the bottom surface of the black matrix. In addition, the light reflected by the black matrix may be reflected by the lower electrode, and the light may leak through another second lens adjacent to or different from the second lens disposed above the point where the light is emitted. In addition, due to the leakage of the above-mentioned light, the light is emitted at a relatively high angle, which may distort the viewing angle range provided by the plurality of second lenses. For this reason, the function of the plurality of second lenses that are set to restrictively provide the viewing angle range to the user may be degraded. In addition, the functional degradation of the plurality of second lenses may lead to the following problem: even in a mode in which the content is not shared with people around the adjacent user, the content (or image) is shared. For example, in the case where the person who does not need to share the content is the driver of the vehicle, serious safety issues may occur.
[0197] In the display device 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the opening portion OP1 is provided in the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 151 in the region corresponding to the region between the plurality of second lenses 162, which can minimize or reduce the extent to which light emitted from the second light emitting element 150 is reflected by the second lower electrode 151 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162.
[0198] Specifically, the opening portion OP1 is provided in the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 151 and overlaps with the region between the plurality of second lenses 162. In this case, a portion of the light emitted from the second light emitting element 150 may be reflected by the black matrix BM toward the second lower electrode 151 of the second light emitting element 150 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162 on the upper side of the second light emitting element 150. However, as Figure 6 As shown, the light L reflected by the black matrix BM may reach the opening portion OP1 of the reflective layer 151a. Therefore, the light L reflected from the black matrix BM toward the second lower electrode 151 may not be reflected by the reflective layer 151a, which may reduce or minimize the light L' reflected toward another adjacent second lens 162. In addition, the second lower electrode 151 may reduce or minimize the reflection of the light emitted from the second light emitting element 150 and the reflection of the external light, which may provide a low-reflection display device 100.
[0199] In the display device 100 according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, light L′ emitted from the second light emitting element 150 and reflected by the second lower electrode 151 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162 is reduced or minimized, which can suppress distortion of the viewing angle range provided by the plurality of second lenses 162 .
[0200] Specifically, in the display device 100 according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the opening portion OP1 is disposed in the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 151 and overlaps with the region between the plurality of second lenses 162, which can reduce or minimize the extent to which the light emitted by the second light emitting element 150 is reflected by the second lower electrode 151 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162. Therefore, the high-angle leakage of light caused when the light emitted from the second light emitting element 150 is emitted at a relatively high angle through another second lens 162 adjacent to or different from the second lens 162 disposed above the point at which the light is emitted can be reduced or minimized. Therefore, the distortion of the viewing angle range provided by the plurality of second lenses 162 can be suppressed, and the reliability associated with the function of the display device 100 of selectively providing different viewing angle modes can be improved. Therefore, the serious safety problem that occurs when the content is shared with the driver of the vehicle when it is not necessary to share with the driver of the vehicle can be avoided or minimized.
[0201] Fig. 7A is an enlarged top view of a display device according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 7B is along Fig. 7A In addition to the opening portion OP2 also being provided in the transparent conductive layer 751b of the second lower electrode 751, Fig. 7A and Figure 7B The display device 700 in FIG. 1 is configured similarly to Figures 1 to 6 The display device 100 in FIG. 1 is substantially the same as that in FIG. 1 . Therefore, repeated description of the same components will be omitted.
[0202] Reference Fig. 7A and Figure 7B , the opening portion OP2 is disposed in the reflective layer 151a and the transparent conductive layer 751b of the second lower electrode 751, and overlaps with a region between the plurality of second lenses 162. In this case, the transparent conductive layer 751b is disposed in a region overlapping with the reflective layer 151a.
[0203] refer to Fig. 7A, the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 751 includes a first portion 151a-1, a plurality of second portions 151a-2, and a third portion 151a-3, and the transparent conductive layer 751b of the second lower electrode 751 includes a first portion 751b-1, a plurality of second portions 751b-2, and a third portion 751b-3. In addition, the opening portion OP2 has a hole shape surrounded by the first portion 151a-1, a plurality of second portions 151a-2, and a third portion 151a-3 of the reflective layer 151a and the first portion 751b-1, a plurality of second portions 751b-2, and a third portion 751b-3 of the transparent conductive layer 751b.
[0204] refer to Fig. 7A , the first portion 151a-1 of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 751 and the first portion 751b-1 of the transparent conductive layer 751b may include a portion of the reflective layer 151a, a portion of the transparent conductive layer 751b, and a portion extending outward from a portion of the reflective layer 151a and a portion of the transparent conductive layer 751b to be connected to the second transistor T2. Therefore, the first portions 151a-1 and 751b-1 may be connected to the second transistor T2. For example, the first portions 151a-1 and 751b-1 may be connected to the second transistor T2 through a contact hole formed in the overcoat layer 115 in a region corresponding to a portion extending outward from a portion of the reflective layer 151a and a portion of the transparent conductive layer 751b. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0205] refer to Fig. 7A , a plurality of second portions 151a-2 of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 751 and a plurality of second portions 751b-2 of the transparent conductive layer 751b extend from the first portions 151a-1 and 751b-1 and are disposed to overlap with the plurality of second lenses 162. The plurality of second portions 151a-2 and 751b-2 may be portions corresponding to regions of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 751 and the transparent conductive layer 751b where the plurality of second lenses 162 are disposed.
[0206] refer to Fig. 7A , the third portion 151a-3 of the reflective layer 151a of the second lower electrode 751 and the third portion 751b-3 of the transparent conductive layer 751b are portions of the reflective layer 151a and the transparent conductive layer 751b disposed opposite to the first portions 151a-1 and 751b-1 based on the plurality of second portions 151a-2 and 751b-2. The third portions 151a-3 and 751b-3 may be disposed opposite to the first portions 151a-1 and 751b-1 and connect the plurality of second portions 151a-2 and 751b-2.
[0207] refer to Figure 7B, the transparent conductive layer 751b is disposed in a region overlapping the reflective layer 151a. Therefore, the bank insulating layer 116 may be disposed in the opening portion OP2. That is, the bank insulating layer 116 may be disposed on the overcoat layer 115 through the opening portion OP2 of the second lower electrode 751.
[0208] In the display device 700 according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the opening portion OP2 is provided in the reflective layer 151a and the transparent conductive layer 751b of the second lower electrode 751 in the region corresponding to the region between the plurality of second lenses 162, which can reduce or minimize the extent to which light emitted from the second light emitting element 750 is reflected by the second lower electrode 751 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162.
[0209] Specifically, the opening portion OP2 is disposed in the reflective layer 151a and the transparent conductive layer 751b of the second lower electrode 751 and overlaps with the region between the plurality of second lenses 162. That is, even in the case where the transparent conductive layer 751b is made of a transparent conductive material, the transparent conductive layer 751b cannot transmit all of the light entering the transparent conductive layer 751b, and the transparent conductive layer 751b reflects a portion of the light. Therefore, in the display device 700 according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the opening portion OP2 is disposed not only in the reflective layer 151a but also in the transparent conductive layer 751b. In this case, a portion of the light emitted from the second light emitting element 750 may be reflected by the black matrix BM toward the second lower electrode 751 of the second light emitting element 750 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162 on the upper side of the second light emitting element 750. However, as Figure 7B As shown, the light L reflected by the black matrix BM may reach the opening portion OP2 of the reflective layer 151a and the transparent conductive layer 751b. Therefore, the light L reflected from the black matrix BM toward the second lower electrode 751 may not be reflected by the reflective layer 151a and the transparent conductive layer 751b, which may further reduce or minimize the light L' reflected toward another adjacent second lens 162. In addition, the second lower electrode 751 may reduce or minimize the reflection of the light emitted from the second light emitting element 750 and the reflection of the external light, which may provide a low-reflection display device 700.
[0210] In the display device 700 according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, light L′ emitted from the second light emitting element 750 and reflected by the second lower electrode 751 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162 is reduced or minimized, which can suppress distortion of the viewing angle range provided by the plurality of second lenses 162.
[0211] Specifically, in the display device 700 according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the opening portion OP2 is disposed in the reflective layer 151a and the transparent conductive layer 751b of the second lower electrode 751 and overlaps with the region between the plurality of second lenses 162, which can reduce or minimize the extent to which the light emitted from the second light emitting element 750 is reflected by the second lower electrode 751 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162. Therefore, the high-angle leakage of light caused when the light emitted from the second light emitting element 750 is emitted at a relatively high angle through another second lens 162 adjacent to or different from the second lens 162 disposed above the point at which the light is emitted can be further reduced or minimized. Therefore, the distortion of the viewing angle range provided by the plurality of second lenses 162 can be suppressed, and the reliability associated with the function of the display device 700 of selectively providing different viewing angle modes can be further improved. Therefore, the serious safety problem that occurs when the content is shared with the driver of the vehicle when the content does not need to be shared with the driver of the vehicle can be further avoided or minimized.
[0212] Figure 8 FIG. 1 is an enlarged top view of a display device according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. In addition to the planar shape of the opening portion OP3, Figure 8 The display device 800 in the embodiment is configured similar to Fig. 7A and Figure 7B The display device 700 in FIG. 1 is substantially the same as that in FIG. 1 . Therefore, repeated description will be omitted.
[0213] Reference Figure 8 , the opening portion OP3 is disposed in the reflective layer 851a and the transparent conductive layer 851b of the second lower electrode 851, and overlaps with a region between the plurality of second lenses 162. In this case, the transparent conductive layer 851b is disposed in a region overlapping with the reflective layer 851a.
[0214] refer to Figure 8 , the reflective layer 851a of the second lower electrode 851 includes a first portion 851a-1 and a plurality of second portions 851a-2, and the transparent conductive layer 851b of the second lower electrode 851 includes a first portion 851b-1 and a plurality of second portions 851b-2. In addition, the planar shape of the opening portion OP3 may be a groove shape opened on a side opposite to the first portions 851a-1 and 851b-1.
[0215] refer to Figure 8, the first portion 851a-1 of the reflective layer 851a of the second lower electrode 851 and the first portion 851b-1 of the transparent conductive layer 851b may include a portion of the reflective layer 851a, a portion of the transparent conductive layer 851b, and a portion extending outward from a portion of the reflective layer 851a and a portion of the transparent conductive layer 851b to be connected to the second transistor T2. Therefore, the first portions 851a-1 and 851b-1 may be connected to the second transistor T2. For example, the first portions 851a-1 and 851b-1 may be connected to the second transistor T2 through a contact hole formed in the overcoat layer 115 in a region corresponding to a portion extending outward from a portion of the reflective layer 851a and a portion of the transparent conductive layer 851b. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0216] refer to Figure 8 , a plurality of second portions 851a-2 of the reflective layer 851a of the second lower electrode 851 and a plurality of second portions 851b-2 of the transparent conductive layer 851b extend from the first portions 851a-1 and 851b-1 and are disposed to overlap with the plurality of second lenses 162. The plurality of second portions 851a-2 and 851b-2 may be portions corresponding to regions of the reflective layer 851a and the transparent conductive layer 851b of the second lower electrode 851 where the plurality of second lenses 162 are disposed.
[0217] In the display device 800 according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the opening portion OP3 is provided in the reflective layer 851a and the transparent conductive layer 851b of the second lower electrode 851 in the region corresponding to the region between the plurality of second lenses 162, which can reduce or minimize the extent to which light emitted from the second light emitting element 850 is reflected by the second lower electrode 851 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162.
[0218] Specifically, the opening portion OP3 is provided in the reflective layer 851a and the transparent conductive layer 851b of the second lower electrode 851 and overlaps with the region between the plurality of second lenses 162. In this case, a portion of the light emitted from the second light emitting element 850 may be reflected by the black matrix BM toward the second lower electrode 851 of the second light emitting element 850 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162 on the upper side of the second light emitting element 850. However, as Figure 8As shown, the light L reflected by the black matrix BM may reach the opening portion OP3 of the reflective layer 851a and the transparent conductive layer 851b. Therefore, the light L reflected from the black matrix BM toward the second lower electrode 851 may not be reflected by the reflective layer 851a and the transparent conductive layer 851b, which may further reduce or minimize the light L' reflected toward another adjacent second lens 162. In addition, the second lower electrode 851 may reduce or minimize the reflection of the light emitted from the second light emitting element 850 and the reflection of the external light, which may provide a low-reflection display device 800.
[0219] In the display device 800 according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, light L′ emitted from the second light emitting element 850 and reflected by the second lower electrode 851 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162 is reduced or minimized, which can suppress distortion of the viewing angle range provided by the plurality of second lenses 162.
[0220] Specifically, in the display device 800 according to another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the opening portion OP3 is disposed in the reflective layer 851a and the transparent conductive layer 851b of the second lower electrode 851 and overlaps with the region between the plurality of second lenses 162, which can reduce or minimize the extent to which the light emitted from the second light emitting element 850 is reflected by the second lower electrode 851 in the region between the plurality of second lenses 162. Therefore, the high-angle leakage of light caused when the light emitted from the second light emitting element 850 is emitted at a relatively high angle through another second lens 162 adjacent to or different from the second lens 162 disposed above the point at which the light is emitted can be further reduced or minimized. Therefore, the distortion of the viewing angle range provided by the plurality of second lenses 162 can be suppressed, and the reliability associated with the function of the display device 800 of selectively providing different viewing angle modes can be further improved. Therefore, the serious safety problem that occurs when the content is shared with the driver of the vehicle when the content does not need to be shared with the driver of the vehicle can be further avoided or minimized.
