[0031] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0032] <Overall structure>
[0033] First, the overall structure of an embodiment of the sofa of the present invention will be described.
[0034] Figure 1 This is a front view of an embodiment of the sofa of the present invention. Figure 2 This is Figure 1 The top view of the sofa 1 shown.
[0035] In this embodiment, as Figure 1 and Figure 2 shown, the sofa 1 has a seat surface portion 10, a backrest portion 20, an armrest portion 30, a table 40, and a holding member 50.
[0036] The seat surface portion 10 is the portion located below the buttocks and a part of the thighs when a person sits on the sofa 1, has a certain height, and is formed facing upward. The seat surface portion 10 may also have cushioning by incorporating polyurethane or springs inside. In this embodiment, a structure in which three people can sit side by side is illustrated, but the number of people who can sit is not limited to three. In addition, in the case where multiple people can sit, the portions corresponding to the people sitting may also have cushioning independently of each other.
[0037] The backrest portion 20 is the portion that supports the back from the rear by contacting the back when a person sits on the sofa 1. The backrest portion 20 is connected to the rear end of the seat surface portion 10 and stands upward in a state slightly inclined backward from the rear end of the seat surface portion 10. In addition, the backrest portion 20 may also be a so-called high-back type that also supports the back head of the person sitting on the sofa 1. The backrest portion 20 may also have cushioning by incorporating polyurethane or springs inside. In this embodiment, a structure in which three people can sit side by side is illustrated, but the number of people who can sit is not limited to three. In addition, in the case where multiple people can sit, the portions corresponding to the people sitting may also have cushioning independently of each other. Furthermore, the seat surface portion 10 and the backrest portion 20 may also be made into a structure in which the portions corresponding to the people sitting can be separated from each other.
[0038] The armrest portion 30 is provided by being connected to both ends of the seat surface portion 10 respectively. In the present embodiment, since the sofa 1 is one where three people can sit side by side horizontally, the armrest portion 30 has two armrest portions 30 for a person sitting at the left end of the seat surface portion 10 to place their left elbow and for a person sitting at the right end of the seat surface portion 10 to place their right elbow. The armrest portion 30 has a covering 30a and a base portion 30b. The base portion 30b is erected by being connected to both ends of the seat surface portion 10 respectively. The covering 30a constitutes an example of the covering portion of the present invention. The covering 30a is provided so as to cover the upper surface of the base portion 30b and constitutes a portion for a person sitting on the sofa 1 to place their elbow. The covering 30a may also have cushioning by incorporating polyurethane or the like inside.
[0039] The table 40 is configured as a rectangular plate shape. The table 40 is housed in a standing posture inside the base portion 30b of the armrest portion 30 when not in use. The table 40 is taken out from the armrest portion 30 and becomes a horizontal posture when in use. In Figure 1 and Figure 2 shows a state where the table 40 is housed in the armrest portion 30 on the right side in the figure and the table 40 is taken out from the armrest portion 30 on the left side in the figure. In addition, the shape of the table 40 is only required to be a shape in which the table 40 can be housed in the base portion 30b, and is not limited to a rectangle, and may also be a square or a circle, or the corners of a rectangular or other rectangular shape may have roundness.
[0040] The holding member 50 is a curved cylindrical shape and holds the table 40 by having one end mounted on the table 40. Its detailed structure will be described later.
[0041] <The internal structure of the armrest portion 30>
[0042] Next, an explanation will be given of Figure 1 the internal structure of the armrest portion 30 shown.
[0043] Figure 3 is a diagram showing Figure 1 the structure inside the base portion 30b of the armrest portion 30 shown, and is a diagram of the left armrest portion 30 in Figure 1 viewed obliquely from the rear. In addition, Figure 1 the right armrest portion 30 in
[0044] Figure 1 The armrest portion 30 shown is as in Figure 3As shown, the base 30b has a receiving portion 31 with an upper surface opening. The end portion on the opening side of the base 30b has opening edges 32a and 32b with different heights. The opening edge 32a forms the upper ends of the side surfaces of the base 30b on the side opposite to the seat surface portion 10 and the front and rear side surfaces of the sofa 1. The opening edge 32b is lower than the opening edge 32a and forms the upper ends of the side surfaces of the base 30b on the seat surface portion 10 side and the front and rear side surfaces of the sofa 1. In addition, the front and rear side surfaces of the base 30b of the sofa 1 are structured such that the opening edge 32b exists inside the opening edge 32a (see Figure 6 ). On the portion of the opening edge 32b that forms the upper end of the side surface on the seat surface portion 10 side, a recessed portion 34 that is recessed downward is provided by cutting off a part of it. Further, a cylindrical support column 35 is provided in the receiving portion 31. One end of the support column 35 is fixed to the bottom surface of the receiving portion 31 and extends upward from there. A plate-shaped fixing member 36 is mounted on the portion of the opening edge 32b that forms the upper end of the front side surface of the sofa 1. The fixing member 36 has a shape that protrudes from the opening edge 32b toward the inside of the receiving portion 31, and the other end of the support column 35 is fixed to the fixing member 36. Thus, the support column 35 is provided to extend in the vertical direction in the area of the receiving portion 31 on the front side of the sofa 1.
[0045] For the base 30b configured in this way, a covering cover 30a is mounted on the portion of the opening edge 32a that forms the upper end of the side surface on the side opposite to the seat surface portion 10, and by rotating the covering cover 30a around the opening edge 32a, the receiving portion 31 can be covered in an openable and closable manner.
[0046] <Structure of the holding member 50>
[0047] Next, an explanation will be given of Figure 1 the structure of the holding member 50 shown.
[0048] Figure 4 is a diagram showing Figure 1 the structure of the holding member 50 shown, and is a front view of the sofa 1 when the table 40 is removed from the armrest portion 30 and is in a horizontal posture. Figure 5 is a diagram for explaining Figure 4 the relationship between the holding member 50 and the table 40 shown, and shows the structure of the surface of the table 40 on which the holding member 50 is mounted.
[0049] Figure 1 The holding member 50 shown as Figure 4 shown has a sliding cylinder 51, a connecting pipe 52, and rotating fixing members 53, 54.
[0050] The sliding cylinder 51 is mounted on the support column 35 by enclosing the support column 35 within the cylinder. The sliding cylinder 51 is mounted so as to be movable relative to the support column 35 in the vertical direction ( Figure 4 in the A direction in the figure) and rotatable about the support column 35 in the horizontal direction ( Figure 4 in the B direction in the figure).
[0051] One end of the connecting pipe 52 is mounted on the sliding cylinder 51, and the other end is mounted on the rotation fixing member 53. It is composed of three continuous support portions 52a to 52c. The support portion 52a is an example of the first support portion of the present invention. One end of the support portion 52a is mounted on the sliding cylinder 51 and extends therefrom in a direction away from the support column 35. One end of the support portion 52b is continuous with the end of the support portion 52a on the side opposite to the sliding cylinder 51, and extends therefrom at a predetermined angle in a direction away from the support column 35 with respect to the extending direction of the support column 35. One end of the support portion 52c is continuous with the end of the support portion 52b on the side opposite to the support portion 52a, and extends therefrom parallel to the support portion 52a toward the support column 35 side. The end of the support portion 52c on the side opposite to the support portion 52b is mounted on the rotation fixing member 53. Thus, the connecting pipe 52 becomes a cylindrical shape having two bent regions between one end and the other end. In addition, the support portion 52b and the support portion 52c constitute an example of the second support portion of the present invention. The connecting pipe 52 is composed of the three support portions 52a to 52c as described above, whereby when the table 40 is taken out from the armrest portion 30 and becomes a horizontal posture, the rotation fixing member 53 is in a state of being located at a position on the seat surface portion 10 side at a distance of X1 from the support column 35.
[0052] The rotation fixing member 53 is, as Figure 4 and Figure 5 shown, in a cylindrical shape and has an insertion hole (not shown) on the side surface for inserting the support portion 52c. The rotation fixing member 53 is mounted so as to be rotatable about the axis of the support portion 52c in a direction (direction C in the figure) inclined with respect to the main surface of the table 40 by inserting the support portion 52c into the insertion hole. On the rotation fixing member 53, a lock release member 55 is provided so as to protrude from the side surface of the rotation fixing member 53. The lock release member 55 is used to release the lock of the rotation of the support portion 52c relative to the rotation fixing member 53 and is biased toward the center of the rotation fixing member 53 by a spring (not shown) or the like.
[0053] The rotation fixing member 54 is mounted on the rotation fixing member 53. The rotation fixing member 54 has a frustum shape, as Figure 4 and Figure 5As shown, it is mounted on the rotary fixing member 53 in such a manner that the top surface faces the bottom surface of the rotary fixing member 53. At this time, it may also be configured such that the shape of the bottom surface of the rotary fixing member 53 is the same as the shape of the top surface of the rotary fixing member 54. In addition, a table 40 is mounted on the bottom surface of the rotary fixing member 54. The rotary fixing member 54 is mounted on the surface of the main surface of the table 40 on the side opposite to the use surface of the table 40 (hereinafter referred to as the back surface) with screws (not shown) or the like. In addition, the mounting position of the rotary fixing member 54 on the table 40 may be a region that is in the central portion in the short side direction of the rectangular table 40 and along one short side in the long side direction. On one of these rotary fixing members 53 and 54, a rotary shaft (not shown) extending from the bottom surface of the rotary fixing member 53 or the top surface of the rotary fixing member 54 is provided, and on the other of the rotary fixing members 53 and 54, a cylindrical groove for the rotary shaft to enter is provided. Thus, the rotary fixing member 54 can rotate relative to the rotary fixing member 53 in the in-plane direction of the table 40 ( Figure 5 in the D direction in
[0054] By adopting such a structure, one end of the connecting pipe 52 is mounted on the support column 35 via the sliding cylinder 51, and the other end is mounted on the back surface of the table 40 via the rotary fixing members 53 and 54. And the table 40 can rotate in the direction in which the main surface is inclined with respect to the connecting pipe 52 ( Figure 5 in the C direction in Figure 5 and can rotate relative to the rotary fixing member 53 in the direction parallel to the main surface (
[0055] On the table 40, a groove portion 41 recessed from the back surface is provided along one end edge of the surface on which the rotary fixing member 54 is mounted.
[0056] <Storage form of the table 40>
[0057] Next, the state in which the table 40 is stored in the armrest portion 30 will be described.
[0058] Figure 6 is a view of the state in which the table 40 is stored in the armrest portion 30 as viewed from above, Figure 7 is a perspective view of the state in which the table 40 is stored in the armrest portion 30 as viewed from the side.
[0059] In Figure 1 the sofa 1 shown, the table 40 is stored in the armrest portion 30 as described above. The table 40 is stored in the storage portion 31 of the armrest portion 30 in an upright posture as shown in Figure 6 and Figure 7 shown.
[0060] At this time, the sliding cylinder 51 is located at the lowermost position of the support column 35. Since the sliding cylinder 51 is mounted so as to be movable relative to the support column 35 in the vertical direction as described above, this can be achieved by moving the sliding cylinder 51 along the support column 35 to the lowermost position.
[0061] In addition, the connecting pipe 52 is in a state of being along the table 40. Since one end of the connecting pipe 52 is mounted on the sliding cylinder 51 as described above, and the sliding cylinder 51 is mounted so as to be rotatable about the support column 35 in the horizontal direction, this can be achieved by rotating the sliding cylinder 51 about the support column 35 so that the connecting pipe 52 is along the table 40.
[0062] In addition, the rectangular table 40 is oriented such that its long side extends in the horizontal direction. Since the rotation fixing member 54 mounted on the back surface of the table 40 can rotate relative to the rotation fixing member 53 mounted on the end portion of the connecting pipe 52 on the side opposite to the sliding cylinder 51 in a direction parallel to the main surface of the table 40 as described above, this can be achieved by rotating the table 40 so that the long side of the table 40 extends in the horizontal direction. In this way, by setting the long side of the table 40 to extend in the horizontal direction, a structure can be formed in which the table 40 can be housed in the housing portion 31 without shortening the length of the long side of the table 40 even when the depth of the housing portion 31 is shallow.
[0063] <Usage method of the table 40>
[0064] Next, the procedure for taking out and using the table 40 housed in the armrest portion 30 as described above will be described.
[0065] Figures 8 to 14 It is a view for explaining the procedure for taking out and using the table 40 housed in the armrest portion 30, and is a perspective view of the armrest portion 30 as viewed from the front side of the seat surface portion 10.
[0066] When taking out and using the table 40 housed in the armrest portion 30, first, as Figure 8 shown, the cover 30a is opened to a state where the table 40 can be taken out from the housing portion 31. Since the cover 30a is mounted so as to be rotatable relative to the base portion 30b about the opening edge 32a as described above, the cover 30a can be rotated about the opening edge 32a to a state where the table 40 can be taken out from the housing portion 31.
[0067] Next, as Figure 9 shown, the table 40 housed in the housing portion 31 is moved upward ( Figure 9Pull it out vertically in the direction of E in the figure. The table 40 is installed on the connecting pipe 52 via the rotary fixing members 53 and 54 as described above. In addition, the connecting pipe 52 is installed via the sliding cylinder 51 so as to be movable in the vertical direction relative to the column 35. Therefore, by moving the table 40 together with the connecting pipe 52 vertically upward along the column 35, the table 40 housed in the housing portion 31 can be pulled out vertically upward. At this time, as described above, a groove portion 41 is provided along one end edge of the surface on which the rotary fixing member 54 is installed on the table 40. Therefore, if the table 40 is housed in the housing portion 31 with the end edge along which the groove portion 41 extends being the upper end portion in the state where the table 40 is housed in the housing portion 31, the table 40 housed in the housing portion 31 can be easily pulled out by catching a finger in the groove portion 41.
[0068] Next, as Figure 10 shown, rotate the table 40 pulled out upward from the housing portion 31 by 90° in the direction parallel to the main surface ( Figure 10 direction of F in the figure). The table 40 has the rotary fixing member 54 installed on the back surface as described above. In addition, the rotary fixing member 53 is installed at one end of the connecting pipe 52. And the rotary fixing member 54 is installed so as to be rotatable relative to the rotary fixing member 53 in the direction parallel to the main surface of the table 40. Therefore, the table 40 pulled out upward from the housing portion 31 can be rotated by 90° in the direction parallel to the main surface. As a result, the rectangular table 40 becomes a state where the long side faces the vertical direction.
[0069] Next, as Figure 11 shown, rotate the table 40 together with the connecting pipe 52 until the use surface (hereinafter referred to as the surface) of the table 40 in the main surface of the table 40 faces the rear of the sofa 1 ( Figure 11 direction of G in the figure). The table 40 is installed on the connecting pipe 52 via the rotary fixing members 53 and 54 as described above. In addition, one end of the connecting pipe 52 is installed on the sliding cylinder 51, and the sliding cylinder 51 is installed so as to be rotatable about the column 35 in the horizontal direction. Therefore, the table 40 can be rotated together with the connecting pipe 52 about the column 35 so that the surface of the table 40 faces the rear of the sofa 1.
[0070] In this way, by rotating the table 40 in the state where the long side of the rectangular table 40 faces the vertical direction, even when the length of the long side of the table 40 is relatively long, it is possible to prevent the rotating table 40 from hitting a person when the person is seated on the sofa 1.
[0071] Thus, the support portion 52a of the connecting pipe 52 is located on the upper end portion of the side surface on the seat surface 10 side of the opening edge 32b of the base portion 30b. On the upper end portion of the side surface on the seat surface 10 side of the opening edge 32b, a recessed portion 34 that is recessed downward is provided as described above. Therefore, by pushing down the connecting pipe 52 and the table 40 together downward ( Figure 11 in the H direction), the support portion 52a of the connecting pipe 52 can be fitted into the recessed portion 34.
[0072] Next, as Figure 12 shown, it is rotated in the direction inclined to the main surface of the table 40 ( Figure 12 in the I direction) so that the table 40 changes from the upright posture to the horizontal posture. The table 40 is mounted on the rotary fixing member 53 via the rotary fixing member 54 as described above. In addition, the rotary fixing member 53 is mounted so as to be rotatable about the axis of the support portion 52c in the direction inclined to the main surface of the table 40 with respect to the support portion 52c of the connecting pipe 52. Therefore, it can be rotated in the direction inclined to the main surface of the table 40 so that the table 40 changes from the upright posture to the horizontal posture. And if the table 40 changes from the upright posture to the horizontal posture, the rotation of the support portion 52c with respect to the rotary fixing member 53 is locked.
[0073] Next, as Figure 13 shown, the table 40 that has changed from the upright posture to the horizontal posture is rotated 90° in the direction parallel to the main surface ( Figure 13 in the J direction). The table 40 is mounted with the rotary fixing member 54 on the back surface as described above. In addition, the rotary fixing member 53 is mounted on one end of the connecting pipe 52. And the rotary fixing member 54 is mounted so as to be rotatable with respect to the rotary fixing member 53 in the direction parallel to the main surface of the table 40. Therefore, the table 40 that has changed from the upright posture to the horizontal posture can be rotated 90° in the direction parallel to the main surface. Thus, the rectangular table 40 becomes such that its long side extends in the left - right direction of the person sitting on the sofa 1, and the table 40 can be used wider in the left - right direction.
[0074] Then, as Figure 14 shown, the cover 30a is rotated to block the opening of the accommodating portion 31 with the cover 30a, and the armrest portion 30 returns to its original state. Since the cover 30a is mounted so as to be rotatable about the opening edge 32a with respect to the base portion 30b as described above, the cover 30a can be rotated about the opening edge 32a to block the opening of the accommodating portion 31 with the cover 30a.
[0075] Accordingly, it becomes a use state in which the table 40 is taken out from the storage part 31 and becomes a horizontal posture, and articles can be placed on the table 40 or operations such as note-taking can be performed on the table 40. At this time, the support part 52a of the connecting pipe 52 that holds the table 40 abuts against the opening edge 32b of the armrest part 30. Therefore, the table 40 is in a state of being supported not only by the support column 35 via the connecting pipe 52 but also by the opening edge 32b via the support part 52a. Thereby, the load strength of the table 40 can be increased. In addition, a recessed part 34 that is recessed downward is provided on the opening edge 32b of the armrest part 30, and in the use state of the table 40, the support part 52a of the connecting pipe 52 is fitted into the recessed part 34. Therefore, the load strength of the table 40 can be increased, and rotation of the connecting pipe 52 relative to the support column 35 can be avoided in the use state of the table 40.
[0076] In addition, by fitting the support part 52a of the connecting pipe 52 into the recessed part 34 and taking out the table 40 from the storage part 31 of the armrest part 30 to become the use state as described above, when the cover 30a is to be rotated to return the armrest part 30 to its original state, the cover 30a abuts against the connecting pipe 52 and the armrest part 30 does not return to its original state.
[0077] Then, when the table 40 is housed in the armrest part 30, the above operations can be performed conversely, but the table 40 is locked in a horizontal posture. Therefore, when returning the table 40 from the horizontal posture to the erected posture, by pulling the unlocking member 55 in a direction away from the side of the rotation fixing member 53, the locking of the rotation of the support part 52c relative to the rotation fixing member 53 is released, and in this state, the table 40 is returned from the horizontal posture to the erected posture. In addition, as described above, the unlocking member 55 is biased toward the center of the rotation fixing member 53 by a spring (not shown) or the like, so as long as the hand is removed from the unlocking member 55 after returning the table 40 from the horizontal posture to the erected posture, the rotation of the support part 52c relative to the rotation fixing member 53 is locked again when the table 40 returns to the horizontal posture.
[0078] <Position of the table 40 in the use state>
[0079] Next, the positional relationship between the table 40 and the armrest part 30 in the use state will be described.
[0080] Figure 15 And Figure 16 is a diagram for explaining the positional relationship between the table 40 and the armrest part 30 in the use state. Figure 15 is a diagram of the sofa 1 observed from the side, Figure 16 is a diagram of the sofa 1 observed from the front.
[0081] As described above, in the present embodiment, in the structure in which the table 40 can be housed in the housing portion 31 of the armrest portion 30, a support column 35 extending in the vertical direction is provided in the housing portion 31. Further, a holding member 50 having one end mounted on the support column 35 and the other end mounted on the back surface of the table 40 is mounted so as to be movable in the vertical direction and rotatable in the horizontal direction with respect to the support column 35, and the table 40 is held in such a manner that it can be rotated from the upright position to the horizontal position.
[0082] Thus, the table 40 housed in the housing portion 31 can be pulled upward in the vertical direction, and at this position, the holding member 50 and the table 40 are rotated in the direction in which the main surface of the table 40 is inclined. And since the support column 35 for pulling the table 40 and the holding member 50 upward together is provided in the housing portion 31, as Figure 15 shown, in the use state of the table 40, the rotation fixing members 53, 54 that hold the table 40 using the connecting pipe 52 are at positions retreated by Y1 from the position L at the front end of the armrest portion 30 to the rear.
[0083] In addition, as described above, when the table 40 is taken out from the armrest portion 30 and becomes a horizontal posture, the rotation fixing member 53 is in a form located at a position on the seat surface portion 10 side by an amount of X1 from the support column 35 (refer to Figure 4 ). Thus, as Figure 16 shown, in the use state where the table 40 is pulled out from the housing portion 31 and becomes a horizontal posture, the rotation fixing members 53, 54 are such that X1 is on the seat surface portion 10 side with respect to the position M at the center in the adjacent direction of the armrest portion 30 and the seat surface portion 10.
[0084] Thus, a person sitting on the sofa 1 does not feel that the table 40 is far from the body. In addition, since the table 40 is in a form mounted on the support column 35 via the holding member 50, the height of the table 40 can be made higher than the height of the armrest portion 30. In this way, the sofa 1 of the present embodiment has good usability with respect to the height and the distance from the body in the use state of the table 40 housed in the armrest portion 30.
[0085] In addition, the holding member 50 holds the table 40 so that it can also be rotated in the direction parallel to the main surface. Thus, in order to make a structure in which the table 40 can be housed in the housing portion 31 without shortening the length of the long side of the table 40 even when the depth of the housing portion 31 is shallow, when the long side of the table 40 extends in the horizontal direction and the table 40 is housed in the housing portion 31, when Figure 11 the table 40 is rotated in the direction in which the surface of the table 40 faces the rear of the sofa 1 as shown, it is also possible to prevent the rotating table 40 from hitting a person in the state where the person is sitting on the sofa 1.
[0086] (Other embodiments)
[0087] In the above embodiments, as Figure 10 and Figure 13 shown, the table 40 pulled out from the housing portion 31 is rotated twice in a direction parallel to the main surface. This is because, as described above, by rotating the table 40 with the long side of the rectangular table 40 facing the up and down directions, even when the length of the long side of the table 40 is relatively long, it is possible to prevent the rotating table 40 from hitting a person when the person is seated on the sofa 1. Therefore, when the length of the long side of the table 40 is not long or the table 40 is square, etc., and there is no concern that the table 40 will hit a person when the table 40 is rotated in the direction where the surface of the table 40 faces the rear of the sofa 1 when the person is seated on the sofa 1, it is not necessary to rotate the table 40 pulled out from the housing portion 31 in a direction parallel to the main surface.
[0088] In this case, as Figure 9 shown, after pulling out the table 40 housed in the housing portion 31 vertically upward, as long as the table 40 is rotated in the direction where the main surface of the table 40 faces the rear of the sofa 1 as Figure 11 shown, and then the table 40 is made to be in a horizontal posture. That is, in such a case, since the table 40 pulled out from the housing portion 31 is not rotated in a direction parallel to the main surface, the rotation fixing member 53 can be directly mounted on the back surface of the table 40 without providing the rotation fixing member 54.
