Abstract

This invention relates to the field of battery technology and discloses a cover plate, a battery cell, and a battery pack. The cover plate of this invention includes a cover plate body, a riveting block, and terminal posts. In this cover plate structure, the wall thickness A of the column portion on both sides of the riveting groove in the width direction at the smooth area in the middle is greater than the wall thickness B of the column portion on the circumferential outer side of the riveting groove at the arc-shaped area. This allows the riveting punch to be made longer. During terminal post riveting, the riveting punch applies force downward to the column portion. The riveting punch can squeeze more material towards the circumferential outer side of the column portion at the arc-shaped area, allowing the material corresponding to the arc-shaped area at both ends of the column portion in the length direction to expand outward further. This improves the material expansion effect at both ends of the column portion in the length direction, ensuring sufficient outward expansion at both ends of the column portion in the length direction. This improves the uniformity of material expansion at all parts of the column portion in the circumferential direction, enhances the reliability of the connection between the terminal post and the riveting block, and thus ensures the strength of the cover plate.
