[0026] To better understand the above-mentioned objectives, features, and advantages of this application, embodiments of this application will be further described below. It should be noted that, unless otherwise specified, the embodiments and features described herein can be combined with each other.
[0027] Numerous specific details are set forth in the following description to provide a thorough understanding of this application, but this application may also be implemented in other ways than those described herein. Clearly, the embodiments described in the specification are only a portion of, and not all, of the embodiments of this application.
[0028] Figure 1 This is a schematic diagram illustrating the composition of the DPP public service platform provided in an embodiment of this application. Figure 1 As shown, the DPP public service platform 100 includes the DPP application service management system 110 and the DPP central service system 120.
[0029] The DPP application service management system 110 is used to publish and manage at least one DPP application service instance 130. The DPP application service instance 130 can be hosted in the cloud.
[0030] Users can access DPP Application Service Instance 130 through a client (application or browser). Users include consumers, businesses (manufacturers, retailers, repair / recycling service providers), certification bodies, and regulatory agencies. Each type of user obtains or provides information through DPP Application Service Instance 130 to promote transparent, secure, and sustainable management of products at each stage of their lifecycle.
[0031] Taking enterprise users as an example, when registering an account, users fill in basic enterprise information such as the enterprise name and unified social credit code, and upload a scanned copy of the business license. Afterwards, the administrator of the DPP application service management system 110 (which can be considered the management backend) reviews the information submitted by the user. Once the review is approved, the user can log in to DPP application service instance 130 using their registered account to obtain DPP application service instance services.
[0032] DPP application service instance 130 is used to generate DPPs based on a user's DPP registration request. Users can initiate a DPP registration request through DPP application service instance 130; for example, users can input product information and specify the number of DPPs to be generated. DPP application service instance 130 is created based on a DPP data model generated according to set parameters. (Reference) Figure 5 DPP application service instances are generated based on the DPP data model (referred to as the MA-DPP framework model) which adopts the MA identifier system.
[0033] The DPP central service system 120 is used for: synchronizing data with the at least one DPP application service instance 130; and processing user DPP data requests. Specifically, a user can generate or update DPP through their DPP application service instance 130, and correspondingly, the user's DPP application service instance 130 synchronizes data with the DPP central service system 120. Furthermore, different users can initiate DPP data requests through the central service system 120, for example, by scanning a QR code to query the DPP of a target product. In this way, different users can achieve DPP data sharing through the DPP central service system 120.
[0034] In some embodiments, a unified identification code is assigned to the product at different granularities, and these unified identification codes also serve as the unified identification codes for the corresponding product digital passports. The unified identification codes can be stored in a data carrier (such as a one-dimensional barcode, QR code, NFC, RFID, etc.). When a user scans the data carrier, they can obtain the unified identification code of the product digital passport. The user can then parse and access the unified identification code or the link associated with the unified identification code through an identification resolution system, thus accessing the product digital passport.
[0035] The MA (Market Identity) management system can assign globally unique, unified identifiers to product objects. The encoding employs a hierarchical structure and supports the ISO / IEC 15459 standard and the ISO / IEC 15418 Data Identifier (DI). These identifiers can be resolved through the MA identifier resolution system. The MA identifier management system and resolution system can interact with the DPP public service platform to assign and resolve MA identifiers. In some embodiments, the DPP central service system 120 includes a DPP data service platform 122 and an open platform 124.
[0036] refer to Figure 5 The DPP data service platform 122 is used for: synchronizing data with the at least one DPP application service instance; and processing user DPP data requests. The open platform 124 is used to receive user DPP data requests through a data interface and return the processing result of the DPP data request. When a user initiates a DPP data request by calling the data interface, the open platform 124 forwards the user's DPP data request to the DPP data service platform 122 and returns the processing result of the DPP data request to the user.
[0037] In some embodiments, the DPP public service platform 100 also includes a blockchain 140, which is used to associate and store the DPP hash values of each product with unified identification codes (e.g., MA codes, QR codes, barcodes, RFID, etc.). Due to the aforementioned characteristics of the blockchain 140, it can also be referred to as a "code chain". The complete DPP data is stored on the DPP data service platform 122 or other locations (cloud storage, enterprise database, etc.), while the blockchain 140 only stores the DPP index (unified identification code) and hash, ensuring that if off-chain data is tampered with, it can be detected through on-chain verification. (Reference) Figure 5 Blockchain 140 can be a consortium blockchain, where different users and the DPP data service platform can join the blockchain.
[0038] refer to Figure 5 The application scenarios of the DPP Public Service Platform 100 include, but are not limited to, data sharing, quality supervision, business data services, international trade, product traceability, and environmental governance.
[0039] In some embodiments, such as Figure 2 As shown, the process of publishing a DPP application service instance includes the following steps.
[0040] Step 210: Obtain the setting parameters.
[0041] Different companies can set various parameters according to their actual needs (e.g., industry needs, product needs). In some embodiments, the parameters include product composition information definition parameters, product lifecycle data definition parameters, product carbon footprint data definition parameters, and product water footprint data definition parameters. The product composition information definition parameters define the various fields included in the product composition information. The product lifecycle data definition parameters define the various fields included in the product lifecycle data. The product carbon footprint data definition parameters define whether the DPP includes product carbon footprint information. If included, the product carbon footprint data definition parameters also define the various fields included in the product carbon footprint data, such as the current carbon emissions generated by the product, which can be expressed in kgCO2e. The product carbon footprint data definition parameters define whether the DPP includes product water footprint information. If included, the product carbon footprint data definition parameters also define the various fields included in the product carbon footprint data, such as the current water usage generated by the product, which can be expressed in m³ water eq. Details regarding product composition information, product lifecycle data, product carbon footprint data, and product water footprint data can be found in subsequent explanations.
[0042] Step 220: Generate the DPP data model according to the set parameters.
[0043] A DPP data model can be a structured data file that describes set parameters, such as a JSON file or an XML file.
[0044] The DPP data model includes data element definitions for multiple stages of the product lifecycle, including procurement, production, distribution, and recycling. Each stage's data element definition includes a unified identifier, participating parties, and operational information.
[0045] Step 230: Generate a DPP data acquisition template based on the DPP data model.
[0046] The DPP data collection template can be in form. The DPP data collection template is used to input various fields of product information. Figure 6 An exemplary DPP data acquisition template suitable for the steel industry is shown.
[0047] Step 240: Create DPP data acquisition fields according to the DPP data acquisition template.
[0048] As you can understand, the DPP data collection fields are the various fields of product information in DPP. For details regarding product information, please refer to the subsequent explanation.
[0049] Step 250: Generate a DPP application service instance based on the DPP data acquisition fields, and publish the generated DPP application service instance.
[0050] As an example, steel companies can set various parameters according to the needs of the steel industry. The DPP application service management system 110 will then generate and publish a DPP application service instance 130 suitable for the steel industry. Before generating the DPP application service instance 130, the permission and rights parameters of the DPP application service instance 130 can be set through the DPP application service management system 110 to control the scope of user permissions and rights. Different users (consumers, enterprises, certification bodies, regulatory agencies) have different data permissions. User rights may refer to whether the user needs to pay, and the payment type for paying users (such as enterprises) (e.g., monthly / annual payment).
[0051] In some embodiments, such as Figure 3 As shown, the process of generating DPP includes the following steps.
[0052] Step 310: Obtain product information and the number of DPPs generated for at least one product based on the user's DPP registration request. Products have three granularities: product type (or product model), product batch, and product instance. DPPs can be configured for each of these three granularities, and the information contained in these DPPs differs. Taking mobile phones as an example, a product type DPP can be assigned to the phone model (i.e., product type), a product batch DPP can be assigned to phones in the same batch (which may involve multiple phone models), and a product instance DPP can be assigned to each phone (e.g., a phone purchased by the user). Therefore, the number of DPPs generated can be determined based on the number of product types and product instances contained in a given batch.
[0053] In some embodiments, the product information includes product composition information and product lifecycle data, and for some products, the product information also includes product carbon footprint data and / or product water footprint data.
[0054] Product composition information may include product characteristic information, product quality information, and product maintenance information. Product characteristic information may include product name, model, specifications, unified identification code (e.g., MA code, QR code, barcode, RFID, etc.), material composition, production date, production batch, manufacturer name, place of origin, etc. Product quality information may include factory inspection report, quality grade, service life assessment, etc. Product maintenance information may include maintenance manual, user manual, after-sales service records, warranty period and warranty terms, maintenance records, etc.
[0055] Product lifecycle data includes information on the stages of product manufacturing, distribution, use, maintenance, reuse, recycling, and disposal. For example, product lifecycle data may include raw material information, production process information, testing and certification information, distribution information, recycling information, and so on.
[0056] Product carbon footprint data can include information such as carbon emissions, energy use, and environmental impact at each stage of a product's life cycle. For example, product carbon footprint data includes carbon emission accounting data at each stage of a product's life cycle.
[0057] Product water footprint data can include information such as water usage and water pollution at each stage of the product's life cycle. For example, product water footprint data includes the volume of freshwater consumed and the volume of freshwater polluted at each stage of the product's life cycle.
[0058] Step 320: Based on the product information of the at least one product, generate at least one DPP according to the number of DPPs generated.
[0059] The at least one product can be a single product or products from the same batch (i.e., multiple products). Products from the same batch have consistent product information (e.g., the same material composition, production date, production batch, etc.). Unified entry of product information and batch registration of DPP greatly improves the efficiency of DPP registration for batch products.
[0060] The product information for at least one product can be entered all at once, or it can be entered in stages according to the collection time of different product information. For example, when entering information in stages, the user can first enter the basic information of the product, including product name, specifications, description information, and related product images. After setting the number of DPPs generated, the product information can be further maintained and improved, including product characteristic information, product quality information, product maintenance information, product life cycle data, product carbon footprint data, and product water footprint data.
[0061] DPP application service instance 130 verifies the product information of at least one product to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the information. If the verification passes, a valid DPP (DPP certificate / digital certificate) is generated.
[0062] Step 330: Publish the at least one DPP and upload the at least one DPP to the blockchain.
[0063] The generation of DPPs can have the following positive impacts: facilitating the implementation of sustainable product regulations, promoting the circular economy, and achieving full life-cycle management; enabling digital management of product data and supply chain transparency, thereby improving compliance and competitiveness; quantifying carbon footprint, water footprint, etc., to support environmentally friendly design and decision-making; and enhancing product transparency to promote responsible consumption that is low-carbon, water-saving, and recyclable.
[0064] DPP application service instance 130 can also be used to update DPP based on user DPP update requests. Users can initiate DPP update requests through DPP application service instance 130, specifying the DPP to be updated (i.e., the DPP of the target product) and entering product update information. In some embodiments, such as... Figure 4 As shown, the DPP update process includes the following steps.
[0065] Step 410: Obtain the update information and DPP of the target product based on the user's DPP update request.
[0066] The Product Designation (DPP) can be updated by the product manufacturer or by relevant parties (such as certification bodies). Updates to the DPP can be controlled based on user permissions. For example, certification bodies may only be allowed to update certification information within the DPP.
[0067] Referring to the foregoing, the target product can be from the same batch or a single product. Updated information about the target product involves at least some product information about it.
[0068] Step 420: Update the DPP of the target product based on the updated information of the target product.
[0069] As an example only, when the certification information of the target product changes (such as becoming invalid), the certification information in DPP can be updated accordingly.
[0070] Step 430: Publish the updated DPP and upload the updated DPP to the blockchain.
[0071] In some embodiments, reference Figure 5 DPP application service instance 130 is also used to collect product information from multiple systems, including carbon footprint systems, production systems, supply chain systems, certification systems, marketing systems, and after-sales systems. It then transforms this product information from different systems into unified fields, formats, and semantics according to a pre-defined data interoperability framework to generate or update DPP. Specifically, the carbon footprint system can provide product carbon footprint data; the production system can provide production information such as product model, batch number, serial number, raw material / component list, and manufacturing date; the supply chain system can provide supply chain information such as raw material / component list; the certification system can provide certification information (such as certification certificates and test reports); the marketing system can provide marketing information such as product name, brand, model, specifications, user manual, and maintenance manual; and the after-sales system can provide after-sales information such as maintenance manual, after-sales service records, warranty period and terms, and maintenance records. The data structures of each system are heterogeneous (PDF, Excel, XML, JSON, etc.) and their semantics differ. Through transformation processing based on the data interoperability framework, data from different systems is aligned to generate DPP.
[0072] In some embodiments, the DPP application service instance 130 is also used to: invoke the Large Language Model (LLM) to interact with the user, assisting the user in generating, updating, or querying DPPs. Through intelligent question-and-answer, users can efficiently generate, update, or query DPPs with a low learning cost. For example, users can ask the LLM for explanations and operating procedures related to DPPs.
[0073] In some embodiments, each DPP contains a unified identifier code and an associated entity identifier for the corresponding product. The DPP data service platform is further configured to: for each of the multiple products, monitor whether the DPP of that product has been updated based on its unified identifier code; in response to detecting an update to the DPP of that product, invoke a smart contract in blockchain 140 to maintain the DPP version record for that product. The version record includes the DPP release date, DPP version identifier, DPP hash pointer, and DPP update summary corresponding to each DPP version. The DPP version record for the same product is stored in association with its unified identifier code. The DPP hash pointer contains not only the hash value of the DPP but also the on-chain storage location of the DPP hash value. The DPP update summary indicates the updated fields of the DPP. Thus, users can quickly browse the DPP version information of a product through an index (i.e., the unified identifier code of the product) and quickly read the DPP hash value through the hash pointer, so as to verify whether the DPP stored off-chain has been tampered with through hash comparison.
[0074] The DPP data service platform is also used for: monitoring whether DPPs associated with each of the multiple entities have been added or updated based on the entity's identifier; in response to detecting the addition or update of DPPs associated with the entity, invoking the smart contract to maintain the associated DPP records for that entity. These associated DPP records include the unified identifier codes of all associated products of that entity, and the associated DPP records of the same entity are stored in association with the entity identifier. The associated entities of a product can refer to manufacturers, certifiers, regulators, supply chains, etc. This further realizes the aggregation of DPP information at the level of associated entities, allowing users to quickly browse DPP information associated with an entity through an index (i.e., entity identifier). Furthermore, since the product's DPP version records are stored in association with the unified identifier codes, users can obtain the DPP version records of any associated product of that entity through the entity's associated DPP records.
[0075] It should be noted that, in this document, relational terms such as "first" and "second" are used merely to distinguish one entity or operation from another, and do not necessarily require or imply any such actual relationship or order between these entities or operations. Furthermore, the terms "comprising," "including," or any other variations thereof are intended to cover non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements includes not only those elements but also other elements not expressly listed, or elements inherent to the process, method, article, or apparatus.
