[0025] Hereinafter, multiple embodiments will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In addition, the same reference numerals are assigned to substantially common parts in each embodiment, and their detailed descriptions are omitted.

[0026] (First embodiment)

[0027] As Figure 1 shown, the air handling apparatus 1 of the present embodiment has a box body 4 in which the total heat exchange unit 2 and the blowout port unit 3 are integrated. In addition, in the present embodiment, the air handling apparatus 1 including the total heat exchange unit 2 and the blowout port unit is assumed, but for example, an indoor unit of a general air conditioner that is not a total heat exchange type, a total heat exchanger with a humidifying function that does not have a heat exchanger, or a ventilation device can also be targeted.

[0028] The air handling unit 1 has an air supply path that draws in outdoor air from the outdoor side intake port 5 and supplies air into the room from the indoor side exhaust port 6, and an exhaust path that draws in indoor air from the indoor side intake port 7 and discharges air to the outside from the outdoor side exhaust port 8. Additionally, the air handling unit 1 has an electrical component box 9 on the side of the housing 4 that houses control circuitry and other components. Furthermore, the air handling unit 1 is connected to a drain device 13, which is mounted on the side of the housing 4 via a flexible hose 10 and an extension hose 11, and is mounted on a mounting plate 12.

[0029] In this embodiment, the side with the indoor intake 7 and the indoor exhaust 6 will be designated as the front, the opposite side as the rear, the side with the electrical component box 9 will be designated as the right, the opposite side as the left, and the direction perpendicular to the front-back and left-right directions will be described as the up-down direction.

[0030] The total heat exchange unit 2 performs total heat exchange between the air flowing through the air supply path and the air flowing through the air exhaust path. Specifically, the total heat exchange unit 2 includes a fan that is internally installed in a total heat exchange element (not shown), an air supply path, and an exhaust path. In the total heat exchange element, temperature (sensible heat) and humidity (latent heat) are exchanged between the air flowing through the air supply path and the air flowing through the exhaust path.

[0031] like Figure 2 As shown, the blow-out unit 3 includes: a heat exchange unit 14, disposed upstream of the air flow in the air supply path; a humidification unit 15, disposed downstream of the heat exchange unit 14; a drain plate 16, disposed below the heat exchange unit 14; and a drain plate 17, etc., disposed below the humidification unit 15.

[0032] like Figure 3 (a) and Figure 3 As shown in (b), the heat exchange unit 14 includes a heat exchanger 14a, which has a pipe through which refrigerant flows and multiple fins arranged in thermal contact with the pipe. The heat exchanger 14a forms a refrigeration cycle by connecting to an outdoor unit having a compressor (not shown). Furthermore, the heat exchange unit 14 adjusts the temperature by exchanging heat between the heat exchanger 14a and air flowing through the air supply path. Sometimes condensation occurs on the heat exchanger 14a, producing water droplets that drip downwards; therefore, a drain pan 16 is provided below the heat exchanger 14a.

[0033] The humidification unit 15 includes a water supply unit 15a and a humidification element 15b. Water supplied from the water supply unit 15a is guided to a water supply head (not shown) on the humidification element 15b via a water distribution pipe (not shown), and flows down along the humidification element 15b as indicated by arrow F1. Thus, the air passing through the humidification element 15b is humidified via the heat exchanger 14a, as shown in the front-back direction and arrow F2. At this time, any remaining water drips downwards from the humidification element 15b, and a drain tray 17 is therefore disposed below it.

[0034] Water dripping into the drainage tray 17, as indicated by arrow F3, flows on the bottom surface and is guided to the drainage tray 16.

[0035] The drainage tray 16 is provided with a drain outlet 16a for discharging wastewater to the outside of the housing 4, and is sized to cover at least the entire area of the bottom surface of the heat exchange unit 14 in both the front-to-back and left-to-right directions. In this embodiment, the drainage tray 16 is formed by molding foamed resin. Therefore, the drainage tray 16 has a protrusion supporting the heat exchanger 14a near the center of its bottom surface, and a drain outlet 16a is formed on its right side wall, resulting in a complex shape with its bottom surface slightly inclined toward the drain outlet 16a side.

[0036] Furthermore, the drain tray 16 is shaped so that the same shape can be used regardless of the size of the air handling unit 1. Specifically, the drain tray 16 is shaped to a size that corresponds to the air handling unit 1 equipped with the largest heat exchanger 14a among product types. Additionally, as described later... Figure 12 As shown, the same shape of drain plate can also be used in other air handling units 1A that are different in size and configuration.

[0037] The water-guiding discharge plate 17 is mounted on the installation metal plate 18 and is positioned above the drainage discharge plate 16. Furthermore, the water-guiding discharge plate 17 is arranged with its bottom surface inclined towards the drainage discharge plate 16. Additionally, the rear wall of the water-guiding discharge plate 17 facing the drainage discharge plate 16 slopes downwards.

[0038] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the water discharge tray 17 is sized to cover the area below the humidification unit 15. Therefore, even if condensation or leakage occurs in the water supply unit 15a, the water will be guided through the water discharge tray 17 to the drainage tray 16. In this embodiment, the water discharge tray 17 is formed, for example, by sheet metal processing using an NC machining machine. Moreover, the water supply unit 15a and the humidification element 15b are not supported on the drainage tray 16, but rather via a support structure 19 (see reference 16). Figure 2 ) Fixed to the box body 4.

[0039] These drainage discharge trays 16 and water guiding discharge trays 17 constitute the drainage water discharge structure of this embodiment. The following describes in detail the arrangement and fixing of the drainage discharge trays 16 and water guiding discharge trays 17.

[0040] First, a brief explanation of the problems with the conventional design will be given. For convenience, the conventional design will be referred to hereafter as a conventional discharge tray. However, the conventional discharge tray is shaped to cover the entire area below components where water may drip; that is, in this embodiment, it is shaped to cover the entire area below the heat exchange unit 14 and the humidification unit 15. As a result, while the conventional discharge tray has no problem with drainage, it is difficult to remove from the housing 4, making cleaning and maintenance difficult.

[0041] However, even if the drainage discharge tray 16 and the water guide discharge tray 17 are made into separate components and the drainage discharge tray 16 is simply miniaturized, although it makes loading and unloading into the housing 4 easier, other problems still need to be solved. Specifically, even if the drainage discharge tray 16 is miniaturized and loading and unloading is easy, it still needs to be in the proper position and orientation when the drainage discharge tray 16 is reconfigured after maintenance.

[0042] However, since the drain tray 16 is made of foamed material, it is difficult to fix it in a specified position using so-called threaded fasteners. In addition, the drain tray 16 is relatively lightweight, so its posture needs to be stable due to vibration, etc. On the other hand, if the construction used to fix the drain tray 16 becomes complicated, there is a problem of reduced maintainability.

[0043] Therefore, in this embodiment, as described below, the drainage discharge tray 16 is easy to install and remove, and can be easily reconfigured to a suitable state, thereby improving maintainability.

[0044] like Figure 4 As shown in (a), a first limiting member 20 is provided at the corner of the left rear end of the drainage discharge tray 16. This first limiting member 20 is fixed to... Figure 2 The partition wall 21 shown separates the air supply and exhaust passages. Therefore, the drain pan 16 is as follows... Figure 3 As shown in (b), upward movement at the left rear corner and movement toward the rear end opposite to the drain plate 17 are restricted. Furthermore, the drain plate 16 is restricted from moving to the left within the housing 4 by the partition wall 21.

[0045] Furthermore, a second limiting member 22 is provided in front of the drainage discharge tray 16. The second limiting member 22 has an L-shaped cross-section, with one side fixed to the bottom surface of the housing 4 and the other side extending along the front wall of the drainage discharge tray 16 in the left-right direction within the housing 4. Therefore, the movement of the drainage discharge tray 16 forward, i.e., towards the water guiding discharge tray 17, is restricted. Since the second limiting member 22 extends in the left-right direction within the housing 4, it also functions as a guide member when loading and unloading the drainage discharge tray 16 from the housing 4. That is, by moving the front wall of the drainage discharge tray 16 along the second limiting member 22, the drainage discharge tray 16 can be guided for loading and unloading without contacting the first limiting member 20.

[0046] Furthermore, the drainage tray 16, as described above, is restricted in its forward, backward, left, and right movements; however, due to its relatively light weight, it may wobble up and down due to vibration. Therefore, in this embodiment, as... Figure 3 (b) and Figure 4 As shown in (a), the bottom surface of the drain plate 17 is pressed downwards against the front end of the drain plate 16. This restricts the backward, left-right, and up-down movement of the drain plate 16, fixing it in a suitable position and posture. Furthermore, the drain plate 16 remains fixed in a suitable position and posture even after maintenance and reconfiguration.

[0047] In addition, such as Figure 1 as well as Figure 2 As shown, a side panel 23 is provided on the right side of the housing 4, which covers the entire right side of the drainage tray 16 when the drain outlet 16a is exposed. This side panel 23 is formed to be wider than the drainage tray 16 in both its longitudinal and vertical directions. Therefore, as... Figure 4 As shown in (b), by removing the side panel 23 from the housing 4, an opening 24 larger than the drain tray 16 is formed on the right side of the housing 4 for loading and unloading. This allows the drain tray 16 to be easily loaded and unloaded relative to the housing 4 during maintenance. However, the size of the side panel 23 is not limited to this; it can be any size that allows the drain tray 16 to be removed.

[0048] However, in order to press the drainage discharge plate 16 with the water guiding discharge plate 17, the water guiding discharge plate 17 needs to be fixed in a properly positioned state. Therefore, as Figure 5 As shown, a metal plate 18 is provided below the water-guiding discharge plate 17, and a water-guiding side limiting member 25 is provided at a position corresponding to the corner of the left front end. This water-guiding side limiting member 25 restricts upward movement and forward movement on the side opposite to the drainage discharge plate 16. Thus, the water-guiding discharge plate 17 is positioned at an appropriate height, and the positioning of the corner of the left front end and upward and forward movement are restricted.

[0049] Furthermore, the drain plate 17 is fixed in a state where it is pressed downwards by the pressing member 26 at the right rear corner. As shown in a partially enlarged view from the side, the pressing member 26 is bent at its lower end, and this bent portion presses down on the wall of the stepped portion 17b at the right rear end of the drain plate 17. The pressing member 26 is also fixed to the support member 27 (also see...) which is fixed relative to the housing 4. Figure 3 ).

[0050] By providing such a pressing component 26, the drain discharge plate 16 is pressed downwards on the right rear end side and in contact with the drain discharge plate 16, thus fixing the drain discharge plate 16 in a downward pressing state.

[0051] In addition, such as Figure 5 As shown, the water discharge plate 17 has a threaded hole 17a on the front end side of the right wall, which is used to indirectly fix it to the water supply unit 15a. Specifically, as... Figure 3 As shown, a water supply unit 15a is provided above the water discharge plate 17, such as... Figure 5 As shown, a fixing fitting 28 is installed on the water supply unit 15a. The fixing fitting 28 extends in an L-shape when viewed from above and extends to the inner surface of the right wall of the water discharge plate 17. Furthermore, the water discharge plate 17 is threadedly fastened to the fixing fitting 28 using the threaded hole 17a on the right wall.

[0052] However, in order to install or remove the drainage tray 16, it is necessary to release the pressure of the drainage tray 17 on the lower part. In this case, considering maintainability, it is preferable that the pressure can be easily released. Therefore, in this embodiment, the pressure of the pressing member 26 and the threaded fastening to the fixing fitting 28 can be easily released.

[0053] Specifically, such as Figure 1 As shown, an inspection panel 29 is provided on the side of the housing 4 located to the side of the water discharge plate 17. Figure 6 As shown in (a), the inspection panel 29 blocks the inspection opening 30. Furthermore, the pressing member 26 is fixed to the support member 27 in a position where it can operate from the inspection opening 30.

[0054] In addition, such as Figure 6 As shown in (b), the drain plate 17 is fixed to the fixing fitting 28 in a position where it can be operated through the inspection opening 30. Therefore, by removing the inspection panel 29, the rear end side and the right wall side of the drain plate 17 can be freed. That is, by operating through the inspection opening 30, the pressure on the drain plate 16 can be released.

[0055] Thus, removing the inspection panel 29 releases the pressure on the drain pan 16, and the side panel 23 is removed, as shown below. Figure 4 As shown in (b), by exposing the loading and unloading opening 24, the drain tray 16 can be easily removed from the housing 4. Furthermore, when the drain tray 16 is installed on the housing 4 after cleaning, by fixing the pressing member 26 from the inspection opening 30 and threading it to the fixing fitting 28, the drain tray 16 can be properly positioned and fixed while being pressed downward by the water-guiding drain tray 17.

[0056] The following effects can be obtained by implementing the methods described above.

[0057] The drainage structure of the embodiment includes: a drainage tray 16 with a drain outlet 16a for discharging drainage water to the outside of the housing 4; and a water guiding tray 17 for guiding water discharged from the humidification unit 15 to the drainage tray 16. The water guiding tray 17 is positioned above the drainage tray 16 and is fixed with its bottom surface tilted towards the drainage tray 16. The drainage tray 16 is placed on the bottom surface of the housing 4 and is fixed by being pressed downward by the water guiding tray 17.

[0058] By separating the water-guiding drain plate 17 and the drainage drain plate 16 in this way, the water-guiding drain plate 17 is miniaturized. Therefore, the drainage drain plate 16 is easy to remove and can be easily maintained.

[0059] Furthermore, by pressing the drain plate 16 with the drain plate 17, that is, by bringing the bottom surface of the drain plate 17 into contact with the drain plate 16, a sealed state is achieved between the drain plate 17 and the drain plate 16 without any gap. As a result, the air passing through the heat exchanger 14a flows toward the humidification element 15b, thereby improving the humidification capacity.

[0060] Furthermore, an inspection opening 30 is provided on the side of the drain plate 17 in the housing 4, and the drain plate 17 is fixed in a state where the drain plate 16 is pressed down sideways by the pressing member 26. As a result, the pressing of the drain plate 17 can be easily released, and the pressing member 26 is provided in a position where it can be operated from the inspection opening 30.

[0061] Furthermore, in the housing 4, a loading and unloading opening 24 is provided on the side of the drainage discharge tray 16. The drainage discharge tray 16 can be loaded and unloaded relative to the housing 4 through the loading and unloading opening 24 by loosening the fixing of the water guiding discharge tray 17. Thus, the drainage discharge tray 16 can be easily loaded and unloaded.

[0062] In addition, the drainage discharge tray 16 of the same shape is used regardless of the size of the cabinet 4. Thus, even for air handling units 1 of different sizes, the drainage discharge tray 16 made of foamed resin material that requires a mold can be commonly used, and the manufacturing cost can be suppressed. In addition, by forming the water guiding discharge tray 17 through sheet metal processing, a shape matching the air handling unit 1 of different sizes can be used.

[0063] In addition, the air handling unit 1 having the drainage structure with the above-described configuration can also achieve the same effect.

[0064] (Second Embodiment)

[0065] In the second embodiment, the drainage structure outside the cabinet 4 is mainly described. In addition, since the configuration of the air handling unit 1 and the like are the same as those in the first embodiment, reference is also made thereto as appropriate. Figure 1 and the like for description. In addition, the configuration of the second embodiment can be applied to the configuration of the first embodiment.

[0066] As Figure 7 shown in (a) of, a liquid discharge device 13 is provided outside the cabinet 4 of the air handling unit 1 via a mounting plate 12. As Figure 7 shown in (b) of, the liquid discharge device 13 includes: a lower housing 131 provided with an inflow port 31 for the discharge water discharged from the drainage discharge tray 16 and housing a pump (not shown); an upper housing 133 watertightly fixed to the upper part of the lower housing 131 and provided with a drainage hose 132 for discharging the discharge water; and a fixing metal plate 134 provided on the side of the cabinet 4 of the upper housing 133 for fixing the liquid discharge device 13 to the mounting plate 12. And the liquid discharge device 13 drives the pump based on an instruction from the control circuit, thereby discharging the discharge water flowing into the lower housing 131 to a drainage path (not shown).

[0067] A plurality of threaded holes 135 for fixing to the mounting plate 12 are provided in the fixing metal plate 134. In the present embodiment, three threaded holes, i.e., a threaded hole 135a, a threaded hole 135b, and a threaded hole 135c, are provided. That is, the liquid discharge device 13 is threadedly fastened to the mounting plate 12 at multiple positions via the fixing metal plate 134. Among them, the threaded hole 135a and the threaded hole 135c are keyhole-shaped holes (Japanese: だるま穴) having a substantially circular large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion extending upward from a part of the circumference of the large-diameter portion. Therefore, by temporarily fastening screws to the positions corresponding to the threaded hole 135a and the threaded hole 135c on the mounting plate 12 in advance, the liquid discharge device 13 can be temporarily placed on these screws. In addition, the number, arrangement of the threaded holes 135, and the number of keyhole-shaped holes are merely examples and are not limited thereto.

[0068] Here, we will explain the problems encountered previously. Previously, the drainage device was located inside the housing 4. However, this required a large opening for maintenance, making removal difficult. Furthermore, removing it would require removing multiple panels, increasing work time and becoming a major cause of decreased workability. Additionally, placing the drainage device inside the housing 4 obstructed airflow, leading to decreased air supply efficiency. Therefore, in this embodiment, the drainage device 13 is mounted on the outside of the housing 4 using the mounting plate 12.

[0069] like Figure 7 As shown in (a), the mounting plate 12 is fixed to the housing 4 in a state where it is fastened together with the suspension fitting screws 33 for fixing the suspension fittings 32 used to suspend the air handling unit 1. The suspension fittings 32 are respectively provided on the four sides of the housing 4. By using these suspension fitting screws 33 for joint fastening, there is no need for a separate structure for mounting the mounting plate 12. Furthermore, as... Figure 8 As shown in (a), the threaded hole 12a of the mounting plate 12 for mounting to the housing 4 becomes a keyhole. At this time, the large diameter portion of the threaded hole 12a is sized to allow the screw head of the suspension fitting screw 33 to be inserted. Therefore, the mounting plate 12 can be mounted and dismounted relative to the housing 4 even without removing the suspension fitting screw 33.

[0070] And, as Figure 8 As schematically shown in (b) regarding the cross-section of the mounting portion, the suspension fitting 32 is secured by the threaded fastening metal plate 34 and the panel component 35 inside the housing 4. Therefore, even if the mounting plate 12 is fixed to the outside of the housing 4, the position of the suspension fitting 32 will not change, and the mounting plate 12 will not affect the suspension of the air handling unit 1. Furthermore, since the threaded fastening metal plate 34 and the panel component 35 are constructed to suspend the air handling unit 1 securely, they will not deform even when the drain device 13 is installed, allowing for reliable and proper positioning of the drain device 13 during installation.

[0071] Furthermore, the mounting plate 12 has threaded holes 12b in the vertical direction to provide multiple mounting positions for threaded fastening of different types or shapes of drainage devices 13. Additionally, the mounting plate 12 has a nameplate 12c indicating which threaded hole 12b corresponds to which type of drainage device 13. In other words, the mounting plate 12 has markings indicating the mounting positions for different types of drainage devices 13.

[0072] In this embodiment, the mounting plate 12 has four layers of mounting portions, each consisting of three threaded holes 12b, arranged vertically, allowing for the sequential mounting of four types of drainage devices 13: Type A, Type B, Type C, and Type D. Furthermore, the number of layers of threaded holes 12b and the display method of the nameplate 12c shown here are examples and are not limited to these. Additionally, even though the drainage devices 13 are of different types, their shapes are the same; therefore, the nameplate 12c can also be a mark consistent with their shape.

[0073] By using such a mounting plate 12, the positional relationship between the drain outlet 16a and the drainage device 13 can be made common. For example, as Figure 9 As shown in (a), with the type A drainage device 13A installed, the inlet 31 is positioned relative to the outlet 16a with a vertical distance of L1 and a front-to-back distance of L2. Furthermore, by using the mounting plate 12, as... Figure 9 As shown in (b), the positional relationship between the inlet 31 and the outlet 16a when the type C drainage device 13C is installed is also that the vertical distance is L1 and the front-to-back distance is L2. In this way, the mounting plate 12 can form a drainage path using common components regardless of the type of drainage device 13. Furthermore, in Figure 9 For ease of observation of the accompanying drawings, illustrations of suspension fittings 32, etc., are omitted. In this embodiment, L1 and L2 are common regardless of the type of drainage device 13, but by using the mounting plate 12, it is sufficient to provide a configuration where at least L1 is common.

[0074] The following effects can be obtained by implementing the methods described above.

[0075] The wastewater discharge structure of this embodiment includes: a drainage device 13 for discharging wastewater discharged from the drainage discharge tray 16 to the outside of the housing 4 into the drainage path; and a mounting plate 12 for mounting the drainage device 13 to the housing 4, wherein the mounting plate 12 is fixed to the housing 4 together with the suspension fitting screws 33 of the suspension fitting 32 that fixes the suspension housing 4. Therefore, a dedicated mounting structure for fixing the mounting plate 12 is not required. Furthermore, the mounting plate 12 can be fixed in a secure and properly positioned state.

[0076] Furthermore, the mounting portion of the mounting plate 12 to the housing 4 has a keyhole hole that allows it to be fixed without removing the suspension accessory screws 33 from the housing 4. This allows the mounting plate 12 to be fixed without removing the suspension accessory screws 33, thus preventing errors such as screws falling off and being lost during operation, and improving workability.

[0077] Furthermore, the drain device 13 is threadedly fastened to the mounting plate 12 at multiple mounting points via a fixing metal plate 134, at least one of the mounting points of the fixing metal plate 134 serving as a keyhole. This allows the drain device 13 to be temporarily secured to the screws during maintenance or other services, thus improving workability.

[0078] Furthermore, the mounting plate 12 has multiple layers of mounting positions in the vertical direction to accommodate different types or shapes of drainage devices 13. This allows for the installation of different types and shapes of drainage devices 13 using a common mounting plate 12, improving versatility.

[0079] Furthermore, the mounting plate 12 is marked at various mounting locations for installing different types or shapes of drainage devices 13. This allows for easy identification and accurate marking of the installation position for products of different heights, thus improving installation precision and reducing the risk of incorrect installation during assembly and maintenance.

[0080] (Third Implementation)

[0081] In the third embodiment, the drainage structure between the drain outlet 16a and the drainage device 13 will be described. Furthermore, the configuration of the air handling unit 1 also shares similarities with the first and second embodiments, therefore, it will be appropriately referred to as well. Figure 1 Furthermore, the configuration of the third embodiment can be applied to the configurations of the first and second embodiments.

[0082] like Figure 1 , Figure 7 As shown in (a), the air handling unit 1 includes a flexible hose 10 that guides the wastewater discharged from the drain pan 16 to the drain device 13. Figure 7 In case (a), the air handling unit 1 also includes an extension hose 11 on the drain device 13 side of the flexible hose 10. These flexible hoses 10 and extension hoses 11 constitute the drainage structure of this embodiment.

[0083] In addition, the wastewater drainage structure is described later. Figure 12 As shown, it is sometimes composed of only flexible hose 10.

[0084] Here, we will explain the previous issues. Previously, a flexible hose with a so-called corrugated pipe (Japanese: ジャバラ) was used to form the drainage path for discharging water. While this increased the flexibility in configuring the drainage path, the risk of leakage and damage increased because the hose was subjected to load through bending. Therefore, in this embodiment, a drainage device 13 is provided on the side of the air handling unit 1, as described below, to reduce the risk of leakage and damage in the drainage path.

[0085] Specifically, such as Figure 10 As shown in (a), the flexible hose 10 has a heat-insulating tube portion 103 that connects the first connecting portion 101, the second connecting portion 102, and the connection between the first connecting portion 101 and the second connecting portion 102.

[0086] The first connecting part 101 is bent upward at 45 degrees relative to the center line (CL1) of the heat insulation pipe part 103, and the center line (CL2) of the opening side is connected in such a way that it becomes the center of the drain outlet 16a of the drain plate 16.

[0087] The second connecting portion 102 is bent upward at 45 degrees relative to the center line (CL1) of the heat insulation pipe portion 103, and the center line (CL3) of the opening side is connected in such a way that it becomes the center of the inlet 31 of the drain device 13. Therefore, the flexible hose 10 connects the drain outlet 16a to the inlet 31 with the first connecting portion 101 and the second connecting portion 102 bent at 90 degrees to each other.

[0088] Furthermore, the aforementioned 45 degrees and 90 degrees are reference angles, and may include slight deviations. In addition, the first connecting part 101 and the second connecting part 102 can also be slightly twisted around the center line (CL1) of the heat insulation pipe part 103.

[0089] The heat insulation pipe section 103 has a flexible hose section 103a connecting the first connecting section 101 and the second connecting section 102, and a cover section 103b covering the outer side of the flexible hose section 103a. Both the flexible hose section 103a and the cover section 103b are flexible. Therefore, as... Figure 10 (b) and Figure 10 As shown in (c), the flexible hose 10 is capable of extending and retracting along the centerline (CL1).

[0090] Using such a flexible hose 10, a drainage path is formed between the drain outlet 16a and the drainage device 13. For example, as Figure 11 As shown in the simplified state in (a), when the drain device 13 is installed on the air handling unit 1, the drain outlet 16a opens to the right of the housing 4 (bottom of the figure), and the inlet 31 opens to the rear of the drain device 13 (left of the figure). At this time, the center line (CL10) of the drain outlet 16a and the center line (CL11) of the inlet 31 intersect each other at 90 degrees, so the drain path needs to be bent at 90 degrees.

[0091] However, as described above, the risk of breakage increases when bending the heat insulation tube 103. Therefore, in this embodiment, the heat insulation tube 103 is used without bending it. Specifically, when viewing the air handling unit 1 from above, if the distance (L10) from the center of the drain outlet 16a of the drain pan 16 to the drain device 13 is greater than the distance (L11) from the inlet 31 of the drain device 13 to the housing 4, an extension hose 11 is provided between the second connection 102 and the inlet 31.

[0092] Therefore, as Figure 11 As shown in (b), the second connection 102 is extended by an extension hose 11 between it and the drainage device 13, ensuring a drainage path for the discharged water from the drain outlet 16a to the drainage device 13. In addition, by providing the extension hose 11, a drainage path can be formed without bending the heat insulation pipe section 103.

[0093] Or, such as Figure 12 As shown in the simplified state in (a), in the case where the air handling unit 1A, which is relatively short in length in the front-to-back direction and lacks the heat exchange unit 14, is equipped with a drain device 13, it is assumed that the distance (L20) from the center of the drain outlet 16a to the drain device 13 is approximately the same as the distance (L21) from the inlet 31 to the housing 4. Therefore, if the two are approximately the same, then as Figure 12 As shown in (b), the drain outlet 16a and the inlet 31 can be connected using a single flexible hose 10. In this case, the flexible hose 10 is as follows: Figure 10 (b) and Figure 10 As shown in (c), as long as the heat insulation pipe section 103 can extend and retract, even if the absolute value of the distance changes, a drainage path can be formed by a single flexible hose 10.

[0094] The following effects can be obtained by implementing the methods described above.

[0095] The drainage structure of the embodiment includes a flexible hose 10 that guides the drainage water discharged from the drainage discharge pan 16 to the drainage path discharge device 13. The flexible hose 10 has: a first connecting portion 101, which is connected to the drain outlet 16a of the drainage discharge pan 16 and is bent at 45 degrees relative to the drain outlet 16a; a second connecting portion 102, which is connected to the inlet 31 of the discharge device 13 and is bent at 45 degrees relative to the inlet 31; and a heat insulation tube portion 103, which connects the first connecting portion 101 and the second connecting portion 102, and the first connecting portion 101 and the second connecting portion 102 are bent at 90 degrees.

[0096] Therefore, in the configuration where the drain outlet 16a and the inlet 31 are oriented at 90 degrees when the drain device 13 is installed in the air handling unit 1, a drainage path for draining water can be formed without bending the flexible hose 10.

[0097] Furthermore, when viewed from above, if the distance from the center of the drain outlet 16a of the drain pan 16 to the drain device 13 is equal to the distance from the inlet 31 of the drain device 13 to the housing 4, the flexible hose 10 connects the drain outlet 16a of the drain pan 16 to the inlet 31 of the drain device 13 by extending or retracting the heat insulation tube 103. Thus, by extending or retracting the flexible hose 10 to an appropriate length, a drainage path for drained water can be formed even if the absolute value of the distance between the air handling unit 1 and the drain device 13 changes.

[0098] Furthermore, when viewing the air handling unit 1 from above, if the distance from the center of the drain outlet 16a of the drain pan 16 to the drain device 13 is greater than the distance from the inlet 31 of the drain device 13 to the housing 4, an extension hose 11 is connected between the second connection 102 and the inlet 31 of the drain device 13. Therefore, even if the housing 4 is large and the distance from the drain outlet 16a to the drain device 13 is long, a drainage path for draining water can still be formed.

[0099] The embodiments of the present invention have been described above, but these embodiments are merely illustrative examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These new embodiments can be implemented in various other ways, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and their variations are included in the scope and spirit of the invention, and are included in the scope of the invention as described in the claims and its equivalents.
