In the method, advertisement demand information can be obtained, description information is analyzed by utilizing an advertisement template generation model, and layer layout information of a target page is obtained; under the constraint of the layer layout information, generating initial structured data corresponding to the plurality of page layer layout modes; displaying a plurality of page layers respectively corresponding to the plurality of page layer layout modes according to the initial structured data for layer layout adjustment; in response to the page layer adjustment operation, adjusting the initial structured data to obtain target structured data, and adding the target structured data into the resource document; and running the resource document, loading the background picture and the foreground picture matched with the advertisement demand information according to different page layer layout modes, and generating a plurality of candidate advertisement pictures. In this way, the advertisement picture better meeting the advertisement requirement of the user can be efficiently generated.
