[0029] Embodiments of the present application will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Note that the scale of each part in the drawings can be different from the actual scale for convenience of understanding. Deviation in parallel, right angle, orthogonality, horizontal, vertical, up and down, left and right, and the like is allowed to the extent that the effects of the embodiments are not impaired.

[0030] The corner shape is not limited to a right angle, and can be an arc-shaped bow. Parallel, right angle, orthogonality, horizontal, and vertical can include substantially parallel, substantially right angle, substantially orthogonality, substantially horizontal, and substantially vertical. Furthermore, in this specification, "substantially" means a state in which the same shape and the same size are considered to be the same when viewed by a person.

[0031] <Embodiment 1>

[0032] First, the structure of the vehicle window unit 100 and the vehicle-mounted member 500 of Embodiment 1 will be described with reference to Figure 1 and Figure 2 Figure 1 is a bottom view of the vehicle window unit 100 and the vehicle-mounted member 500 of Embodiment 1. Figure 2 is a diagram showing an example of the vehicle window unit 100 and the vehicle-mounted member 500 of Embodiment 1 in a state of being mounted on a vehicle.

[0033] As shown in Figure 1 , the vehicle window unit 100 includes a vehicle window 200, a mounting base 300, and an attachment 400. The vehicle window unit 100 is a window configured to be able to mount the vehicle-mounted member 500 shown in Figure 2 on the surface of the vehicle side.

[0034] The vehicle-mounted member 500 is, for example, a room mirror. The vehicle-mounted member 500 can also be a sensor or a camera, or the like.

[0035] The vehicle window glass 200 is a glass sheet installed on a window of an automobile. The vehicle window glass 200 is, for example, a front window glass. The vehicle window glass 200 can also be a rear window glass, a side window glass, or a sunroof glass, or the like. As the glass sheet constituting the vehicle window glass 200, for example, soda-lime glass, alumino-silicate glass, borosilicate glass, borate glass, lithium-alumino-silicate glass, borosilicate glass, or the like can be exemplified. Further, the vehicle window glass 200 can be a single glass sheet, or can be a laminated glass.

[0036] The mounting base 300 is a plate-shaped member made of resin or metal. As the metal constituting the mounting base 300, for example, zinc, aluminum or an aluminum alloy, stainless steel, or the like can be exemplified. These materials can be used alone or in combination. Further, the stainless steel can be sintered SUS. As the resin constituting the mounting base 300, for example, polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyolefin such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), polyamide (PA) such as nylon 6 or nylon 6,6, high heat-resistant polyamide (PA6T / PA6I), polyimide (PI), polyether imide (PEI), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polyacetal (POM), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), or the like can be exemplified.

[0037] The method of forming the mounting base 300 is not particularly limited. In the case where the mounting base 300 is made of metal, for example, the mounting base 300 can be formed by a die casting method, a casting method, or the like. In the case where the mounting base 300 is made of resin, for example, the mounting base 300 can be formed by injection molding. The mounting base 300 is fixed by being adhered to the vehicle inner side surface of the vehicle window glass 200. The method of adhering the mounting base 300 to the vehicle window glass 200 is not particularly limited. The mounting base 300 can be adhered to the vehicle window glass 200 with an adhesive tape or an adhesive, for example. The adhesive is not particularly limited as long as it is an adhesive used for the adhesion of a window glass to a metal member or a resin member. In the case where the mounting base 300 is made of metal, as the adhesive, for example, polyurethane-based, silicone-based, acrylic resin-based, or the like can be exemplified. In the case where the mounting base 300 is made of resin, as the adhesive, for example, epoxy-based, polyurethane-based, silicone-based, modified silicone-based, melamine-based, phenol-based, or acrylic-based, or the like can be exemplified.

[0038] Hereinafter, the surface of the mounting base 300 adhered to the vehicle inner side surface of the vehicle window glass 200 will be referred to as a "back surface". Further, the surface of the mounting base 300 facing the back surface will be referred to as a "front surface". Further, the surface of the mounting base 300 connecting the front surface and the back surface will be referred to as a "side surface". As the side surface of the mounting base 300, for example, a surface on the side of the vehicle window glass 200, a surface on the side of the vehicle interior, or the like can be exemplified. Figure 1As shown, the front side of the mounting base 300 is, for example, a side that is substantially parallel to the back side of the mounting base 300 and located on the side of the attachment 400 of the mounting base 300. Furthermore, the attachment 400 is a component that surrounds the front and side sides of the mounting base 300.

[0039] The wall of accessory 400 facing the front of mounting base 300 will be referred to as front wall 420. Furthermore, the walls of accessory 400 extending from the edge of front wall 420 towards vehicle window glass 200 will be referred to as side walls 430a and 430b. Figure 1 As shown, the front wall 420 of the attachment 400 is, for example, a wall that is in contact with the front of the mounting base 300. In addition, the side walls 430a and 430b of the attachment 400 are, for example, walls that extend from the edge of the front wall 420 generally parallel to the vehicle window glass 200 and extend from the middle toward the vehicle window glass 200.

[0040] Attachment 400 is a component made of resin or metal. Attachment 400 can be made of the same material as the mounting base 300, or it can be made of different materials. Examples of metals constituting attachment 400 include zinc, aluminum or aluminum alloys, and stainless steel. These materials can be used alone or in combination. Furthermore, stainless steel can be sintered SUS. Examples of resins constituting attachment 400 include polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyolefins such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), polyamides such as nylon 6 and nylon 6,6, high-heat-resistant polyamides (PA6T / PA6I), polyimide (PI), polyetherimide (PEI), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polyacetal (POM), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS).

[0041] like Figure 1 As shown, narrowing portions 410a and 410b are provided on the side of the front wall 420 of the attachment 400. The narrowing portions 410a and 410b are grooves provided on the side of the front wall 420. The narrowing portions 410a and 410b can be arranged to surround the side of the front wall 420. If the front wall 420 of the attachment 400 is approximately rectangular in plan view, the narrowing portions 410a and 410b can also be provided on two opposing sides of the four sides of the attachment 400. This allows the fitting portion 510 of the vehicle component 500 to be inserted into the narrowing portions 410a and 410b of the attachment 400 from above or to the side of the vehicle window glass 200. Here, "approximately rectangular" refers to a shape formed by four sides, such as a square, rectangle, trapezoid, or parallelogram, and each corner can be a rounded arc. Additionally, looking down refers to observing an object from the normal direction of the inner side of the vehicle's window glass 200.

[0042] likeFigure 2 As shown, the vehicle-mounted component 500 includes a fitting portion 510. The fitting portion 510 is as follows... Figure 1 As shown, a pair of hooks 520a and 520b are provided. The pair of hooks 520a and 520b are shaped to engage with the narrowing portions 410a and 410b. The fitting portion 510 is configured to slide within the attachment 400 while being inserted into the attachment 400. When the fitting portion 510 is inserted into the attachment 400, it engages with the narrowing portions 410a and 410b of the attachment 400, thereby hooking onto the attachment 400. By hooking the fitting portion 510 onto the attachment 400, the vehicle component 500 is mounted on the attachment 400.

[0043] like Figure 1 As shown, the vehicle-mounted component 500 may also have a fixing member 530 in the fitting portion 510. The fixing member 530 is a screw configured such that its front end abuts against the front wall 420 of the attachment 400. In this case, if the screw is tightened, a force is applied to the vehicle-mounted component 500 in a direction away from the attachment 400, so that the pair of hooks 520a, 520b engage more firmly with the narrow portions 410a, 410b of the attachment 400. Furthermore, when fixing with a screw, it is preferable to also pre-set threads in the hole through which the screw passes through the attachment 400. By pre-setting threads and tightening the screw, the attachment 400 is more firmly fixed to the vehicle-mounted component 500 and the mounting base 300.

[0044] For example, after the vehicle window glass unit 100 is produced at a glass factory, it is transported to an assembly plant where vehicle components 500 are installed. Preferably, the accessory 400 is not installed at the glass factory, but rather installed after transport to another glass factory. If the accessory 400 is transported without installation, the thickness of the vehicle window glass unit 100 during transport can be controlled compared to transporting it with the accessory 400 installed. Therefore, multiple vehicle window glass units 100 can be transported on a single container.

[0045] Next, refer to Figure 2 and Figure 3 Further explanation is given regarding the anticipated effects of installing Attachment 400 on the vehicle window glass unit 100. Figure 3 This is a diagram showing an example of the structure of the vehicle window glass unit 100 of Embodiment 1 as viewed from the inside of the vehicle. Furthermore, in this specification, front and back, left and right, and up and down correspond to the front and back, left and right, and up and down directions of a vehicle equipped with the vehicle window glass unit 100.

[0046] like Figure 2As shown, a vehicle-mounted component 700, other than the vehicle-mounted component 500, can also be installed on the vehicle window glass 200. The vehicle-mounted component 500 is an interior mirror, and the vehicle-mounted component 700 is a camera. The vehicle-mounted component 700 is installed on the vehicle window glass 200 using a mounting component 600. The mounting component 600 is a camera cover. Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the mounting component 600 can be mounted above the mounting base 300 and the accessory 400. Furthermore, as... Figure 3 As shown, mounting component 800 is a sensor bracket, and mounting component 900 is an antenna bracket. A light-shielding area 1000 is formed at the installation positions of mounting base 300 and mounting components 600, 800, and 900.

[0047] The light-shielding area 1000 is formed, for example, by applying a ceramic color paste containing black pigment and molten glass to the inner side of the vehicle window glass 200 and then firing it. By providing the light-shielding area 1000, the degradation of adhesives and other materials applied to the vehicle window glass 200 due to ultraviolet radiation can be suppressed. Furthermore, since the mounting base 300 and the like are not easily visible from outside the vehicle, the appearance is improved.

[0048] When the accessory 400 is not provided on the vehicle window glass unit, i.e., when the vehicle component 500 is directly mounted on the mounting base 300, if the vehicle window glass unit is mounted by inserting the fitting portion 500 from above the mounting base 300, the fitting portion 500 and the mounting component 600 may interfere with each other. In contrast, when the accessory 400 is provided on the vehicle window glass unit, the portion into which the fitting portion 510 is inserted (narrowing portions 410a, 410b) and the thickness of the accessory 400 are correspondingly further away from the inner side of the vehicle window glass 200, thus suppressing interference between the fitting portion 510 and the mounting component 600. Therefore, even when the mounting component 600 is mounted near the accessory 400, the vehicle component 500 can be mounted smoothly.

[0049] Next, refer to Figure 4 and Figure 5 The shape of Annex 400 is described in further detail. Figure 4 These are the three views of Attachment 400 of Implementation Method 1. Figure 5 It is along Figure 4 A cross-sectional view of the VV line. Figure 4 The top left image is the main view of Attachment 400. Figure 4 The upper right image is a side view of Attachment 400. Figure 4 The bottom left image is a bottom view of Appendix 400.

[0050] like Figure 4As shown, thinning portions 450a, 450b, 450c, and 450d are provided on the front wall 420 of attachment 400. The thinning portions 450a, 450b, 450c, and 450d are as follows: Figure 4 and Figure 5 The image shows a recess on the surface of the front wall 420 of the accessory 400 on the side of the vehicle-mounted component 500. When the accessory 400 is made of resin, the thinning portions 450a, 450b, 450c, and 450d reduce the volume of the accessory 400, making it less prone to thermal shrinkage after molding, thus suppressing the formation of shrinkage marks on the front wall 420 of the accessory 400. Furthermore, when the accessory 400 is made of metal, the thinning portions 450a, 450b, 450c, and 450d reduce the weight of the accessory 400.

[0051] In addition, Annex 400 can also be as follows Figure 4 As shown, a pair of claws 440a and 440b are provided on the inner side of the sidewall. The pair of claws 440a and 440b are configured to engage with narrow portions 310a and 310b provided on the side of the mounting base 300. Figure 4 In the example shown, a pair of claws 440a and 440b are hooked onto the mounting base 300 by engaging with narrow portions 310a and 310b provided on the side of the mounting base 300. The accessory 400 is mounted on the mounting base 300 by having the pair of claws 440a and 440b hook onto the mounting base 300. Furthermore, the claws 440a and 440b are as follows... Figure 4 In the case of the wedge-shaped profile shown, the angle α at the front end of the hook is preferably 50° or more and 70° or less. If the angle α is within the above range, it can be firmly fitted with the mounting base 300 and is not easy to fall off, and the hooks 440a and 440b themselves are not easily damaged during installation and use.

[0052] Attachment 400 can also be bonded to at least one of the mounting base 300 and the vehicle window glass 200 using adhesive components, i.e., adhesive tape or adhesive. For example, adhesive can be applied to the side wall end of attachment 400, i.e., the part that contacts the vehicle window glass 200. By applying adhesive in this way, attachment 400 can be more securely mounted to the vehicle window glass 200. By bonding attachment 400 to mounting base 300 with adhesive, noise from attachment 400 can be suppressed.

[0053] Figure 4 and Figure 5The description addresses the case where a recess is provided on the surface of the front wall 420 of the attachment on the side of the vehicle-mounted component 500. However, the shape of the thinning portion provided on the attachment is not limited to the shape described above. Furthermore, the volume of the thinning portion provided on the front wall 420 is preferably 10% or more and 40% or less, more preferably 15% or more and 35% or less, relative to the volume of the attachment 400. Further, Figure 5 The ratio b [mm] between the thinned portions of the attached 400 shown is preferably 0.7 or more and 1.3 or less, to the wall thickness (e.g., the thickness of the sidewall) a [mm]. In this case, the volume of the thinned portion is preferably less than 25% of the volume of the attached 400. If the above relationship is achieved, it is possible to effectively balance the suppression of shrinkage marks and the maintenance of the strength of the attached 400.

[0054] <Variation Example>

[0055] Reference Figures 6-12 Examples of variations in the thinning section provided on the attachment are explained. Figure 6 and Figure 7 This is a cross-sectional view of a modified example of the appendix of Embodiment 1. Figures 8-11 This is a front view of a modified example of the appendix of Implementation Method 1. Figure 12 This is a bottom view of a modified example of the vehicle window glass unit according to Embodiment 1.

[0056] Figure 6 The attached accessory 1100 shown has thinning portions 1150a and 1150b. The thinning portions 1150a and 1150b are through holes penetrating the front wall of the accessory 1100. Because the thinning portions 1150a and 1150b are through holes, the accessory 1100 is lighter in weight compared to the accessory 400 of Embodiment 1. Furthermore, Figure 6 The ratio b [mm] between the thinned portions of the attached 1100 shown is preferably 0.7 or more and 1.3 or less, to the wall thickness (e.g., the thickness of the sidewall) a [mm]. In this case, the volume of the thinned portion is preferably less than 25% of the volume of the attached 1100. If the above relationship is maintained, both the suppression of shrinkage marks and the maintenance of the strength of the attached 1100 can be effectively achieved. However, the above relationship is not limited to... Figure 6 Alternatively, the following method can be used. Figure 7 And its subsequent components.

[0057] Figure 7 The attached accessory 1200 shown has thinning portions 1250a and 1250b. The thinning portions 1250a and 1250b are recesses on the side of the mounting base 300 on the front wall of the attached accessory 1200.

[0058] Figure 8The attached accessory 1300 shown has a thinning section 1350. The thinning section 1350 is a through hole with a C-shaped cross-section that penetrates the front wall of the attached accessory 1300.

[0059] Figure 9 The attached accessory 1400 shown has thinning sections 1450a and 1450b. The thinning sections 1450a and 1450b are through holes with a rectangular cross-section that penetrate the front wall of the attached accessory 1400.

[0060] Figure 10 The attached component 1500 shown has a thinning portion 1550. The thinning portion 1550 is a through hole with a C-shaped cross-section that penetrates the front wall of the attached component 1500. When the fixing member 530 of the vehicle-mounted component 500 is a screw, the screw position 1560 is the position where the front end of the screw abuts. The thinning portion 1550 is located in a position that does not overlap with the screw position 1560. Therefore, in the fixing member 530, the front end of the screw abuts against the surface of the front wall of the attached component 1500 on the side of the vehicle-mounted component 500, thereby securely mounting the vehicle-mounted component 500 onto the attached component 1500.

[0061] Figure 11 The attached accessory 1600 shown has a thinning section 1650. The thinning section 1650 is a through hole that penetrates the front wall of the attached accessory 1600. Figure 12 It is installed Figure 11 The image shows a bottom view of the vehicle window glass unit 1700 in Appendix 1600. Figure 12 As shown, a vehicle-mounted component 1800 with a fixing member 1830 is mounted on the attachment 1600. The fixing member 1830 is a screw that extends from the vehicle-mounted component 1800 toward the mounting base 300. The screw passes through a thinned portion 1650 of the attachment 1600, and its front end abuts against the front of the mounting base 300. The thinned portion 1650 is configured to overlap with the screw position. In other words, the fixing member 1830 is fitted into the thinned portion 1650.

[0062] Figure 1 , Figure 10 and Figure 12 The text describes the case where the fixing member of the vehicle-mounted component is a screw. However, the fixing member is not limited to screws.

[0063] Reference Figure 13 and Figure 14 A variation of the fixing components of the vehicle-mounted component is explained. Figure 13 This is a perspective view of a modified example of the appendix of Embodiment 1. Figure 14 This is a diagram showing a modified example of the fitting part of a vehicle-mounted component.

[0064] exist Figure 13The vehicle-mounted component side surface of the attached accessory 1900 is provided with a protrusion 1960. The vehicle-mounted component installed on the accessory 1900 has a fixing member 2030 in the fitting part instead of the fixing member 530. The fixing member 2030 is a metal spring. Figure 14 This is an example of the shape of the fixing member 2030 as seen from the side of the attachment 1900 of the vehicle-mounted component. The fixing member 2030 is configured to engage with the protrusion 1960 provided on the attachment 1900. Figure 13 and Figure 14 In the example shown, the fixing member 2030 is embedded in the protrusion 1960, thereby securely mounting the vehicle-mounted component onto the accessory 1900.

[0065] The present invention has been described above with reference to the embodiments described above. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and includes various modifications, alterations and combinations that can be implemented by those skilled in the art within the scope of the claims of this application.

[0066] This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-201596, filed on November 29, 2023, the entire disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.
