The invention is suitable for the technical field of front-end development, and provides a front-end component management method and system, computer equipment and a computer program product, and the method comprises the steps: scanning and extracting front-end components in a new component source code to obtain a to-be-published front-end component library, performing runtime testing on the to-be-published front-end component and generating a behavior fingerprint of the to-be-published front-end component; generating a service label of the to-be-published front-end component according to the component source code of the to-be-published front-end component and the service demand document; performing gray scale testing on the to-be-published front-end component based on the behavior fingerprint and the service label; and controlling the publishing flow of the to-be-published front-end component based on the gray scale test data. According to the method, the problem that in the prior art, static code analysis cannot detect the running defects of the front-end component is solved through the behavior fingerprints, comprehensive performance evaluation of the front-end component is achieved, flow is released based on the gray level test control machine, the business risk of full release is solved, and finally high-quality management of the front-end test component is achieved.
