An energetic high-entropy alloy for a shroud, and a preparation method and application thereof

By preparing a high-entropy alloy shaped charge liner composed of Ti, Zr, Ta, Nb, Al, and V elements, the problem of insufficient penetration depth of traditional shaped charge liners was solved, achieving high penetration depth and large opening damage effect, which is suitable for concrete targets.

Abstract

The application provides an energetic high-entropy alloy for a shroud, a preparation method and application thereof, and the high-entropy alloy contains, in atomic percentage, Ti: 25-60%; Zr: 10%-35%; Nb: 10%-35%; Ta: 0%-20%; Al: 1%-20%; and V: 1%-20%. The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, Ti element particles, Zr element particles, Ta element particles, Nb element particles, Al element particles and V element particles are proportioned according to atomic content proportioning; then, alloy smelting preparation is carried out in a vacuum environment; finally, the prepared alloy ingot is subjected to hot isostatic pressing treatment to obtain the high-entropy alloy. The alloy is of single-phase BCC structure, has high strength and good room-temperature tensile plasticity. Due to the design of active elements, the alloy has the characteristics of high activity and high sound speed, which makes the high-entropy alloy shroud have the effects of high penetration and large opening.
