Welding apparatus and welding method

Abstract

This invention belongs to the field of welding technology and discloses welding equipment and welding methods. The welding equipment includes a welding support, a welding assembly, a welding drive device, and a positioning adjustment device. The welding assembly is slidably disposed on the welding support along a vertical first direction and can rotate relative to the welding support around the first direction. The drive device can drive the welding assembly to move along the first direction, and the positioning adjustment device can drive the welding assembly to rotate around the first direction. The welding method uses the above-described welding equipment. In this invention, the welding drive device can drive the welding assembly to move the first electrode head and the second electrode head synchronously, so that the first electrode head and the second electrode head abut against the workpiece to be welded, thereby eliminating the need for a lower electrode unit and saving working space. The positioning adjustment device can drive the welding assembly to rotate around the first direction to adjust the positioning of the first electrode head and the second electrode head.
