Abstract

The application discloses a device and method for significantly reducing water-carrying of synthesis gas of a down-flow water-quenching gasifier with an ascending cylinder, and belongs to the technical field of gasifiers. The device comprises a quenching chamber, a descending cylinder and an ascending cylinder. The ascending cylinder is coaxially sleeved with the descending cylinder to form an annular gap channel. The lower end of the descending cylinder extends into the ascending cylinder below the liquid level. The ascending cylinder wall is uniformly distributed with air holes below the liquid level and above the bottom of the descending cylinder. The application reduces the annular gap gas velocity through the opening shunting, relieves the gas pulse flow, stabilizes the quenching chamber liquid level, reduces the water-carrying of synthesis gas, and avoids the damage of internal parts. Tangential downward flow pipes can be additionally arranged to improve the low liquid level safety and prevent black water deposition. According to actual measurement, the liquid level is stable when the gasifier load reaches 120%, and the water-carrying problem is significantly improved. The application has the advantages of simple structure, low modification cost and wide application range, and can be used in various down-flow water-quenching gasifiers to improve the high-load operation stability of the device.
