[0036] Figure 2 A perspective view of a secondary battery according to an embodiment of this application is shown. Figure 3 A top view schematic diagram of a secondary battery according to an embodiment of this application is shown. Figure 4B It shows Figure 3 Partial sectional view of section AA. Figure 5 It shows Figure 4B A magnified view of a portion of region B. (See also...) Figure 3 , Figure 4B and Figure 5This application provides a secondary battery 100, which includes a housing 200, an electrode assembly located within the housing 200, a first / second current collector, and terminal posts 50 mounted on the housing 200. The housing 200 includes an end wall 111 and side walls surrounding the end wall 111. The housing 200 can be formed in various ways, such as integral stamping, integral casting, or separate welding, as long as a stable seal and electrical connection can be established. A receiving cavity is formed within the housing 200 to accommodate the electrode assembly, electrolyte, first / second current collector, and other necessary battery components. Specifically, the diameter of the housing 200 can be determined according to the specific dimensions of the electrode assembly. The housing 200 can be made of various materials, such as copper, iron, aluminum, steel, or aluminum alloy. To prevent rusting during long-term use, a rust-preventive material such as metallic nickel can be plated onto the surface of the housing 200. The secondary battery 100 can be a cylindrical battery, such as a 4680 cylindrical battery with a height of 80mm and a diameter of 46mm; or a battery with a height of 15mm and a diameter of 46mm.

[0037] Electrode assemblies are components in the secondary battery 100 where electrochemical reactions occur. The housing 200 may contain one or more electrode assemblies. The electrode assembly is a wound or stacked electrode assembly, including a stacked and / or wound positive electrode, a first separator, a negative electrode, and a second separator. The positive electrode includes a positive current collector and a positive active material layer coated on the positive current collector. A first coated area coated with the positive active material layer and a first uncoated area without the positive active material layer are formed on the positive current collector. The first coated area and the first uncoated area are arranged along the height direction of the electrode assembly. The first uncoated area extends beyond the separator at one end in the height direction of the secondary battery 100, forming a bent positive electrode tab. The negative electrode includes a negative current collector and a negative active material layer coated on the negative current collector. A second coated area with the negative active material layer and a second uncoated area without the negative active material layer are formed on the negative current collector. The second coated area and the second uncoated area are arranged along the height direction of the electrode assembly. The second uncoated area also extends towards one end of the secondary battery 100 in the height direction to the outside of the separator, forming a bent negative electrode tab. The first separator and the second separator are disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode to isolate the positive and negative active material layers. Taking the lithium-ion secondary battery 100 as an example, the material of the positive current collector can be aluminum, and the positive active material layer includes positive active material, which can be lithium cobalt oxide, lithium iron phosphate, ternary lithium, or lithium manganese oxide, etc. The material of the negative current collector can be copper, and the negative active material layer includes negative active material, which can be carbon or silicon, etc. The substrate material of the first separator and the second separator can be PP (polypropylene) or PE (polyethylene), etc. To protect and insulate the electrode assembly, an insulating film can be wrapped around the outside of the electrode assembly. The insulating film can be synthesized from PP, PE, PET, PVC or other polymer materials.

[0038] refer to Figure 5In some embodiments, the end wall 111 has a first mounting hole 1110, the upper plastic 121 contacts the surface of the end wall 111 facing the outside of the housing 200, and the split lower plastic 131 contacts the surface of the end wall 111 facing the inside of the housing 200. The upper plastic 121 has a third mounting hole 1210 corresponding to the first mounting hole 1110, and the split lower plastic 131 has a second mounting hole 1310 corresponding to the first mounting hole 1110 and the second mounting hole 1210. In some embodiments, the pole post 50 includes an outer flange 51, a columnar portion 52, and an inner flange 53. The outer flange 51 is located outside the housing 200, and the columnar portion 52 passes through the first mounting hole 1110, the second mounting hole 1210, and the third mounting hole 1310. The outer flange 51 is connected to the end of the columnar portion 52 of the electrode post 50 located outside the housing 200, and the inner flange 53 is connected to the end of the columnar portion 52 of the electrode post 50 located inside the housing 200. The inner flange 53 and the end wall 111 together clamp the split lower plastic 131, and the outer flange 51 and the end wall 111 together clamp the upper plastic 121. The inner flange 53 of the electrode post 50 contacts the surface of the split lower plastic 131 facing the electrode assembly / the surface away from the end wall 111 and fixes the split lower plastic 131 to the inner side of the end wall 111 facing the inside of the housing 200. The outer flange 51 of the electrode post 50 contacts the surface of the upper plastic 121 away from the end wall 111 and fixes the split lower plastic 131 to the outer side of the end wall 111 away from the inside of the housing 200. The upper plastic 121 and the split lower plastic 131 surround the columnar portion 52. The split-type lower plastic 131 has a first split 1311 and a second split 1312. It can be understood that the first split 1311 has a second mounting hole 1310 corresponding to the first mounting hole 1110, and the second split 1312 has a through hole 1315. The first split 1311 has a central portion 1318 extending through the through hole 1315, and a supporting portion 1319 extending from the central portion 1318 to support the second split 1312. It can also be understood that the first split 1311 and the second split 1312 are stacked together, with the central portion 1318 of the first split 1311 passing through the through hole 1315 through the second split 1312, and the supporting portion 1319 of the first split 1311 supporting the second split 1312. The second part 1312 has a blocking member 1313 facing the interior of the housing 200. In a first direction F along the axis of the second mounting hole 1310 pointing towards the interior of the housing 200, the blocking member 1313 protrudes relative to the first part 1311 by a distance H1. In the radial direction of the second mounting hole 1310, a space 140 is spaced between the blocking member 1313 and the support portion 1319 (see example...). Figure 7 The distance to the space shown (140) is W1. This can be understood as... Figure 5 The diagram shows the blocking member 1313 disposed on the lowest bottom surface of the second part 1312 facing the interior of the housing 200. In some embodiments, for example... Figure 6In the partial cross-sectional schematic diagram of the secondary battery 200 according to an embodiment of this application, the blocking member 1313 is also provided on the second part 1312. To enhance the cooperation between the first part 1311 and the second part 1312, a protruding portion 1317 is provided on the supporting portion 1319 of the first part 1311. The protruding portion 1317 protrudes towards the interior of the housing 200. By providing the protruding portion 1317, the cooperation between it and the blocking member 1313 is strengthened, thereby enhancing the blocking effect of the blocking member 1313. Furthermore, at this time, the lowest point of the first part 1311 is the lowest point on the bottom surface of the protruding portion 1317. It can be understood that along the first direction F, the height difference between the lowest point of the first part 1311 and the lowest point of the second part 1312 is H3, and H3 is in the range of 0.05mm-1.5mm. In some embodiments, along the first direction F, the blocking member 1313 does not protrude beyond the lowest point of the inner flange 53, and the height difference between the lower surface of the blocking member 1313 and the lowest point of the inner flange 53 is H2, where H2 is in the range of 0-1.0 mm, preferably 0.1 mm-0.6 mm. Since the first current collector and electrode assembly of the secondary battery 100 are disposed below the inner flange 53, and the first current collector is located between the electrode assembly and the terminal post 50, the blocking member 1313 is configured not to contact the first current collector and electrode assembly. In some embodiments, the plastic materials of the first split body 1311 and the second split body 1312 are different and have different melting points. In some embodiments, the inner flange 53 and the end wall 111 together clamp the first split body 1311, and the inner flange 53 directly contacts the first split body 1311.

[0039] Figure 4AA partial cross-sectional schematic diagram of a prior art secondary battery is shown. It can be understood that the prior art secondary battery is similar to the secondary battery 100 of this application, and also has a split plastic 500. It can be understood that the split plastic 500 has a first part 501 and a second part 502. Similar to the first part 1311 and the second part 1312 of the secondary battery 100 of this application, before the split plastic 500 is loaded into the housing, the first part 501 is first placed on a tooling, and then the second part 502 is placed on the tooling. The first part 501 is fixed by the tooling, while the second part 502 is movably stacked on the first part 501. Due to the mutual collisions between the tooling containing different split plastic 500 parts, in the radial direction of the inner hole of the second part 502, the distance between the inner edge 503 of the movable second part 502 protruding from the first part 501 and the first split 501 is Wa, and the distance between the inner edge of the inner hole of the second part 502 and the outer edge of the stepped upper surface 505 of the first part 501 is Wb. It is understandable that, generally speaking, the height difference between the stepped upper surface 505 and the upper surface of the second part 502 is small. When the second part 502 is subjected to impact force and moves radially, the outer edge of the stepped upper surface 505 cannot provide adequate blocking. Furthermore, since Wa is generally greater than Wb, the radial movement distance of the second part 502 may exceed Wa but not exceed Wb. This causes the inner edge of the inner hole of the second part 502 to extend beyond the outer edge of the first part 501, resulting in the second part 502 detaching from the first part 501.

[0040] To further understand this invention, please continue to refer to the following: Figure 5 and Figure 7 , Figure 7 A cross-sectional schematic diagram of the split-type lower plastic 131 according to an embodiment of this application is shown. It can be understood that, since the split-type lower plastic 131 includes a first part 1311 and a second part 1312, during the formation of the split-type lower plastic 131, the first part 1311 and the second part 1312 are generally fed separately on the automatic assembly line of the secondary battery 100. Due to the high speed of the automatic assembly line, there will be collisions between the tooling on the assembly line, causing the second part 1312 to be subjected to impact forces. Figure 7The diagram shows a schematic of the split-type plastic 131 and the columnar portion 52 (not shown) of the pole post 50 before assembly. Generally, the second mounting hole 1310 of the first split 1311 and the through hole 1315 of the second split 1312 are coaxial after being assembled to the columnar portion 52, and the inner flange 53 (not shown) carries the first split 1311. However, when forming the split-type plastic 131, since the first split 1311 is compressed by being clamped by the inner flange 53 and the end wall 111 when it is assembled to the housing 200 and the pole post 50, a space 140 needs to be provided between the first split 1311 and the second split 1312 to accommodate the compressed first split 1311. When the second split 1312 is subjected to the aforementioned impact force due to tooling impact, the second split 1312 may produce radial displacement relative to the axis of the second mounting hole 1310 of the first split 1311. Although the central portion of the first segment 1311 passes through the through hole 1315 of the second segment 1312, and the second segment 1312 is stacked on the first segment 1311 and supported by the outer edge of the first segment 1311, when the second segment 1312 produces the aforementioned radial displacement, the minimum radial inner edge of the second segment 1312 may displace beyond the maximum radial outer edge of the first segment 1311 and detach from the first segment 1311. To solve the above problems, a blocking member 1313 is provided on the lower surface of the second part 1312, so that the lower surface of the second part 1312 with the blocking member 1313 protrudes from the lower surface of the first part 1311 when assembled into the housing. The distance W1 is between the blocking member 1313 and the space 140 between the supporting portion 1319 of the first part 1311 and the second mounting hole 1310 in the radial direction. The distance W2 is between the through hole 1315 of the second part 1312 and the central portion 1318 of the first part 1311. It can be understood that W1 defines the space 140 between the supporting portion 1319 of the first part 1311 and the blocking member 1313 of the second part 1312, and W2 defines the space between the central portion 1318 of the first part 1311 and the through hole 1315 of the second part 1312. The size of W1 is set to be less than W2 to prevent the second part 1312 from falling off the first part 1311. It can be understood that by setting the distance W2 between the through hole 1315 of the second part 1312 and the first part 1311 to be greater than the radial distance W1 from the blocking member 1313 to the first part 1311, the radial movable distance of the second part 1312 is controlled by the blocking member 1313 to be less than W1. Compared with Wa>Wb between the first part 501 and the second part 502 in the prior art, the possibility of the second part 1312 falling off the first part 1311 is reduced to a certain extent.Preferably, compared to the width X of the annular region formed by the stacking of the first segment 1311 and the second segment 1312, X > W2 > W1 or W2 > X > W1 can be used to further reduce the risk of the second segment 1312 falling off. Further, W1 is in the range of 0.2mm-5mm, preferably 0.5mm-2.5mm. It can be understood that in some embodiments, the distance by which the blocking member 1313 protrudes relative to the bearing portion 1319 of the first segment 1311 is H1, and H1 is in the range of 0.05mm-1.5mm, preferably 0.2mm-1.0mm.

[0041] See Figure 8 and Figure 9 , Figure 8 A bottom view schematic diagram of a split lower plastic 131 according to an embodiment of this application is shown. Figure 9 A cross-sectional schematic diagram of a split-type lower plastic 131 according to an embodiment of this application is shown. In some embodiments, the blocking member 1313 is a boss that continuously protrudes in an annular shape around the second mounting hole 1310. It can also be understood that in some embodiments, the blocking member 1313 constitutes an annular structure surrounding the second mounting hole 1310 and separating the second split 1312 into two parts with different thicknesses. See also Figure 10 and Figure 11 , Figure 10 A bottom view schematic diagram of another split-type lower plastic 131 according to an embodiment of this application is shown. Figure 11 A cross-sectional schematic diagram of another split-type lower plastic 131 according to an embodiment of this application is shown. In some embodiments, the blocking member 1313 is a plurality of protrusions spaced apart from each other surrounding the second mounting hole 1310.

[0042] See Figure 12 , Figure 12 A cross-sectional schematic diagram of another split-type lower plastic 131 according to an embodiment of this application is shown. The second split 1312 has an extension 1316 extending radially along the second mounting hole 1310 outside the space 140, the extension 1316 protruding entirely from the lower surface of the first split 1311 to form a boss. It can also be understood that, in some embodiments, the blocking member 1313 is formed by the extension 1316 formed by the entire lower surface of the second split 1312 protruding.

[0043] Embodiments of this application also provide an electronic device 1000, which includes a secondary battery 100 as described above, and the electronic device 1000 can have the beneficial effects described above regarding the secondary battery 100.

[0044] The above are merely preferred embodiments of this utility model and are not intended to limit the scope of this utility model. Various modifications and variations can be made to this utility model by those skilled in the art. Any modifications, equivalent substitutions, or improvements made within the spirit and principles of this utility model should be included within the protection scope of this utility model.
