A catheter coated with a reduced-pressure foam tape

Abstract

The application relates to a catheter coated with a decompression type foam adhesive tape, comprising a catheter main body and a decompression type foam adhesive tape, which comprises a long strip-shaped base material layer, a sticky glue layer attached to the catheter main body and a protective layer for contacting the skin. The catheter wound by the decompression type foam adhesive tape has a diameter of 1.5-3 times that of the original catheter main body part. The base material layer is provided with air permeable holes and has a thickness of 1-2 mm; the sticky glue layer has a thickness of 0.02-0.05 mm, the glue is double-sided adhesive tape, and the sticky glue layer is provided with a release paper layer; the protective layer is made of flexible skin-friendly material. The decompression type foam adhesive tape is provided in the form of a roll-shaped adhesive tape or in the form of a metered adhesive paper. The adhesive tape is spirally attached to the catheter, increases the contact area of the catheter and the skin, reduces the local pressure of the catheter on the skin and reduces the possibility of pressure sores caused by the catheter on the skin. Compared with other single decompression fixing devices, the cost is low, and the appropriate use length can be cut according to the actual situation.
