[0034] In related technologies, the water electrolysis module is installed on the water inlet pipe of the clothing processing equipment, which prevents the water electrolysis module from being in sufficient contact with water for a long time, resulting in a mediocre effect in generating hydroxyl radicals.

[0035] An embodiment of the first aspect of this application provides an outer tub assembly for use in garment handling equipment. Please refer to... Figures 1 to 3 The outer barrel assembly 100 includes an outer barrel 10, a protective cover 30, and an electrolyzed water module 20. The barrel wall of the outer barrel 10 is recessed 121 along the direction of the inner wall of the outer barrel 10 towards the outer wall surface of the outer barrel 10. The protective cover 30 is located in the recess 121 and has a water passage 31 that connects the inside and outside of the outer barrel 10. The electrolyzed water module 20 is installed on the outside of the outer barrel 10, and at least a part of the electrolyzed water module 20 is located inside the protective cover 30.

[0036] Understandably, the axial direction of the outer tub 10 can be horizontal or nearly horizontal, meaning the outer tub assembly 100 is used in a drum-type garment handling device. Of course, the axial direction of the outer tub 10 can also be vertical or nearly vertical, meaning the outer tub assembly 100 is used in a pulsator-type garment handling device.

[0037] The recess 121 is formed by the wall of the outer barrel 10 being recessed along the direction of the inner wall of the outer barrel 10 towards the outer wall surface of the outer barrel 10, that is, the opening of the recess 121 faces the inside of the outer barrel 10.

[0038] Understandably, when the axial direction of the outer tub 10 is horizontal or nearly horizontal, the recess 121 can be located at the lower end of either end of the outer tub 10, meaning the protective cover 30 is located at the lower end of either end of the outer tub 10, i.e., the protective cover 30 is located at the bottom of the outer tub 10; or, the recess 121 can also be located at the bottom of the outer tub 10. When the axial direction of the outer tub 10 is vertical or nearly vertical, the recess 121 can be located at the lower end of the outer tub 10, meaning the protective cover 30 is located at the lower end of the outer tub 10; or, the recess 121 can also be located at the lower side of the outer tub 10, meaning the protective cover 30 is located at the lower side of the outer tub 10.

[0039] The protective cover 30 is used to protect the water electrolysis module 20 in order to extend the service life of the water electrolysis module 20.

[0040] The protective cover 30 is located within the recess 121, which prevents the protective cover 30 from protruding too much from the wall of the outer barrel 10, thus helping to maintain a safe distance between the protective cover 30 and the inner barrel.

[0041] The protective cover 30 has a water passage hole 31 that connects the inside and outside of the outer tub 10. In this way, water inside the outer tub 10 can enter the protective cover 30 through the water passage hole 31, so that the electrolyzed water module 20 inside the protective cover 30 can be in full contact with water for a long time, which is conducive to the generation of hydroxyl free radicals, thereby improving the sterilization, disinfection and deep cleaning effect of clothing.

[0042] The number of water passage holes 31 is multiple. Understandably, the water passage holes 31 can be provided at the end of the protective cover 30, or at the side of the protective cover 30, or some of the water passage holes 31 can be provided at the end of the protective cover 30 and some of the water passage holes 31 can be provided at the side of the protective cover 30.

[0043] The shape of the protective cover 30 is not limited in this application. For example, the protective cover 30 can be cylindrical, frustum-shaped, prism-shaped, etc.

[0044] The shape of the water passage 31 is not limited in this application. For example, the shape of the water passage 31 can be circular, elliptical, oval, polygonal, elongated, or irregular.

[0045] The protective cover 30 has an opening facing the outside of the outer tank 10. The water electrolysis module 20 is installed on the outside of the outer tank 10, and part of the water electrolysis module 20 is inserted into the protective cover 30 through the opening. Of course, the water electrolysis module 20 can also be completely inserted into the protective cover 30.

[0046] The water electrolysis module 20 is a device capable of generating hydroxyl radicals. Its principle is to create an electric field by applying voltage to the electrode plates, causing the aqueous solution to ionize and generate hydroxyl radicals. These hydroxyl radicals have strong oxidizing properties, capable of killing bacteria and decomposing organic matter in water, thereby achieving sterilization, disinfection, and deep cleaning of clothing.

[0047] The beneficial effects of the outer tub assembly 100 provided in this application embodiment are as follows: At least a portion of the water electrolysis module 20 of the outer tub assembly 100 provided in this application embodiment is located inside the protective cover 30, allowing the water electrolysis module 20 to maintain sufficient contact with the water inside the outer tub 10 for a prolonged period through the water passage 31 on the protective cover 30. This facilitates the generation of hydroxyl free radicals, thereby improving the sterilization, disinfection, and deep cleaning effects on clothing. The water electrolysis module 20 is installed on the outside of the outer tub 10, separating it from the heater 40 inside the outer tub 10. When the water electrolysis module 20 needs to be replaced, it can be removed, which helps reduce usage costs. Furthermore, the protective cover 30 is located within the recess 121 formed by the tub wall of the outer tub 10, ensuring that the protective cover 30 does not protrude too much from the inner wall surface of the outer tub 10, thus maintaining a safe distance between the protective cover 30 and the inner tub and preventing interference between them.

[0048] Please refer to Figure 3 In some embodiments, a sealing ring 24 is provided between the water electrolysis module 20 and the outer tank 10 to ensure sealing performance.

[0049] In some embodiments, the sealing ring 24 is a rubber sealing ring.

[0050] In some embodiments, the outer tank 10 is provided with a first step, and the water electrolysis module 20 is provided with a second step; wherein the first step and the second step are arranged opposite to each other, and the sealing ring 24 is located between the first step and the second step to further improve the sealing performance.

[0051] In some embodiments, the protective cover 30 is attached to the bottom wall of the recess 121.

[0052] Please refer to Figure 4 and Figure 5 The protective cover 30 is integrally formed on the bottom wall of the recess 121, that is, the protective cover 30 and the outer barrel 10 are integrally formed as a single structure.

[0053] In some embodiments, the recess 121 is provided on the rear barrel 12, and the protective cover 30 and the rear barrel 12 are integrally formed. Of course, the recess 121 can also be provided on the front barrel 11, and the protective cover 30 can also be integrally formed with the front barrel 11.

[0054] Based on the above technical solution, since the protective cover 30 is integrally formed on the bottom wall of the recess 121, it can prevent the protective cover 30 from falling off the outer drum 10 during the operation of the clothing processing equipment, thus preventing abnormal noise from the equipment.

[0055] In other embodiments, the protective cover 30 and the outer barrel 10 can be separate structures, that is, the protective cover 30 is separately fixedly connected to the bottom wall of the recess 121. For example, the protective cover 30 can be fixedly connected to the bottom wall of the recess 121 by means of snap-fit, fastener connection, riveting, etc.

[0056] In some embodiments, the protective cover 30 is connected to the sidewall of the recess 121. It can be understood that the protective cover 30 may be integrally formed on the sidewall of the recess 121, or it may be separately fixedly connected to the sidewall of the recess 121.

[0057] Please refer to Figure 3 In some embodiments, the protective cover 30 is recessed into the recess 121.

[0058] Based on the above technical solution, the protective cover 30 will not protrude from the inner wall of the outer tub 10, thereby maintaining a safe distance between the protective cover 30 and the inner tub and avoiding interference between the protective cover 30 and the inner tub.

[0059] In some other embodiments, the protective cover 30 may be flush with the inner wall surface of the outer barrel 10 where the recess 121 is located; or, provided that the protective cover 30 does not interfere with the inner barrel, the protective cover 30 may protrude from the inner wall surface of the outer barrel 10.

[0060] Please refer to Figure 3 and Figure 5 In some embodiments, the recess 121 is a flared structure.

[0061] Understandably, the size of the end of the recess 121 closer to the inner tub is larger than the size of the end of the recess 121 farther from the inner tub.

[0062] Based on the above technical solution, water inside the outer barrel 10 can more easily flow into the recess 121, which facilitates water entering the protective cover 30 through the water hole 31, thereby helping the water electrolysis module 20 to generate hydroxyl radicals through water electrolysis.

[0063] In some other embodiments, the size of the end of the recess 121 near the inner tub can be equal to the size of the end of the recess 121 away from the inner tub; or, the size of the end of the recess 121 near the inner tub can be smaller than the size of the end of the recess 121 away from the inner tub.

[0064] Please refer to Figure 3 and Figure 5 In some embodiments, the water passage 31 includes a first water passage 311 located at the end of the protective cover 30.

[0065] Understandably, multiple first water passage holes 311 are provided at the end of the protective cover 30. The multiple first water passage holes 311 can be evenly arranged at the end of the protective cover 30 to ensure the uniformity of water flow.

[0066] Understandably, the shapes of the multiple first water passage holes 311 can be the same or different. When the multiple first water passage holes 311 have the same shape, the shape of the first water passage hole 311 can be circular, elliptical, polygonal, or elongated, etc. When the multiple first water passage holes 311 have different shapes, the shape of the first water passage hole 311 can be at least two of the following: circular, elliptical, polygonal, and elongated. For example, some of the multiple first water passage holes 311 may be circular and some may be elliptical.

[0067] Please refer to Figure 3 and Figure 5 In some embodiments, the water passage 31 includes a second water passage 312 disposed on the side of the protective cover 30.

[0068] Understandably, multiple second water passage holes 312 are provided along the circumference of the protective cover 30. These multiple second water passage holes 312 can be evenly arranged on the side of the protective cover 30 to ensure the uniformity of water flow.

[0069] Understandably, the shapes of the multiple second water passages 312 can be the same or different. When the multiple second water passages 312 have the same shape, the shape of the second water passage 312 can be elongated, circular, elliptical, or polygonal, etc. When the multiple second water passages 312 have different shapes, the shape of the second water passage 312 can be at least two of elongated, circular, elliptical, and polygonal. For example, some of the multiple second water passages 312 may be elongated and some may be circular.

[0070] In some embodiments, the water passage 31 includes a plurality of first water passages 311 and a plurality of second water passages 312. The first water passages 311 are located at the end of the protective cover 30, and the second water passages 312 are located on the side of the protective cover 30.

[0071] Multiple first water passage holes 311 can be evenly arranged at the end of the protective cover 30, and multiple second water passage holes 312 can be evenly arranged on the side of the protective cover 30 to ensure the uniformity of water flow.

[0072] The multiple first water passage holes 311 can have the same shape, for example, the first water passage hole 311 can be circular; the multiple second water passage holes 312 can have the same shape, for example, the second water passage hole 312 can be elongated.

[0073] Please refer to Figures 1 to 3 In some embodiments, the axial direction of the outer tub 10 is the front-to-back direction X, and the outer tub 10 includes a front tub body 11 and a rear tub body 12 arranged along the front-to-back direction X, with a recess 121 provided on the rear tub body 12.

[0074] The axial direction of the outer tub 10 is the front-to-back direction X, that is, the outer tub assembly 100 is used in a drum-type garment handling device.

[0075] During assembly, the front tub 11 and the rear tub 12 are joined together in the front-to-back direction X and secured with fasteners (such as bolts, screws, etc.). The front tub 11 has a clothing compartment for placing clothes, and the rear tub 12 is equipped with a drive device for rotating the inner tub.

[0076] Understandably, the recess 121 can be located at the lower end of the rear tub 12. Of course, the recess 121 can also be located at the bottom of the rear tub 12. In this way, even if the water level inside the outer tub 10 is shallow, the water electrolysis module 20 can still be in full contact with the water for a long time, which is conducive to the generation of hydroxyl radicals, thereby improving the sterilization, disinfection and deep cleaning effect of clothing.

[0077] In some other embodiments, the recess 121 may also be provided on the front barrel 11. For example, the recess 121 may be provided at the lower end of the front barrel 11, or the recess 121 may be provided at the bottom of the front barrel 11.

[0078] Please refer to Figure 2 In some embodiments, the recess 121 is provided on the rear barrel 12, and the outer barrel assembly 100 also includes a heater 40 provided in the rear barrel 12, and the distance between the water electrolysis module 20 and the heater 40 is 10-100mm.

[0079] The recess 121 is located on the rear tank 12, and correspondingly, the water electrolysis module 20 is located on the rear tank 12.

[0080] Understandably, the heater 40 is used to heat the water inside the outer tub 10 to increase the water temperature during washing, which can improve the solubility of the detergent and enhance its cleaning power, thereby improving the cleaning effect of the clothes.

[0081] In some embodiments, the heater 40 is located at the lower end of the rear tub 12. The heater 40 can be a heating tube that reciprocates within the outer tub 10; for example, the heating tube can be arranged in an S-shape. Alternatively, the heater 40 can be a heating element, heating wire, or the like.

[0082] Understandably, the distance between the water electrolysis module 20 and the heater 40 can be 10mm, 20mm, 50mm, 70mm, 90mm or 100mm, etc.

[0083] Based on the above technical solution, the distance between the water electrolysis module 20 and the heater 40 is moderate. In this way, the high temperature generated by the heater 40 when heating the water in the outer tank 10 will not damage the water electrolysis module 20. Moreover, the water near the water electrolysis module 20 can be heated by the heater 40 to improve the electrolysis efficiency of the water electrolysis module 20, thereby increasing the concentration of hydroxyl radicals and further improving the sterilization, disinfection and deep cleaning effect of clothing.

[0084] In some other embodiments, the recess 121 is provided on the front barrel 11, and the outer barrel assembly 100 also includes a heater 40 provided in the rear barrel 12, with the distance between the water electrolysis module 20 and the heater 40 being 100-200mm.

[0085] A recess 121 is provided on the front tank body 11, and correspondingly, an electrolyzed water module 20 is provided on the front tank body 11.

[0086] In some embodiments, the heater 40 is located at the lower end of the rear tub 12. The heater 40 can be a heating tube that reciprocates within the outer tub 10; for example, the heating tube can be arranged in an S-shape. Alternatively, the heater 40 can be a heating element, heating wire, or the like.

[0087] Understandably, the distance between the water electrolysis module 20 and the heater 40 can be 100mm, 120mm, 150mm, 170mm, 190mm or 200mm, etc.

[0088] Please refer to Figure 6 In some embodiments, the water electrolysis module 20 includes an anode electrode plate 21 and a cathode electrode plate 22, wherein the anode electrode plate 21 is parallel to or nearly parallel to the cathode electrode plate 22.

[0089] In some embodiments, cathode electrode sheets 22 are provided on both sides of the anode electrode sheet 21 in the thickness direction. For example, there is one anode electrode sheet 21 and two cathode electrode sheets 22, with the two cathode electrode sheets 22 respectively located on both sides of the anode electrode sheet 21 in the thickness direction. Of course, there may also be two anode electrode sheets 21 and three cathode electrode sheets 22, with the two anode electrode sheets 21 and three cathode electrode sheets 22 arranged alternately, and each anode electrode sheet 21 has cathode electrode sheets 22 on both sides in the thickness direction.

[0090] In some embodiments, anode electrode sheets 21 are provided on both sides of the cathode electrode sheet 22 in the thickness direction. For example, there are two anode electrode sheets 21 and one cathode electrode sheet 22, with the two anode electrode sheets 21 respectively located on both sides of the cathode electrode sheet 22 in the thickness direction. Of course, there can also be three anode electrode sheets 21 and two cathode electrode sheets 22, with the three anode electrode sheets 21 and two cathode electrode sheets 22 arranged alternately, and each cathode electrode sheet 22 has anode electrode sheets 21 provided on both sides in the thickness direction.

[0091] In some other embodiments, the water electrolysis module 20 includes an anode electrode plate 21 and a cathode electrode plate 22. The cathode electrode plate 22 may be located on the side of the anode electrode plate 21 facing away from the sealing ring 24; or, the cathode electrode plate 22 may be located on the side of the anode electrode plate 21 facing the sealing ring 24.

[0092] Please refer to Figure 3 and Figure 6 In some embodiments, the anode electrode 21 and the cathode electrode 22 are perpendicular to the axial direction of the protective cover 30. This design can reduce the size of the anode electrode 21 and the cathode electrode 22 in the axial direction of the protective cover 30, thereby helping to reduce the size of the protective cover 30, so that the protective cover 30 does not protrude too much from the inner wall surface of the outer barrel 10.

[0093] In some other embodiments, the anode electrode 21 and the cathode electrode 22 may also be parallel to the axial direction of the protective cover 30.

[0094] Please refer to Figure 3 and Figure 6 In some embodiments, the bottom wall of the recess 121 is also provided with a protrusion 122, the protrusion 122 having a threaded hole 1223 with the opening facing outward, the electrolyzed water module 20 is provided with a through hole 23, and the outer barrel assembly 100 also includes a threaded fastener, the threaded fastener passing through the through hole 23 and screwed into the threaded hole 1223 to fix the electrolyzed water module 20 on the outer barrel 10.

[0095] The protrusion 122 is located on the radial side of the protective cover 30. Understandably, the shape of the protrusion 122 can be a cylindrical structure, a prism structure, etc.

[0096] In some embodiments, the protrusion 122 is integrally formed with the bottom wall of the recess 121.

[0097] Understandably, multiple protrusions 122 are provided, that is, multiple threaded holes 1223 are provided, and correspondingly, multiple through holes 23 and threaded fasteners are provided. In some embodiments, two protrusions 122 are provided, and the two protrusions 122 are symmetrically arranged on both radial sides of the protective cover 30 to ensure the uniformity and stability of the force on which the water electrolysis module 20 is fixed on the outer barrel 10.

[0098] The threaded hole 1223 is a blind hole to prevent water inside the outer barrel 10 from flowing to the outside of the outer barrel 10 through the threaded hole 1223.

[0099] In some embodiments, the water electrolysis module 20 includes a fixing lug 25, and a through hole 23 is provided on the fixing lug 25. Of course, the water electrolysis module 20 may also include a flange plate, and the through hole 23 is provided on the flange plate.

[0100] Understandably, the shape of the through hole 23 can be circular, elliptical, oval, etc.

[0101] Understandably, threaded fasteners can be bolts, screws, etc.

[0102] In some other embodiments, the water electrolysis module 20 can be snapped onto the outer tank 10.

[0103] Based on the above technical solution, by providing a protrusion 122 on the bottom wall of the recess 121, the length of the threaded hole 1223 can be increased, thereby increasing the depth of the threaded fastener screwed into the threaded hole 1223, so as to ensure the stability of the water electrolysis module 20 fixed on the outer barrel 10.

[0104] Please refer to Figure 3 In some embodiments, the protrusion 122 includes a first protrusion 1221 and a second protrusion 1222. The first protrusion 1221 is located on the outer side of the bottom wall of the recess 121, and the second protrusion 1222 is located on the inner side of the bottom wall of the recess 121. The first protrusion 1221 and the second protrusion 1222 are aligned in the axial direction of the protective cover 30.

[0105] The first protrusion 1221 and the second protrusion 1222 are aligned in the axial direction of the protective cover 30. This can be understood as the first protrusion 1221 and the second protrusion 1222 being arranged coaxially or nearly coaxially.

[0106] In some embodiments, a portion of the threaded hole 1223 is provided on the first protrusion 1221, and another portion of the threaded hole 1223 is provided on the second protrusion 1222.

[0107] Based on the above technical solution, the length of the threaded hole 1223 can be further increased, thereby further increasing the depth of the threaded fastener screwed into the threaded hole 1223, so as to further ensure the stability of the water electrolysis module 20 fixed on the outer barrel 10.

[0108] In some other embodiments, the protrusion 122 includes a first protrusion 1221 located outside the bottom wall of the recess 121, but does not include a second protrusion 1222 located inside the bottom wall of the recess 121, that is, the threaded hole 1223 is provided on the first protrusion 1221; or, the protrusion 122 includes a second protrusion 1222 located inside the bottom wall of the recess 121, but does not include a first protrusion 1221 located outside the bottom wall of the recess 121, that is, the threaded hole 1223 is provided on the second protrusion 1222.
