Description

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of modular electrical connections.

[0002] Connection modules are used to establish electrical connections for industrial applications, providing, for example, screw or spring-cage connections. Such connection modules typically comprise several module elements with cable connections, for example, screw or spring-cage connections for accommodating electrical cables, and can be snapped onto a common mounting rail. An example of such a connection module is an analog module with module elements with an overall width of 6.2 mm.

[0003] Electrical connection modules of the type in question are known, for example, from DE 10 2006 053 352 B3, DE 20 2007 004 414 U1, DE 94 14 105 U1, DE 100 23 045 A1. Furthermore, electrical connection modules of the type in question are known from DE 10 2005 027 824 A1, DE 295 14711 U1 as well as from US 2006 / 0 245 169 A1, in which module receptacles are provided in order to removably hold module elements for the cable connection on the connection module, for example by means of latching hooks.

[0004] The resulting connection modules avoid the need to remove the cables from the respective connectors of the respective module element to break the electrical connection. This is particularly problematic when multiple module elements are mounted side by side on the mounting rail or arranged one above the other. If the connectors of the respective module element are arranged one below the other, it is necessary to remove the cable above to remove a cable from the lower connector, which involves increased effort.

[0005] It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide an electrical connection module that can be wired with reduced effort.

[0006] This problem is solved by the features of the independent claim. Advantageous further developments are the subject of the dependent claims, the description, and the accompanying drawings.

[0007] The invention is based on the finding that the effort required to wire a connection module can be reduced if the module elements are held to a module housing by means of a snap-in connection that can be released by a release device. In this way, the module elements can be individually removed from the module housing to release an electrical connection without the need to laboriously remove the electrical cables from the module elements. Furthermore, individual module elements can be wired particularly efficiently in this way without first having to disconnect the electrical connections of the module elements arranged above or below.

[0008] According to the invention, the release device comprises a rotatable pin with a helix, wherein the helix acts on the module element when the pin is rotated to release the locking connection. The pin can, for example, have a pin head with a slot, so that the rotation can be effected using a conventional screwdriver.

[0009] According to one aspect, the invention relates to an electrical connection module with a module housing comprising a module receptacle with a first electrical connection terminal, a module element with a second electrical connection terminal and with a third electrical connection terminal, wherein the module element can be inserted into the module receptacle for electrically connecting the first connection terminal to the second connection terminal and can be held in the module receptacle by means of a releasable latching connection, and a release device for releasing the latching connection.

[0010] The first electrical connection terminal and the second electrical connection terminal can be connected to one another, for example, by means of a plug connection. The first connection terminal can comprise connection poles shaped as connection pins, while the second connection terminal can comprise connection poles shaped as connection tulips. However, the first connection terminal can also comprise connection poles shaped as connection tulips, while the second connection terminal can comprise connection poles shaped as connection pins. The third connection terminal serves, for example, for the external wiring of the electrical connection module and comprises connection poles provided for receiving electrical line ends. The connection poles of the first and second connection terminals can, however, also each comprise a resilient contact pin that presses against a contact metal. The connection pins of the third terminal can be clamp terminals or screw terminals, for example. However, they can also be implemented using IDC technology.

[0011] According to one embodiment, the module housing further comprises an input-output terminal electrically connected to the first connection terminal.

[0012] The input / output terminal is used, for example, to electrically connect the electrical connection module to a line bus or to a line system of a control cabinet.

[0013] According to one embodiment, the first connection terminal, the second connection terminal and the third connection terminal each comprise a width of one pole.

[0014] The first, second, and third connection terminals can, for example, be designed for a voltage between 5 V and 230 V. The module element can have a width of 6.2 mm, so that the electrical connection module can be an analog mini-module.

[0015] According to one embodiment, the module receptacle is defined by two side walls. If multiple module receptacles are arranged next to one another, they can each be defined by a side wall. The module receptacle can be designed to accommodate only one module element or to accommodate a plurality of module elements, which can be arranged one below or one above the other. The module receptacle can therefore have a width corresponding to the width of a module element.

[0016] According to one embodiment, the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal can be electrically connected by means of an electrical plug connection, in particular a pin-tulip plug connection.

[0017] According to one embodiment, the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal each comprise superimposed connection poles, in particular pin connection poles or tulip connection poles, of a multi-pole electrical connection, in particular a multi-pole electrical plug connection. The connection poles are preferably arranged exactly one above the other along a vertical axis, which advantageously allows for maintaining compact dimensions of the electrical connection module.

[0018] According to one embodiment, the third connection terminal is electrically connected to the second connection terminal and is provided for the fixed or detachable reception of electrical lines, in particular for the detachable and force-fitting reception of electrical lines.

[0019] The third connection terminal can be permanently electrically connected to the second connection terminal via, for example, soldered connecting lines and can have connection poles which receive electrical lines, in particular electrical line ends, in a force-fitting manner, for example by means of a clamping pole connection or a screw pole connection.

[0020] According to one embodiment, the third connection terminal comprises electrical connection poles arranged one below the other, in particular exclusively one below the other, in particular clamp connection poles or screw connection poles. The electrical connection poles can be arranged one below the other, for example, along a vertical axis, thereby advantageously achieving compact dimensions for the electrical connection module.

[0021] According to one embodiment, the module element comprises, for example, a cuboid-shaped housing for each electrical connection pole of the third connection terminal. The cuboid-shaped housings are arranged one below the other, and a rear corner section of each cuboid-shaped housing is connected to a front corner section of a cuboid-shaped housing arranged below it. The cuboid-shaped housings can each be arranged in a receiving recess of the module receptacle.

[0022] According to one embodiment, at least one locking lug or locking receptacle arranged in the module receptacle and at least one locking receptacle or locking lug arranged on the module element are provided to produce the releasable locking connection.

[0023] The locking lug or locking receptacle arranged in the module receptacle can be attached, for example, to a wall of the module receptacle, in particular to a side wall, a ceiling wall, or a floor wall. On the module element, the locking lug or locking receptacle can be arranged, for example, laterally or on a ceiling wall or a floor wall of the module element.

[0024] According to one embodiment, the release device comprises a pulling element for pulling the module element out of the module receptacle. For this purpose, the release device can be provided, for example, to transfer a pulling force to the locking connection or to clamp the locking connection.

[0025] According to one embodiment, the release device comprises a pull element for pulling the module element out of the module receptacle. The pull element is, for example, shaped and mounted in such a way that it protrudes from a plane formed by the end face of the module element and is thus accessible to a user.

[0026] According to one embodiment, the tension element is detachably connectable to the module element, in particular detachably connectable by means of a further locking connection, or the tension element is integrally connected to the module element. To establish the locking connection, the module element can comprise a locking element, for example a locking lug or a locking receptacle, on the front, top, or side. For this purpose, a tab with a locking element can be provided, for example. The tension element can also be provided, for example, at the end with a locking element, for example a locking receptacle or a locking lug, which is arranged, for example, laterally. The locking elements of the tension element and the module element engage with each other when locked and offer a tensile resistance that is sufficient to pull the module element out of the module receptacle. The locking connection can be released, for example, by levering it out using the tension element. In the case of an integral connection between the tension element and the module element, the tension element can be glued, soldered, or welded to the module element, for example. However, the tension element can be an integral part of the module element.

[0027] According to one embodiment, the tension element comprises a tension bar and a tension tab, wherein the tension bar is connected or connectable to the module element, in particular at the front or side, and wherein the tension tab is connected to the tension bar. The tension tab advantageously enables easy gripping of the tension bar in order to pull the module element out of the module receptacle.

[0028] The pull element can be used as a labeling surface. Furthermore, the pull element can be rotated 90°, for example, when not in use and attached to the module housing or module element. This ensures that it is always within reach of the user.

[0029] According to one embodiment, the tension element is attached laterally to the module element and forms an extension of a side wall of the module holder or an extension of a side wall of the module element. For this purpose, the tension element can be shaped like a flat tongue that protrudes laterally and can be grasped.

[0030] According to one embodiment, the tension element interacts with a front side of a side wall of the module holder in a form-fitting manner. This form-fitting connection enables, for example, easy reinsertion of the connecting module into the module holder or a defined housing of the module element in the module holder.

[0031] According to one embodiment, the release device comprises a rotatably mounted, in particular spring-mounted, ejection lever, which can be pressed against the module housing or against the module element to release the locking connection.

[0032] The ejection lever can, for example, be arranged laterally on the module element and can be pressed against the module housing, for example, against a wall of the module receptacle, thereby exerting a force on the locking connection. However, the ejection lever can be arranged on the module housing and, for example, act on a projection of the module element to release the locking connection when actuated.

[0033] According to one embodiment, the rotatably mounted ejection lever is rotatably mounted on the module housing and comprises an ejection rocker with an ejection arm that can be pressed against the module element. Alternatively, the rotatably mounted ejection lever is rotatably mounted on the module element and comprises an ejection rocker with an ejection arm that can be pressed against the module housing. The ejection rocker can, for example, be rotatably and spring-mounted at one end of the ejection arm, so that the ejection arm can be pressed against the module element or the module housing, in particular a wall of the module receptacle, when deflected from a rest position. The ejection arm can have a closed frame shape with a straight pressing section that borders laterally on a rounded frame section. However, the ejection rocker can have two ejection arms and be rotatably mounted centrally. The first ejection arm is used to release the connection and the second ejection arm is used to actuate the ejection rocker in order to set the ejection arm that releases the locking connection into a rotational movement, for example.

[0034] According to one embodiment, a slider for actuating the ejection lever is arranged on the module housing. The slider can, for example, be arranged in a channel of the module housing and be accessible from the outside to actuate the ejection lever. For this purpose, the slider can, for example, have a module receptacle for a pin that can be inserted into the channel.

[0035] According to one embodiment, the rotatably mounted ejection lever is arranged laterally on the module element and comprises an ejection arm with a pressing section that can be pressed against the module housing. The rotatably mounted ejection lever alternatively has two ejection arms, each arranged laterally on the module element, each having a pressing section that can be pressed against the module housing and are connected to one another by means of an actuating web. The respective pressing section adjoins a straight lever section, for example at an angle, wherein a bearing point for the rotatable mounting of the ejection lever is arranged in an area between the pressing section and the lever section. Thus, when the lever section is actuated, the angled pressing section can be set in rotation in order to release the locking connection.

[0036] According to a further embodiment, the release device comprises a slider slidably mounted on the module element, which, in a first position, can be positively locked, in particular rear-locked, with a side wall of the module receptacle to establish the locking connection, and which can be moved into a second position to release the locking connection. The slider is arranged, for example, laterally on the module element and can have a flat shape in order to be displaceable, for example, in a gap between the module element and a wall for the module receptacle.

[0037] According to one embodiment, the slider comprises an undercut that can be positively locked to the module housing. For this purpose, a further undercut can be provided on the module housing, for example, which interacts positively with the undercut of the slider. Thus, the slider can be designed to establish the locking connection.

[0038] According to one embodiment, the slider comprises a pin receptacle into which a pin can be inserted to move the slider. This advantageously allows the locking connection to be easily released. The slider can also be spring-mounted and return to a locking position after the locking connection is released.

[0039] According to one embodiment, the module element comprises a coil receptacle for interacting with the coil. The coil can exert a force-locking effect on the coil receptacle upon rotation of the pin, allowing the module element to be pushed out of the module receptacle.

[0040] According to one embodiment, the coil is configured to push the module element out of the module receptacle when the pin is rotated by a predetermined angle, in particular by 180°. This can, for example, release a locking connection.

[0041] According to one embodiment, the coil comprises a first coil region with a coil pitch and a second coil region with a coil pitch, wherein the first coil region is arranged above the second coil region. This ensures that the module element is subjected to force by the coil at two different points along the pin's longitudinal axis, so that the module element can be pushed out of the module receptacle straight and without tilting.

[0042] According to one embodiment, the helix extends at least partially around a pin's longitudinal axis. For this purpose, the helix can be formed in a thread-like manner in some sections.

[0043] According to one embodiment, the helix is designed to screw the pin into the module receptacle when the module element is inserted into the module receptacle, in particular into a receptacle of the module receptacle. This makes it particularly easy to attach the module element.

[0044] According to one embodiment, the coil is formed as a coil spring or coil groove. The coil spring or coil groove can be formed on or in the pin.

[0045] According to one embodiment, the pin is rotatably mounted in the module holder. This allows the pin to be rotated in a guided manner.

[0046] According to one embodiment, the module holder includes a recess for receiving the pin. This allows the pin to be guided and rotated in a centered manner.

[0047] According to one embodiment, the pin can be removably inserted into the module receptacle. For this purpose, the pin can, for example, form a unit together with the module element and be simultaneously inserted into the module receptacle. However, the pin can also be inserted into the module receptacle as a separate element.

[0048] According to one embodiment, the module element comprises a first sub-module element with a first connection terminal and a second sub-module element with a second connection terminal, wherein the pin is arranged between the first sub-module element and the second sub-module element.

[0049] According to one embodiment, the pin is designed to act on the first sub-module element and on the second sub-module element when rotated by means of the helix.

[0050] According to one embodiment, the module element can be pivoted into the module holder. This makes it particularly easy to position the module element in the module holder.

[0051] According to one embodiment, the module element can be releasably suspended from a pivot axis attached to the module housing, in particular to a wall of the module receptacle, for pivoting into the module receptacle. The pivot axis can be implemented, for example, by a horizontal piece of wire, wherein the module element can have a gripping hook that can engage around the piece of wire. According to one embodiment, however, the module receptacle can be provided with a hook, while the module element has a straight piece of wire that can interact with the gripping hook of the module housing. The pivot axis can be arranged, for example, on a bottom wall or on a ceiling wall of the module receptacle.

[0052] According to one embodiment, the module element comprises an uneven base, which interacts positively with an uneven base of the module holder. This additionally improves the retention of the module element in the module holder.

[0053] According to one embodiment, the base of the module holder and the base of the module element are rounded at least in sections. For this purpose, the bases can be undercut so that they are guided past each other when the module element is pivoted into the module holder.

[0054] According to one embodiment, a locking lug is provided on one of the bases and a locking recess is provided on the other base for the locking connection. This enables the bases to be securely locked together.

[0055] According to one embodiment, the module receptacle comprises a receiving channel, wherein the module element comprises a guide cylinder, wherein the guide cylinder can be inserted into the receiving channel, or wherein the module receptacle comprises a guide cylinder, wherein the module element has a receiving channel, and wherein the guide cylinder can be inserted into the receiving channel. Connection poles, for example connection pins or connection tulips, of the respective connection terminal can be arranged in the receiving channel or in the guide cylinder. The guide cylinders and the receiving channels extend, for example, horizontally with respect to a section axis through the module housing or through the module element, thereby enabling particularly simple insertion of the module element into the module receptacle.

[0056] According to one embodiment, the guide cylinder can be pushed out of the receiving channel by means of an ejection lever, wherein the module element has a tapered portion for receiving the module and the ejection lever. The ejection lever can, for example, be inserted into the tapered portion and pressed against it to extend the guide cylinder onto the receiving channel. The locking connection can be released simultaneously by means of the ejection lever, which forms one embodiment of the release device.

[0057] According to one embodiment, the module element comprises at least one guide pin extending transversely to a vertical axis of the module element. A receiving channel, in particular a guide channel, is provided in the module receptacle for receiving the guide pin. The guide channel has a recess for locking the guide pin to establish the locking connection. The recess thus forms a trap for the guide pin and thus secures the module element against being pushed out of the module receptacle. According to one embodiment, several guide pins can be arranged parallel to one another.

[0058] According to one embodiment, a barrier-free release channel is provided parallel to the receiving channel, wherein the release channel is connected to the receiving channel via a recess, wherein the module element is displaceable from the receiving channel in the direction of the barrier-free release channel in order to guide the guide pin through the recess into the barrier-free release channel in order to release the locking connection. To release the locking connection, the module element can, for example, be pressed in the direction of the barrier-free release channel in order to guide the guide pin or several guide pins through the recess or through several recesses, the number of which corresponds to the number of guide pins, into the barrier-free release channel. The module element can then be pushed out of the module receptacle.

[0059] To guide the module element from the receiving channel into the barrier-free release channel, force can be applied using a tool if the recess is smaller than the guide pin to be inserted through. The module element can be removed without force once it is in the release channel. This is because the pull-out forces of the module element are zero in the release channel, for example, because a connecting tuft of a plug connection is no longer seated on a connecting pin.

[0060] According to one embodiment, the module housing comprises a plurality of module receptacles, each having a first electrical connection terminal, a plurality of module elements, each having a second electrical connection terminal and each having a third electrical connection terminal, wherein each module element of the plurality of module elements can be inserted into exactly one module receptacle for electrically connecting the first connection terminal to the second connection terminal and can be held in the module receptacle by means of a releasable latching connection, and a release device for releasing the latching connection for each module element of the plurality of module elements.

[0061] The above statements apply mutatis mutandis to each module element of a plurality of module elements which can be arranged next to one another and / or one below the other in the module housing.

[0062] According to one embodiment, adjacent module receptacles are separated by a side wall.

[0063] According to one embodiment, the module element comprises or forms one of the following elements: a relay, a relay base, a coupling relay, a multi-pin connector, a speed monitor, a safety module, in particular an emergency stop module or a protective door circuit, a sensor, in particular a safety sensor, a standstill or speed monitor, a contactor, a passive isolator, a temperature transducer, an analog frequency converter, a position transducer, a switching amplifier, a limit switch, feed-through terminals, a system power supply, a system adapter, an overvoltage protection device, an isolating amplifier, a current transducer, a safe integrity level function.

[0064] Further embodiments are explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Fig. 1A-1D an electrical connection module according to an embodiment, Fig. 2A, Fig. 2B a locking connection according to an embodiment, Fig. 3A-3C a release device according to an embodiment, Fig. 4A-4C an electrical connection module according to an embodiment, Fig. 5A, Fig. 5B an electrical connection module according to an embodiment, Fig. 6 a module element according to an embodiment, Fig. 7 a module element according to an embodiment, Fig. 8A-8D an electrical connection module according to an embodiment, Fig. 9A, Fig. 9B an electrical connection module according to an embodiment, Fig. 10A-10H an electrical connection module according to another embodiment, and Fig. 11A-11D an electrical connection module according to an embodiment.

[0065] Fig. 1A to 1D show an electrical connection module with one or more module housings 101, which can be arranged side by side. The module housing 101 has a module receptacle 103 with a first connection terminal 105, 107 for receiving a module element 109. The module element 109 has a second electrical connection terminal 111, 113 and a third electrical connection terminal 115, 117. The module element 109 can be inserted into the module receptacle 103, whereby the second connection terminal 111, 113 can be connected to the first connection terminal 105, 107 of the module housing 101.

[0066] The module housing can optionally comprise a further module holder 119 with a further connection terminal 121, 123 for the module holder of a further module element.

[0067] The module element 109 can preferably be plugged into the module receptacle 103, whereby the first connection terminal 105, 107 can be connected to the second connection terminal 111, 113, for example by means of a plug connection. The module element 109 is preferably held in the module receptacle 103 by means of a snap-in connection, wherein a release device 125 is provided for releasing the snap-in connection. The release device 125 is, for example, integrally connected to the module element 109 and extends laterally therefrom. The release device 125 is, for example, shaped in the form of a pulling element with a pulling web 127 and a pulling tab 129. The pulling tab 129 enables the pulling element 125 to be gripped, so that a user can apply a pulling force to the snap-in connection to release the snap-in connection.

[0068] The first connection terminal 105, 107 and the second connection terminal 111, 113 can each be designed as plug-in connections, wherein, for example, the first connection terminal 105, 107 is formed by connection poles 105, 107, which are designed as connection pins. The second connection terminal 111, 113 can, for example, be formed by connection poles 111, 113, which are each shaped as connection tulips. However, the connection poles of the first connection terminal 105, 107 can be designed as connection tulips, and the connection poles of the second connection terminal 111, 113 can also be designed as connection pins. The third connection terminal 115, 117 comprises connection poles 115, 117, which are provided for receiving electrical cable ends. The connection poles 115, 117 are, for example, clamp connection poles or screw connection poles. However, the connection poles 105, 107, 111, 113 can be any connection poles that can establish an electrical connection.

[0069] As it is in Fig. As shown in Figure 1A, the connection pins 105, 107, 111, and 113 of the respective connection terminals are arranged one below the other in a row. This enables a flat design of the module housing.

[0070] The tension web 127 can, for example, be attached laterally to the module element 109 and, for example, extend a lateral wall thereof.

[0071] The module housing 101 further includes an input / output terminal 131 for electrical communication with the electrical connection module.

[0072] Fig. 1B shows the module housing 101 with the module element 109 arranged in the module receptacle 103 and with a further module element 133 arranged in the module receptacle 119. The further module element 133 is constructed, for example, identically to the module element 109.

[0073] In the Fig. 1C and Fig. 1D shows further views of the electrical connection module with a plurality of module housings 101. As in Fig. As illustrated in Figure 1C, the module elements 109, 133 can be removed individually from the respective module housing 101 without having to remove the module elements above or below them. This simplifies wiring of the electrical connection module.

[0074] The Fig. The module housing 101 shown in Figure 1A can be equipped with module elements on one or both sides, whereby the module elements can only be arranged one below the other in a row. This creates flexible and simple connection plates, which can be expanded with additional connection plates as needed.

[0075] Fig. 2A and Fig. 2B show an embodiment of a locking connection which can be used to lock a module element 201. The module element 201 can be identical to the one shown in Fig. 1A and may comprise, for example, the release device 125 or one of the release devices described below. To establish the locking connection, the module element 201 comprises on its underside a locking projection 203 which interacts with a locking receptacle 205, which may be arranged, for example, in the module receptacle 103. The locking receptacle 205 may, for example, have a locking projection 207 and may, for example, be elastically shaped. When the module element 201 is inserted into the module receptacle, the locking projection 203 slides along a bevel 209 of the locking projection 207 and locks behind it, thereby establishing the locking connection. To release the locking connection, the locking projection 207 can, for example, be pushed back. For this purpose, the locking projection 207 can be provided with a rear bevel over which the locking projection 203 can slide to release the locking connection.

The lever section 615 can have, for example, notches 618 at its accessible end, which enable easy actuation of the ejection lever. As in Fig. 6, the pressing portion 613 is connected to the lever portion 615 at an angle, thereby forming an angled lever.

[0084] Fig. 7 shows a module element 701 according to a further embodiment. The module element 701 comprises a second connection terminal 703, 705 and a third connection terminal 707, 709. The second connection terminal 703, 705 and the third connection terminal 707, 709 have features as described, for example, below with regard to the second and third connection terminals. The module element 701 can be held, for example, in a module housing by means of a locking connection. To release the locking connection, a release device 711 is provided, which is formed by ejection arms rotatably arranged laterally of the module element 701. The ejection arms each comprise a lever section 713, 715 and a pressing section 717, 719. The lever sections 713, 715 are connected to one another by means of an actuating web 721 and can be actuated together to release the locking connection. In this case, the release device 711 is set into a rotary movement so that the pressing sections 717, 719, which are connected at an angle to the lever sections 713, 715, are pressed, for example, against the module housing, whereby the locking connection can be released.

[0085] In the Fig. Figures 8A to 8D show an electrical connection module comprising a module housing 801, which can be equipped with module elements on one or both sides, for example. For this purpose, the module housing 801 comprises module receptacles 803, 817, into which module elements 805, 807 can be inserted and secured by means of a respective snap-in connection.

[0086] To release the respective locking connection, a release device 809, 811 is provided, each comprising a slider 813, 815. The sliders 813, 815 can be positively locked, for example, in a first sliding position, with a wall of a respective module receptacle 803, 817, for example, by locking them behind. To release the locking connection, the sliders can be moved, for example, to a second position.

[0087] The slides 813, 815 each comprise an undercut 819, 821 for positive locking, which each interacts with an undercut 823, 825 in the respective module holder 803, 817.

[0088] The sliders 813, 815 can, for example, have sliding tabs 808 arranged on one or both sides of the respective module element 805, 807. These tabs can be connected by webs 810 and each of which contains guide recesses 826, 827 that receive guide projections of the respective module element 805, 807 and can be moved along them. If the sliding tabs are arranged on both sides of the respective module element 805, 807, they can be connected to each other at the front and back by means of a connecting web.

[0089] To release the locking connection, the slides 813, 815 each comprise pin receptacles 829, 831, into which a pin 833 can be inserted to slide the respective slide 813, 815 into the first or second position. According to one embodiment, the slides 813, 815 can be spring-mounted and automatically return to a first sliding position to enable rear locking.

[0090] The module elements 805, 807 can, for example, be pivoted into the module receptacles. For this purpose, pivot axes 835, 837 can be provided on a wall of the respective module receptacle, into which the module elements 805, 807 can be releasably hooked. Optionally, the module elements 805, 807 can each have rounded bases 839 related to the connection pole, which can interact in a form-fitting manner with rounded bases 841 of the module receptacles. This enables particularly easy pivoting of the module elements 805, 807 into the respective module receptacle.

[0091] The Fig. The embodiments illustrated in Figures 8A to 8D also apply analogously to the case where the module housing 801 has a single module receptacle for receiving a single module element.

[0092] The Fig. The module elements 805, 807 shown in Figures 8A to 8D can be secured by means of additional locking elements. As shown in Fig. 8C, the slider 813, 815 can also be cut.

[0093] Fig. 9A and Fig. 9B show an electrical connection module according to one embodiment. The electrical connection module comprises a module housing 901 with module receptacles 903, 905 into which module elements 907, 909 can be inserted. Receiving channels 915, 917, 919, 921 are provided in the module receptacles 903, 905. The module elements 907, 909 comprise guide cylinders 923, 925, 927, 929, which can be inserted into the receiving channels 915-921. Connection poles of the electrical connection terminals of the module housing 901 can be arranged in the receiving channels 915-921. Connection poles of the connection terminals of the module elements can be arranged in the guide cylinders 923-929.

[0094] The module elements 907, 909 are secured in the module receptacles 903, 905, for example, by means of a respective locking connection. To push the guide cylinders 923-929 out of the receiving channels 915-921 and to release the respective locking connection, an ejection lever 931, which can be shaped as an ejection tip, can be inserted into a taper 933, 935 of the respective module element 907, 909. This allows the module elements 907, 909 to be pushed out horizontally, as illustrated in the figures.

[0095] In the Fig. 10A-10H illustrate an electrical connection module according to another embodiment. The electrical connection module comprises a module housing 1001 with module receptacles 1003, 1005, each provided for receiving a module element 1007. The module receptacles 1003, 1005 each comprise connection terminals 1009, 1011, 1013, 1015, which are arranged in receiving recesses 1017, 1019, 1021, 1023. The module element 1007 comprises a connection terminal with the features described above and below.

[0096] The module receptacles 1017-1023 include receiving channels 1025, 1027, which have a pronounced step toward the respective module receptacle. A barrier-free release channel 1027 is provided parallel to the respective receiving channel 1025. Recesses are formed between the receiving channels 1025 and 1027, connecting the receiving channels 1025 and 1027 to each other.

[0097] The module element 1005 comprises a third connection terminal with the features described above and below. Furthermore, the module element 1007 comprises guide cylinders 1029, 1031, which can be inserted into the receiving channel 1025, for example, when the module element 1007 is inserted into the module receptacle 1003. The step in the receiving channel 1025 is designed, for example, as a recess and forms a catch for the guide cylinders 1029, 1031, thereby enabling a snap-in connection. To release the locking connection, the module element 1007 can be moved by means of a guide pin 1033, which can be inserted into a taper 1035 of the module element 1007, in such a way that the guide cylinders 1029, 1031 pass through the tapers from the receiving channel 1025 into the release channel 1027 and can be pushed out of this to remove the module element 1007, as shown in the Fig. 10D-10F. For this purpose, as shown in Fig. 10G, the second connection terminal of the module element 1005 is provided with an elongated hole 1037 in which a connection pin 1039 of the connection terminal of the module housing 1001 is arranged. Due to the elongated hole 1037, a displacement of the module element 1007 is possible in order to release the locking connection.

[0098] The module element 1007 can then be removed, for example, by hand.

[0099] The Fig. The module housing 1001 shown in Figure 10A can be provided to accommodate a single module element 1007 or a plurality of module elements 1007. The module housing 1001 and the module element can have features of the module housings and module elements described above and below.

[0100] In the Fig. 11A to 11D illustrate an electrical connection module according to one embodiment. The electrical connection module comprises a module housing 1101 with a module receptacle 1103, which includes receiving recesses 1105, 1107 for receiving a connection terminal of a connection module 1109. The module element 1109 comprises a third connection terminal 1111, 1113 with connection poles into which cable ends 1115, 1117 can be inserted.

[0101] The module element 1109 can be pivoted, for example, into the module receptacle 1103. For this purpose, a pivot axis 1119 is provided on the module housing 1109, onto which the module element 1109 can be suspended, for example, at the front. This allows a rotational movement about the pivot axis 1119 and the module element 1109 can be re-guided into the module receptacle 1103. For this purpose, the receptacle recesses 1105, 1107 can optionally have rounded bottoms 1121, 1123, which can form-fit the shape of likewise rounded bottoms 1125, 1127 of the module element 1109. The module element 1109 can preferably be latched in the module receptacle 1103. For this purpose, the respective bottom 1121, 1123 of the respective receptacle recess 1105, 1107 can have a Fig. 11D have locking lug 1126 shown as an example.

[0102] To release the locking connection, a receptacle can be provided on the module element 1109, into which a pin 1129 can be inserted to pivot the module element 1109 out of the module receptacle 1103 to release the locking connection.

[0103] When the module element 1109 is pivoted into the module holder 1103 and when the module element 1109 is pivoted out of the module holder 1103, it is rotated about the pivot axis 1119. The pivot axis 1119 can, for example, have a piece of wire 1131 that can be inserted into a recess 1133 of the module element 1109, whereby the module element 1109 can be suspended and pivoted about the pivot axis 1119.

[0104] In the Fig. 12A and Fig. 12B shows views of an electrical connection module according to one embodiment. The release device comprises a rotatable pin 1201 with a coil 1203, which can be realized by an external thread attached to the pin 1201. The coil 1203 acts on the module element 1205 when the pin 1201 rotates about the pin's longitudinal axis to release the locking connection. For this purpose, the module element 1205 can have a coil receptacle, for example a web or an internal thread. However, the coil 1203 can be formed as a coil spring or coil groove. The rotation of the pin 1201 can be effected, for example, by means of a tool 1204, for example a screwdriver.

[0105] Due to an interaction between the coil 1203 and the coil holder, the module element 1205 is pressed out of the module holder 1209, as shown in Fig. 12B is shown.

[0106] According to one embodiment, the module element 1205 comprises a first sub-module element 1215 with a first connection terminal 1217 and a second sub-module element 1219 with a second connection terminal 1221, wherein the pin 1201 is arranged between the first sub-module element 1215 and the second sub-module element 1219. The first connection terminal 1217 and the second connection terminal 1221 form a common connection terminal of the module element 1205.

[0107] The pin 1201 can therefore act simultaneously and force-symmetrically on the first sub-module element 1215 and on the second sub-module element 1219 when rotated by means of the helix 1203.

[0108] To release the connection, for example, a locking connection, between the module element 1205 and the module receptacle, the pin 1201 can be rotated by a predetermined angle of rotation, in particular by 180°. For this purpose, the pin 1201 can be rotatably mounted in the module receptacle 1209, for example, in a recess in the module receptacle 1209.

[0109] According to one embodiment, the coil 1203 is configured to automatically screw or twist the pin 1201 into the module receptacle 1209 upon insertion of the module element 1205. For this purpose, the pin or coil may include an external thread in the front region of the pin, which, due to the selected thread pitch, automatically screws into the module receptacle 1209, i.e., into the base housing for the module element 1205, upon insertion of the module element 1205.

[0110] In the Fig. 13A, Fig. 13B and Fig. 13C are views of an electrical connection module according to one embodiment. As shown in Fig. 13A and Fig. 13B, the pin 1201 is unscrewed using the tool 1204. In doing so, the module element 1205 is pressed out of the module receptacle. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 13C, the coil 203, for example, a thread, rotates out of the module receptacle, allowing the module element 1205 to be released and removed particularly easily. To insert the module element 1205 into the module receptacle, the coil 1203, for example, rotates automatically into the module receptacle. This allows for particularly simple fastening of the module element 1205 in the module receptacle.

[0111] According to one embodiment, the Fig. 12A and Fig. The electrical connection module shown in Figure 12B may comprise a plurality of module elements 1205 having the features described above.
