Description
[0001] The invention relates to a cooktop with a decorative frame and a seal attached to the underside of the decorative frame. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device with such a cooktop and a worktop having a recess in which the cooktop is arranged.

This patent provides for a circumferential, closed seal on the underside of an outwardly projecting rib of the decorative frame, which is also arranged on the upper side of the worktop. Such a seal seals the gap between the decorative frame and the worktop, preventing contaminants from getting under the decorative frame and potentially into the recess in which the cooktop is recessed.
