Camera washing device with: a high-pressure air generating part (10, 10a to 10f) which generates high-pressure air, a spray nozzle (13) having a spray portion (13b) for spraying the high-pressure air generated by the high-pressure air generating part (10, 10a to 10f) toward a lens (14a) of a camera, a washing water supply part which stores washing water, a merging connector (11) having a high-pressure air passage (11a) and a washing water passage (11b), wherein the high-pressure air passage (11a) is configured to supply the high-pressure air generated by the high-pressure air generating part (10, 10a to 10f) to the spray nozzle (13), and wherein the washing water passage (11b) is configured to cause the washing water to merge with the high-pressure air flowing in the high-pressure air passage (11a), an opening / closing part configured to be switched between an open state and a closed state and to allow or block a flow of the washing water to the high-pressure air passage (11a), and a control part (15) which controls the opening / closing part to the open state to mix the high-pressure air and the washing water in the high-pressure air passage (11a) so that water particles are generated, wherein the spray section (13b) sprays the water particles towards the lens (14a), wherein the spray section (13b) of the spray nozzle (13) sprays the high-pressure air to the lens (14a) of the camera mounted on an exterior part of a motor vehicle, the camera washing device further comprises an object detection part which detects an object in the vicinity of the motor vehicle, and the control part (15) further comprises a stop part which instructs the opening / closing part to close the washer water pipe (18b) when the object detecting part detects the presence of an object in the vicinity of the motor vehicle.
