Abstract

Optoelectronic component (1) comprising: - a substrate (3); - a first electrode layer (5) arranged in a stacking direction (V) on a surface (4) of the substrate (3); - an active layer sequence (7) for generating electromagnetic radiation with an emission wavelength (L) arranged in the stacking direction (V) on the first electrode layer (5); - a second electrode layer (9) arranged in the stacking direction (V) on the layer sequence (7); and - a protective layer (11) arranged in the stacking direction (V) on the second electrode layer (9), wherein the optoelectronic device (1) has a first operating state (Z1) and a second operating state (Z2), wherein at least one dimension (d2) of the optoelectronic device (1) in the second operating state (Z2) differs from the corresponding dimension (d1) in the first operating state (Z1), and wherein the optoelectronic device (1) is configured to emit electromagnetic radiation (S1) with a first emission wavelength (L1) in the first operating state (Z1) and electromagnetic radiation (S2) with a second emission wavelength (L2) in the second operating state (Z2), which differs from the first emission wavelength (L1) in a predetermined manner, wherein at least one dimension (d2) of the optoelectronic component (1) in the second operating state (Z2) differs from the corresponding dimension (d1) of the optoelectronic component (1) in the first operating state (Z1) as a result of a mechanical deformation, and wherein at least one dimension (d1,d2) represents a geometric extent in a lateral or vertical direction within the active layer sequence (7).
