Description

[0001] The invention relates to a laying device for a large format panel which has two flat sides and a circumferential narrow side.

[0002] Such a laying device for a large format panel is known from CN 101 832 019 A. This laying device comprises a support frame which is provided on a chassis. A support arm is pivotably provided on the support frame, which arm receives a suction plate of a suction device at an end opposite the support frame. This suction plate has a suction opening which, for handling the large format panel, rests against a flat side of the large format panel and, with the help of a suction motor, grips the large format panel while creating a vacuum. To control a pivoting movement of the support arm, which has a positively controlled drive for carrying out a pivoting movement of the suction plate, a compressed air cylinder is provided which engages the support arm and initiates a pivoting movement. The compressed air cylinder is supplied via a compressed air reservoir.

[0003] Furthermore, a laying device for floor covering panels is known from DE 23 16 019 A. This laying device comprises a support frame, which is provided on an axle of a pair of tires. Handles are provided on the support frame for moving the laying device. Furthermore, a lifting cylinder is provided on the support frame, which can be controlled by an actuating lever on a handle. This lifting cylinder controls the lifting and lowering movement of a boom, at the free end of which a gripping device is provided. This gripping device can grip a floor panel and hold it suspended above the ground for transport to an installation site. The floor panel is placed at the installation site in the same suspended position.

[0004] EP 2 722 464 A2 discloses another installation device for a large-format panel. This installation device comprises a support frame on which a chassis is arranged to form a mobile lifting device. A support arm is pivotably mounted on the support frame, which arm has, at an end opposite the support frame, a suction gripping device comprising a suction plate with a holder, wherein the holder is pivotably mounted about a rotation axis provided on the support arm. The suction plate has a suction opening which, in a gripping position, rests against a flat side of the large-format panel and, with a suction motor, engages the large-format panel to create a vacuum. Furthermore, a handle, fixed to the support frame, is provided for manually moving the installation device. To move the suction plate up and down or to transfer the suction plate from a laying position, in which the large format panel is suspended from the suction plate above a floor, into an upright loading position, the pivoting movement of the support arm is carried out by a cable pull. This cable pull can be operated manually or by a motor. The loading position can also be a working position that is easily accessible for the user, for example to apply tile adhesive or similar to a flat side of the large format panel. To transfer the large format panel from the loading or working position to the laying position, when using a manual cable pull, the user must manually lower the large format panel in a controlled manner. This is not necessary when designed with a pressure damper in the form of a gas damper or a motor-driven cable pull.

[0005] DE 22 65 263 C2 discloses a device for laying block- or slab-shaped road surface elements. This device comprises a support frame with a fixed handle. A support arm is pivotably mounted on the support frame, which accommodates a gripping device for the road surface elements at an opposite end.

[0006] US 2003 / 0172511 A1 also discloses a laying device comprising a support frame with a handle fixedly mounted thereon. At the opposite end of the support frame, a suction plate is provided for gripping road surface elements after applying a vacuum.

[0007] The invention is based on the object of creating a laying device for large format panels which is structurally simple and enables easy handling for laying large format panels.

[0008] This problem is solved by a laying device for a large format panel, in which the support arm, by pivoting about a rotation axis on the support frame when the support arm is lifted, transfers a suction plate of the suction device, which is provided at the free end of the support arm, from a laying position to a working position, wherein the suction plate is controlled by a positively controlled drive at least while the support arm is being lifted. A handle engages the support arm. The handle can be pivoted about the rotation axis on the support frame. When the handle pivots from an initial position to a pivot position, the support arm relative to the support frame and the positively controlled drive are controlled and the suction plate is moved from the laying position to the working position. This creates a laying device in which the support arm and the positively controlled drive for controlling the suction plate as well as at least one handle can be pivoted about the rotation axis of the support arm. Only the support frame remains stationary on the floor, whereas the other components of the laying device are pivoted in order to move the suction plate into the working position. In this working position, the large format panel is positioned, for example, at a height and / or position in which the user can comfortably apply tile adhesive or the like to one flat side of the large format panel. In the working position, a large format panel standing on a floor or a pallet can also be easily grasped. In the working position, this flat side points upwards. In the working position, the flat side of the large format panel is therefore arranged differently from the laying position. In the installation position, the flat side points towards the installation location.

[0009] It is preferably provided that the at least one handle engages directly on the support arm and is firmly connected to it. When the handle is pivoted, it can be moved from the starting position into the pivoting position and the support arm and the positively controlled drive are controlled at the same time. In a starting position of the handle, for example, the suction plate can be aligned parallel to the floor or the installation location or is slightly raised from it. This allows the installation device to be moved to the installation location. Alternatively, the suction plate can also rest on the installation location in the starting position of the at least one handle. A pivoting position of the handle is achieved by pivoting the handle or moving it towards the floor in order to move the suction plate into a working position via a pivoting movement of the support arm and the positively controlled drive.

[0010] This usually positions the handle close to the ground or pivots toward it. By directly engaging at least one handle with the support arm and a fixed connection, a direct force transfer from the handle to the support arm can be achieved, activating the positively controlled drive during a pivoting movement of the support arm.

[0011] A preferred embodiment of the laying device provides that the positively controlled drive controls the pivoting movement of the suction plate relative to the support arm between the laying position and the working position during a pivoting movement of the support arm relative to the support frame, both during raising and lowering of the support arm. This ensures a controlled pivoting movement of the suction plate relative to the support arm both during raising and lowering of the suction plate.

[0012] Preferably, the positively controlled drive extends between a first pivot bearing of the support arm, which is preferably formed between the support arm and the rotation axis on the support frame, and a second pivot bearing, which is preferably formed between the free end of the support arm and the holder of the suction plate, which is pivotally mounted on a further rotation axis on the support arm. This allows for a structurally simple design for positioning the positively controlled drive on or within the support arm.

[0013] The positively controlled drive is advantageously designed as a lever arrangement, in which a third pivot bearing is provided, preferably fixedly mounted on the support arm, between the first and second pivot bearings, over which the lever arrangement is guided. This enables controlled control of a pivoting movement of the suction plate at the free end of the support arm during a pivoting movement of the support arm.

[0014] Preferably, a reversing lever is provided on the third pivot bearing of the lever assembly, which pivotally receives a push rod leading to the pivot bearing at one end and a tension rod leading to the second pivot bearing at the other end. As a result, when the support arm is raised around the rotation axis on the support frame, a pivoting movement of the suction plate in the second pivot bearing on the support arm is controlled in the same direction.

[0015] The push rod preferably engages a lever arm that is fixedly mounted on the support frame. This lever arm can be aligned at an angle of, for example, 60 to 90° to the horizontal plane of the chassis. This arrangement allows an actuating force to be introduced into the lever assembly during a lifting movement of the support arm or a pivoting movement of the support arm to control a pivoting movement of the suction plate at the end of the support arm.

[0016] The lever arrangement further comprises a strut engaging the second pivot bearing, which is coupled to the tension strut, wherein the strut is short in relation to the tension strut. A driver is preferably provided on the strut, which driver engages the suction plate holder when controlling a pivoting movement of the suction plate from a laying position to the working position. This results in forced control of the suction plate after a first lifting of the support arm. By arranging the driver on the strut, preferably at a distance from the suction plate holder in a laying position, the suction plate can be pivoted and aligned within a small angular range within the laying position. This also has the advantage that when the support arm pivots around the rotation axis on the support frame, the suction plate initially lifts, essentially parallel to the installation location or floor, and then pivots with a delay. This also ensures that when the suction plate is transferred from the working position to the installation position, a narrow side aligned with the installation location does not engage or become caught on the installation location or floor during transfer to the installation position.

[0017] The lever arrangement preferably controls a positively guided pivoting movement of the suction plate. Preferably, when transferring the support arm from a laying position to the working position, the support arm is pivoted about the first pivot bearing toward the fixed lever arm, initiating a pushing movement on the push rod. This actuates the reversing lever and causes a pulling movement on the pull rod. This, in turn, actuates the strut engaging the second pivot bearing, whereby the engagement of the driver with the bracket initiates a pivoting movement of the suction plate.

[0018] The lever arrangement can be designed as a single arm. Preferably, the lever arrangement is designed as a double arm, meaning that two parallel, spaced-apart links of the lever arrangement are provided, which are preferably held apart by fixed axes between them. This creates a torsion-proof and preferably more rigid arrangement.

[0019] An alternative embodiment of the positively driven drive is provided by a cable pull arrangement which has at least one deflection pulley and a traction cable, wherein the deflection pulley is preferably mounted on a third pivot bearing on the support arm and the traction cable engages with one end on a lever arm which is assigned in a rotationally fixed manner to the first pivot bearing and with the other end engages the holder which carries the suction plate. As a result, a pivoting movement of the support arm in turn initiates and controls a pivoting movement of the suction plate about the axis of rotation at the end of the support arm. Preferably, instead of one deflection pulley, there can be several deflection pulleys in the manner of a pulley block, which enables a reduction in force when controlling the pivoting movement of the suction plate.

[0020] A further alternative embodiment of the positively controlled drive provides a cylinder arrangement with at least a first and a second pressure cylinder. These pressure cylinders can be designed as hydraulic cylinders and are preferably connected to one another via pressure lines and, in particular, aligned in opposite directions. A first pressure cylinder is arranged on a lever arm, which is rotationally fixedly assigned to the first pivot bearing and is attached opposite to the third pivot bearing of the support arm. The at least one second pressure cylinder engages the bracket adjacent to the second pivot bearing and controls a pivoting movement of the suction plate via the bracket about the second pivot bearing. The first and at least one second cylinder are preferably connected to one another via pressure lines in such a way that a retraction movement of a piston rod of the first cylinder controls an extension movement of the piston rod of the second pressure cylinder during a pivoting movement of the support arm.

[0021] According to a further alternative embodiment, the positively controlled drive is designed as a rack and pinion gear arrangement. This also enables simple, mechanical control for pivoting the suction plate relative to the support arm when a pivoting movement of the support arm is initiated.

[0022] A first embodiment of the rack and pinion gear assembly preferably comprises a gear and two racks, wherein the gear is rotatably mounted on the third pivot bearing of the support arm, and a first rack is articulated to a lever arm that is non-rotatably associated with the first pivot bearing. The opposite end of the first rack engages the gear. The second rack is driven by the gear and is articulated to the bracket opposite it, adjacent to the second pivot bearing. This rack and pinion gear assembly operates in a similar way to the previously described lever assembly.

[0023] Another embodiment of the rack and pinion gear assembly comprises a gear and a rack. The gear is provided on the second pivot bearing on the support arm and is rotationally fixedly connected to the bracket that holds the suction plate. The rack is pivotally mounted on a lever arm that is rotationally fixedly associated with the first pivot bearing. The opposite end of the rack engages the gear, converting the rotational movement of the gear into the pivoting movement of the suction plate.

[0024] A third embodiment of the rack and pinion gear assembly provides a gear and a rack, with the gear being non-rotatably mounted on the first pivot bearing. The rack engages the gear at one end and is articulated at the opposite end and arranged adjacent to the second pivot bearing on the bracket. In this embodiment, too, a pivoting movement of the suction flap is actively controlled by a pivoting movement of the support arm around the first pivot bearing.

[0025] Thanks to the positively controlled drive, the suction plate can be pivoted around the second pivot bearing within a pivoting range of, for example, 45 to 120°. The angle range can be adjusted depending on the pivoting range for the handle to initiate the pivoting movement of the support arm.

[0026] Preferably, the handle and the support arm are arranged on the support frame so that they can rotate at an angle between 10 and 80°, preferably 30 to 60°, and in particular at 45°. This allows, for example, the transfer of the suction plate from the installation position to the working position to be achieved by the user pressing the handle, which is preferably positioned at waist height, toward the floor. In the working position, the worker can apply tile adhesive in an ergonomically favorable position.

[0027] A further preferred embodiment of the laying device provides a support on the support arm, preferably one that is adjustable in height. This support points towards a large-format panel that is held in the suction plate. The suction plate preferably engages the large-format panel off-center, so that a narrow side facing the support frame, which faces the floor when the suction plate is in a working position, is closer to the suction plate than an opposite narrow side. This allows a pivoting movement without contact with the floor when the large-format panel is pivoted from the working position into the laying position. However, this would then result in an oblique alignment of the large-format panel in the laying position. The support can ensure alignment in the laying position.

[0028] A preferred embodiment of the laying device provides a wheel axle with a pair of wheels on the support frame, and the wheel axle is preferably located in the rotational axis of the support frame. This allows for a particularly compact and simple design of the laying device.

[0029] Furthermore, counterweights are preferably provided on the support frame, aligned opposite the support arm. These counterweights are preferably replaceable, so that, depending on the size of the large-format panel to be handled, a corresponding number of counterweights can be arranged on the support frame for safe handling.

[0030] To secure the working position of the suction plate, the support arm and / or handle can preferably be arranged in the working position with a locking device to the support frame after the pivoting movement. This locking position can preferably lock automatically after the support arm and / or handle have been moved into the working position. This increases work safety.

[0031] According to a first embodiment, the locking device can be configured, for example, by means of a preferably spring-loaded locking bolt, which can be controlled via a Bowden cable with an actuating lever. According to a further embodiment, a step-by-step mechanism can be used, which automatically locks after the handle and / or the support arm are moved into the locking position and unlocks upon additional downward pressure on the handle and / or the support arm, thus enabling a return pivoting movement.

[0032] A further preferred embodiment of the laying device provides the suction motor on the handle. This creates a counterweight to the suction plate arranged at the opposite end of the support arm, thus facilitating the handling of the laying device when transferring it from the laying position to the working position.

[0033] A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides a pivot bearing between the suction plate and the holder that holds the suction plate. This pivot bearing is preferably rotatable about a perpendicular to the suction plate. This allows the large-format plate to be aligned about its vertical axis, i.e., a perpendicular to the plane in which the flat sides extend.

[0034] Preferably, at least one actuating element is provided for manually moving the laying device. This enables simple operation of the laying device without additional motor assistance.

[0035] The at least one actuating element advantageously extends in the opposite direction to the support arm with respect to the axis of rotation on the support frame.

[0036] Furthermore, the at least one actuating element can be attached to the support frame. In this embodiment, the at least one handle for performing a pivoting movement of the support arm is provided separately from the actuating element. Alternatively, the handle can form the actuating element. This allows the handle to be used simultaneously for a moving movement of the laying device and for transferring the large-format panel into the working position.

[0037] The invention, as well as further advantageous embodiments and developments thereof, are described and explained in more detail below with reference to the examples shown in the drawings. The features shown in the description and the drawings can be used individually or in any combination according to the invention. [0038] In Fig. Figure 1 shows a schematic side view of a laying device 11 for handling large-format slabs 12. Such large-format slabs 12 are, for example, heavy slabs or tiles with a flat side size of 50 x 50 cm or more. These slabs can have a smooth or rough surface on their decorative surface. The opposite side is intended for the application of an adhesive, tile adhesive, or the like. Such large-format slabs 12 can also have dimensions of 100 x 300 cm or 300 x 300 cm and weigh 30 kg or more. For easier handling, the Fig. 1 and shown in more detail in the following figures.

[0039] The laying device 11 according to Fig. 1 is provided in a laying position 14. In Fig. 2, the laying device 11 is arranged in a working position 16.

[0040] The laying device 11 comprises a support frame 18, on which a chassis 20 is provided for mobile handling. The chassis 20 comprises at least one wheel axle 19 for receiving a pair of wheels 21. Furthermore, the chassis 20 can have one or more support wheels 23 on the support frame, spaced from the pair of wheels 21. For example, counterweights 24 are provided above the support wheels 23. The number of counterweights 24 that can be arranged on the support frame 18 depends on the size of the large-format panel 12 to be handled.

[0041] A support arm 26 is pivotally mounted on the support frame 18. A pivot axis 27 is formed between the support arm 26 and the support frame 18. The pivot axis 27 can be arranged on the support frame 18 separately from the wheel axis 19. In a preferred embodiment, the wheel axis 19 lies on the pivot axis 27. The support arm 26, together with the support frame 18, forms a first pivot bearing 29 on the pivot axis 27, which is fixed to the support frame 18 and preferably lies on the pivot axis. The support arm 26 has a second pivot bearing 31 at its first end opposite the pivot bearing 29. A suction plate 32 of a suction device 33 is pivotally mounted on this second pivot bearing 31. A holder 34 is provided to accommodate the suction plate 33. This holder 34 is designed, for example, as a tube which is pivotably mounted in the second pivot bearing 31 about a rotation axis 35 on the support arm 26.

[0042] A handle 37, designed as a frame, tubular rack, or the like, engages the support arm 26. This handle extends from an engagement point on the support arm 26, which is located between the first and second pivot bearings 29, 31 or in the first pivot bearing, in the opposite direction to the cantilever direction of the support arm 26. Handles 38 are provided at the upper free end of the handle 37 for operating the laying device 11.

[0043] A motor drive can also be provided to perform the pivoting movement or to assist the pivoting movement of the support arm 26 relative to the support frame 18. This motor drive can be operated with at least one accumulator, which is preferably arranged on the support frame 18. With a motor-driven pivoting movement of the support arm 26 to perform the pivoting movement, the handle 37 can be arranged separately from the support arm 26 and is preferably attached to the support frame 18.

[0044] Advantageously, a suction motor 39 of the suction device 33 is provided on the handle 37, in particular adjacent to the handles 38, so that easier operation of the suction device 33 is enabled. The suction motor 39 can also be provided adjacent to the rotational axis 27 and / or wheel axis 19. The suction motor 39 can also be provided on the support frame 18. A control line 41 leads from the suction motor 39 to the suction plate 32, which has a connection therefor on a rear side. The suction plate 32 has a suction opening 36 opposite the holder 34, which is preferably surrounded by a circumferential seal, thereby forming a holding surface with which the suction plate 32 rests against a flat side of the large-format plate 12. After a vacuum is applied by means of the suction motor 39, the large-format plate 12 is sucked onto the suction plate 32 and held there due to the suction effect of the holding surface of the suction plate 32.

[0045] A support 43, which is preferably height-adjustable, is provided on the support arm 26 of the laying device 11 between the first and second pivot bearings 29, 31. A flat side of the large-format panel 12, which is held by the suction plate 32, can rest against this support 43. This allows a horizontal alignment of the suction plate 32, which is pivotally mounted on the second pivot bearing 31.

[0046] To transfer the laying device 11 from the laying position 14 according to Fig. 1 into the working position 16 according to Fig. 2, the user pivots the handle 37 toward the ground, thereby raising the support arm 26 above the ground. To facilitate the handling or pivoting movement of the laying device 11, an additional handle 45 can be provided on the handle 37.

[0047] When transferring the laying device 11 from the laying position 14 to the working position 16, the large format panel 12 is moved from a substantially horizontally aligned laying position 14 ( Fig. 1) into an upright working position 16 ( Fig. 2). This pivoting movement is controlled by a positively controlled drive 50, which according to a first embodiment is designed as a lever arrangement 51 ( Fig. 3). This positively controlled drive 50 is provided on or within the support arm 26. This lever arrangement 51 is shown schematically in Fig. 3 shown both with solid lines for the laying position 14 and dashed lines for the working position 16.

[0048] The lever arrangement 51 comprises a lever arm 52, which is fixedly arranged on the support frame 18. This first lever arm 52 is arranged at one end in the first pivot bearing 29. At the opposite end, the lever arm 52 accommodates a push rod 53, which is connected to a reversing lever 54. This reversing lever 54 is mounted on a third pivot bearing 56. This third pivot bearing 56 is fixedly provided on the support arm 26. The reversing lever 54 actuates a tension rod 57, which in turn is articulated to a short rod 58, which engages the second pivot bearing 31.

[0049] This lever arrangement 51 is preferably designed with two arms. For example, a further side view of the first pivot bearing 29 according to Fig. 4 and a perspective view of the second pivot bearing 31 according to Fig. 5. The lever arms 52 are spaced parallel to one another and are fixedly connected to the support frame 18. At the opposite end of the lever arms 52, an axis 76 is provided to pivotally accommodate the push rods 53 and simultaneously stiffen the arrangement. The support arm 26 is provided so as to be rotatable relative to the first pivot bearing 29. This double-armed embodiment of the lever arrangement 51 also has the advantage that the holder 34—for example, in the form of a square tube—can be easily accommodated between two struts 58 spaced parallel to one another. In addition, the driver 59 in the form of a plug pin can extend between the two struts 58, thereby creating a simple and robust arrangement.

[0050] This driver 59 is arranged at a distance from the second pivot bearing 31, so that the holder 34 can pivot freely around the second pivot bearing 31 within a pivoting range, and thus the suction plate 32 is mounted within the pivoting range. This pivoting movement is limited on one side by the driver 59.

[0051] The first, second and third pivot bearings 29, 31, 56 of the lever device 51 are each provided in a fixed position on the support arm 26. Likewise, the handle 37 is provided fixedly on the support arm 26. If the handle 37 or the handles 38 are arranged according to arrow 61 ( Fig. 3) is moved into the dashed position, the support arm 26 pivots about the first pivot bearing 29. The third pivot bearing 56 is moved into the working position 16 according to arrow 62 and the second pivot bearing 31 according to arrow 63. The pivoting movement of the support arm 26 transmits an actuating force to the push rod 53 via the lever arm 52. This drives a pivoting movement of the bell crank 54 about the third pivot bearing 56. As a result, the tension rod 57 is moved clockwise about the second pivot bearing 56, whereby the rod 58 is also rotated clockwise about the second pivot bearing 31. As a result, the driver 59 comes into contact with the holder 34 after at least a slight lifting movement of the support arm 26. During a further pivoting movement, the suction plate 32 is thereby forcibly pivoted clockwise about the second pivot bearing 31 in order to assume the working position 16.In this working position 16, for example, the large format plate can be positioned at hip or chest height of a user so that the user can comfortably coat the free flat side of the large format plate with a tile adhesive or the like.

[0052] After transferring the laying device 11 from the laying position 14 to the working position 16, a locking device 66 can maintain the working position 16. Such a locking device 66 is shown, for example, in Fig. 6 is shown schematically in a simplified side view. This locking device 66 has a locking bolt 67, which is spring-loaded and can be controlled by means of a Bowden cable 68 via a hand lever 69. A locking opening 71 is provided on the support arm 26, into which the locking bolt 68 can engage when the position matches. For self-locking positioning of the locking bolt 67 in the locking opening 71, a run-on bevel 72 is preferably provided, which moves the locking bolt 67 against the spring force, so that it subsequently engages independently in the locking opening 71 and secures the working position 16. To release this locking position, the Bowden cable 68 is actuated via the hand lever 69, so that the pivoting movement of the handle 37 is then released again.

[0053] Alternatively, and not shown in more detail, the locking device 66 can be designed as a stepping mechanism, as described in more detail in DE 10 2007 057 373 B4, to which reference is made in full with regard to the design and function.

[0054] In Fig. 7a is a schematic side view of an alternative embodiment of the laying device 11 according to Fig. 1 shown in a laying position. Fig. 7b shows the laying device 11 according to Fig. 7a in the working position. The positively controlled drive 50 is designed in this alternative embodiment as a cable pull assembly 80. This cable pull assembly 80 comprises a deflection pulley 81, which is rotatably mounted on the third pivot bearing 56. This third pivot bearing 56 is positioned on the support arm 26 differently from the lever assembly 51. The cable pull assembly 80 further comprises a pull cable 82. This pull cable 82 is connected at one end to the lever arm 52, which is rotationally fixedly assigned to the first pivot bearing 29. An opposite end of the cable pull 82 engages the holder 34 at a distance from the second pivot bearing 31. This point of engagement is opposite the suction plate 32 with respect to the rotation axis 35. When transferring the support arm 26 from the laying position 14 according to Fig. 7a into the working position 16 according to Fig. 7b, the deflection roller 81 moves away from the support arm 52, whereby the pivoting movement of the suction plate 32 about the rotation axis 35 is controlled.

[0055] In Fig. 8a is an alternative embodiment of the laying device 11 in Fig. 1 shown in installation position 14. Fig. 8b shows this alternative embodiment of the laying device 11 according to Fig. 8a in the working position 16. In this alternative embodiment of the laying device 11, the positively controlled drive 50 is formed by a pressure cylinder arrangement 84. This preferably has a first and at least one further pressure cylinder 85, 86. These pressure cylinders 85, 86 can be designed as hydraulic cylinders. A first pressure cylinder 85 engages one end of the lever arm 52, which is non-rotatably associated with the first pivot bearing 29 and opposite it with the third pivot bearing 56. The pressure cylinder 85 can, as in Fig. 8a, so that a piston rod of the pressure cylinder 85 engages the lever arm 52. A reversed arrangement is also possible.

[0056] The second pressure cylinder 56 is pivotally connected to the holder 34, with the point of engagement on the holder 34 being remote from the suction plate 32. Opposite the point of engagement on the holder 34, the pressure cylinder 86 can be fastened to the support arm 26 or to a support 43 received by the support arm 26. The pressure cylinders 85, 86 are each directly connected to one another by at least one control line. A retraction movement of the piston rod into the piston housing of the first pressure cylinder 85 controls an extension of the piston rod relative to the piston housing of the second pressure cylinder 26, and vice versa. As a result, a pivoting movement of the support arm 26 about the first pivot bearing 29 necessarily controls a pivoting movement of the suction plate 32 about the second pivot bearing 31.

[0057] In Fig. 9a is another alternative embodiment of the laying device 11 to Fig. 1 shown in installation position 14. Fig. 9b shows the laying device 11 according to Fig. 9a in the working position 16. In this alternative embodiment, the positively controlled drive 50 is designed as a rack and pinion gear arrangement 90.

[0058] In this embodiment in the Fig. 9a and Fig. 9b, the rack and pinion gear arrangement 90 comprises a gear 51 and a first and second rack 92, 93. The gear 91 is rotatably mounted in the third pivot bearing 56 on the support arm 26. The first rack 92 is pivotally mounted on the lever arm 52, which is provided so as to be non-rotatable with respect to the first pivot bearing 29. The opposite end of the first rack 92 engages the gear 91 and drives it during a pivoting movement of the pivot arm 26 about the first pivot bearing 29. The second rack 93 is driven at one end by the gear 91. The opposite end of the second rack 93 engages the holder 34 and is pivotally mounted adjacent to the rotation axis 35 and opposite the suction plate 32. This rack and pinion gear arrangement 90 can thus in turn forcibly initiate the pivoting movement of the suction plate 32 during a pivoting movement of the support arm 26.

[0059] In the Fig. 10a and Fig. 10b is an alternative embodiment of the rack and pinion gear assembly 90 to the Fig. 9a and Fig. 9b. This rack and pinion gear arrangement 90 comprises a gear 91 and a first rack 92. The gear 91 is arranged in the second pivot bearing 31 on the support arm 26 and is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the holder 34. The gear 91 is rotatably mounted in the second pivot bearing 31. The rack 92 is pivotally mounted at one end on the lever arm 52. The lever 52 is rotationally fixedly assigned to the first pivot bearing 29. At the opposite end, the first rack 92 engages the gear 91. When the support arm 26 pivots, the gear 91 is rotated, which forcibly controls the pivoting movement of the suction plate 32.

[0060] In the Fig. 11a and Fig. 11b shows the laying device 11 with a further alternative embodiment of the rack and pinion gear arrangement 90 to the embodiments in the Fig. 9a, Fig. 9b and the Fig. 10a, Fig. 10b. This alternative embodiment of the rack and pinion gear assembly 90 has a gear 91 and a rack 92. The gear 91 is arranged in the first pivot bearing 29. This gear 91 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the support arm 26. The rack 92 engages the gear 91 at one end. At the opposite end, the rack 92 engages the holder 34 and is articulated thereto. The articulated engagement point of the holder 34 is adjacent to the second pivot bearing 31 and opposite the suction plate 32. A pivoting movement of the support arm 26, in turn, automatically triggers a pivoting movement of the suction plate 32.

[0061] In Fig. 12 shows a further alternative embodiment of the laying device 11 for handling large format panels 12. This laying device 11 corresponds in construction to the laying device according to Fig. 1. This laying device 11 is provided in the laying position 14. In addition, in this embodiment of the laying device 11, at least one actuating element 95 is provided on the support frame 18. By means of this at least one actuating element 95, the laying device 11 can be moved manually to the laying location or between individual laying locations. The at least one actuating element 95 comprises a handle 96 to guide and control the laying device 11 during the movement. For example, the at least one actuating element 95 can engage in the support frame 18 or in the area of the rotation axis 27 and / or the wheel axle 19. The at least one actuating element 95 is provided such that a pivoting movement of the handle 37 can take place without hindrance. For example, two actuating elements 95 formed at a distance from one another can be provided so that the handle 37 can be pivoted therebetween. The handle 37 is in Fig. 12 in a starting position 98. In this starting position 98 of the handle 37, the suction plate 32 is preferably arranged in the laying position 14. The handle 37 can be pivoted from the starting position 98 into a pivoting position 99 according to Fig. 13. This swivel position 99 also corresponds to the Fig. 1. The support arm 26, the suction device 33, the positively controlled drive 50, and the handle 37 are pivoted together about the rotation axis. Only the support frame 18 remains stationary on the floor. This pivoting movement of the handle 37, which is preferably initiated with the handle 38 and / or the handle 45, can occur unhindered by the at least one actuating element 95.

[0062] In the pivoting position 99 of the handle 37, the suction plate 32 is preferably provided in the working position 16.
