Abstract

Cylinder head (16) for a four-cylinder internal combustion engine, having an intake side with two intake-side valve trains, each valve train having a first camshaft (4) rotatably mounted in a first and a second camshaft bearing (2, 3) with at least one cam (5) with a first cam curve (6) and a second cam curve (7) different from the first cam curve (6), wherein a gas exchange valve can be actuated with the first or the second cam curve (6, 7), wherein a camshaft section (8) is provided with which the cam (5) can be displaced via an actuating means (9) such that the gas exchange valve can be actuated either via the first or the second cam curve (6, 7), wherein the first camshaft (4) and the cam (5) have a fixed position relative to one another and the first camshaft (4) is axially displaceable in the first and the second camshaft bearing (2, 3). is,wherein each valve train (1) is provided for two cylinders each, and wherein the cylinder head (16) has a single exhaust-side second camshaft (12) for all four cylinders.

Claims

[1] Cylinder head (16) for a four-cylinder internal combustion engine, with an intake side with two intake-side valve trains, each valve train having a first camshaft (4) rotatably mounted in a first and a second camshaft bearing (2, 3) with at least one cam (5) with a first cam curve (6) and a second cam curve (7) different from the first cam curve (6), wherein a gas exchange valve can be actuated with the first or the second cam curve (6, 7), wherein a camshaft section (8) is provided, with which the cam (5) can be displaced via an adjusting means (9) in such a way that the gas exchange valve can be actuated either via the first or the second cam curve (6, 7), wherein the first camshaft (4) and the cam (5) have a fixed position relative to one another and the first camshaft (4) is axially is movable,wherein each valve train (1) is provided for two cylinders each, and wherein the cylinder head (16) has a single exhaust-side second camshaft (12) for all four cylinders. [2] Cylinder head (16) according to claim 1, characterized by that the cam (5) and the first camshaft (4) are one-piece and made of the same material. [3] Cylinder head (16) according to claim 1, characterized by that the cam (5) on the first camshaft (4) joined or shrunk. [4] Cylinder head (16) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized by that the first camshaft (4) is hollow. [5] Cylinder head (16) according to one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the cylinder head (16) has the exhaust-side second camshaft (12) rotatably mounted in a third and a fourth camshaft bearing (10, 11) and arranged parallel to the first camshaft (4), characterized bythat a first spur gear (13) is arranged radially around the first camshaft (4) and a second spur gear (14) is arranged radially around the second camshaft (12), wherein the first spur gear (13) and the second spur gear (14) are operatively connected to one another via a third spur gear (15). [6] Cylinder head (16) according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized by that the first camshaft (4) has a plurality of cams (5) with two cam curves and is provided for two cylinders of the internal combustion engine arranged in series.
