Abstract
A process for producing a casting mold, comprising the following steps: - Providing a mold (1) with at least two mold parts which can be arranged so that they enclose a cavity (K) between them, - Arranging a filling device (2) on at least one first mold part of the at least two mold parts, such that a first cavity (H) remains between a surface area (1.1) of the first mold part, which limits the cavity (K) that can be formed between the mold parts, and the filling device (2), which is a partial area of the cavity (K) that can be formed between the mold parts, - Introducing a molding material (3) into the first cavity (H) through one or more channels (2.2) formed in or by the filling device (2), - Removal of the filling device (2), whereby the molding material (3) remains on the first mold part, - Arranging a calibration device (4) on the first mold part, such that a second cavity (H') is formed between the first mold part and the calibration device (4), which contains the molding material (3), such that a surface area (4.1) of the calibration device (4) limiting the second cavity (H') contacts the molding material (3), - Heating the surface area (4.1) of the calibration device (4) that defines the second cavity (H') and a surface area of the first mold part that defines the second cavity (H'), - Removal of the calibration device (4), - Arranging the first mold part, on which the molding material (3) is arranged, on at least one further mold part of the at least two mold parts, so that the cavity (K) is formed between them, wherein the molding material (3) is arranged within the cavity (K) on the surface area (1.1) of the first mold part, which delimits the cavity (K), and a free volume of the cavity (K) defines a mold for a molded part (5) to be cast.
