Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a line reel of a spinning reel used for fishing.

[0002] A spinning reel used for fishing comprises a spool, a rotor with a pair of rotor arms, and a line guide mechanism (that is, a bail arm) which is pivotally mounted at the distal end of the rotor arm pair. The line guide mechanism directs the fishing line to the spool. The line guide mechanism includes a bail arm, a pair of bail support elements that support the two ends of the bail arm, and a line roller.

[0003] The line spool is supported by a bearing, allowing it to rotate freely. It is necessary to prevent water from entering the bearing. JP 2006-101704A discloses a spinning reel that seals the bearing supporting the line spool in a watertight and dustproof manner. The spinning reel of JP 2006-101704A comprises a line spool rotatably supported by a bearing, a support section of a support element attached to a support arm of a rotor that rotates in conjunction with actuation of the handle, and a sealing element arranged between the line spool and the support section. A collar, on which a retaining section of the sealing element is arranged, is positioned between the line spool and the bearing, and the sealing element is held by the retaining section so that the distal end of the sealing element can be in sliding contact with the side of the retaining section.

[0004] In the cord reel of JP 2006 - 101 704 A, the sealing element is in sliding contact with the outer circumferential surface of a disc to fix the bearing's position in the axial direction, and the outer circumference of the disc is sealed. However, the contact surface between the disc and the support section to which the disc is attached, and the contact surface between the disc and an arm lever that holds the disc, are connections between hard components, so it is possible for water to penetrate the bearing through these contact surfaces.

[0005] DE 10 2018 132 310 A1 also reveals a spinning reel that seals the bearing that carries the line reel in a waterproof and dustproof manner.

[0006] Taking into account the circumstances described above, the objective of the present invention is to prevent the ingress of water into the bearing between the support element that carries the bearing in the radial direction and the collar that fixes the position of the bearing in the axial direction.

[0007] A line reel according to one aspect of the present invention guides the line to the spool of a spinning reel and comprises a cylindrical guide element with a guide surface for guiding the line around an outer circumference, a bearing rotatably supporting the inner circumferential surface of the guide element, a support element radially supporting the inner circumferential surface of the bearing, a collar abutting an axial side surface of the bearing and fixing its axial position, and a watertight element arranged between the collar and the support element at a contact surface therein around the entire circumference about the axis of rotation of the guide element. A continuous groove is formed on the collar and / or the support element at the contact surface between the collar and the support element around the entire circumference about the axis of rotation, and the watertight element is arranged in the groove.

[0008] Preferably, the collar has a first collar and a second collar, which axially enclose the bearing on both sides to fix its axial position. The watertight element comprises a first watertight element arranged between the first collar and the support element at their contact surface around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation, and a second watertight element arranged between the second collar and the support element at their contact surface around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation. A continuous first groove is formed on the first collar or the support element at the contact surface between the first collar and the support element, extending around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation. The first waterproof element is arranged in the first groove and a continuous second groove is formed on the second collar or the support element at the contact surface between the second collar and the support element over the entire circumference around the axis of rotation, with the second waterproof element being arranged in the second groove.

[0009] Preferably, the groove is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the support element.

[0010] Preferably, the waterproof element is an O-ring.

[0011] Alternatively, the waterproof element can also be a lip seal.

[0012] Alternatively, the waterproof element can also be a water-repellent grease.

[0013] Since the waterproof element is arranged at the contact surface between the support element, which carries the bearing of the cord reel in a radial direction, and the collar, which fixes the position of the bearing in an axial direction, it is possible according to the present invention to prevent water from entering the bearing between the support element and the collar.

[0014] The invention is then described in more detail with reference to the drawings, wherein Fig. 1 is a side view of a spinning reel comprising a line reel according to an embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 2 is a front view of a spinning reel comprising a line reel according to one embodiment; Fig. Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel according to a first embodiment; Fig. Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel according to a modified example of the first embodiment; Fig. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel, where a waterproof element is a lip seal; Fig. Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel when the waterproof element is water-repellent grease; and Fig. Figure 7 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

[0015] One embodiment of the present invention is described in detail below with reference to the drawings. The same or similar parts in the drawings are assigned the same reference numerals.

[0016] Fig. Figure 1 is a side view of a spinning reel comprising a line reel according to an embodiment of the present invention. The spinning reel for fishing 100 comprises a reel body 110, a rotor 120, a spool 130, a handle 140, and a fishing line guide mechanism 2. The rotor 120 can be rotated around the spool 130 by turning the handle 140. The spool 130 moves back and forth in the left-right direction. Fig. 1. Synchronous with the rotation of the rotor 120. The fishing line is guided through the fishing line guide mechanism 2 and by the rotation of the rotor 120 around the left-right axis of Fig. 1. The line is wound around the spool 130. When the bait element attached to the end of the line is cast, the line wound around the spool 130 is wound in a left-hand direction. Fig. 1. Unrolled. The direction in which the fishing line is unrolled or cast is defined as the front.

[0017] The reel body 110 comprises a housing part 111 and a cover section 112. The cover section 112 can be detached from the housing part 111. Furthermore, the housing part 111 has a longitudinally extending mounting section 113 for attaching the fishing reel 100 to a fishing rod. The mounting section 113 is a section that is attached to the fishing rod. The handle 140 can be attached to either the left or right side of the reel body 110. Fig. 1. The handle 140 is attached on the right side when the fishing reel 100 is viewed from the front.

[0018] The rotor 120 has a first rotor arm 122 and a second rotor arm 123. The fishing line guide mechanism 2 is pivotally mounted by the distal end sections of the first rotor arm 122 and the second rotor arm 123 to assume a line guide position and a line release (casting) position. The fishing line guide mechanism 2 can be pivoted about the axis that intersects the axis of rotation of the rotor 120, that is, about the vertical axis in Fig. 1. The fishing line guide mechanism 2 has a first bail support element 21, a second bail support element 22, a bail 23 and a support shaft (support element) 24 which rotatably supports the guide element of the line reel.

[0019] The first bracket support element 21 has a first end section 21a and a second end section 21b. The first end section 21a is pivotably mounted by the distal end section of the first rotor arm 122. The second end section 21b of the first bracket support element 21 carries a first end section 23a of the bracket 23 via the support shaft 24.

[0020] The second bracket support element 22 has a first end section 22a and a second end section 22b. The first end section 22a is pivotably mounted by the distal end section of the second rotor arm 123. The second end section 22b carries a second end section 23b of the bracket 23.

[0021] Fig. Figure 2 is a front view of a spinning reel comprising a line reel according to the embodiment. Fig. Figure 2 shows a state in which the fishing line guide mechanism 2 assumes the line guide position. Fig. 2 is the handle 140 in contrast to Fig. 1 mounted on the left side when the fishing reel 100 is viewed from the front.

[0022] The bail 23 is essentially a U-shaped element made of a stainless steel alloy. The bail 23 is bent to project outwards along the outer circumferential surface of the spool 130 in the line guide position. The first end section 23a of the bail 23 is supported by the first bail support element 21 via the support shaft 24. The second end section 22b of the bail 23 is supported by the second bail support element 22.

[0023] When the line guide mechanism 2 returns from the line release position to the line guide position, the fishing line is guided so that it passes over the outside of the bail 23 into Fig. 2 from the front of the fishing reel 100 to the spool 130. The end of the fishing line is attached to the spool 130. When the rotor 120 moves into Fig. As the rotor 2 rotates clockwise in the line guide position, the fishing line slides on the outside of the bail 23 to the first end section 23a and falls into the line reel 3. Since the spool 130 does not rotate when the rotor 120 continues to rotate, the fishing line is pulled from the line reel 3 and wound around the spool 130.

[0024] The line reel 3 rotates around the axis of the rotor 120 when the rotor 120 rotates, and the guide element of the line reel 3, which contacts and guides the fishing line, rotates around the support shaft 24. It is important that the guide element of the line reel 3 rotates smoothly around the support shaft 24 to avoid damaging the line.

[0025] Fig. Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel according to a first embodiment. Fig. Figure 3 shows a cross-section passing through the axis around which a guide element 6 of the line reel 3 rotates. In the line reel 3, the cylindrical guide element 6 is rotatably mounted about the support shaft 24, which is fixedly mounted by the first bail support element 21 and the bail 23. The fishing line is in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the guide element 6 and is guided to the spool 130 by the rotating guide element 6. The outer circumferential surface of the guide element 6 is the guide surface for guiding the fishing line. In the following descriptions, the axis of rotation of the line reel 3 denotes the central axis around which the guide element 6 rotates. The axial direction denotes the direction in which the axis of rotation of the guide element 6 extends. The axial direction denotes the direction in which the support shaft 24 extends, and in Fig. 3 is the left-right direction, the axial direction. Furthermore, the radial direction refers to the radial direction of a circle centered on the axis of rotation. Additionally, the circumferential direction refers to the circumferential direction of the circle centered on the axis of rotation.

[0026] The cord reel 3 comprises a guide element 6, a first bushing 8 and a second bushing 9, a first bearing 11 and a second bearing 12, a first collar 4, a spacer 7, a second collar 5, and a support shaft 24, which acts as a support element. The guide element 6 is supported and adjusted axially and radially by the first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9. The first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9 are rotatably mounted by the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12, respectively. The inner circumferential surfaces of the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 are supported radially by the support shaft 24, which acts as a support element. The axial positions of the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 are determined by the first collar 4, the spacer 7, and the second collar 5.

[0027] The guide element 6 has a step formed at both ends in the axial direction of a small-diameter section 61, which has a small inner diameter and a shape that widens axially and radially from the step. The first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9 each have flanges 81, 91 that project radially inward in the axial direction at one end and have large-diameter sections 82, 92 with steps on the outer diameter at the other ends. The first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9 are arranged such that the flanges 81, 91 face each other, and the flanges 81, 91 of the two bushings 8, 9 are located between the outer races of the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12.The step on the inner circumferential surface of the guide element 6 is arranged axially between the diameter-sized sections 82, 92 of the first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9. Fig. 3. The first socket 8 and the second socket 9 have the same shape and are arranged facing each other in opposite directions.

[0028] The first collar 4, the first bearing 11, the spacer 7, the second bearing 12, and the second collar 5 are mounted on the support shaft 24 in this order. The spacer 7 is positioned between the inner ring of the first bearing 11 and the inner ring of the second bearing 12, and the other axial side surface of the inner ring of the first bearing 11 rests against the first collar 4. The other axial side surface of the inner ring of the second bearing 12 rests against the second collar 5. The other axial side surface of the first collar 4 rests against the bracket 23 and is fixed. The other axial side surface of the second collar 5 rests against the first bracket support element 21 and is fixed. A large-diameter flange 27 is formed at one end of the support shaft 24, and an internal thread is formed at the other end along the central axis. A bolt 30 is screwed in and tightened against the internal thread of the support shaft 24.The flange 27 of the support shaft 24 abuts an edge of a hole 21c formed in the first bracket support element 21, and a head 31 of the screw 30 abuts an edge of the hole 23c formed in the bracket 23. The bracket 23, the first collar 4, the first bearing 11, the spacer 7, the second bearing 12, the second collar 5, and the first bracket support element 21 are arranged and fixed between the head 31 of the screw 30 and the flange 27 of the support shaft 24.

[0029] The line reel 3 can be exposed to splashing water during fishing. This means that water can splash onto the outer circumference of the guide element 6, the bail 23, the first bail support element 21, the head 31 of the screw 30, and the flange 27 of the support shaft 24. Therefore, it is possible for water to enter the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 via the contact surface between the first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9 of the guide element 6, the opening between the first bushing 8 and the first bushing 4, and the opening between the second bushing 9 and the second bushing 5. Furthermore, it is possible for water to penetrate the first bearing 11 from the contact surface between the bail 23 and the first collar 4 or the contact surface between the bail 23 and the support shaft 24, through the contact surface between the first collar 4 and the support shaft 24.Furthermore, it is possible for water to penetrate from the contact surface between the first bracket support element 21 and the second collar 5, or from the contact surface between the first bracket support element 21 and the support shaft 24, through the contact surface between the second collar 5 and the support shaft 24 into the second bearing 12. In the cord reel 3 according to the first embodiment, these areas are made watertight.

[0030] In this embodiment, an O-ring 84 is arranged in a groove 83 that extends continuously around the outer circumferential surface of a diameter-sized section 82 of the first bushing 8. The contact surface between the guide element 6 and the first bushing 8 is sealed by the O-ring 84. Similarly, an O-ring 94 is arranged in a groove 93 that extends continuously around the outer circumferential surface of a diameter-sized section 92 of the second bushing 9, and the contact surface between the guide element 6 and the second bushing 9 is sealed by the O-ring 94. The two O-rings 84 and 94 prevent water from penetrating the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 from the contact surfaces between the guide element 6 and the first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9, respectively.Since the two O-rings 84, 94 are in close contact with the guide element 6 and the first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9, vibrations and noise of the guide element 6, the first bushing 8 and the second bushing 9 are also prevented.

[0031] An annular first lip seal 42, formed from an elastic body, is arranged between the first collar 4 and the diameter-sized section 82 of the first bushing 8. An annular second lip seal 52, also formed from an elastic body, is arranged between the second collar 5 and the diameter-sized section 92 of the second bushing 9. The first lip seal 42 fits into a groove 41 that extends around the entire outer circumference of the first collar 4. The second lip seal 52 fits into a groove 51 that extends around the entire outer circumference of the second collar 5. The first lip seal 42 and the second lip seal 52 are each inserted into the grooves 41 and 51 in their relaxed state and are in close contact with the bottoms of the grooves 41 and 51.The outer circumferential tip of the first lip seal 42 bears against or lies close to the inner circumferential surface of the diameter-sized section 82 of the first bushing 8 and seals the opening between the first collar 4 and the first bushing 8. The outer circumferential tip of the second lip seal 52 bears against or lies close to the inner circumferential surface of the diameter-sized section 92 of the second bushing 9 and seals the opening between the second collar 5 and the second bushing 9.

[0032] A first groove 25, extending around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation, is located where the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24 connects to the first collar 4, and an O-ring 13, which is a first watertight element, fits into the first groove 25. A second groove 26, extending around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation, is located where the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24 connects to the second collar 5, and an O-ring 14, which is a second watertight element, fits into the second groove 26.

[0033] The O-ring 13 presses against the inner circumferential surface of the first collar 4 and the bottom of the first groove 25, preventing water from entering the first bearing 11 via the contact surface between the first collar 4 and the support shaft 24. The O-ring 14 presses against the inner circumferential surface of the second collar 5 and the bottom of the second groove 26, preventing water from entering the second bearing 12 via the contact surface between the second collar 5 and the support shaft 24.

[0034] As described above, the contact surface and the opening extending from the outside of the cord reel 3 to the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 are sealed by the O-rings 84, 94, the first lip seal 42, the second lip seal 52, the O-ring 13 (the first watertight element), and the O-ring 14 (the second watertight element), thus making the second bearing 12 watertight. In particular, the O-ring 13 and the O-ring 14 prevent water from entering the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 via the contact surface between the support shaft 24 (the support element for the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12) and the first collar 4 and the second collar 5 (which fix the axial positions of the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12).This ensures that the sealing of the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 is maintained, as is the uniform rotation of the guide element 6.

[0035] The cord reel 3 according to the first embodiment is not attached to the one in Fig. The embodiment shown in Figure 3 is limited. For example, the orientations of the support shaft 24 and the bolt 30 can be reversed so that the flange 27 of the support shaft 24 rests against the bracket 23 and the head 31 of the bolt 30 rests against the first bracket support element 21. For example, the guide element 6 and the first bushing 8 or the guide element 6 and the second bushing 9 can be formed integrally. The guide element 6, the first bushing 8, and the second bushing 9 can also be formed integrally. In such an embodiment, the O-ring 84 or the O-ring 94 can be omitted.

[0036] The opening between the first bushing 8 and the first collar 4, or the opening between the second bushing 9 and the second collar 5, is not limited to being sealed with a lip seal. For example, a water-repellent grease, a labyrinth seal, or a magnetic fluid seal can be used. Furthermore, the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12 can be combined, and the guide element 6 can be supported by a bearing.

[0037] The first groove 25, in which the O-ring 13 is arranged, can also be formed on the inner circumferential surface of the first collar 4. In such an embodiment, the O-ring 13 presses against the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24 and the bottom of the first groove 25, which is arranged in the first collar 4. Furthermore, the second groove 26, in which the O-ring 14 is arranged, can also be formed on the inner circumferential surface of the second collar 5. In this embodiment, the O-ring 14 presses against the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24 and the bottom of the second groove 26, which is arranged in the second collar 5.

[0038] Furthermore, the bracket 23 and the first collar 4 can be integrally formed, and the bracket 23 can directly define the position of the first bearing 11. In such an embodiment, the bracket 23 also serves as the first collar 4, and the O-ring 13 seals the contact surface between the bracket 23 and the support shaft 24. Additionally, the first bracket support element 21 and the second collar 5 can be integrally formed, and the first bracket support element 21 can directly define the position of the second bearing 12. In this embodiment, the first bracket support element 21 also serves as the second collar 5, and the O-ring 14 seals the contact surface between the first bracket support element 21 and the support shaft 24.

[0039] Fig. Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel according to a modified example of the first embodiment. In the modified example, the second groove 26 is not located in the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24, but rather in a surface of the support shaft 24 that faces the axial side of the second collar 5 and intersects the axis of rotation. The other configurations are the same as in the first embodiment.

[0040] In the modified example, the flange 27 of the support shaft 24 also bears against the edge of the bore 21c of the first yoke support element 21, and the first yoke support element 21 bears against the axial side surface of the second collar 5 to determine the position of the second collar 5. In the modified example, the flange 27 has two steps, and a smaller diameter section 28 of the flange 27 faces the axial side surface of the second collar 5. The axial side surface of the second collar 5 and the smaller diameter section 28 of the flange 27 are extremely close together, and the surface of the smaller diameter section 28, which intersects the axis of rotation, and the axial side surface of the second collar 5 can be considered a contact surface.

[0041] The second groove 26 is located on the surface of the small-diameter section 28 that intersects the axis of rotation, and the O-ring 14, which is the second watertight element, is located in the second groove 26. The O-ring 14 presses against the axial side surface of the second collar 5 and the bottom of the second groove 26, preventing water from entering the second bearing 12 via the contact surface between the second collar 5 and the support shaft 24. The surface of the small-diameter section 28 that intersects the axis of rotation is not limited to a plane orthogonal to the axis of rotation, but can be a conical surface, a spherical surface, or the like.

[0042] If, for example, the outer shape of the bore 21c of the first bracket support element 21 and the section of the support shaft 24 that fits into the bore 21c of the first bracket support element 21 have an irregular shape that is not a cylindrical surface, so that the support shaft 24 does not rotate relative to the first bracket support element 21, it is possible to fix the axial position of the second collar 5 with the support shaft 24. In such an embodiment, the smaller diameter section 28 of the flange 27 of the support shaft 24 bears against the second collar 5, and the surface of the smaller diameter section 28, which intersects the axis of rotation, and the axial side surface of the second collar 5 are contact surfaces.

[0043] The first and second waterproof elements are not limited to O-rings 13 and 14. A lip seal can be used as a waterproof element. Fig. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel when the waterproof element is a lip seal. Fig. Figure 5 shows the main parts of the cord reel 3, and the bail 23 and the first bail support element 21 have been omitted.

[0044] In the cord reel 3 according to Fig. In the first groove 25, a lip seal 15 made of an elastic body is arranged as the first watertight element, and in the second groove 26, a lip seal 16 made of an elastic body is arranged as the second watertight element. The other configurations are the same as in Fig. 3. The lip seal 15 and the lip seal 16 are installed in the stretched state and are in close contact with the bottoms of the first groove 25 and the second groove 26, respectively. The outer circumference of the lip seal 15 rests against the inner circumferential surface of the first collar 4, and the lip seal 15 prevents water from entering the first bearing 11 via the contact surface between the first collar 4 and the support shaft 24. The outer circumference of the lip seal 16 rests against the inner circumferential surface of the second collar 5 and prevents water from entering the second bearing 12 via the contact surface between the second collar 5 and the support shaft 24.

[0045] As described in the first embodiment, it is also possible in the embodiment according to Fig. 5 the first groove 25 is arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the first collar 4 and the lip seal 15 can be arranged on the first collar 4. Furthermore, the second groove 26 can be arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the second collar 5 and the lip seal 16 can be arranged on the second collar 5. In such an embodiment, the lips of the lip seals 15, 16 are oriented radially inwards. The lip seals 15, 16 are designed such that no gap is formed between the cross-section of the lip seals 15, 16 and the cross-section of the grooves 25, 26, thus preventing the lip seals from twisting during the assembly of the cord reel 3.

[0046] The cross-sectional shape of the lip seals 15, 16 is not based on the one in Fig. The shape shown in section 5 is limited. The cross-sectional shape can be any shape, such as a polygonal shape, an arc-shaped shape, or a combination of a segment of an ellipse and a polygon, provided that the lip seals are arranged in the grooves 25, 26 and act as a seal. Furthermore, as in the modified example of Fig. 4, the second groove 26 is arranged on a surface of the support shaft 24 which faces the axial side surface of the second collar 5 and intersects the axis of rotation.

[0047] Water-repellent grease can be used as a first waterproof element and as a second waterproof element. Fig. Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel when water-repellent grease is used as a waterproof element. Fig. Figure 6 shows the main parts of the cord reel 3, and the bail 23 and the first bail support element 21 have been omitted.

[0048] For the cord reel 3 according to Fig. In the first groove 25, water-repellent grease 17 is arranged as the first waterproof element, and in the second groove 26, water-repellent grease 18 is arranged as the second waterproof element. The other configurations are the same as in Fig. 3. During assembly, the first groove 25 and the second groove 26 are filled with the water-repellent greases 17, 18, and the water-repellent greases 17, 18 also penetrate the tiny gaps at the contact surfaces between the support shaft 24 and the first collar 4 and the second collar 5. The water-repellent greases 17, 18 prevent water from entering the first bearing 11 via the contact surface between the first collar 4 and the support shaft 24, and prevent water from entering the second bearing 12 via the contact surface between the second collar 5 and the support shaft 24.

[0049] The first groove 25 and the second groove 26 can be formed on the inner circumferential surfaces of the first collar 4 and the second collar 5, respectively. In this embodiment as well, the first groove 25 and the second groove 26 are filled with the water-repellent greases 17, 18. The first groove 25 can be arranged either on the inner circumferential surface of the first collar 4 or on the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24. In this embodiment, the first groove of the first collar 4 and the first groove 25 of the support shaft 24 do not have to be opposite each other. The second groove 26 can be arranged either on the inner circumferential surface of the second collar 5 or on the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24. In this embodiment, the second groove of the second collar 5 and the second groove 26 of the support shaft 24 do not have to be opposite each other.

[0050] Fig. Figure 7 is a cross-sectional view of the cord reel according to a second embodiment of the present invention. In the second embodiment, the first bracket support element 21, the support shaft 24, and the second collar 5 are integrally formed. Therefore, the second groove 26 and the second watertight element are not provided. The other features are the same as in the first embodiment.

[0051] In the second embodiment, the first bracket support element 21 simultaneously serves as a support shaft 24 and radially supports the inner circumferential surfaces of the first bearing 11 and the second bearing 12. Furthermore, a projection section 29 with a diameter one step larger than that of the support shaft 24 also serves as a second collar, bearing against the inner running surface of the second bearing 12 and fixing its axial position. The bracket 23, the first collar 4, the first bearing 11, the spacer 7, and the second bearing 12 are arranged and fixed between the head 31 of the screw 30 and the projection section 29 of the first bracket support element 21. In the second embodiment, the support shaft 24 and the second collar 5 are integrally formed without a contact surface. The groove 51 is formed on the outer circumference of the projection section 29 of the first bracket support element 21, and the second lip seal 52 fits into the groove 51.The opening between the insertion section 29 and the second bushing 9 is sealed with the second lip seal 52.

[0052] In the second embodiment, the contact surface between the guide element 6 and the first bushing 8 is sealed with the O-ring 84, and the contact surface between the guide element 6 and the second bushing 9 is sealed with the O-ring 94. An annular first lip seal 42, formed from an elastic body, is arranged between the first collar 4 and the large-diameter section 82 of the first bushing 8, and the first lip seal 42 seals the opening between the first collar 4 and the first bushing 8.

[0053] A first groove 25, which extends around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation, is located where the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24 connects to the first collar 4, and an O-ring 13, which is a first watertight element, is inserted into the first groove 25. The O-ring 13 presses against the inner circumferential surface of the first collar 4 and the bottom of the first groove 25 and prevents water from entering the first bearing 11 via the contact surface between the first collar 4 and the support shaft 24.

[0054] In the second embodiment, as described in the first embodiment, the orientations of the support shaft 24 and the bolt 30 can be reversed, and the support shaft 24, the bracket 23, and the first collar 4 can be formed integrally. In such an embodiment, the first groove 25 and the first watertight element are omitted, and the O-ring 14, which is the second watertight element, is arranged in the second groove 26, which is formed on the contact surface between the second collar 5 and the support shaft 24.

[0055] In a configuration similar to the modified example of Fig.4. The first bracket support element 21 and the support shaft 24 can be separate, and the support shaft 24 and the second collar 5 can be formed integrally. In such an embodiment, the outer shape of the hole 21c of the first bracket support element 21 and the section of the support shaft 24 that fits into the hole 21c of the first bracket support element 21 have an irregular shape that is not a cylindrical surface, so that the support shaft 24 does not rotate relative to the first bracket support element 21. If the support shaft 24 and the second collar 5 are formed integrally without a contact surface between them, the second groove 26 and the second watertight element are omitted.

[0056] In the second embodiment, the first groove 25, in which the O-ring 13 is arranged, can be positioned on the inner circumferential surface of the first collar 4. In this embodiment, the O-ring 13 presses against the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 24 and the bottom of the first groove located on the first collar 4. The bracket 23 and the first collar 4 can be formed integrally, and the bracket 23 can directly define the position of the first bearing 11. In this embodiment, the bracket 23 also serves as the first collar 4, and the O-ring 13 seals the contact surface between the bracket 23 and the support shaft 24. Furthermore, instead of the O-ring 13, the first lip seal 15 or the water-repellent grease 17 can be used.
