Description

The invention relates to a method for operating an assistance system of a motor vehicle and to an assistance system of a motor vehicle and to a motor vehicle. In manual operation of motor vehicles, such as passenger cars, it is possible for the driver to incorrectly estimate a current driving situation and to move in a driving lane opposite to the driving direction for which the driving lane is intended. In this case, the motor vehicle represents a wrong-way driver. Especially in evening and night hours, if visual detection of traffic signs and environmental situations is made more difficult, the probability for this is increased. In automated operation of the motor vehicle, it is also possible that in the event of a malfunction, the motor vehicle is moved counter to the intended direction of travel. If a further road user, such as a further motor vehicle, is moving in the intended direction of travel in the same lane, there is the possibility of a collision. If another road user is moved in the same lane according to the traveling direction, there is a possibility of collision. In this case, the possible damage in the event of a collision is comparatively great, since both road users, i.e. the two motor vehicles, are each moved towards one another at a speed. It is therefore necessary to warn the two road users. For this purpose, a radio announcement or the like is usually selected, in which a corresponding message is transmitted to the motor vehicles by means of radio waves, for example in the context of a traffic announcement. This results in an acoustic warning of the driver of the further motor vehicle that a wrong-way driver is driving in his environment. A corresponding warning is also usually output on a display arranged in an interior of the further motor vehicle. Furthermore, it is also known to project a warning by means of projectors onto a front or rear side of the further motor vehicle, so that all road users moving in the region of the further motor vehicle, who have not received the message relating to the wrong-way driver, are likewise warned visually.DE 10 2017 201 924 A1 discloses a method for informing at least one receiver vehicle about a wrong-way vehicle. A server device is used for this purpose.DE 10 2008 061 747 A1 discloses a system for adapting a vehicle. The vehicle has a projector. A driving assistance system for generating a light distribution by a vehicle for outputting a driving instruction is also known from DE 10 2015 201 764 B4.The object of the invention is to specify a particularly suitable method for operating an assistance system of a motor vehicle and a particularly suitable assistance system of a motor vehicle and also a particularly suitable motor vehicle, wherein safety is advantageously increased. With regard to the method, this object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1, with regard to the assistance system by the features of claim 7 and with regard to the motor vehicle by the features of claim 8. Advantageous refinements and refinements are the subject matter of the respective dependent claims. The method serves for operating an assistance system of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle is, for example, a utility vehicle. However, the motor vehicle is particularly preferably a passenger car (passenger car). The motor vehicle has, for example, an internal combustion engine, an electric motor or a combination thereof for propulsion. The motor vehicle is provided and configured to be moved on a road or at least one road section. In other words, the motor vehicle is landborne. The method provides that a message relating to a wrong-way driver is received. By means of the message, a position of the wrong-way driver is transmitted and the latter is moved along a specific road section counter to the direction of travel. The position of the wrong-way driver is, for example, comparatively accurate or has a plurality of individual positions / points at which the latter can be located, that is to say in particular a route along the route section, wherein the start and the end point of the route section are specified. The message is transmitted, for example, by means of radio waves from an external location to the motor vehicle and consequently also to the assistance system. For this purpose, the assistance system has, for example, a suitable radio receiver or is connected by signal technology to the radio receiver, that is to say to the unit for receiving the message. The message is, for example, a warning about the wrong-way driver, i.e., a road user who is moved along a lane opposite to the direction of travel provided for this purpose. The external site is, for example, an official site or a radio transmitter, and the radio waves are transmitted omnidirectionally, for example. In a further alternative, the message is sent specifically to the motor vehicle. In other words, the message is directed to the motor vehicle. For this purpose, a suitable standard is used, for example a WLAN standard or a mobile radio standard, such as 3G, UMTS or 5G. In particular, the message is transmitted to the motor vehicle by means of a C2C ("car to car)" or a C2X standard. In a further alternative, the external location is a component of an infrastructure, and the message is created by the infrastructure, by means of which, for example, the wrong-way driver was detected. In a further alternative, the message is generated by the motor vehicle itself, in particular by means of a further assistance system. By means of this, in particular the wrong-way driver, i.e. the road user, is detected. For this purpose, a suitable sensor is expediently used, for example a radar sensor or a camera. Alternatively, the detection takes place by evaluating a corresponding message which is transmitted to the motor vehicle and which, for example, meets a WLAN, mobile radio, C2C or C2X standard. On the basis of the detected road user and the likewise detected direction of movement thereof, it is checked by means of comparison of road data and / or navigation data stored in the further assistance system or queried by the latter whether the latter is moved in or counter to the respective direction of travel for which the road section is provided. In particular, it is checked here whether the movement counter to the direction of travel has taken place for a specific period of time. If this is the case, the message relating to the wrong-way driver is output by means of the further assistance system, said message being received by the assistance system. Thus, the message concerning the wrong-way driver is created by the motor vehicle itself. In a further step, the position of the wrong-way driver transmitted with the message is compared with a current position. In other words, it is checked whether the two positions meet a specific condition. If this is the case, the comparison is particularly positive. The current position corresponds to the position at which the motor vehicle is currently located. During the comparison, it is thus checked whether the wrong-way driver is located in the environment of the motor vehicle and also whether the distance is less than a specific limit value. Furthermore, it is expediently checked whether the motor vehicle and the wrong-way driver are located on the same road section / route section, that is to say in particular on the same road. This thus corresponds to a component of the condition. It is also checked in particular whether the wrong-way driver is located in front of the motor vehicle in the direction of travel of the motor vehicle, i.e. whether a meeting with the wrong-way driver will take place, for example within a time interval which is, for example, 10 minutes, 5 minutes or 1 minute. In summary, it is checked whether the wrong-way driver represents a risk for the motor vehicle, since a meeting will take place within the time interval.Depending on the comparison, a recommendation for adapting a driving parameter is projected for the driver by means of the projector into a region lying in front of the motor vehicle. In other words, the projection takes place when the transmitted position of the wrong-way driver and the current position are located apart less than the limit value and / or the motor vehicle and the wrong-way driver are located on the same road section and are moved towards one another. In other words, the projection takes place when the comparison is positive and consequently the wrong-way driver represents a risk for the motor vehicle. The area lying in front of the motor vehicle represents in particular a ground and consequently a part of the road / road section along which the motor vehicle is moved. In particular, the recommendation is projected onto the same lane on which the motor vehicle is moved. A recommendation for adapting the driving parameter is thus output by means of the projector, so that it is visible to the driver of the motor vehicle, which is why the latter can modify the driving parameter in accordance with the recommendation. In this case, it is not necessary for the driver of the motor vehicle to turn the gaze from the region lying in front of the motor vehicle, that is to say the region in which the wrong-way driver could appear. Safety is thus increased. Since the recommendation for adapting the driving parameter is visually displayed to the driver, it is apparent to the driver how the driving parameter is to be adapted. Thus, even in an anxiety and / or panic state due to the wrong-way driver, the driver is not overreeded of how to adjust his driving style. If the driver follows the recommendation for adapting the driving parameter, i.e. adapts the driving parameter according to the recommendation, there are consequences of a collision with the wrong-way driver and / or the probability of a collision with the wrong-way driver is reduced. In other words, possible damage is reduced and consequently also a probability of injury to the driver of the motor vehicle. Safety is thus increased. For example, the recommendation is always projected into the same area in front of the motor vehicle. If a further road user or an object is present in this area, the projection is omitted, for example. Alternatively, the recommendation is projected onto the object. Particularly preferably, the region into which the recommendation is projected is adapted, so that it is always projected substantially onto a planar surface, i.e. in particular onto the road. For example, the distance of the region from the motor vehicle is constant. In an alternative to this, the distance and / or other parameters of the region is adapted to a current speed of the motor vehicle or other environmental conditions and / or a state of the motor vehicle. For example, the recommendation is projected into the area by means of the projector until the driver deactivates the assistance system or at least this function. In a further alternative, the projection is ended, for example, when a specific period of time has elapsed after the message has been received, for example 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 20 minutes. Alternatively or in combination, the projection is ended when the motor vehicle has reached the transmitted position of the wrong-way driver or has passed the latter. In other words, the projection of the recommendation is ended if the comparison of the transmitted position with the now current position is negative. In a further alternative, for example, the message is received substantially continuously, for example every 30 seconds, every 60 seconds or every 2 minutes. As long as the message is continuously received, the recommendation is projected. Then, when receiving the message ceases, the projecting of the recommendation is also ended, for example substantially immediately or after 5 minutes, 2 minutes or 1 minute, for example. Alternatively or in combination therewith, for example, the projection of the recommendation is ended when a message is received that the wrong-way driver is no longer present. For example, a speed is used as the driving parameter. In other words, a recommendation for adapting the speed is thus used by means of the projector. In this case, for example, a specific speed is specified, which therefore at least partially comprises a number. In other words, a quantitative indication of the driving parameter takes place. In an alternative to this, the (recommended) speed is qualitatively specified and thus, for example, it is projected that the motor vehicle is to be moved more quickly or more slowly. When the driver follows the recommendation, the motor vehicle is moved at a comparatively safe speed. Thus, the consequences of a possible collision are reduced or the collision is completely avoidable. For example, the recommendation for the adaptation of the speed is projected as long as the comparison is positive, i.e. in particular the complete time that the projection takes place. Alternatively, the projection takes place until the actual speed of the motor vehicle corresponds to the speed that is projected, i.e. in particular as soon as the actual speed is less than a specific threshold value. The predetermined / recommended / projected speed is suitably the threshold value. The recommended speed, i.e. the projected speed, is constant or dependent on the current actual speed and / or further parameters, for example the type of route section, i.e. in particular the road along which the motor vehicle is moved.Alternatively or particularly preferably in combination therewith, a driving lane is used as driving parameter. This is effected in particular when the road section along which the motor vehicle is moved has a plurality of lanes which are provided to be traveled in the same direction of travel. The projection is effected, for example, only when the motor vehicle is not already in the lane which corresponds to the recommendation. In other words, the projection of the recommendation of the driving lane is ended when the motor vehicle has reached the recommended driving lane. Alternatively, in this case, too, the lane is output by means of the projection, namely lane on which the motor vehicle is (currently) moved. Thus, the driver is prevented from changing lanes. The recommended lane is in particular an outer lane of the multi-lane route section / road section. If a right-hand driving situation prevails, the recommended driving lane corresponds in particular to the extreme right-hand driving lane. In contrast, in the case of a left-hand driving instruction, the recommended driving lane is expediently the leftmost driving lane. Thus, if the wrong-way driver unintentionally moves in the opposite direction to the direction of travel and also stops at the respectively prevailing travel situation, a collision is avoided. The recommendation of the driving lane is preferably output by means of an arrow and / or a plurality of arrows which point to the recommended driving lane, that is to say, for example, to the left or right. In particular, an alternating lighting, i.e. a flashing, of the arrows is used here, so that the driver becomes aware of this. For example, the recommendation is always created and thus projected if the comparison is positive. Particularly preferably, however, a further road user is detected and the recommendation is created as a function thereof. The further road user is detected, for example, by means of a corresponding sensor of the motor vehicle itself. The sensor comprises, for example, a camera and / or a radar sensor. In an alternative to this, the further road user is detected on the basis of a message which is sent by the further road user or by an infrastructure to the motor vehicle. In summary, the recommendation is also matched to the further road user, which increases safety. Thus, for example, if the driving lane is used as driving parameter, the creation of the recommendation is prevented, i.e. it is not created if the further road user is located in the recommended driving lane directly next to the motor vehicle or directly between the motor vehicle and the recommended driving lane. In the event of a change in the driving lane, the motor vehicle would thus collide with the further road user. In this case, since the recommendation is not issued, security is further enhanced.Particularly preferably, a distance from the further road user is used as driving parameter, wherein the further road user is located in front of the motor vehicle, in particular in the direction of travel. In other words, it is therefore recommended to change the distance to the further road user and to set this to a specific value, for example. For example, the recommended distance is quantitatively outputted, thus including a certain number. Particularly preferably, however, the recommended distance is projected qualitatively, i.e. the recommendation to increase or decrease the distance. For this purpose, an arrow is used in particular, which points to the further road user or away from the latter. On the basis of the recommendation, it is thus possible for the driver to set the distance to the further road user to a value, namely the recommended distance, at which the probability of a collision with the wrong-way driver is reduced. For example, the recommendation comprising the distance is projected until the comparison is negative, i.e. the current position of the motor vehicle with the position of the wrong-way driver no longer satisfies the specific condition. Particularly preferably, however, the projection is already ended when the distance substantially corresponds to the recommended distance, wherein, for example, a deviation of 10 m, 5 m or 2 m prevails. Thus, the driver of the motor vehicle is not excessively distracted. The recommended distance is, for example, always constant or particularly preferably dependent on a current situation, in particular the current speed of the motor vehicle. In a further alternative, the recommendation is created as a function of a driving maneuver. In particular, the recommendation comprising the one or more driving parameters is only projected here when the driving maneuver has been detected, i.e. in particular the beginning of a driving maneuver. For example, the start of the driving maneuver is detected directly, or measures preparatory to this are detected. In particular, an overtaking maneuver is used as driving maneuver, and the recommendation is projected, for example, when a distance of the motor vehicle from a lateral delimitation of a driving lane is less than a limit value, or when it is traveled over. In other words, the driving maneuver begins in this case. During the passing maneuver, a further road user located in front of the motor vehicle in the direction of travel is to be passed, for which purpose the lane must be changed. Alternatively, the projection of the recommendation is already carried out when the driving maneuver, i.e. the passing maneuver, is predicted. For this purpose, in particular the actuation of a direction indicator is used. In other words, if it has been detected that the passing maneuver is being performed or the driver is about to perform the passing maneuver, the recommendation is output. As a recommendation, in particular a no-passing sign is projected. Alternatively or in combination, a corresponding symbol is projected in the area of an already existing roadway marking, in particular a lateral boundary of the lane, preferably a solid line, so that the driver is prevented from passing.A reaction of the driver to the projection of the recommendation is detected. If the reaction of the driver does not correspond to the recommendation, i.e. the driver does not follow the recommendation, and therefore does not correspondingly adapt the driving parameter, a warning is output. Thus, the driver is alerted to follow the recommendation. The warning is output acoustically, for example, preferably by means of a loudspeaker arranged in a (passenger) interior of the motor vehicle. Alternatively or in combination, the warning is output visually, for example by means of the projector. The projected recommendation is suitably adapted for this purpose. In a further alternative, the warning is output, for example, on a display, which is arranged in the passenger compartment.Particularly preferably, the warning is output haptically. For this purpose, a steering wheel of the motor vehicle is vibrated, for example. In particular, a counterforce is exerted on a steering movement carried out by the driver by means of the steering wheel, in particular a steering system which has the steering wheel. This is effected in particular if the recommendation is created as a function of the driving maneuver, wherein the passing maneuver is expediently used as the driving maneuver. In other words, if the driver of the motor vehicle starts the passing maneuver despite the opposite recommendation, a torque is applied to the steering wheel that counteracts the steering movement of the driver. Thus, the driver is alerted not to start the passing operation. In particular, the torque is comparatively low in this case, so that the driver can nevertheless start the passing maneuver, that is to say can compensate the torque. Thus, for example, in the presence of a further hazardous situation that was not detected by means of the assistance system, it is possible to carry out the passing maneuver. The assistance system is a component of a motor vehicle and has, in particular, a unit for detecting a current position of the motor vehicle or at least one interface for signal-technology coupling to such a unit. Furthermore, the assistance system expediently comprises a unit for detecting a message relating to a wrong-way driver or at least one interface for the latter, wherein in particular the interface also serves for signal-technology coupling with the possible unit for detecting the current position. The interface in this case satisfies, in particular, a bus standard. The assistance system further comprises a projector, which is an LCD projector, for example. The projector expediently has a light source, by means of which a light beam can be produced. Furthermore, the projector preferably has a number of units, by means of which the light beam can be manipulated, such that an image is output by means of the light beam, and wherein the image can be changed by means of manipulation of the light beam. The image is output when the light beam strikes an object. The projector is arranged in such a way that the light beam impinges on a region lying in front of the motor vehicle, which is formed in particular by means of a road. For example, the projector is also used by further assistance systems in this case, which reduces production costs. The assistance system is operated according to a method in which a message relating to a wrong-way driver is received and in which a position of the wrong-way driver transmitted with the message is compared with a current position. For the driver, a recommendation for adapting a driving parameter is projected by means of the projector into the area lying in front of the motor vehicle. Expediently, the assistance system comprises a control unit which is provided and configured to carry out the method. Preferably, the projector and / or one of the possible units is at least partially controlled and / or operated by means of the control unit. The motor vehicle preferably has a number of wheels. By means of the wheels, in particular, contact with an environment, expediently a ground, such as a lane, takes place. The motor vehicle is land-bound and preferably movable independently of rails or the like. For example, the motor vehicle is a passenger car (passenger car) or a commercial vehicle, such as a truck (truck) or bus. In particular, the motor vehicle is suitable, in particular provided and configured, for being moved autonomously, in particular automatically, wherein preferably an automation level up to level 3 is achieved. The motor vehicle comprises an assistance system which comprises a projector. The projector is suitable, in particular provided and configured, for emitting / blending information into an area lying in front of the motor vehicle. For this purpose, a suitable light beam is generated by means of the projector, in particular, by means of which the region is illuminated. The projector is mounted for this purpose on further components of the motor vehicle. The assistance system expediently has a suitable control unit for this purpose. The motor vehicle expediently has a bus system, for example a CAN bus system or a Flexray bus system, by means of which the assistance system is coupled by signal technology to further components of the motor vehicle, in particular to a GPS receiver for ascertaining the current position, a radio receiver for receiving the message, a navigation system and / or a steering system. For example, the motor vehicle has the further assistance system if appropriate. The advantages and developments described in connection with the method are also to be transferred analogously to the assistance system / motor vehicle and to one another and vice versa. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing. Shown therein are: FIG. 1 schematically simplifies a motor vehicle with an assistance system, FIG. 2 shows a method for operating the assistance system, and FIGS. 3-5 each show the motor vehicle moving on a roadway when carrying out the method in different situations.Corresponding parts are provided with the same reference numerals in all figures.FIG. 1 schematically shows, in simplified form, a motor vehicle 2 in the form of a passenger car (passenger car). Motor vehicle 2 has a bus system 4 in the form of a Flexray bus system. Connected to the bus system 4 by signal technology are a unit for determining a current position 6, namely a GPS receiver, and a unit for receiving messages 8. Furthermore, a steering system 10 is connected to the bus system by means of a signal, by means of which a direction of movement of the motor vehicle 2 is adjusted. For this purpose, the steering system 2 has a steering wheel 12 which is provided and configured to be gripped by a user of the motor vehicle 2, namely a driver. Depending on an operation of the steering wheel 12, front wheels 14 of the motor vehicle 2 are adjusted in this case.Furthermore, a sensor 16 in the form of a radar sensor is connected to bus system 4. By means of the sensor 16, it is possible to detect further road users located in a front and lateral region around the motor vehicle 2. The motor vehicle also has an assistance system 18 which comprises a control unit 20 and a projector 22, which are each likewise connected to the bus system 4 and are thus connected to one another by signal technology. By means of the projector 22, it is possible during operation to generate a light beam 24 and thus to project images into an area 26 lying in front of the motor vehicle, also referred to below merely as an area.FIG. 2 illustrates a method 28 for operating the assistance system 18. The method 28 is carried out here when the motor vehicle 2 is moved along a section of a road 30 which is illustrated in FIG. 3 and has two mutually parallel and adjacent lanes 32 which are intended to be traveled in the same direction of travel. The road section illustrated in FIG. 3, also referred to as route section, of the road 30 thus represents, for example, a freeway or the like.In a first step 34, a message 36 relating to a wrong-way driver 38 is received by the assistance system 18. In this example, the wrong-way driver 38 is moving in the same lane 32 as the motor vehicle 2 and is located in front of the latter with respect to the direction of travel of the motor vehicle 2. The message 36 is broadcast from an official office or a radio station and received by the message receiving unit 36. From this, the message 36 is fed into the bus system 4 and subsequently received by the control unit 20. Thus, the message 36 is received by the assistance system 18 via the bus system 4. In this case, the message 36 also contains a position 40 of the wrong-way driver 38. In this example, the position 40 of the wrong-way driver 38 corresponds to the route section illustrated in FIG. 3, i.e. to a plurality of individual points along the road 30, namely a route which is located between two specific points of the road 30, such as, for example, connection points or exits. In its subsequent second operating step 42, a current position 44 of the motor vehicle 2 is queried by the control unit 20 via the bus system 4 at the unit 6 for determining the current position. The current position 44 of the motor vehicle 2 is compared with the position 40 of the wrong-way driver 38. For this purpose, a route section, namely that shown in FIG. 3, is assigned to the current position 44 of the motor vehicle 2 by means of navigation data stored in the control unit 20 or in a navigation system, not shown in detail. This is likewise assigned the position 40 of the wrong-way driver 38. Furthermore, the comparison checks whether the wrong-way driver 38 is located in front of the motor vehicle 2 in the direction of travel of the latter, i.e. whether a collision or at least a counteraction of the wrong-way driver 38 with the motor vehicle 2 would take place within a subsequent time period of 10 minutes or 5 minutes. This is the case in the example shown in FIG. 3.Therefore, a third working step 46 is subsequently carried out. In this, a further road user 48 is detected by means of the sensor 16. In the example shown, the further road user 48 is located in front of the motor vehicle 2 in the direction of travel thereof and on the lane 32 adjacent thereto. In a subsequent fourth working step 50, a recommendation 52 for adapting a driving parameter is created as a function of the comparison of the position 40 of the wrong-way driver 38 with the current position 44 of the motor vehicle 2 and as a function of the further road user 48 and is projected by means of the projector 22 into the region 26 lying in front of the motor vehicle 2, for which a corresponding light beam 24 is created. In the example shown, a lane 54 is used as the driving parameter. In other words, recommendation 52 includes recommended lane 54 which is represented by arrows pointing to respective lane 32. In the example shown, a right-driving bid prevails and the motor vehicle 2 is not moved in the extreme right-hand lane 32. Therefore, the arrows point to the right and the recommended lane 54 corresponds to the rightmost lane 32.Further, recommendation 52 has a recommended speed 56. If the driving lane 32 were changed by the motor vehicle 2 without adapting its speed, the motor vehicle 2 would have too little distance from the further road user 48. Therefore, an adjustment of the speed of the motor vehicle 2 is necessary. In this way, a collision with the motor vehicle 2 changing the lane 32 is also ruled out. In addition, if the speed of the motor vehicle 2 were adapted to the recommended speed 56, the consequences would be attenuated in the event of a collision of the motor vehicle 2 with the wrong-way driver 38.If the motor vehicle 2 is moved at the recommended speed 56 and in the recommended lane 54, the recommendation 52 is no longer output by means of the projector 22, so that the driver of the motor vehicle 2 is not distracted. Method 28 is also repeated until the comparison is negative in second working step 42. Therefore, the output of the recommendation 52 is also ended when the wrong-way driver 38 has passed the motor vehicle 2 and consequently the comparison carried out in the second working step is negative. Method 28 is also ended if a specific time period has elapsed since the message 36 was received, or if this was not sent any further for a specific time period.FIG. 4 shows a different driving situation in which method 28 is likewise carried out. The road 30 and the wrong-way driver 38 are not changed. The further road user 48 is also present again. However, the motor vehicle 2 is moved behind the other road user 48 in the same lane 32 in the direction of travel. The first to fourth operations 34, 42, 46, 50 are performed. Thus, recommendation 52 is projected onto area 26 situated in front of motor vehicle 2 in this case as well. In this example, a recommended distance 58 from the further road user 48 is used as driving parameter. Recommended distance 58 is symbolized by means of a double arrow. In other words, the recommended distance 58 is quantitatively represented. The double arrow is used to point out to the driver of the motor vehicle 2 that the driver is intended to increase the distance from the further road user 48, so that there is sufficient space for both different driving maneuvers. The projection of recommendation 52 is only performed when area 26 is free of further road user 48. In order that this is the case, the region 26 and thus also the recommendation 52 is reduced, so that this can be perceived by the driver of the motor vehicle 2. If the motor vehicle 2 has the recommended distance to the further road user 48 or a greater distance, the recommendation 52 is again not output further. Method 28 is also repeated until the comparison carried out in second operating step 42 is negative, or message 36 is not received further.FIG. 5 shows a further driving situation in which method 28 is likewise carried out. Here, too, the first and second working steps 34, 42 are carried out unchanged. Likewise, in third working step 46, further road user 48 is detected. This is again located in front of the motor vehicle 2 in the direction of travel of the latter. Since the speed of the motor vehicle 2 corresponds to the recommended speed 46 and since the motor vehicle 2 is moving in the recommended lane 54, and since the distance of the motor vehicle 2 from the further road user 48 corresponds to the recommended distance 58 or is greater, no recommendation 52 is initially output. However, the driver of the motor vehicle 2 intends to carry out a driving maneuver 60, namely an overtaking maneuver. For this purpose, the motor vehicle 2 is steered in the direction of the adjacent lane 32 and a corresponding direction indicator 62 is activated. As a function of this driving maneuver 60, recommendation 52 is created and output by means of projector 22. Recommendation 52 here includes an overtaking warning 64 that includes a corresponding traffic sign. Also projected in the region of a roadway marking between the two lanes 32 is a line of the overtaking warning 64, which is intended to prevent the driver of the motor vehicle 2 from carrying out the driving maneuver 60, namely the overtaking maneuver. In addition, a fifth operating step 66 is carried out, in which a reaction 68 of the driver of the motor vehicle 2 is detected. If the response 68 does not correspond to the recommendation 52, a warning 70 is issued. In other words, warning 70 is output if the driver is still carrying out driving maneuver 60, i.e., the passing maneuver, by motor vehicle 2 and lane 32 changes for this purpose. As warning 70, steering wheel 12 is vibrated. In other words, a haptic warning of the driver of the motor vehicle 2 takes place. Alternatively or in combination, a torque is applied to the steering wheel 12 by means of the steering system 10, which torque is directed opposite to the operation of the driver. It is thus necessary for the driver of the motor vehicle 2 to apply an increased torque in order for the motor vehicle 2 to be controlled to the adjacent lane 32 and thus for the passing maneuver to be able to be carried out.The invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. Rather, other variants of the invention can also be derived from this by the person skilled in the art without departing from the subject matter of the invention. In particular, all the individual features described in connection with the exemplary embodiment can also be combined with one another in another manner without departing from the subject matter of the invention.LIST OF REFERENCE CHARACTERS:2 Motor vehicle 4 Bus system 6 Unit for determining a current position 8 Unit for receiving messages 10 Steering system 12 Steering wheel 14 Front wheel 16 Sensor 18 Assistance system 20 Control unit 22 Projector 24 Light beam 26 Region lying in front of the motor vehicle 28 Method 30 Road 32 Lane 34 First working step 36 Message 38 Wrong-way driver 40 Position of the wrong-way driver 42 Second working step 44 Current position 46 Third working step 48 Further road users 50 Fourth working step 52 Recommendation 54 Recommended lane 56 Recommended speed 58 Recommended distance 60 Driving maneuver 62 Direction indicator 64 Passing warning 66 Fifth working step 68 Reaction 70 Warning
