Description

Background of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to a fastening device and, in particular, to an accessory fastening device for a bicycle.

[0002] Taiwanese Utility Model No. TW M 578 667 U discloses a saddle bag intended to be mounted on a bicycle having a saddle unit. The saddle unit includes a saddle for riding and two mounting rods extending below the saddle and spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction. The saddle bag includes two housings and a closure unit. Each housing includes a side wall, a connecting wall extending from a periphery of the side wall toward the other housing, and a projection projecting outwardly from the side wall. The side walls and the connecting walls together define a receiving space. The closure is disposed between the connecting walls to detachably connect the connecting walls. The projections are interposed between the saddle and the two mounting rods and respectively abut against the two mounting rods. This allows the saddlebag to be safely positioned under the saddle.

[0003] Compared to traditional saddlebags with straps, the aforementioned saddlebag features protrusions for rigidly positioning the saddlebag. However, these protrusions are located at the edges of the saddlebag. If the saddlebag is relatively long and therefore protrudes backward, the saddlebag may wobble sideways while riding.

[0004] DE 10 2018 008 392 A1 describes a bracket for attaching a luggage carrying device to a bicycle saddle with two saddle springs arranged at a horizontal distance, with a holding block which can be placed on the saddle springs and clamped to the saddle springs from below by means of a clamping plate.

[0005] In view of the above-mentioned disadvantages of the conventional structure, there is a need for a bicycle accessory attachment device that overcomes these disadvantages. Brief description of the invention

[0006] It is an object of the present invention to provide an accessory attachment device for a bicycle comprising a body and a limit bar unit.

[0007] The problem is solved by the features of the independent claim.

[0008] The limit bar unit includes a first limit bar and a second limit bar. The first limit bar has a first connecting portion, a first limiting portion, and a first extending portion. The first connecting portion is connected to the body. The first extending portion is disposed between the first connecting portion and the first limiting portion. The second limit bar has a second connecting portion, a second limiting portion, and a second extending portion. The second connecting portion is connected to the body. The second extending portion is disposed between the second connecting portion and the second limiting portion. One end of the first extending portion is disposed near the first connecting portion. Another end of the first extending portion extends away from the second limit bar.One end of the second extension portion is adjacent to the second connecting portion. Another end of the second extension portion extends away from the first limit bar.
