Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a set comprising a suction station for emptying a dirt collection container of a vacuum cleaner and a vacuum cleaner according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] The vacuum cleaner in the set includes at least one dirt collection container for collecting dust and dirt particles from a floor surface. The dirt collection container has at least one access opening for introducing the dust and dirt particles into the dirt collection container and at least one discharge opening for removing the dust and dirt particles from the dirt collection container. Furthermore, the vacuum cleaner includes at least one fan for generating a suction air flow, by means of which the dust and dirt particles can be collected and introduced into the dirt collection container.
[0003] The set's extraction station comprises a housing. At least one dirt collection container is located within the housing. This container also serves to collect dust and dirt particles. Furthermore, the extraction station has a suction air duct for directing a suction air flow from at least one intake opening to at least one discharge opening. The dirt collection container of the extraction station is located between the intake opening and the extraction opening in the direction of flow.
[0004] The vacuum cleaner can be coupled to the extraction station to allow the dust and dirt particles collected by the vacuum cleaner to be directed into the extraction station's dirt collection container, thus emptying the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container. For this purpose, the vacuum cleaner can be switched between an uncoupled and a coupled state.
[0005] Numerous sets of the type described above are known from the prior art. These typically feature a suction station with a fan. When the vacuum cleaner is connected, the dirt collection container is vacuumed and emptied using a suction air flow generated by the fan of the suction station.
[0006] DE 10 2019 131 582 A1 also describes a set comprising a vacuum cleaner and a base station. The vacuum cleaner is fluidically connected to the base station. The vacuum cleaner itself has two sub-chambers for collecting dust and dirt particles. These can be pivoted or shifted to direct the dust and dirt particles to the base station.
[0007] There are also known sets where the vacuum cleaner's fan can be used to provide the suction airflow for emptying the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container. To do this, the vacuum cleaner's fan can be removed from the vacuum cleaner and connected to the extraction station. However, the problem with these known sets has proven to be that converting the vacuum cleaner is time-consuming.
[0008] The object of the present application is therefore to provide a set that enables simple and quick emptying of the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner.
[0009] The underlying problem is solved according to the invention by means of a set having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments emerge from the associated subclaims.
[0010] The set according to the invention is characterized by a first connecting element assigned to the suction station for the fluidic connection of the discharge opening of the dirt collecting container of the vacuum cleaner with the suction opening of the suction station and a second connecting element assigned to the suction station for the fluidic connection of the blower of the vacuum cleaner with the discharge opening of the suction channel of the suction station.
[0011] In other words, the first connecting element of the extraction station connects the discharge opening of the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container, which allows the removal of collected dust and dirt particles, to the suction opening of the extraction station. The suction opening is fluidically connected to an outlet opening via a suction air duct.
[0012] The second connecting element of the suction station, on the other hand, connects the fan of the vacuum cleaner with the outlet opening of the suction station.
[0013] In this way, a flow path can be created that is composed as follows: the flow path begins from the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container and initially leads via the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container's discharge opening to the first connecting element. The first connecting element fluidically connects the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container's discharge opening to the suction opening of the extraction station. The suction opening of the extraction station is connected to the discharge opening via the suction air duct, with the suction station's dirt collection container being arranged between the suction opening and the discharge opening. Starting from the discharge opening, the flow path runs to the vacuum cleaner's fan.
[0014] By means of the connecting elements, a fluidic connection can be created between the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner and the vacuum cleaner's blower via the dirt collection container of the extraction station, provided the vacuum cleaner is in the coupled state. At the same time, a direct fluidic connection between the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner and the blower is eliminated. This allows the dust and dirt particles in the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner to be introduced into the dirt collection container of the extraction station via the first connecting element under the influence of the suction air flow generated by the vacuum cleaner's blower.
[0015] When the fan is switched on and the suction air flow is generated, it can be ensured that the suction air flow is used exclusively for emptying the dirt collection container. Since the flow path when emptying the dirt collection container is opposite to the flow path that occurs when collecting dust and dirt particles on the floor, the fluidic separation between the fan and the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container is also useful from this perspective.
[0016] In this way, the suction air flow generated by the vacuum cleaner's fan can be used to direct the dust and dirt particles contained in the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container into the dirt collection container of the extraction station. Advantageously, the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container can be emptied without the need for a fan on the extraction station's side. Rather, the vacuum cleaner's fan can be used in two ways: firstly, to collect dust and dirt particles from a floor surface to be cleaned. Secondly, the fan can also be used to empty the vacuum's own dirt collection container.
[0017] When the vacuum cleaner is in a coupled state, the connecting elements establish a fluidic connection between the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container and the vacuum cleaner's fan via the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container. Furthermore, the connecting elements eliminate a direct fluidic connection between the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container and the fan. In this way, the dust and dirt particles in the vacuum cleaner's dirt collection container can be guided into the vacuum station's dirt collection container via the first connecting element by the suction air flow generated by the vacuum cleaner's fan.
[0018] The use of a single blower for collecting dust and dirt particles from the floor surface as well as for emptying the dirt collection container has proven to be particularly advantageous, particularly with regard to the costs of manufacturing the extraction station.
[0019] Unlike the current state of the art, removing the fan from the vacuum cleaner and inserting it into the extraction station is no longer necessary. Instead, the vacuum cleaner simply needs to be connected to the extraction station using the two connecting elements.
[0020] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the vacuum cleaner has at least one separation element for separating the collected dust and dirt particles from the suction air flow into the dirt collection container, wherein the separation element preferably has an exhaust air filter. The separation element ensures that the dust and dirt particles remain in the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner. The exhaust air filter ensures that the air exiting the vacuum cleaner is free of dust particles, thus preventing air contamination at the location where the vacuum cleaner is used.
[0021] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the set comprises at least one blocking element that can be transferred between at least two operating positions. In a first operating position, the blocking element releases the fluidic connection between the fan and the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner, and in a second operating position, blocks the fluidic connection between the fan and the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner. The blocking element serves to separate the fluidic connection between the fan of the vacuum cleaner and the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner when the vacuum cleaner is coupled to the suction station. This ensures that the suction air flow can be used exclusively for emptying the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner.
[0022] When the vacuum cleaner is coupled, the blocking element is thus in the second operating position, while when the vacuum cleaner is uncoupled, the blocking element is in the first operating position. According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the blocking element can be automatically transferred from the second to the first operating position. The blocking element can preferably be designed in the form of a flap which can be pivoted about an axis of rotation and which is coupled by means of a pre-tensioned return element, for example a spring, so that the blocking element can be automatically transferred into the first operating position, i.e. without manual intervention, when in the second operating position. It can be provided that the flap blocks a fluidic connection between the fan and the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner when in the second operating position.
[0023] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the blocking element can be transferred from the first operating position to the second operating position by means of the second connecting element. Preferably, the second connecting element can have at least one part in the form of an air duct projecting beyond the housing of the extraction station, which can be pressed against the blocking element, in particular the flap, and can thus transfer the blocking element into the second operating position.
[0024] An advantageous embodiment of the invention further provides for the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner to be movable relative to the blower, preferably displaceable along a guide axis by means of a linear guide, so that a connecting region can be formed between the blower and the dirt collection container. The aforementioned embodiment can be provided, in particular, as an alternative to a configuration with a blocking element. In this case, it can be provided, in particular, that the dirt collection container is movable along a longitudinal axis of the vacuum cleaner. The blower of the vacuum cleaner, on the other hand, is preferably not movable. By displacing the dirt collection container, a gap can be formed between the blower and the dirt collection container, which represents the connecting region.
[0025] A particularly advantageous further development of the set according to the invention provides that the second connecting element can be inserted at least partially into the connecting area, wherein the connecting element, when present in the connecting area, closes the access opening of the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner. In the above-described embodiment, the fluidic connection between the fan and the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner is thus severed by means of the second connecting element. At the same time, a fluidic connection is established between the dirt collection container of the suction station and the fan of the vacuum cleaner by means of the second connecting element.
[0026] Preferably, the fan of the vacuum cleaner can be designed to be movable relative to the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner, in particular to be displaceable relative to the dirt collection container. In this case, it can be provided, in particular, that the fan is designed to be movable perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the vacuum cleaner, provided that the fan rests on the dirt collection container in an initial state. In this way, the fluidic connection between the fan and the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner can be easily eliminated.
[0027] A further embodiment of the invention provides that the fan is designed to be displaceable along a guide axis by means of a linear guide. This type of guide has proven particularly advantageous.
[0028] Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous if the second connecting element is designed in the form of an air duct arranged in the housing of the extraction station, wherein the air duct can be fluidically connected to the blower when the blower is in a position displaced relative to the dirt collection container. Preferably, it can be provided that the blower, with a corresponding opening for transmitting the suction air flow, can be pushed onto the housing of the extraction station, wherein the air duct is aligned such that an opening of the air duct opens accordingly. In this way, the blower can be fluidically connected to the air duct in a simple manner.
[0029] An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the first connecting element has a preferably cylindrical receptacle for at least partially receiving the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner. According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner has at least one flap which is rotatable about a pivot axis and closes the discharge opening. The receptacle can serve, on the one hand, to hold the vacuum cleaner at the suction station. On the other hand, the receptacle can be provided to receive the flap when the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner is opened. A further embodiment of the invention provides that the flap protrudes into the first connecting element when in the open position and when the vacuum cleaner is in the coupled state.
[0030] Preferably, the dirt collection container of the extraction station can also be designed in the form of a dust bag. To empty the extraction station, only the dust bag needs to be removed from the extraction station.

Fig. 13 A suction station of the third set according to the invention. Fig. 14 The third set according to the invention in a coupled state of the vacuum cleaner. Fig. 15 How Fig. 14, while the vacuum cleaner is emptied from the suction station.
[0032] A first set 1 according to the invention, comprising a vacuum cleaner 4 and a suction station 2 for emptying a dirt collecting container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4, is shown in the Fig. 1 to 4 shown.
[0033] The vacuum cleaner 4 of set 1 is designed in the form of a cordless stick vacuum cleaner and comprises a dirt collection container 3, a blower 5, a handle 29, a floor nozzle 30 and a suction tube 31 connecting the aforementioned components.
[0034] The dirt collection container 3 is cylindrical and serves to collect dust and dirt particles 8 located on a floor surface to be cleaned. These particles are collected by a suction air flow 6 generated by the fan 5. The suction air flow 6 is guided by the suction pipe 31 from the fan 5 to the floor nozzle 30. The dust and dirt particles 8 contained in the air are then separated from the air by a separation element 18 arranged within the dirt collection container 3 and collect in the dirt collection container 3. The dirt collection container 3 also has an exhaust air filter 19 for cleaning the air before it leaves the vacuum cleaner 4.
[0035] The dirt collection container 3 has an access opening 7, which is fluidically connected to the fan 5. Furthermore, the dirt collection container 3 has a discharge opening 9 for emptying the dirt collection container 3. The discharge opening 9 can be closed by means of a flap 27 pivoted about a pivot axis 26.
[0036] Furthermore, the vacuum cleaner 4 has a blocking element 20 which is designed in the form of a flap pre-tensioned by a spring and which can be pivoted about an axis of rotation between a first and a second operating position.
[0037] The suction station 2 has a housing 10, in which a dirt collection container 14 is also arranged. This is designed in the form of a dust bag 28 and can be removed from the housing 10 of the suction station 2 via a cover 32 arranged on an upper side of the housing 10. Furthermore, the suction station 2 has a suction air duct 11 guided in the housing 10 for directed guidance of a suction air flow 6, which extends between an intake opening 12 and an outlet opening 13. The dirt collection container is arranged between the intake opening 12 and the outlet opening 13. In addition, the suction station 2 has two connecting elements 16, 17.
[0038] The connecting elements 16, 17 are each designed in the form of an air duct 24. The first connecting element 16 is designed in the form of an air duct 24 that protrudes beyond an outer side 35 of the housing 10 of the extraction station 2. The second connecting element 17 is designed in the form of an air duct 24, with a first part 33 running within the housing 10, while a second part 34 also protrudes beyond the outer side 35 of the housing 10.
[0039] The vacuum cleaner 4 can be coupled to the suction station 2 for storage or for emptying its dirt collection container 3 and can thus be transferred between an uncoupled state and a coupled state.
[0040] In the uncoupled state of the vacuum cleaner 4, the blocking element 20 is in the first operating position. In this position, a fluidic connection between the fan 5 and the access opening 7 is released and a fluidic connection between the fan 5 and the environment is blocked. An uncoupled state of the vacuum cleaner 4 is in the Fig. 1 shown.
[0041] When transferring the vacuum cleaner 4 into the coupled state, which is in the Fig. 2 to 4, the second connecting element 17 is inserted into a connection area 23 between the blower and the dirt collection container 3. The second connecting element 17 strikes the blocking element 20 and pushes it into the second operating position. In this operating position, the fluidic connection between the blower 5 and the dirt collection container of the vacuum cleaner 4 is eliminated. In return, a fluidic connection is established between the blower 5 and the intake opening 12 of the suction station 2 by means of the second connecting element 17.
[0042] The first connecting element 16 initially serves as a support surface for the dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4, so that the latter can be held in the coupled state at the suction station 2. Furthermore, the first connecting element 16 serves as a receptacle 25 for the flap 27 of the dirt collection container, as shown in the Fig. 4. In addition, the first connecting element 16 establishes a fluidic connection between the discharge opening 9 of the dirt collecting container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 and the suction opening 12 of the suction station 2.
[0043] In the coupled state of the vacuum cleaner 4, the suction air flow 6 generated by the fan 5 of the vacuum cleaner 4 is used to direct the dust and dirt particles 8 contained in the dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 into the dirt collection container 14 of the suction station 2. For this purpose, the fluid connection between the fan 5 and the dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 is removed.
[0044] A flow direction 15 of the suction air flow 6, which is particularly in the Fig. 4, begins in the dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4. From there, the dust and dirt particles 8 are drawn into the dirt collection container 14 of the suction station 2 by the suction air flow 6. The cleaned air is then passed to the blower 5 via the second connecting element 17.
[0045] When the vacuum cleaner 4 is uncoupled from the suction station 2, the second connecting element 17 is removed from the connecting area 23. Due to the preload by the spring, the blocking element 20 automatically moves back to the first operating position, so that the fluidic connection between the fan 5 and the dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 is released again. At the same time, the blocking element 20 closes the connecting area 23 of the vacuum cleaner 4, so that the connecting area 23 between the fan 5 and the dirt collection container 3 is hermetically sealed.
[0046] A second set 1 according to the invention is shown in the Fig. 5 to 10. The vacuum cleaner 4 of set 1 is essentially identical to the one shown in the Fig. 1 to 4. However, one difference is that the dirt collecting container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 is movable relative to the fan 5, as can be seen particularly in the Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 can be seen. The dirt collection container 3 can be moved by means of a linear guide 21 along a guide axis 22, which is aligned parallel to a longitudinal axis 36 of the vacuum cleaner 4, so that the connecting area 23 between the fan 5 and the dirt collection container 3 can be formed.
[0047] The extraction station 2 of set 1 also corresponds to the one in the Fig. 1 to 4, with the difference that the second part of the second connecting element 17 protrudes even further beyond the outer side 35 of the suction station 2. In this way, the second connecting element 17 can be inserted into the connecting area 23 between the fan 5 and the dirt collecting container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4, as shown in particular in the Fig. 8 to 10 can be seen.
[0048] In a coupled state, which is in the Fig. 9 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, the second part 34 of the second connecting element 17 is inserted into the connecting area 23. The second connecting element 17 blocks the fluidic connection between the fan 5 and the dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 by closing the access opening 7 of the dirt collection container 3. In turn, a fluidic connection is created between the fan 5 and the second connecting element 17, which is fluidic connected to the dirt collection container 3 of the suction station 14.
[0049] The flow direction 15 which occurs when emptying the dirt collecting container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 corresponds to that of the Fig. 1 to 4 described flow direction 15.
[0050] A third embodiment of the set 1 according to the invention is shown in the Fig. 11 to 15. The vacuum cleaner 4 of the set 1 is essentially identical to the vacuum cleaner 4 shown in Figures 1 to 4. However, one difference is that the fan 5 of the vacuum cleaner 4 is movable relative to the dirt collecting container 3, as can be seen particularly in the Fig. 11 and Fig. 12. The fan 5 can be moved along a guide axis 22 by means of a linear guide 21, so that the access opening 7 of the dirt collection container 3 can be exposed. The guide axis 22 is aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 36 of the vacuum cleaner 4.
[0051] The extraction station 2 of set 1 also corresponds to the one in the Fig. 1 to 4, with the difference that the second connecting element 17 is arranged only within the housing 10 of the suction station 2, wherein an opening of the second connecting element 17 opens at an upper side of the housing 10.
[0052] In a coupled state of the vacuum cleaner 4, which is in the Fig. 14 and Fig. As shown in Figure 15, the fan 5 is offset relative to the dirt collection container 3. The vacuum cleaner 4 is coupled to the extraction station 2 in such a way that the fan 5 rests on the top of the extraction station 2. In this way, a fluidic connection can be established between the fan 5 and the second connecting element 17. The dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 also rests on the first connecting element 16.
[0053] The flow direction 15 of the dust and dirt particles 8 contained in the dirt collection container 3 of the vacuum cleaner 4 corresponds to that described in connection with the first and second embodiments of the set 1 according to the invention.
