Description

[0001] The invention relates to a brewer, in particular a brewer which uses an air tube connected to the filter set to remove the air from the vessel.

[0002] Preparing tea has always been an important leisure activity in public life and at work. Preparing tea can make people feel better, and drinking it can leave them feeling refreshed. The catechins in tea have a powerful antioxidant and fat-reducing effect and promote metabolism.

[0003] Today's people are busy with work and lead fast-paced lives. Therefore, they need a quick and easy-to-use tea brewing device that assists them in preparing tea and meets their needs. The design of tea brewing utensils is also constantly evolving, as seen in the TW M 620 325 U "Tea Brewer and its Filter Set" (hereinafter referred to as the conventional solution). This conventional solution offers the advantage that the lid and filter screen do not need to be removed when refilling with hot water. It also solves the problem of the hot water not flowing downwards due to surface tension or a slow flow rate. However, it also has the following disadvantages: 1. Its filter set protrudes above the top of the vessel, significantly increasing the brewer's height and making it difficult to store. Furthermore, the filter set is made of stainless steel. When pouring tea, the weight of the filter set combined with the weight of the tea flowing towards the bottle opening creates a problem, placing considerable strain on the user's hands. 2. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the sealing ring sits close to the opening of the vessel. When pouring tea, the sealing ring blocks the flow, preventing the tea from being completely poured out. The area between the sealing ring and the opening of the vessel is slightly raised, allowing dirt to accumulate. 3. The filter mesh is too large. When the tea is poured out, the fine tea residue is also poured out, which detracts from the enjoyment of drinking tea.

[0004] Further examples of known brewers are described in US 2012 / 0 160 107 A1 and in DE 296 02 703 U1.

[0005] The object of the invention is to provide a brewer wherein the lid and the filter set are connected to each other by a connecting piece and an air tube, so that when the lid and the filter set are attached in the mouth section of the vessel, the two ends of the air tube are connected to the interior of the vessel and the ambient air, whereby, when hot water is poured into the vessel and flows through the filter set, the hot water can quickly flow into the liquid storage space of the vessel.

[0006] A further object of the invention is to provide a brewer in which a resting section is provided on the inner wall of the opening section of the vessel, in which the filter assembly can be confined. The lid connected to the filter assembly is located below the opening, so that a water filling chamber is formed between the top of the lid and the opening. When refilling with hot water, the lid and the filter assembly do not need to be removed. Therefore, refilling with hot water is easy.

[0007] According to the invention, a brewer according to claim 1 is provided. Further embodiments of such a brewer are described in the dependent claims.

[0008] The invention provides a brewer comprising a vessel, a filter set, an air tube, a lid set, a carrying handle, and is characterized in that a liquid storage space is formed inside the vessel, its upper end forming an outlet section connected to the liquid storage space, a resting section being provided on the inner wall of the outlet section, the top of the outlet section forming an opening for the inlet and outlet of water; the filter set has filter meshes through which the water can flow and the tea residues are blocked, the filter set forming a central hole through which the air tube is passed, the filter set being inserted from top to bottom into the mouth section and being confined in the resting section; the air tube has an air channel running through both ends, its outer side being provided with an external thread and its underside with a non-circular blocking element, the air tube being passed through the central hole of the filter assembly and screwed together with a connector; The lid assembly comprises a connector and a lid, the connector having a screw hole, one end of the connector being connected to the lid and the other end being screwed through the screw hole to the external thread of the air tube, thereby connecting the lid to the filter assembly, the lid being a round plate and its outer diameter being smaller than the inner diameter of the orifice section; and the carrying handle has a longitudinal section and a handle section, wherein the handle section is connected to the longitudinal section, and wherein the longitudinal section is connected to the lid set; wherein the lid assembly and the filter assembly, which are connected to each other by the air tube and the connecting piece, can be inserted together into the mouth section of the vessel, wherein the filter assembly is confined in the locking section and does not move downwards, wherein an annular gap is formed between the outer circumference of the lid and the inner wall of the mouth section, wherein a water filling chamber is formed between the end face of the lid and the opening, and wherein the air tube is connected to the liquid storage chamber of the vessel.

[0009] The water filling chamber between the lid and the opening allows hot water to be poured directly onto the lid during refilling, without removing the lid. The hot water flows along the lid into the annular gap. Air in the liquid reservoir can be vented through the air tube, allowing the hot water to flow quickly into the reservoir. Because the lid and filter assembly are located within the opening and do not protrude from the vessel, the brewer is not too tall and has a light, airy head.

[0010] The invention is described in detail below with reference to preferred embodiments and the drawing. The drawing shows: Fig. 1 an exploded view of the brewer according to the invention, Fig. 2 a partial exploded view according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 a perspective drawing according to Fig. 1, Fig. 4 a sectional view of the brewer according to the invention, Fig. 5 a sectional view of the brewer according to the invention, wherein the carrying handle is connected to the lid, Fig. 6 a sectional view of a further embodiment of the connecting piece of the brewer according to the invention, Fig. 7 a sectional view of the third embodiment of the connecting piece of the brewer according to the invention, Fig. 8 a sectional view of the brewer according to the invention, wherein the carrying handle is connected to the top of the lid and Fig. 9 a sectional view of a further embodiment of the vessel of the brewer according to the invention.

[0011] As in Fig. 1 to Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the brewer 200 of the first embodiment of the invention comprises a vessel 60, a filter set 30, an air tube 40, a lid set 100 and a carrying handle 70.

[0012] Inside the vessel 60, a liquid storage chamber 61 is formed. Its upper end forms an opening section 62, which is connected to the liquid storage chamber 61. A locking section 64 is provided on the inner wall of the opening section 62. In this embodiment, the locking section 64 is an annular groove. The top of the opening section 62 forms an opening 63 for the inlet and outlet of water. A handle 65 is provided on the side of the vessel 60 to facilitate handling by the user. The vessel 60 can be made of materials such as plastic, ceramic, glass, or stainless steel.

[0013] The filter assembly 30 comprises, from top to bottom, a coil ring 314, an upper mounting disc 31, a sieve 32, and a lower mounting disc 33. The upper mounting disc 31, the sieve 32, and the lower mounting disc 33 have concentric central holes 315, 323, and 332, respectively. The upper mounting disc 31 and the lower mounting disc 33 each have several water flow zones 311 and 333 penetrating from above and below. The outer edge of the upper mounting disc 31 forms a raised annular flange 312. The annular flange 312 is provided with fine holes 313 arranged at intervals. The coil ring 314 penetrates these fine holes 313, thus connecting the coil ring 314 and the upper mounting disc 31 to each other. The coil ring 314 surrounds the outer circumference of the upper mounting disc 31. The coil ring 314 can also be connected to the lower mounting disc 33 as required. The sieve 32 consists of longitudinally and transversely crossed stainless steel wires forming countless fine filter meshes 321, which can be deformed by force. An upwardly curved annular rim 322 is formed on the outer circumference, which can rest against the coil ring 314. A non-circular detent recess 331 is formed around the central hole 332 on the underside of the lower mounting disc 33. The detent recess 331 can be rectangular or hexagonal. The outer diameters of the upper mounting disc 31 and the lower mounting disc 33 are equal to and smaller than that of the sieve 32. The outer diameters of the upper mounting disc 31 and the lower mounting disc 33 are smaller than the inner diameter of the opening section 62.The outer diameters of the coil ring 314 and the sieve 32 of the filter set 30 are larger than the inner diameter of the orifice section 62 and equal to or smaller than that of the locking section 64 (ring groove) of the orifice section 62.

[0014] The air tube 40 has an air channel 41 running through both ends. Its outer surface is provided with an external thread 43. Its underside is fitted with a non-circular locking element 42. The locking element 42 can be rectangular or hexagonal. It is inserted from bottom to top through the central holes 315, 323, 332 of the filter assembly 30 and screwed to a connector 90. The locking element 42 engages in the locking recess 331 on the underside of the lower mounting disc 33. When the connector 90 is screwed to the air tube 40, the air tube 40 cannot rotate. The air tube 40 can be made of materials such as plastic or stainless steel. The air tube 40 can be welded to the lower mounting disc 33 or formed as a single piece.

[0015] The lid set 100 comprises a connector 90 and a lid 80. The connector 90 is made of flexible and elastic material, including stainless steel sheet or a plastic disc. It has a subsection 91. The two ends of the subsection 91 are each connected to an upwardly folded side section 92. The upper ends of the side sections 92 are each connected to an outwardly folded rim section 93. The angle between each side section 92 and the subsection 91 is greater than 90 degrees. A through-hole 95 is provided in the center of the subsection 91. Each rim section 93 has a through-hole 94. The two rim sections 93 are connected to the lid 80. Its screw hole 95 is screwed into the external thread 43 of the air tube 40.The subsection 91 of the connecting piece 90 and the blocking section 42 of the air tube 40 are pressed against each other, thus connecting the connecting piece 90 and the filter assembly 30. The cover 80 is a round plate. The center 81 of the top of the cover is higher than the outer circumference 82 of the cover. A curve is formed between the center 81 of the top of the cover and the outer circumference 82 of the cover. Two pins 83 are formed on its inner side, extending downwards. Each pin 83 has a locking groove 831 of the same height. The outer diameter of the cover 80 is smaller than the inner diameter of the opening section 62. After the cover 80 is inserted into the opening section 62, an annular gap 811 is formed between the cover 80 and the inner wall of the opening section 62. The cover 80 and the connecting piece 90 can be connected to each other. The two side sections 92 of the connector 90 extend outwards. A force is applied to the two side sections 92 so that they are perpendicular to the subsection 91. The pins 83 are then guided through the through holes 94 in the two folded edge sections 93. The two side sections 92 are then released. Due to the elastic force of the two side sections 92, the perforated walls of the through holes 94 of the folded edge sections 93 snap into the locking grooves 831, thus connecting the cover 80 and the connector 90. The cover 80, the connector 90, the air tube 40, and the filter assembly 30 are therefore connected. A gap exists between the cover 80 and the filter assembly 30 due to the height of the side sections 92. The cover 80 can be made of materials such as plastic, ceramic, glass, or stainless steel.

[0016] The carrying handle 70 has a longitudinal section 71 and a handle section 72. In this embodiment, the longitudinal section 71 is integrally connected to one of the folding edge sections 93 of the connecting piece 90. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the longitudinal section 71 of the carrying handle 70 is also connected to the rim 82 of the cover 80. After the cover 80 has been inserted into the opening section 62, the longitudinal section 71 is located in the opening section 62. The handle section 72 rests on the wall of the opening 63 and extends outwards. The carrying handle 70 can be made of materials such as plastic or stainless steel.

[0017] The components and assembly of the brewer 200 of the preferred embodiment of the present invention are described above. Its features are explained below: What's next in Fig. 2 to Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the tea leaves can first be placed in the vessel 60. The user then holds the handle section 72 of the carrying handle 70 to insert the filter set 30 and the lid set 100 into the opening section 62 of the vessel 60. Since the upper retaining washer 31 and the lower retaining washer 33 are smaller than the inner diameter of the opening section 62, they can be inserted without difficulty. The coil ring 314 and the sieve 32 are larger than the inner diameter of the opening section 62, causing the coil ring 314 and the sieve 32 to be compressed and deformed by the inner wall of the opening section 62. Simultaneously, an elastic preload is created. When the coil ring 314 and the sieve 32 of the filter set 30 are pressed downwards towards the detent section 64 (i.e. to the annular groove), they return to their original shape due to their elastic restoring force and are confined in the detent section 64 (i.e. the annular groove).Without external force, the filter assembly 30 and the lid 80 do not move downwards. Conversely, if a force is applied to the handle section 72 to lift the lid 80 and the filter assembly 30 upwards, the coil ring 314 and the sieve 32 are again compressed and deformed by the inner wall of the mouth section 62, allowing them to be easily removed. In this way, the effect of easy operation is achieved.

[0018] What's next in Fig. 2 to Fig. As shown in Figure 4, when the filter assembly 30 and the lid assembly 100 are placed in the opening section 62 of the vessel 60, the lid 80 is located below the opening 63. A water filling chamber 67 is formed between the opening 63 and the lid 80. The air tube 40 is connected to the liquid storage chamber 61 of the vessel 60. The hot water can be poured directly onto the lid 80 during refilling via the water filling chamber 67 between the lid 80 and the opening 63, without removing the lid 80. The hot water flows along the curvature of the lid 80 into the annular gap 811. It then passes through the coil ring 314, the water flow zones 311, 333 of the upper mounting disc 31 and the lower mounting disc 333, and the filter meshes 321 of the sieve 32 into the liquid storage chamber 61 to brew the tea leaves. In this way, the convenience of refilling the hot water is achieved by eliminating the need to remove the lid 80. The filter set 30 and the lid 80 are lightweight and flat, and are positioned within the opening section 62 without protruding from it. The original height of the brewer 200 remains unchanged, thus preventing any issues with excessive stress on the brewer head.

[0019] What's next in Fig. As shown in Figure 4, when the filter set 30 and the lid set 100 are placed in the opening section 62 of the vessel 60, the air tube 40 is connected to the liquid storage chamber 61 of the vessel 60. The air in the liquid storage chamber 61 can be discharged through the air channel 41 of the air tube 40, thus preventing the hot water from flowing into the liquid storage chamber 61 due to surface tension, or from flowing only slowly, so that the tea can be brewed smoothly.

[0020] What's next in Fig. As shown in Figure 4, when the filter set 30 and the lid set 100 are placed in the locking section 64 (ring groove) of the opening section 62 of the vessel 60, the sieve 32 lies transversely in the locking section (ring groove). Due to the fine mesh of the sieve 32, no tea residue can pass through it when pouring the brewed tea. The brewed tea contains no tea residue, which does not impair the enjoyment of drinking tea.

[0021] Fig. Figure 6 shows the second embodiment of the connecting piece 50 of the brewer 200 of the invention. The connecting piece 50 is a tube section. It is formed in one piece at the bottom center of the lid 80 and has a screw hole 51 at its lower end. Several air holes 52 are provided on its upper circumferential side. The screw hole 51 can be screwed onto the external thread 43 of the air tube 40. The connecting piece 50 is connected to the air tube 40. It is pressed against the blocking section 42 at the end of the air tube 40 and is thus connected to the filter assembly 30. The air entering the air channel 41 of the air tube 40 is discharged through the air holes 52 on the upper circumferential side. In this way, the hot water can also flow quickly into the liquid storage chamber 61 to prepare the tea smoothly. In this embodiment, the inside of the cover 80 cannot be provided with two pins 83, as in Fig. 4 shown.

[0022] Fig. Figure 7 shows another embodiment of the design described in the Fig. The connection piece 50 and the cover 80 shown in Figure 6 are shown. The difference is that the cover 80 is provided with a vent hole 84 at the connection point with the connection piece 50, which is connected to the interior of the connection piece 50. No air holes are provided in the upper circumferential side of the connection piece 50. The air entering the air channel 41 of the air piece 40 can be discharged through the vent hole 84 of the cover. In this way, the effect of the hot water being able to flow quickly into the liquid storage chamber 61 can also be achieved.

[0023] Fig. Figure 8 shows a further embodiment of the carrying handle 70 of the invention. The carrying handle 70 also has a longitudinal section 73 and a handle section 74. The longitudinal section 73 is a cylinder and is connected to the outside of the lid 80. The handle section 74 is connected to the longitudinal section 73 and has a spherical shape. In this way, another convenient method for removing the lid 100 and the filter assembly 30 is provided.

[0024] Fig.Figure 9 shows another embodiment of the vessel of the invention. The difference is that the mouth section 62 tapers downwards from the opening 63. The locking section 64 is formed by the inner wall surface with a reduced diameter. When the filter assembly 30 and the lid assembly 100 are inserted into the mouth section 62, the filter assembly 30 is blocked by the locking section 64 (i.e., the inner wall with the reduced diameter) and can no longer be moved downwards. The handle section 72 of the carrying handle 70 rests on the wall of the opening 63. In this way, the same effect as in the previous embodiments can still be achieved.
