Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a motor vehicle.A motor vehicle, such as a passenger car, typically has a plurality of rows of seats, namely at least one front seat row and at least one rear seat row. Larger automobiles, such as vans or minibus or buses, may also have multiple rear seat banks. At least in a passenger car, the view for passengers (male / female / divers) seated in such a rear seat row is greatly impaired forwardly by the seats of the row of seats lying in front. The row of seats lying in front can be the front seat row or a further rear seat row. However, there is a need to also leave passengers who are seated in a seat of a rear seat row participate in the travel situation.DE 20 2011 100 673 A1 discloses a holder for a monitor or a tablet on a headrest of a vehicle seat. From DE 10 2005 048 070 A1 a monitor is known which is arranged on a rear side of a seat so as to be adjustable between at least two positions. The present invention addresses the problem of specifying an improved or at least one other embodiment for a motor vehicle of the aforementioned type, which is distinguished in particular by increased driving comfort for passengers who are seated in a seat of a rear seat row. This problem is solved according to the invention by the subject matter of the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims. The invention is based on the general idea of capturing a vehicle environment in front of the motor vehicle by means of a front camera and playing the capture on a monitor which is arranged in front of a seat of a rear seat row. A passenger sitting on this seat of the rear seat row can see the vehicle environment on the monitor and track the driving situation, so that a similar driving experience is obtained for the passenger as for a driver (male / female / divers) or passenger (male / female / divers) sitting in the first seat row or front seat row. This allows the passenger to experience a clearly improved driving experience and thus increased comfort for driving with the motor vehicle. In particular, the present invention proposes a motor vehicle having a plurality of rows of seats arranged one behind the other and a front camera which generates a video stream of a vehicle environment situated in front of the vehicle. Furthermore, the motor vehicle is equipped with at least one monitor for displaying this or another video stream, which is arranged on a rear side of a seat of one of the rows of seats, which is situated directly in front of another row of seats of the plurality of rows of seats. Furthermore, the motor vehicle is equipped with a control device which is coupled to the front camera and to the respective monitor and which is also configured to drive the respective monitor for displaying the video stream generated by the front camera. The plurality of row of seats of the motor vehicle arranged one behind the other form at least a first row of seats or front row of seats and a second row of seats or rear row of seats. In the case of three or more rows of seats, there are then two or more rear seat rows, which can accordingly form a second row of seats, third row of seats, etc. The monitor can be arranged at the rear side of a seat of the front seat row or at the rear side of a seat of a rear seat row if more than one rear seat rows are provided. In the present context, a "configuration" corresponds to a "configuration" and / or a "device" and / or a "programming", such that the phrase "configured such that" is synonymous with the phrase "configured such that" and / or "configured such that" and / or "programmed such that".According to an advantageous embodiment, the monitor can be rectangular and can be adjusted in a suitable manner, for example by means of a holder, at the rear side of the respective seat between a portrait orientation and a landscape orientation. The controller may now be configured to drive the respective monitor to display the video stream generated by the front camera in portrait format when the monitor is adjusted to the portrait orientation and to drive the respective monitor to display the video stream generated by the front camera in landscape format when the monitor is adjusted to the landscape orientation. In order to be able to distinguish the portrait orientation from the landscape orientation, the monitor can be equipped with an orientation recognition. It is likewise conceivable to equip a holder, by means of which the monitor is fastened to the rear side of the respective seat, with such an orientation recognition. The monitor can then transmit an alignment signal to the control device correlating with the respective alignment, so that the control device can correspondingly condition the video stream generated by the front camera and transmit it in portrait format or in landscape format to the respective monitor for display.According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the motor vehicle can be equipped with at least two such monitors for displaying a video stream, which monitors are arranged on the rear sides of two adjacent seats of the same row of seats. The two monitors can be adjustable on the rear side of the respective seat between a single monitor position, in which the two monitors are comparatively far apart from one another, and a double monitor position, in which the two monitors lie comparatively close to one another or adjoin one another. For example, in the single monitor position, the monitors can be aligned substantially centrally with respect to the respective seat, on the rear side of which they are arranged. In contrast, in the double monitor position, the two monitors are each adjusted in the direction of the adjacent seat, so that they adjoin one another and, as it were, together form a larger monitor with double width compared to the single monitor. The control device can now be configured such that, in the case that the two monitors are each adjusted into the single monitor position, it controls the two monitors separately in each case for displaying the video stream generated by the front camera, so that each monitor displays the entire video stream. In addition, the controller may be configured to, in the event that the two monitors are each adjusted to the double monitor position, drive the two monitors jointly for displaying the video stream generated by the front camera, such that each monitor displays only a part, preferably one half, of the video stream, such that the two parts, in particular the two halves, of the video stream complement one another to form the entire video stream. In other words, in the dual monitor position, the left monitor shows a left part or the left half of the video stream, while the right monitor shows a right part or the right half of the video stream, so that the two monitors arranged next to one another represent, in effect, an enlarged monitor on which the entire video stream is shown. This results in a kind of panoramic effect for the respective passenger, which significantly improves the driving experience. In order to be able to distinguish between the single monitor position and the double monitor position, the respective monitor or the respective holder, with which the respective monitor is mounted on the rear side of the respective seat, can be equipped with a corresponding sensor system. The monitor can then transmit a corresponding signal to the control device, so that the control device can detect whether the respective monitor is in the single monitor position or in the double monitor position. Only when both monitors are in the double monitor position can the desired panoramic effect be realized, so that the control device only divides the video stream to the two monitors for this case.It can also be expediently provided that, in the case where both monitors have the double monitor position, the control device only divides the video stream onto the two monitors if both monitors also have the same orientation, so that both monitors have either the portrait orientation or the landscape orientation in each case. A particularly appealing panoramic effect results when both monitors in the double monitor position each have their landscape orientation.Further important features and advantages of the invention are evident from the dependent claims, from the drawings and from the associated description of the figures with reference to the drawings. It is understood that the features mentioned above and those still to be explained below can be used not only in the respectively specified combination, but also in other combinations or alone, without departing from the scope of the invention. The above-mentioned components of a superordinate unit, such as a device, a device or an arrangement, which are designated separately, can form separate components or components of this unit or can be integral regions or sections of this unit, even if this is illustrated differently in the drawings.Preferred exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and are explained in more detail in the following description, wherein the same reference numerals refer to the same or similar or functionally the same components. They show, in each case schematically, FIG. 1 shows a greatly simplified schematic diagram of a motor vehicle with two monitors, FIG. 2 is an isometric view of the motor vehicle in the region of the two monitors, wherein the two monitors are each adjusted into a portrait orientation and into a single monitor position, FIG. 3 is an isometric view as in FIG. 2, with the two monitors each adjusted to a landscape orientation and to the single monitor position, FIG. 4 is an isometric view as in FIGS. 2 and 3 with the two monitors adjusted to the landscape orientation and to a dual monitor position.According to FIG. 1, a motor vehicle 1 has a plurality of row of seats 3 arranged one behind the other in a vehicle interior 2. In the example of FIG. 1, two rows of seats 3 are provided, which form a front seat row 4 and a rear seat row 5, which is arranged behind the front seat row 4. In the example shown, each row of seats 3 has two vehicle seats 6, which usually have a seat cushion 7 and a backrest 8. In the example of FIG. 1, the two seats 6 of the rear seat row 5 are shown as individual seats. In another embodiment, the seats 6 of the rear seat row 5 can also be the seats 6 of a bench seat. The motor vehicle 1, which may also be referred to as vehicle 1 for short, has a front camera 9 which is arranged at a vehicle front 10, for example at a vehicle front nose or at a windshield, not shown. The front camera 9 is configured to generate a video stream of a vehicle environment 11 located in front of the vehicle 1. This video stream corresponds to a real-time image of the vehicle environment 11. the motor vehicle 1 is also equipped with at least one monitor 12 configured to display a video stream. In the example of FIG. 1, the vehicle 1 has two such monitors 12. In this case, the respective monitor 12 is arranged on a rear side 13 of one of the seats 7 of one of the seat rows 3, wherein these seat rows 3 are located directly in front of another seat row 3 of the seat rows 3 of the vehicle 1. In the example shown in FIG. 1, the two monitors 12 are each arranged on the rear side 13 of one of the seats 7 of the front seat row 4, which is located directly in front of the rear seat row 5. Furthermore, the two monitors 12 are arranged on two directly adjacent seats 7 of the same row of seats 3, here the front row of seats 4.The vehicle 1 is further equipped with a control device 14 which is coupled via corresponding signal lines 15 and 16 on the one hand to the front camera 9 and on the other hand to the two monitors 12 in a signal-transmitting or data-transmitting manner. The control device 14 is configured to control the respective monitor 12 for displaying the video stream generated by the front camera 9. As a result, the image of the vehicle surroundings 11 recorded by the front camera 9 is displayed or imaged on the respective monitor 12.According to FIGS. 2 to 4, the monitors 12 are configured rectangular and are arranged on the rear side 13 of the respective seat 7 such that they are adjustable between a portrait orientation HA shown in FIG. 2 and a landscape orientation QA shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Furthermore, the two monitors 12 are arranged on the rear side 13 of the respective seat 7 in such a way that they can also be adjusted between a single monitor position ES shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 and a double monitor position DS shown in FIG. 4. In the single monitor position ES, the two monitors 12 according to FIGS. 2 and 3 are comparatively far apart from one another. A corresponding distance 17 is indicated in FIGS. 2 and 3 by a double arrow. This distance 17 is recognizable to be greater if both monitors 12 according to FIG. 2 have the portrait orientation HA and correspondingly smaller if both monitors 12 have the landscape orientation QA according to FIG. 3. In contrast, the two monitors 12 are close to one another in the double monitor position DS according to FIG. 4 and can be directly adjacent to one another. In particular, the two monitors 12 can touch each other in the double monitor position DS according to FIG. 4.A corresponding contact point is denoted by 18 in FIG. 4. It is also noteworthy that the two monitors 12 are aligned at the same height in the height direction at least in the double monitor position DS. FIG. 4 shows a dual monitor position DS in which both monitors 12 have their landscape orientation QA. In principle, a double monitor position DS is also conceivable, in which both monitors 12 have their portrait orientation HA.Referring to FIG. 2, the controller 14 may be configured to drive the respective monitor 12 to display the video stream generated by the front camera 9 in portrait orientation when the respective monitor 12 is adjusted to the portrait orientation HA. In other words, the control device 14 adjusts the video stream generated by the front camera 9 to the portrait orientation HA of the respective monitor 12. Referring to FIG. 3, the controller 14 may also be configured to drive the respective monitor 12 to display the video stream generated by the front camera 9 in the landscape orientation when the respective monitor 12 is adjusted to the landscape orientation QA. Here, too, the control device 9 adjusts the image generated by the front camera 9 to the landscape orientation QA of the respective monitor 12. It is clear that it is also possible in principle to adjust one of the two monitors 12 into the portrait orientation HA while at the same time the other monitor 12 is adjusted into the landscape orientation QA.Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the controller 14 may be further configured to, in a case where the two monitors 12 are each adjusted to the single monitor posture ES, separately drive the two monitors 12 to display the video stream generated by the front camera 9, respectively, so that each monitor 12 displays the entire video stream. In other words, both monitors 12 each show the same video stream or the same image separately and in particular the same section of the vehicle environment 11.According to FIG. 4, the control device 14 can also be configured such that, in the case that the two monitors 12 are each adjusted into the double monitor position DS, it controls the two monitors 12 jointly for displaying the video stream generated by the front camera 9, so that each monitor 12 only displays one half of the video stream, such that the two halves of the video stream complement one another to form the entire video stream. In other words, in this case, the two monitors 12 together show the vehicle environment 11. In FIG. 4, it can be seen that the left monitor 12 reproduces a left section of the vehicle environment 11 while the right monitor 12 reproduces a right section of the vehicle environment 11.The control device 14 can expediently be configured such that it only divides the video stream generated by the front camera 9 onto the two monitors 12 when both monitors 12 are adjusted into the double monitor position DS and also each have the landscape orientation QA.References included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
