[0001] The invention relates to a food container and a storage system for food containers. Typically, food in a household is stored in containers. These containers are stored in refrigerators and freezers, food preparation appliances, and storage cabinets. Storage space in kitchens is constantly increasing, and generally, several different food items are stored in various locations.
