Description

The present invention relates to both a vacuum mattress system for a patient, a vacuum mattress for a patient, and a vacuum mattress augmentation for a patient.A wide variety of embodiments of vacuum rats for the fixation and immobilization of patients have already become known from the prior art. It is common to the vacuum mattress known from the prior art that it comprises at least one airtight enveloping body which is filled with a filling material, such as in particular small plastic beads. By sucking out the air present in the enveloping body or by exactly evacuating the enveloping body, the enveloping body can be formed into a support body for immobilizing the patient on account of the evacuation. During the evacuation of the enveloping body, the enveloping body bears against the body contour of the patient to be immobilized, wherein the enveloping body is increasingly hardened and stiffened in shape by the increasing evacuation of the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress. The vacuum mattress known from the prior art has a casing body which has permanently predetermined dimensions. The dimensions of the vacuum mattress must be adapted to the average body dimensions of the patients to be transported. The permanently predetermined dimensions always lead to the problem if the existing body dimensions of the patient to be immobilized and fixed by means of the vacuum mattress deviate significantly from the previously defined standard dimensions. This is the case in particular when the patient to be immobilized has significantly wider body dimensions, as is the case, for example, with adipose patients. In the case of the aforementioned patients with clearly differing body dimensions, there is then the problem that the standard dimensions, in particular in the width, of the vacuum mattress are no longer sufficient to immobilize or fix the aforementioned patient to a suitable or sufficient extent by means of the vacuum mattress. In the prior art, the aforementioned situation is counteracted, if at all, in such a way that a plurality of different vacuum mattress with a wide variety of dimensions are provided, this being possible only to a small extent on account of the limited dimensions within the framework of a hospital transport vehicle. Furthermore, the prior art has the disadvantage that the provision of different vacuum mattresses requires increased costs and increased weight for transporting the different vacuum mattresses. The present invention therefore addresses the problem of creating a vacuum mattress system which can be flexibly adapted to different body dimensions of the patients to be transported without completely different vacuum mattress having to be provided.According to the invention, the object of the present invention is achieved according to a first aspect by a vacuum mattress system for a patient, according to a second aspect by a vacuum mattress for a patient and according to a third aspect by a vacuum mattress widening for a patient. The vacuum mattress system for a patient according to the invention first comprises a vacuum mattress and at least one vacuum mattress enlargement. The vacuum mattress and the at least one vacuum mattress extension each have an airtight enveloping body with a filling material and at least one air inlet and outlet, wherein the vacuum mattress and the at least one vacuum mattress extension have first and second fastening means adapted to one another for interchangeably fastening the at least one vacuum mattress extension to the vacuum mattress, and wherein when the at least one vacuum mattress extension is fastened to the vacuum mattress, the airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress together with the enveloping body of the at least one vacuum mattress extension form a support body for storing and immobilizing the patient. The vacuum mattress system according to the invention for a patient has the advantage that the support body of the vacuum mattress system for storing and immobilizing the patient is formed jointly by the enveloping bodies of the vacuum mattress and by the at least one vacuum mattress extension, wherein the at least one vacuum mattress extension can be attached to the actual vacuum mattress in an exchangeable manner via first and second attachment means adapted to one another. The above-illustrated proportional formation of the support body via the vacuum mattress and the at least one vacuum mattress widening makes it possible according to the invention to flexibly adapt the vacuum mattress system according to the invention or more precisely the size of the support body of the vacuum mattress system according to the invention to the present body dimensions of a patient to be immobilized, by the exchangeability of the vacuum mattress widening. In this regard, the system according to the invention makes it possible, in the case of patients with a customary / average body dimension, to use only the actual vacuum mattress of the vacuum mattress system for immobilizing and forming the supporting body for immobilizing the patient. If the body dimensions of the patient go beyond the average dimensions of a patient, in particular in the case of adipose patients, for example, then the at least one vacuum mattress widening can be fastened to the actual vacuum mattress via the first and second fastening means, whereby the supporting body of the vacuum mattress is widened by the vacuum mattress widening laterally on the two sides of the vacuum mattress, in order to form a wider supporting body or optionally also optionally longer supporting bodies for storing and immobilizing the patient. According to the invention, the supporting body is formed by the at least partially overlapping enveloping bodies of the vacuum mattress and the at least one vacuum mattress enlargement.Due to the above-mentioned multi-part nature of the vacuum mattress system, the support body of the vacuum mattress system according to the invention can be flexibly adapted to different body dimensions of the respective patient to be transported. In a preferred embodiment, the at least one air inlet and outlet of the vacuum mattress and / or of the at least one vacuum mattress widening can furthermore have at least one valve, in particular a nonreturn valve. The provision of a valve in the region of the at least one air inlet and outlet has the advantage that both the vacuum mattress and the vacuum mattress broadening can be evacuated directly via a separate pump device, wherein the valve device is preferably provided in an indivisible and thus indivisible manner on the vacuum mattress and / or the vacuum mattress broadening.Furthermore, it can be provided that at least one first fastening means is connected to at least one side region of the filling body of the vacuum mattress for fastening the at least one vacuum mattress widening via at least one second fastening means on at least one side region of the vacuum mattress for lateral widening of the supporting body.According to the invention, it is provided that the actual supporting body of the vacuum mattress, which is formed by the airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress, is widened or widened laterally on both sides by at least one further airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress widening, wherein the airtight enveloping bodies of the vacuum mattress and of the at least one vacuum mattress widening together form a supporting body for storing and immobilizing the patient.According to the invention, it can be provided that only one vacuum mattress widening is formed, which in the middle region of the airtight enveloping body are, for example, laid flat and filled with filling material only in two side regions, and a single vacuum mattress widening forms widenings on both sides for the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress.Alternatively, it can be provided according to the invention that, for example, two vacuum mattress widenings are provided, each of which has an airtight enveloping body filled with filling material and which are provided on a first and second side of the actual vacuum mattress for widening or widening the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress. It can be provided that at least one first fastening means is formed on each of two opposite side regions of the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress for fastening at least one vacuum mattress widening at each side for widening the support body at each side.It can be provided that the at least one first and second fastening means are selected from at least one element from the group of a rice closure, a push button, a hook and loop closure and / or a plug closure. The above-mentioned first and second fastening means are adapted to each other in such a way that they can be repeatedly separated from each other without tools and also fastened to each other to form a load-bearing connection between the first and second fastening means. Load-bearing in the context of the present invention is to be understood to mean that the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress is connected to the enveloping body of the at least one vacuum mattress extension in order to fasten the two enveloping bodies against one another in a load-bearing manner, in order to form a common supporting body of the vacuum mattress system. In this case, the term "load-bearing" is not to be understood here as meaning that the vacuum mattress widening or the vacuum mattress is intended to be provided for the direct lifting or carrying of the patient. Rather, the vacuum mattress system according to the invention is used for transporting a further transport device, such as a stretcher / rescue cloth, a stretcher, a stretcher, etc.Preferably, it is provided that the first and second fastening means adapted to one another are arranged on a side of the respective enveloping body of the vacuum mattress and / or of the at least one vacuum mattress widening facing away from the patient and are each connected to the enveloping bodies in a load-bearing manner. The arrangement on a side of the enveloping body facing away from the patient has the advantage that, during evacuation of the respective enveloping body in order to form the supporting body of the vacuum mattress system, the provided first and / or second fastening means neither bear against the body of the patient nor press into the body of the patient. It can particularly preferably be provided that the at least one air inlet and outlet of the filling body of the vacuum mattress can be connected in a fluid-tight manner via a connecting device to at least one air inlet and outlet of the at least one vacuum mattress enlargement. The aforementioned embodiment has the advantage that, for example, only one pump can be connected either to the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress or, more precisely, to the respective air inlet and outlet of the vacuum mattress or to the at least one vacuum mattress extension, and, by forming the connecting device, the airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress and also the at least one vacuum mattress extension can be evacuated together and thus form the supporting body for immobilizing the patient. Consequently, a singular air inlet and outlet is formed, via which all the envelope bodies of the vacuum mattress system according to the invention can be simultaneously evacuated. In this case, it can be provided that the connecting device is designed as a quick-action fluid coupling, by means of which a fluidic connection of the at least one air inlet and outlet of the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress and of the at least one air inlet and outlet of the at least one vacuum mattress enlargement can be produced and released again without tools and relatively quickly.Preferably, it can be provided that the system has a plurality of vacuum mattress widenings with different widths. By providing different widths for the vacuum mattress widening, it is possible to adapt the support body of the vacuum mattress system to the most varied body dimensions and body dimensions of the patient to be fixed and immobilized. It can be provided that the filling material for the vacuum mattress and / or the at least one vacuum mattress widening is formed by a plurality of filling bodies, such as, for example, spherical filling bodies, such as, particularly preferably, balls made of a plastic material. Particularly preferably, the filling material can be formed from a multiplicity of expanded plastic granulate spheres or particles.Preferably, the airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress and / or of the at least one vacuum mattress widening can be divided into a plurality of individual air chambers delimited from one another. This allows better structuring of the enveloping body or of the supporting body to the body dimensions of the patient. The above-mentioned subdivision into individual air chambers can also be provided as a multi-chamber variant of the respective airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress and / or of the at least one vacuum mattress widening, wherein the respective airtight enveloping bodies can be subdivided or structured into a plurality of segments. The individual segments or individual air chambers can either be designed to be fluidically separated from one another, wherein each air chamber has to be individually evacuated; alternatively, the individual air chambers can be fluidically connected to one another, so that a plurality of air chambers can be evacuated jointly. It can particularly preferably be provided that the vacuum mattress system according to the invention further comprises a removable liner for linering the head, such as a support pad for the patient's head.It can be provided that a safety belt device is connected to the vacuum mattress and / or the at least one vacuum mattress widening. The safety belt device can be designed to be separable with the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress and / or the vacuum mattress enlargement. The provision of at least one safety strap device has the advantage that the vacuum mattress system according to the invention can furthermore be fixed over the patient's body for immobilizing and supporting the patient via the safety strap devices. The support body can be applied or pressed onto the patient's body by the strap devices, wherein side regions of the support body can be applied onto the body contour. It can be provided here that the safety belt device and / or the underfeed device are interchangeably connected to the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress and / or the at least one vacuum mattress widening.According to the invention, it can preferably be provided that the vacuum mattress comprises a head support region, wherein the airtight enveloping body is divided into at least two chambers and the head support region forms an air chamber delimited with respect to the other support region.According to a second aspect, the present invention relates to a vacuum mattress for a patient, comprising an airtight enveloping body with a filling material, at least one air inlet and outlet and at least one first fastening means for interchangeably fastening at least one vacuum mattress extension to the vacuum mattress, wherein, when the at least one vacuum mattress extension is fastened to the vacuum mattress, the airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress extension and the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress together form a supporting body for storing and immobilizing the patient.According to a third aspect, the present invention relates to a vacuum mattress extension for a patient, which comprises an airtight enveloping body with a filling material, at least one air inlet and outlet and at least one second fastening means for interchangeably fastening the vacuum mattress extension to a vacuum mattress, wherein, when the at least one vacuum mattress extension is fastened to the vacuum mattress, an airtight enveloping body of the vacuum mattress together with the enveloping body of the vacuum mattress extension together form a supporting body for storing and immobilizing the patient. In the following, exemplary embodiments according to the invention are illustrated with reference to the appended figures. The following are shown: FIG. 1A shows a first exemplary embodiment of the vacuum mattress system according to the invention in a bottom view; FIG. 1B shows an alternative embodiment according to the invention of a vacuum mattress widening according to the invention which differs from that of FIG. 1A ; FIG. 2A shows a second exemplary embodiment of a vacuum mattress system according to the invention in plan view; FIG. 2B shows the second exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2A in a bottom view, and FIG. 2C shows the second exemplary embodiment of the vacuum mattress system according to the invention in a perspective view in the evacuated state.FIG. 1A shows a first exemplary embodiment of a vacuum mattress system according to the invention in the non-evacuated state and in a bottom view.In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A, the vacuum mattress system according to the invention comprises a vacuum mattress 1 and two vacuum mattress widenings 3.The vacuum mattress 1 and the two vacuum mattress extensions 3 each have an airtight body 10 and 30, respectively, with a filling material and at least one air inlet and outlet 12 and 32, respectively. The vacuum mattress and the two vacuum mattress widenings have first and second fastening means 14 and 34, respectively, which are adapted to one another and are provided for the replaceable fastening of the vacuum mattress widening 3 to the vacuum mattress 1.
