Abstract

A subrack (10) is provided with a housing (11) surrounding an interior space (20), wherein the housing (11) has an inner surface (12) facing the interior space (20) and an outer surface (13) facing outwards. Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a subrack according to the preamble of claim 1, as well as a control cabinet with this subrack.

[0002] Subracks are known in the prior art. For example, DE 4200836 C1 discloses a housing for installing modular installation devices. Two side walls are connected to one another by means of a rear wall provided with an entry opening. Outward-facing mounting flanges are formed on the front edges of the side walls. Adjustable and fixable mounting brackets with opposing mounting flanges are mounted perpendicular to the rear wall on the facing inner sides of the side walls. A mounting rail for attaching the modular installation devices is attached to the mounting flanges of the mounting brackets. A U-shaped cover covers the open space between the side walls on three sides.

[0003] The invention is based on the object of providing an improved subrack.
