Description of the embodiments The device shown in Figs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 to 22 serves to fasten a band 1 to a top surface 5 of an elongated component 2. The component 2 is shown by way of example as a U-shaped profile. However, the component 2 can also have a different cross-sectional contour. The device comprises a pressure element 4, which is rigidly connected to a handle 3, with which the pressure element 4 can be guided in a direction of movement B over the surface 5 of the component. The band 1 is pressed onto the surface 5 of the component 2 by the pressure element 4. The handle part 3 can assume different angles α to the surface 5 of the component, as shown in Figs. 2 and 3. Figure 1 shows a first embodiment of the invention, in which the tape 1, wound onto a tape roll 6, is applied to the surface 5 of the component 2. For this purpose, the component 2 is fixed in place by means of a fixing element 20 according to the invention. Exemplary embodiments of fixing elements according to the invention are shown in Figures 23, 24, 25, 26 to 27. The handle 3 of the first embodiment shown in Figs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to 7 is an ergonomically shaped, elongated body that forms a hand gripping zone 10 which can be grasped by a user's hand. Using the handle 3, the user can guide the pressure element 4 over the surface 5 of the component 2 in the direction of movement B, i.e., along a direction of extension of the component 2 (see Figs. 2 and 3). A first end of the handle 3 is rigidly connected to the pressure element 4. This first end is preferably arranged in the center of the roller-shaped pressure element 4. The first end of the handle part 3 can form an eye encompassing the pressure element 4 in the center, wherein the inner surfaces of the eye are fixedly connected to the outer surface 7 of the pressure element 4, so that the handle part 3 cannot be rotated independently of the pressure element 4 about the longitudinal axis of the pressure element 4.A second end of the handle part 3, which is the free end of the handle part 3, forms the hand grip zone 10. To prevent the pressure element 4 from tilting when guided over the surface 5, guide elements 9 are provided which are adjustable to the width of the profile 2. The inner surfaces of the guide elements 9 rest in contact with the legs 24 of the component 2 and prevent the pressure element 4 from twisting or tilting. The guide elements 9 hold the longitudinal axis of the pressure element 4 at a right angle to the direction of movement B or to the extension direction of the component 2. The belt roller 6 is held by two retaining elements 11. The retaining elements 11 and the guide elements 9 are formed by a common body, which here is exemplified as an ear-shaped or pear-shaped body. However, the body can also have a circular or polygonal shape. The retaining elements 11 project freely forward in the direction of movement B such that the upper surface of the tape 1, opposite the adhesive-coated underside of the tape 1, is supported on the surface 5 of the component in front of the retaining elements 11 in the direction of movement B (see Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3). The retaining elements 11 include spacer-reducing elements 11' against which the side surfaces of the tape roll 6 abut. The spacer-reducing elements 11' are each arranged in a broad side surface 19 of the body. The spacer-reducing elements 11' have projections 11'' that project inwards from the spacer-reducing elements 11' and act laterally on the tape roll 6. The spacer-reducing elements 11' thus secure the tape roll 6 against lateral tilting and prevent the tape roll from rolling away from the device in the direction of movement B.The tape roll 6 is held by the spacer-reducing elements 11' in such a way that it is not necessary for the user to additionally hold the tape roll 6 with one hand during use of the device. The user can therefore operate the device according to the invention with one hand by simply grasping the handle part 3. The function of the device is explained below: The user first fixes component 2 to a workbench 42 or other suitable mounting surface using a widened fixing element 20. In a further step, the user adheres an end section of the tape 1 to the surface 5 of component 2 and adjusts the distance between the guide elements 9 to the width of component 2. Next, the user positions the tape roll 6 on the surface 5 of component 2 so that the direction of extension of the adhesive tape 1 runs parallel to the direction of extension of the profile 2. The user then places the pressure element 4 onto the tape section adhered to the surface 5 of the drywall profile and, using the handle 3, pushes the pressure element 4 in the direction of movement B until the tape roll 6 is held laterally by the spacer reducing elements 11'.The user then pushes the pressure element 4 in the direction of movement B, whereby the pressure element 4 presses the strip 1 onto the surface 5 in a pressure zone 8 formed by a section of a cylindrical surface 7 of the pressure element 4 (see Fig. 1a). Additionally, a section of the cylindrical surface 48 of the cavity 18 of the guide element 9 forms a further pressure zone 8', which presses the strip 1 towards the surface 5 of the component 1. By guiding the device in the direction of movement B over the strip 1 unwound from the tape roller 6, a torque is exerted on the tape roller 6, causing the strip 1 to unwind section by section from the tape roller 6. The side walls of the tape roller 6 slide along the inner surfaces of the spacer reducing elements 11'. The angle α between the handle part 3 and the surface 5 of the component can vary within an angular range of 45°. In Fig. 2 and Fig.Figure 3 shows two different angular positions as examples. The spacer reducing elements 11' and the guide elements 9 are formed by a common round or non-round, in particular pear- or ear-shaped, body. The spacer reducing elements 11' form a projection 11'' extending from the inner surface of the body, which, in a functional position of the device according to the invention in which the pressure element 4 is guided over the surface 5 of the component 2, bears against the side surfaces of the belt roll 6. In the first embodiment shown in Figs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to 7, the projection 11'' is crescent-shaped. However, the projection 11'' can also have a different shape, for example a circular shape, as shown in Figs. 8, 9, 10 to 11. As shown in Fig. 7, the projection 11'' formed by the distance-reducing element 11' extends from a broad side surface 19 of the body. The distance-reducing element 11' is a spring tongue located in a first opening 13 in the broad side surface 19. The spring tongue is cut out of the broad side surface 19 of the body. Due to the distance-reducing element 11', even belt rollers 6 whose width is less than the distance between the guide elements 9 can be held. When the belt roller 6 is inserted into the opening formed by the distance-reducing elements 11', the distance-reducing elements 11' can be pushed outwards, i.e., in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the component 2, whereby the distance-reducing element 11' partially protrudes from the plane of the broad side surface 19 of the body. The body forming the guide elements 9 and the distance-reducing elements 11' is individually adjustable and arranged on the pressure element 4. The guide elements 9 can be moved into defined detent positions transverse to the direction of movement B. For this purpose, detent openings 15 or detent recesses are arranged in the cylindrical surface 7 of the pressure element 4, into which a detent projection 14 formed by the guide element 9 can engage in a detent position of the guide element 9. The detent openings 15 are arranged side by side along the longitudinal direction A of the pressure element 4 at defined intervals. The detent openings 15 are located on both sides of the first end of the handle part 3, which is rigidly connected to the pressure element 4. Preferably, the same number of detent openings 15 are arranged to the right and left of the handle part 3 along a common line running parallel to the longitudinal axis A of the pressure element 4. A circumferential groove 47 adjoins each detent opening 15. The width of the circumferential groove 47 is less than the width of the detent opening 15 (see Fig. 7). Furthermore, the detent openings 15 on each side of the handle part 3 are connected to each other by a guide groove 44, which runs parallel to the longitudinal axis A of the pressure element 4.To move the guide element 9 from the detent position to an intermediate position, a torque is applied to the guide element 9, causing it to rotate about the longitudinal axis A of the pressure element. This rotation causes the detent projection 14 to move out of the detent opening 15 and into the guide groove 44 (see Fig. 5). The detent projection 14 passes over a shoulder 45 that separates the detent opening 15 from the guide groove 44 (see Fig. 6). In the intermediate position, where the detent projection 14 is engaged in the guide groove 44, the guide element 9 can be moved along the longitudinal axis A of the pressure element 4, thus changing the distance between the guide elements 9. The guide elements 9 are preferably movable independently of one another along the longitudinal axis A of the pressure element 4. The pressure element 4 can be inserted through a second opening 18 located in the broad side surface 19 of the body. The contour of the second opening 18 is adapted to the cross-sectional contour of the pressure element 4. The body forms a cavity adjoining the second opening 18, on the inner wall of which longitudinal ribs 46 are arranged. The ribs 46 are evenly spaced from one another and, when the pressure element 4 is inserted, rest against the outer surface 7 of the pressure element 4. The ribs 46 hold the pressure element 4 centered in the cavity. The detent projection 14 extends radially inwards from a spring tongue 50 formed by the outer surface 48 of the cavity 18. Upon passing over the shoulder 45, the spring tongue 50 is displaced radially outwards. This allows the detent projection 14 to snap radially inwards into the detent opening 15 after passing over the shoulder 45. The body is shown as an example of a hollow body in Figs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 to 16. However, the body can also be manufactured as a solid body. As shown in Figs. 4, 8, 10, 13 and 14, the outer wall 48 surrounding the cavity is supported against the body wall by stabilizing webs 43. These increase the stiffness of the guide element 9. Figures 8, 9, 10, 11 to 12 show a second embodiment of the device according to the invention. As in the first embodiment of the invention, the guide elements 9 and the spacer-reducing elements 11' are formed by a common pear-shaped body. Unlike the first embodiment, the projection 11'' extending from the inner surface of the body is essentially circular. The first end of the handle part 3 is attached centrally to the outer surface 7 of the pressure element 4, the free end of the handle part 3 being an elongated frustoconical body. The base with the larger surface area of the frustoconical handle part 3 is located at the free end of the handle part 3, at which a round cap 49 is arranged. The locking openings 15 are arranged in pairs offset from each other on both sides of the handle part 3, which is located centrally on the pressure element 4, with two locking openings 15 arranged along a line running parallel to the longitudinal axis A of the pressure element 4. Circumferentially extending branch grooves 51 are provided extending from the guide groove 44 and opening into the locking openings 14. In a cross-sectional plane with the locking openings, a non-continuous circumferential groove 47 is arranged in which markings are arranged that contain exemplary information about the width of standard drywall profiles, to which the distance between the guide elements 9 can be adjusted. Fig. 9 shows a side view of the guide element 9 of the second embodiment according to the invention. The detent projection 15 is a pin projecting radially inwards from the spring tongue 50. In Fig. 10, the guide elements 9 are arranged in a detent position, in which the distance between the guide elements is, for example, 75 mm. As can be seen in Fig. 11, the cross-sectional contour of the pressure element 4 is adapted to the cross-sectional contour of the second opening 18. The detent opening 14 is formed by the cylindrical surface 7 of the pressure element 4. A branch groove 51 adjoins each of the detent openings 14 in the circumferential direction and is separated from the detent opening 14 by a shoulder 45. The detent projection must override this shoulder 45 when entering or exiting the detent opening 14. The bottom of the branch grooves 51 and the bottom of the guide groove 44 are preferably arranged in a radial plane that is offset radially outwards relative to the radial plane of the bottom of the detent opening 15. As shown in Fig. 12, the side walls of the belt roller 6 are pressed against the projections 11'' of the spacer reducing elements 11', which are designed as spring tongues. The inner surface of the body of the guide element 9 is slightly spaced away from the side wall of the belt roller 6. Such a deviation in the width of the belt roller 6 from the detent positions defining the distance between the guide elements 9 is compensated for by the projections 11'' extending from the spacer reducing elements 11'. Figures 13, 14, 15 to 16 show a third embodiment of the invention. Unlike the first and second embodiments, the lateral surface 7 of the tubular pressure element 5 forms a flat surface in sections, extending transversely to the direction of movement B. The resulting non-circular cross-sectional contour of the pressure element 4 is adapted to the cross-sectional contour of the second opening 18, so that the pressure element 4 can be connected to the guide elements 9 in a rotationally fixed manner. In the flat surface, the detent openings 15 are arranged side by side at defined distances in the direction transverse to the direction of movement B. The detent openings 15 can be evenly spaced from one another, as shown by way of example in Fig. 13. However, the detent openings can also be spaced unevenly from one another. The outer surface 7 of the pressure element 7 forms a slot 17 extending transversely to the direction of movement B. As shown in Figs. 14 and 15, when the guide elements 9 are mounted on the pressure element 4, a guide rib 16 arranged in the second opening 18 of the broad side surface of the body engages in the slot 17. This connects the guide element 9 to the pressure element 4 in a rotationally fixed manner. Ribs 52 are arranged on the inner wall of the tubular pressure element 4 in the longitudinal direction of the pressure element 4, i.e., in the direction transverse to the direction of movement B. When the guide elements 9 are attached (see Figs. 14, 15 to 16), these ribs 52 bear against an outer wall of a ring 53 arranged in the second opening 18 (see Fig. 15).The cross-sectional contour of the second opening corresponds to the cross-sectional contour of the ring 53, with the wall surrounding the opening 18 being arranged coaxially to the outer surface of the ring 53. The inner wall of the cavity 18 is connected to the outer wall of the ring 53 via the guide web 53 (see Fig. 13 and Fig. 15). As in the first embodiment, ribs 46 are arranged on the inner wall of the cavity 18, bearing against the outer surface 7 of the pressure element 4. Unlike the first and second embodiments, the detent projection 14 extends radially outwards from the spring tongue 50 formed by the outer surface 48 of the cavity 18. This allows the detent projection 14 to engage from radially inwards to radially outwards in the detent openings 15, which, unlike in the first and second embodiments, are not formed as recesses in the outer surface 7 of the pressure element 4, but as openings. The detent projection 14 and the detent openings 15 are essentially square in shape, whereby the detent projection 14, as in the first and second embodiments, can be designed as a round pin that engages in a round detent opening 15. However, the detent projection 14 and the detent openings 15 can each also have a different shape. Figures 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 to 22 show a further embodiment. Instead of two guide elements 9 arranged at variable distances transversely to the direction of movement B, which can be attached to the pressure element 4, the pressure element 4 is designed as a U-shaped body adapted to the U-shaped cross-sectional contour of the drywall profile 2, the legs of which serve as guide elements 9. When the U-shaped handle 3 is placed on the component 2, the guide elements 9 rest against the outside of the legs 24 of the component 2 (see Figure 17a). The U-shaped handle 3 can be guided across the surface 5 of the component 2 in a sliding motion with one hand. The distance between the U-shaped legs essentially corresponds to the width of component 2, i.e., the distance between the U-shaped legs 24 of the U-shaped component 2. The U-shaped web of the U-shaped body forms the pressure element 4, with the underside of the U-shaped web forming the pressure zone 8. The band 1 entering the pressure zone 8 is guided over a radius 12. The radius 12 projects upwards from an edge of the U-shaped web in the direction of movement B. The radius 12 is a bridge connecting the retaining elements 11 to the U-shaped body. The retaining elements 11 form a retaining jaw in which the tape roll 6 is held laterally (see Fig. 18). The retaining elements 11 are firmly connected to the U-shaped body via the rounded section 12, which acts as a bridge. The retaining elements 11, the rounded section 12, and the U-shaped body of the handle part 3 are, by way of example, joined together with a single material. However, the individual components can also be detachably connected, for example, by means of a plug connection. The spacer reducing elements 11' are convexly bent inwards. The arc-shaped spacer reducing elements 11' bear against the side surface of the tape roll 6 at least in the region of the apex of the bend.The free ends of the spacer reducing elements 11' project from the side surfaces of the tape roll 6 and act as guide flanks, facilitating the insertion of the tape roll 6 into the holding jaw, with the side surfaces of the tape roll 6 sliding along the inner surface of the free ends during insertion into the holding jaw. The spacer reducing elements 11' are made of a material that allows them to bend, as illustrated by example in Fig. 18. This allows variations in the width of the tape roll 6 to be compensated for. The two retaining elements 11 can also be formed by tongues running parallel to each other, which, as in the exemplary embodiment, have a substantially rectangular plan view, with the tongues projecting from a section adjoining the curve 12. This section, which forms a U-shaped web, can project obliquely backward toward the hand grip zone. A clearance extends between a lower edge of the retaining elements 11 and a plane running through the contact zone, so that the retaining elements 11 project freely forward in the direction of movement. To apply strips 1 to components 2 of different widths, several devices corresponding to the third embodiment, each having a U-shaped handle body 3, are provided, each with different distances between the U-shaped legs of the handle body 3. A set of such devices of different widths is shown in Figures 20, 21 to 22. The similarly designed devices, which have guide elements 9 spaced at different intervals, are detachably inserted into one another. Profile elements 38, 39 are provided to connect the devices to each other. A plug-in element 38 is provided on the upper side of the U-shaped handle body 3 (see Figures 17 and 17a), which can be inserted into a insertion opening 39 formed by the rounded section 12 (see Figures 21 and 22). The insertion opening 39 can be designed as an elongated slot and extend in a common plane with the top of the handle part 3 (seeFig. 19). The profile elements 38, 39 can also be designed differently. For example, the insertion opening 39 can be arranged in the top of the handle part 3 and the insertion extension 38 can project outwards from the rounded section 12. Figures 23, 24, 25, 26 to 27 show exemplary embodiments of fixing elements 20 according to the invention for the stationary fixing of the components 2. Such stationary fixing of the component 2 is advantageous in order to apply the bands 1 precisely to the upper surface 5 of the components 2. Figure 23 shows a first embodiment of a fixing element 20. The use of the fixing element 20 is also shown by way of example in Figure 1. The fixing element 20 comprises a support body 28, which is arranged essentially centrally on a support plate 23 that can be placed on a flat surface. The support body 28 forms an insertion cavity 31, which opens into an insertion opening 29 located in an end face 30 of the support body 28 opposite the support plate 23. An insertion element 32 can be inserted into the insertion cavity 31. Here, the insertion element 32 is shown as a cuboid shape. The cross-sectional contour of the insertion element 32 is adapted to the cross-sectional contour of the insertion opening 29 or the insertion cavity 31. However, the insertion element 32, as well as the insertion opening 29 or the insertion cavity 31, can also have a different cross-sectional contour. The insertion element has an insertion profile 35, 35' on each of its end faces 33, 33'. The insertion profiles 35, 35' are adapted to insertion holes 34 formed by component 2. In this case, the insertion profile 35, 35' comprises one or two pins that project from the flat end face 33, 33' of the insertion element 32. However, differently designed insertion profiles 35, 35' can also be used. Preferably, the insertion profiles 35, 35' are designed differently so that they can be used for as many different insertion holes of component 2 as possible. If necessary, the insertion element 32 can be removed from the insertion cavity 31, rotated 180°, and reinserted into the insertion cavity 32 with the other end face 33, 33' facing upwards. To fix the fixing element 20 to, for example, a tabletop or other object, a recess 37 is provided in the outer surface 36 of the support body 28. This recess is, for example, slot-shaped. The arm of a clamp 56 engages in the recess 37. However, other fastening means can also be used to fix the fixing element 20. For example, a clamping device can be attached to the support plate 23 itself. A profile 23 is arranged on the upper surface of the support plate 23. This profile comprises several profile ribs 23 arranged parallel to each other and running parallel to a broad edge of the support plate 23. However, a differently designed profile can also be provided, for example, individual studs distributed over the surface of the support plate 23. Figure 24 shows a second embodiment of a fixing element 20 according to the invention. This element comprises a support body 28, also arranged centrally on a support plate 23, but unlike the embodiment shown in Figure 23, it is not cuboid but cylindrical. A magnet 41 is arranged on an end face 30 of the cylindrical support body 28 opposite the support plate 23. The magnet 41 is arranged in a recess 54 in the end face 30. The magnet 41 enables the fixing of a large number of ferromagnetic components 2 without the need for a suitable insertion profile. The support plate 23 has a slot-shaped recess 37 on one of its broad edges, into which, as shown by way of example in Fig. 23, a fastening element 56 can engage to fix the support plate 23 to a flat surface. The support plate 23 can also be used without such a fastening element 56. A further slot 37 can also be arranged on the other broad edge of the support plate 23. A profile 27 is also arranged on the upper surface of the support plate 23, which is designed as parallel ribs, shown by way of example as running perpendicular to the broad side edge of the support plate 23. The ribs can also have a different orientation and / or design. The embodiment of a fixing element 20 according to the invention shown in Fig. 25 corresponds essentially to the embodiment shown in Fig. 24, wherein a suction cup 40 is arranged on the end face 30 of the support body 28. Figures 26 and 27 show a further embodiment of a fixing element 20 according to the invention. The fixing element 20 has two jaws 22, 22' forming a clamping slot 21, which are arranged on a mounting plate 23. Unlike the embodiments described above, however, the jaws 22, 22' are not arranged centrally on the mounting plate 23, but at an end section of the mounting plate 23. The width w of the clamping slot 21, i.e., the horizontal distance between the jaws 22, 22', is selected such that a leg 24 of the component 2 can be inserted at least partially into the clamping slot 21. For example, the width w of the clamping slot 21 can be less than 10 mm. A clamping element 25 is provided with which the leg 24 can be secured in the clamping slot 21. The clamping element 25 is preferably, as can be seen in Figures 26 and 27, a clamping screw that can be actuated by an operating handle 26. The clamping screw 25 interacts with one of the two jaws 22, and can also interact with both jaws 22, 22'. The clamping slot 21 extends horizontally across the entire width b of the support plate 23. In a maximum extension position (see Fig. 27), the actuating handle 26 is arranged at a distance from a broad edge of the support plate 23. The distance l is preferably greater than the width b of the mounting plate 23 and greater than the width w of the clamping slot 21. The operating handle 26 rests on a support plate 55 located in front of the jaw 22, the jaw 22 and the support plate 55 being arranged at a horizontal distance from each other that is greater than the maximum clamping slot width w. The support plate 55 and the jaw 22 are connected to each other via a connecting web. Alternatively, the support plate 55 can be fixed in place, and the jaw 22 can be displaced horizontally relative to the support plate 55 and the other jaw 22. A free section of the mounting plate 23 extending in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction of the clamping slot forms a bearing surface. The length of the bearing surface is selected such that the mounting plate 23, with a leg 24 of the component 2 fixed in the clamping slot 21, can rest on a flat surface without tilting. The surface of the support plate 23 also has a profile 27, the profile ribs being shown by way of example as running perpendicular to the broad side edge of the support plate 23 and extending over the entire width of the support plate 23. Figures 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 to 35 show a fifth embodiment of the invention. The pressure element 4 has circumferentially extending spacer-defining ribs 57 on its outer surface. A flat body forming the guide element 9 and the retaining element 11 can be slid into circumferential recesses 58 formed between the spacer-defining ribs 57. The flat body forms a fork-shaped jaw 59 which, in the slid-on position, engages a circumferential section of the pressure element in the region of one of the circumferential recesses 58. Detent projections 62 are provided to fix the pressure element 4 in the fork-shaped jaw 59.
