[1] Windscreen washer fluid level monitoring device (30) for a rail vehicle, comprising: - a vehicle-side fill level sensor (1a, 1b), which is arranged on or in a washer fluid tank (1) of the rail vehicle, for detecting sensor data (SD), - a data readout unit (32) for reading the sensor data (SD), - a data transmission unit (33) for wirelessly transmitting the sensor data (SD) to a land-based data receiving device.
