Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a household appliance, in particular a household refrigeration appliance such as a refrigerator, a freezer or a freezer chest or a fridge-freezer combination. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] In household appliances, especially in refrigeration appliances such as refrigerators, lighting is typically provided in a storage compartment intended for items such as food or beverages. The lighting's purpose is to illuminate the storage compartment. It is desirable that the lighting be integrated into the appliance in a way that is as space-saving and aesthetically pleasing as possible.
[0003] DE 10 2019 205 875 A1 describes a household appliance with an inner container surrounded by insulating foam. The inner container has an opening at which a backing element is arranged. The backing element is surrounded by insulating foam on its rear side and has an opening for passing a cable through it, as well as a cable fastening device formed on its front side.
[0004] DE 10 2013 224 261 A1 describes an interior light for a household appliance that is inserted into a pocket-shaped recess of an inner container of the household appliance and locked there. The interior light comprises a housing that is locked to the inner container, a circuit board held in the housing by locking hooks and having LEDs arranged thereon, and a transparent cover. The housing has an arcuate, in particular elliptical, surface that serves as a reflector.
[0005] Another interior lighting device for a household appliance with an arcuate reflector surface is described in US 10 203 153 B2.
[0006] EP 2 594 880 A2 discloses a household refrigeration appliance having an inner container with a recess in which a lighting device is arranged. The recess has a first and a second flat surface which extend at an obtuse angle to one another. An LED is arranged as the illuminant in the region of the recess where the first and second surfaces meet. Furthermore, a cover is provided which covers the LED and has a first section which extends substantially parallel to the inner surface of the inner container and a second section which extends at an angle thereto and ends at the first surface. The second section is partially structured in order to scatter the light emitted by the LED. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007] It is one of the objects of the present invention to provide improved solutions for the illumination of a storage compartment of a household appliance.
[0008] This object is achieved according to the invention by a household appliance having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments emerge from the subclaims referring back to the independent claims in conjunction with the description.
[0009] According to the invention, a household appliance, in particular a household refrigeration appliance, comprises an inner container with a plurality of walls which together define an interior space for receiving objects, wherein a recess is formed on an inner surface of one of the walls facing the interior space, said recess having a base with an opening, a backing part arranged on an outer surface of the wall of the inner container with a cable feedthrough opening through which a cable runs, and a light accommodated in the recess for illuminating the interior space, which light is electrically connected to the cable.
[0010] One idea underlying the invention is to provide a backing piece on the outside of the inner container at the bottom of a recess in an inner container in which a light is accommodated. This backing piece facilitates a defined cable feedthrough into the recess formed directly in the inner container. In particular, the backing piece can advantageously seal the opening at the bottom of the recess, e.g., to prevent the penetration of foam insulation of the inner container.
[0011] According to some embodiments, the backing part can have a base plate with a flat, extending contact surface that rests against the outer surface of the wall of the inner container. The base plate can thus rest flatly against the outer surface of the wall of the inner container, resulting in a flat design of the backing part and, at the same time, achieving good sealing. This is particularly advantageous because the recess formed on the inner surface of the inner container represents a raised area on the outer surface of the inner container. Consequently, the flat base plate resting directly against the outer surface creates an extremely space-saving backing part.
[0012] According to some embodiments, the backing part can have a platform section protruding from the contact surface, which projects into the opening in the base and in which the cable feedthrough opening is formed. The platform section is thus at least laterally surrounded by the flat contact surface and, in turn, projects into the opening in the base. Optionally, the platform section can end substantially flush with an inner surface of the base. Likewise optionally, the platform section can abut lateral circumferential sections of the opening. The platform section can thus facilitate the precise mounting of the backing part in a compact design.
[0013] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that spaced-apart cable holding parts for releasably securing the cable are arranged on a first surface of the backing part facing the interior, said cable holding parts protruding from the first surface, wherein the cable feedthrough opening is arranged between the cable holding parts. The cable holding parts can be designed, for example, as hooks facing away from one another. Optionally, the cable holding parts are arranged on the pedestal section. The cable holding parts facilitate a defined holding of the cable during foam encapsulation of the inner container and their handling during an electrical connection to the luminaire.
[0014] According to some embodiments, the backing part can have at least one hook that engages behind the wall of the inner container on its inner surface, wherein the backing part has a rib and / or a recess on an outer surface facing away from the interior space as a grip structure for sliding the backing part during its assembly on the inner container. The backing part can thus be positively fixed to the inner container by means of the hook. This is facilitated by the grip structure facilitating sliding of the backing part parallel to the bottom of the recess in order to engage the hook with the bottom.
[0015] According to some embodiments, the luminaire may have a housing extending in a longitudinal direction, on which an electrical connection of the luminaire is provided. The electrical connection may, in particular, be designed in the form of a plug socket. The electrical connection may be arranged, for example, in an end region or at one end of the housing with respect to the longitudinal direction.
[0016] According to some embodiments, a groove can be formed in the base of the recess, through which the cable is routed between the housing and the base to the connector. This advantageously prevents the cable from being crushed in the tight space within the recess. Conversely, the light can be positioned closer to the base of the recess.
[0017] According to some embodiments, the luminaire may comprise a housing, a lighting device accommodated in the housing for emitting light, and a translucent pane for transmitting the light emitted by the lighting device.
[0018] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that the housing of the luminaire has a longitudinal wall extending in the longitudinal direction with a reflector surface.
[0019] According to some embodiments, the luminaire can have a lighting device extending in the longitudinal direction with a light source which, with respect to a transverse direction, faces the reflector surface in order to emit light in the direction of the reflector surface, and a longitudinally extending translucent disc for transmitting the light emitted by the light source, which is arranged between the lighting device and the reflector surface with respect to the transverse direction. The translucent disc is thus arranged such that only light emitted by the light source, which has passed through the translucent disc, strikes the reflector surface. The translucent disc can be designed as a diffuser for scattering the light emitted by the light source. The diffuser ensures that only scattered light strikes the reflector surface. This prevents the formation of so-called hot spots, i.e., visible light concentrations or visible light contrasts, on the reflector surface. This phenomenon of locally hot surface areas occurs particularly when lamps with point-like or highly directional radiation characteristics are used. The diffuser serves to scatter or distribute light evenly. The diffuser is used to scatter and soften the direct light from a light source. This creates more uniform illumination without harsh shadows or glare. The diffuser for scattering the light emitted by the lamp can, for example, be formed by a translucent disc with light-scattering particles, a light-scattering surface coating and / or light-scattering surface structure, or can be made of a translucent, light-scattering material. The diffuser scatters the light emitted by the light source, preventing visible light concentrations or color contrasts on the illuminated surfaces of the reflector or on any of the walls of the inner container. The translucent disc, or diffuser, can be made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). The translucent disc can comprise a translucent material that allows light emitted by the light source to pass through. Translucent material partially transmits light but is not transparent. It is a type of transmittance in which the light is attenuated or scattered, making objects on the other side unclear. Unlike a transparent material, which allows light to pass through unhindered, and an opaque material, which does not transmit light, a translucent material creates light transmission while still maintaining a certain degree of opacity or opacity.
[0020] The translucent sheet can be made of a translucent or transparent material that allows light emitted by the light source to pass through. A translucent sheet is a sheet or material that transmits light. It allows light to pass from one side to the other, creating a transparent or translucent effect. A translucent sheet is a type of sheet or material that partially transmits light but also scatters or diffuses it. Unlike a transparent sheet, which allows light to pass through unhindered, a translucent sheet creates some opacity or blurriness by scattering or refracting the light. A transparent sheet is a sheet or material that allows light to pass through almost unhindered. It allows a clear view of objects on the other side and creates no or minimal distortion or opacity.
[0021] According to some embodiments, the translucent pane can be designed as a transparent or semi-transparent pane. The transparent pane provides bright illumination through a clear pane, but does not provide privacy, allowing electrical components behind the translucent pane to be visible, nor does it provide uniform, shadow-free illumination. The semi-transparent pane allows light to pass through in a subdued manner, while at the same time exhibiting a certain degree of opacity or opacity. In contrast to a completely transparent pane, which allows light to pass through unhindered, a semi-transparent pane allows a limited passage of light rays. This creates a certain degree of privacy, as the electrical components on the other side of the pane are not fully visible. The translucent pane can have both semi-transparent and transparent areas. The translucent panel can have a transparent or semi-transparent panel as a diffuser to scatter the light emitted by the lamp, ensuring only scattered light hits the reflector surface, enabling uniform illumination without harsh shadows or glare. The light can be diffused by a transparent or semi-transparent panel with light-scattering particles, a light-scattering surface coating, and / or a light-scattering surface structure, or it can be formed from a light-scattering material itself.
[0022] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that the reflector surface has a first reflector region facing the light-transmitting pane with respect to the transverse direction, in which the reflector surface is concavely curved, and a second reflector region facing away from the light-transmitting pane with respect to the transverse direction, in which the reflector surface is convexly curved. Accordingly, the luminaire has a reflector extending along a longitudinal direction with two adjacent reflector regions, of which a first is concavely curved and a second is convexly curved. The first reflector region is immediately adjacent oradjacent to a translucent disc arranged between the reflector surface and a light-emitting luminous device, while the second reflector region is arranged facing away from the translucent disc. The double curvature of the reflector surface achieves a uniform light distribution and advantageously reduces the dimensions of the luminaire in a vertical direction extending transversely to the longitudinal and transverse directions.
[0023] According to some embodiments, the inner container can have two side walls, each extending in a vertical direction and lying opposite one another in a width direction, and a rear wall which extends in the width direction between the side walls and delimits the interior space with respect to a depth direction, wherein the recess is formed in one of the side walls, and wherein the longitudinal direction of the lamp is oriented in the vertical direction, and the second reflector region is located facing the rear wall with respect to the depth direction. Thus, the rear wall of the inner container can advantageously be illuminated. The provision of the first and second reflector regions advantageously facilitates the generation of a light distribution extending close to the corner between the rear wall and the side wall.
[0024] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that the recess is formed in one piece or integrally with the inner container. The recess and any pockets or undercuts formed therein for anchoring the light can preferably be formed integrally or in one piece with the inner container in a deep-drawing process or injection molding process. This avoids additional components for attaching the light and reduces manufacturing costs. Deep drawing, in particular, is a process in which a flat plastic plate, for example made of polystyrene, is drawn into a three-dimensional shape under heat treatment. The plastic plate is placed in a specially shaped die and pressed into the mold with a punch or punch plate. This process enables the production of complex, hollow and detailed plastic parts with high precision.
[0025] According to some embodiments, the housing may have a frame that defines a light exit opening, and the reflector surface is exposed through the light exit opening. This means that the light exit opening is open, i.e., not concealed by a cover. This offers the advantage that no additional installation space needs to be reserved for the cover, resulting in an even more compact luminaire design. Furthermore, the usable volume of the interior is advantageously increased.
[0026] According to some embodiments, the frame may have a strip extending along the longitudinal direction, which delimits the light exit opening in the transverse direction, wherein the translucent pane extends between the strip and an end region of the longitudinal wall located in the region of the strip. Optionally, the lighting device can be positioned in the region of the strip, in particular on one side of an inner surface of the second strip. The strip thus obscures a direct view of the lighting device and prevents glare. This strip is also referred to below as the second strip.
[0027] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that the frame has a first strip extending along the longitudinal direction, which is arranged at a distance from the second strip in the transverse direction and, together with the first strip, delimits the light exit opening with respect to the transverse direction.
[0028] According to some embodiments, it may be provided that the first strip has a flat first end surface.
[0029] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that the first end face continuously continues the reflector surface at one end of the optional second reflector region, and the reflector surface in the first reflector region runs at a distance from the first end face with respect to a vertical direction. The end face of the first strip can, for example, be positioned flush with a region of the inner surface of the inner container surrounding the recess and forms a defined transition from the reflector surface to the inner surface of the inner container.
[0030] According to some embodiments, the second strip may have a second end surface that is elevated relative to the first end surface in the vertical direction. The second end surface may optionally be flat. The second end surface and the inner surface of the second strip are oriented opposite to one another. According to some embodiments, a coating film may be applied to the second end surface, e.g., in the form of a decorative element.
[0031] According to some embodiments, the translucent pane can be inclined relative to the vertical direction or relative to a surface normal to the first end surface. The translucent pane can be inclined, in particular, in the direction of the light exit opening. The inclined orientation of the translucent pane advantageously further reduces the dimensions of the luminaire in the vertical direction.
[0032] According to some embodiments, an optical axis of the illuminant can be arranged perpendicular to the translucent panel. This advantageously increases the luminous efficacy of the luminaire.
[0033] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that the lighting device has a support plate extending in the longitudinal direction, e.g. in the form of a circuit board, on which the light source, e.g. in the form of one or more LEDs, is arranged and electrically contacted. The support plate can, for example, extend parallel to the translucent panel. This allows an even more compact design of the light, in particular with regard to the dimensions in the transverse direction. Independently of this, the support plate can extend at an angle relative to the vertical direction or to the surface normal to the first end surface. This can also reduce the dimensions of the light in the vertical direction.
[0034] According to some embodiments, the luminaire can have a plurality of ribs extending in the transverse direction and in a vertical direction, which are arranged spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction, wherein the ribs each have a receiving slot open in the vertical direction, in which the support plate is received. The ribs can optionally be formed integrally with the housing, in particular with the frame, preferably with its second strip. Alternatively or additionally, the ribs can be formed integrally with the translucent pane. The ribs with the slots provided therein facilitate space-saving arrangement and fixing of the lighting device. In addition, assembly is simplified because the support plate can be inserted into the slots along the vertical direction from the rear of the luminaire.
[0035] According to some embodiments, it can be provided that the translucent pane is formed integrally with the housing. For example, the translucent pane and housing can be manufactured as a single piece using a two-component molding process. For example, the housing and the translucent pane can be manufactured successively using a two-component molding process from a respective plastic material. For example, the translucent pane can be injection-molded first, optionally together with the ribs, in particular from a transparent plastic material. Subsequently, the housing can be injection-molded onto the already manufactured translucent pane and optionally the ribs, preferably from a different plastic material. As already mentioned, the ribs can also be injection-molded together with the housing. The one-piece design of the translucent panel and housing offers the advantage of achieving an extremely compact luminaire design, as no additional mechanical connecting structures are required. It also simplifies handling and installation of the luminaire. The plastic material of the housing can be high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS). The material of the translucent panel can be polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).
[0036] According to some embodiments, the translucent pane can be surrounded by housing material at end regions opposite one another in a vertical direction. The translucent pane can therefore advantageously be fixed at its end regions by the housing material.
[0037] According to some embodiments, the translucent pane can be provided with an engagement profile in at least one of the end regions, which is surrounded by the material of the housing. The engagement profile can be formed, for example, by a step, projections, openings, or the like. This achieves an even more reliable fixation of the translucent pane.
[0038] According to some embodiments, the household appliance can have an insulating panel arranged on an outer side of the inner container facing away from the interior and extending in the region of the recess. The insulating panel can be, for example, a vacuum panel. Optionally, a foam material can also be provided between the insulating panel and the outer surface of the inner container. Irrespective of this, the luminaire described above facilitates the use of an insulating panel due to its compact design when the wall thickness of the household appliance is limited. This can improve the thermal insulation of the household appliance and thus its energy efficiency.
[0039] The features and advantages disclosed herein in connection with one aspect of the invention are also disclosed for the other aspect and vice versa. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0042] In the context of the present disclosure, a "household appliance" can be, in particular, an electrically operated household appliance with a treatment chamber or interior for treating goods. The household appliance can be a household refrigeration appliance, a household freezer, or a combination thereof. The treatment chamber serves to store goods, in particular goods to be cooled. Furthermore, the household appliance can be an oven, a cooking oven, or a dishwasher. The treatment chamber of an oven serves to heat goods, the treatment chamber of an oven serves to cook goods, and the treatment chamber of a dishwasher serves to wash or clean dishes.
[0043] A “household refrigeration appliance” should be understood in particular to be a cabinet-shaped appliance that is usually electrically operated and independently keeps the temperature in its interior low. For this purpose, a refrigerant circuit is provided which is designed to extract heat from the interior by evaporating a refrigerant and to release the heat to the environment by condensing the refrigerant. The refrigerant is circulated in a closed circuit by means of a compressor, which can be housed, for example, in a machine room separate from the interior, and undergoes various changes of state in succession. The gaseous refrigerant is first compressed by the compressor. The compressed refrigerant then condenses in a condenser, releasing heat to the environment. The liquid refrigerant is then expanded through a throttle, for example an expansion valve or a capillary tube.In the downstream evaporator, which is thermally coupled to the interior, the refrigerant evaporates at a low temperature, absorbing heat from the interior. The gaseous refrigerant is drawn back in by the compressor.
[0044] The described process is maintained by the supply of mechanical work via the compressor. The refrigerant absorbs heat at a low temperature level, for example, a cold interior at 0°C to 10°C, and releases it to the environment at a higher temperature level by supplying mechanical work, for example, at a condensing temperature in the condenser in the range of 35°C. Household refrigeration appliances are typically used for the treatment and storage of refrigerated goods, such as food, beverages, medications, and the like. Due to the lower temperature, chemical reactions and biological processes that, for example, render food inedible and medication unusable, proceed more slowly. The typical operating temperatures inside household refrigeration appliances are between 2°C and +8°C for a refrigerator compartment, between -10°C and -18°C for a freezer compartment, and between -2°C and +4°C for a cold storage compartment. The interior is usually thermally insulated to keep the energy required to maintain the difference from the ambient temperature low.
[0045] Fig. 1 shows, purely by way of example, a household appliance 200 in the form of a refrigerator. The invention will be described below by way of example with reference to the Fig. 1, but is not limited thereto. For example, the invention can also be used in other household refrigeration appliances, such as a freezer or chest freezer or a refrigerator-freezer combination, or in household appliances in general.
[0046] As in Fig. 1, the household appliance 200 may comprise a body 202 and a door 203. The body 202 may comprise an inner container 204, which defines an interior space 210 for receiving objects, such as refrigerated goods. The inner container 204 has an inner surface 205a facing the interior space 210 and an opposite outer surface 205b. As shown in Fig. As schematically shown in Figure 2, the inner container 204 can be surrounded by thermal insulation on its outer surface 205b. For example, the outer surface 205b can be surrounded by a foam material 215. Optionally, at least one insulation panel, e.g., in the form of a vacuum panel, can additionally be arranged on the outer side of the inner container 204 defined by the outer surface 205b.
[0047] The inner container 204 comprises several walls 205, which together define the interior space 210. As in Fig. 1, the inner container 204 can have a base 205A and a ceiling 205B opposite it with respect to a vertical direction V, a rear wall 205E extending in the vertical direction V between the base 205A and the ceiling 205B, which delimits the interior 210 with respect to a depth direction T extending transversely to the vertical direction V, and side walls 205C, 205D opposite one another in a transverse direction C, which extend in the depth direction T from the rear wall 205E and in the vertical direction V between the base 205A and the ceiling 205B. The side walls 205C, 205D, the base 205A and the ceiling 205B can together define an access opening 211 with their end regions facing away from the rear wall 205E in the depth direction, through which the interior 210 is accessible.
[0048] The door 203 can be movably mounted on the body 202 between an open position in which it at least partially exposes the access opening 211 and a closed position in which it covers the access opening 211. Fig. 1 shows the door 203 in an open position. For example, the door 203 can be hinged to the body about a pivot axis running along the vertical direction V, so that it can be pivoted between the open and closed positions.
[0049] As in Fig. 1, the household appliance 200 may have a light 100 for illuminating the interior 210. The light 100 may, in particular, be electrically operated. For example, the light 100 may be activated by a control unit (not shown) when the door 203 is moved into the open position.
[0050] The lamp 100 can be accommodated in a recess 206 formed in the inner surface 205a of the inner container 204. In Fig. 1 shows purely by way of example that the recess is formed in the side wall 205C. However, the invention is not limited thereto, but the recess can be formed in any of the walls 205. As shown in Fig. 2, the insulating panel 220 can extend in particular in the region of the recess 206, which forms a bulge on the outer surface 205b of the inner container 204. As shown in Fig. As can be seen in Figure 2, the recess 206 reduces the thickness of the thermal insulation, in particular the foam material 215, which leads to a reduction in the insulating effect. The insulating panel 220 can partially compensate for this effect. However, the insulating panel 220 itself requires a certain amount of installation space. Overall, it is therefore desirable for the recess 206 and the luminaire 100 to require as little installation space as possible.
[0051] Fig. 3 schematically shows a plan view of the inner surface 205a of the inner container 204 in the region of the recess 206. Fig. 9 shows a sectional view of the inner container 204 in the region of the recess 206 with the lamp 100 mounted in the recess 206.
[0052] As in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 9, the recess 206 has a bottom 206A and a peripheral portion 206B. The bottom 206A may be substantially planar. As shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 9, the base 207 may have an opening 207. In the region of the opening 207, a groove 208 may also be formed in the base 206A. The recess 206 may extend along the vertical direction V. In general, the recess 206 may extend elongately, and the opening 207 may be arranged in an end region of the base 206A with respect to the longitudinal extent of the recess 206. The peripheral section 206B extends transversely to the base 206A and connects it to a region of the inner surface 205a of the inner container 204 surrounding the recess 206. The peripheral section 206B may, for example, define a substantially rectangular shape of the recess 206. As shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. As further shown in Figure 9, the peripheral portion 206B may have a plurality of pockets 216 that define undercuts in a direction extending transversely to the inner surface 205a. The pockets 216 serve to receive locking hooks 16 of the lamp 100 in order to fix them in the recess 206, as shown in Fig. 9 is shown purely as an example.
[0053] As mentioned above, the lamp 100 is electrically operated. A cable 240 for supplying the lamp 100, which runs on the outside of the inner container 204, e.g. in the thermal insulation, can be inserted through the opening 207 into the recess 206. As shown in Fig. 3, a backing part 230 can be arranged at the opening 207 on the outer surface 205b of the inner container 204. The backing part 230 is shown in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 shown in detail.
[0054] As in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the backing part 230 may comprise a plate-shaped base body, also referred to as base plate 231, a cable fixing in the form of cable holding parts 232 and a cable feed-through opening 236. As shown in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the backing part 230 can optionally have one or more hooks 234 for fixing the backing part 230 to the inner container 204. Purely by way of example, in Fig. 4 also shows that the backing part can have a plug holder 233 for holding a plug 241 that may be provided at the end of the cable.
[0055] As in Fig. 4, the base plate 231 has a flat contact surface 231a. The base plate 231 may further comprise a platform portion 238, which forms a region protruding from the contact surface 231a. The cable feedthrough opening 236 may optionally be formed in the platform portion 238. As shown in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the cable feedthrough opening 236 can be rectangular, for example.
[0056] The cable holding parts 232 can be formed by hooks, which can be oriented facing away from each other and protrude from the base plate 231 on the front side defined by the contact surface 231a. As in Fig. 4, the cable holding parts 232 can protrude from the platform section 238. For example, two cable holding parts 232 can be provided. The cable holding parts 232 serve to releasably fix the cable 240. For example, the cable 240 guided through the cable feedthrough opening 236 can be wound once around both cable holding parts 232, as shown in Fig. 3 is shown schematically. The cable feedthrough opening 236 can optionally be arranged between the cable holding parts 232.
[0057] As in Fig. 4, two hooks 234 oriented in the same direction may be provided on the front side of the base plate 231, which are positioned on opposite sides of the pedestal section 238.
[0058] The connector holder 233 can also be attached to the front of the base plate 231, e.g. between the pedestal section 238 and one of the hooks 238.
[0059] As in Fig. 5, a rib 237A can be formed on an outer surface 231b of the base plate 231, which orientates opposite to the contact surface 231a, and which protrudes from the outer surface 231b. The rib 237A can be positioned, for example, adjacent to the cable feedthrough opening 236. Alternatively or additionally, a recess 237B can be formed in the outer surface 231b, which can be positioned, for example, in an end region of the base plate 231, as in Fig. 5 shown as an example.
[0060] Fig. 3 shows the backing part 230 mounted on the recess 206 of the inner container 204, in which it covers the opening 207 at the bottom 206A of the recess 206. The contact surface 231a of the base plate 231 rests against the outer surface 205b of the inner container 204, and the pedestal section 238 projects into the opening 207. Since the contact surface 231a is flat and the base plate 231 is plate-shaped overall, a space-saving, flat structure is achieved. The platform section 238 also advantageously ensures lateral centering of the backing part 230 in the opening 207. The hooks 234 can protrude through the opening 207 and an optional adjacent additional opening 207Z and engage behind the bottom 206A of the recess 206 on the inner surface 205a.The optional rib 237A and / or the optional recess 237B on the back of the backing part 230 serve as a grip structure for sliding the backing part 230 when it is mounted to the inner container 204, which simplifies the assembly.
[0061] Fig. 6 shows the luminaire 100 in a perspective view looking at a front or light exit side facing the interior 210 of the inner container 204 when the luminaire 100 is mounted in the recess 206. Fig. 7 shows a sectional view of the luminaire 100. Fig. 8 shows a partial perspective view of the luminaire 100 looking at a rear side of the luminaire 100 facing the bottom 206A of the recess when the luminaire 100 is mounted in the recess 206. Fig. 9 shows a sectional view of the luminaire 100 in a state mounted in the recess 206.
[0062] As in the Fig. As shown by way of example in Figures 6 to 9, the luminaire 100 may comprise a housing 1, a lighting device 2, and a translucent disc in the form of a diffuser 3. The translucent disc is described as diffuser 3 in the exemplary embodiments.
[0063] The housing 1 can extend in a longitudinal direction L1 or have an elongated shape. As shown in the Fig. 6 and Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the housing 1 can have a longitudinal wall 10 and an optional frame 11. Also optionally, the housing 1 can have locking hooks 16 for fixing the lamp 100 in the recess 206.
[0064] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 6, the longitudinal wall 10 extends in the longitudinal direction L1 and has a reflector surface 10a. The longitudinal wall 10 also extends in a transverse direction C1 running transversely to the longitudinal direction L1. A vertical direction H1, which is also referred to below, runs transversely to the longitudinal direction L1 and the transverse direction C1.
[0065] As particularly in Fig. 7, the reflector surface 10a can be curved. In particular, the reflector surface 10a can have a first reflector region 10C, in which the reflector surface 10a is concavely curved, and a second reflector region 10D, in which the reflector surface 10a is convexly curved. The first and second reflector regions 10C, 10D are located directly adjacent to one another or border one another with respect to the transverse direction C1. Optionally, the reflector regions 10C, 10D can extend in the transverse direction C1 to the opposite ends of the longitudinal wall 10. With respect to the longitudinal direction L1, the reflector regions 10C, 10D can extend, in particular, over the entire length of the longitudinal wall 10.
[0066] Optionally, the reflector surface 10a can have a surface structure. For example, the reflector surface 10a can have a surface roughness according to VDI 3400 Ref. 20. This gives the reflector surface 10a a pleasantly matte appearance when exposed to light.
[0067] The frame 11 defines a light exit opening 1A through which the reflector surface 10a reflects light emitted by the lighting device 2. As shown in Fig. 6 by way of example, the frame 11 can, for example, be substantially rectangular. The frame 11 can have a first strip 11A and a second strip 11B, which each extend in the longitudinal direction L1 and are arranged at a distance from one another in the transverse direction C1. Thus, the first and the second strip 11A, 11B each delimit the light exit opening 1A with respect to the transverse direction C1. Optionally, the frame 11 can additionally have a first and a second transverse strip 11C, 11D, which each extend in the transverse direction C1 between the first and the second strip 11A, 11B. The transverse strips 11C, 11D thus delimit the light exit opening 1A with respect to the longitudinal direction L1.
[0068] The first strip 11A has an end surface 11e oriented in the vertical direction H1, which can in particular be flat. As shown in Fig. As further shown in Figure 6, the end surface 11e can extend continuously with the end surfaces 11g, 11h of the transverse strips 11C, 11D. In other words, the end surfaces 11e, 11g, 11h can lie in a plane or define a plane.
[0069] The second strip 11B may have a second end surface 11f, which may, for example, be planar. As shown in Fig. 6 purely by way of example, it can be provided that the second end surface 11f has a greater width with respect to the transverse direction C1 than the first end surface 11e. As shown in Fig. 7, the second end face 11f can be raised relative to the vertical direction H1 relative to the first end face 11e, and thus also relative to the end faces 11g, 11h, e.g., by a height d11, which can be, for example, in a range between 0.3 mm and 1 mm, in particular between 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm. Optionally, a coating film 4 can be applied to the second end face 11f. For example, a film 4 can be laminated, glued, or applied to the second end face 11f using a hot-pressing process. The film can be used to create a visually appealing effect in a simple and inexpensive manner. The optionally raised position of the second end surface 11f compared to the end surfaces 11e, 11g, 11h facilitates the application of the film 4, since an edge of the second strip 11B facing the first strip 11A forms a cutting edge along which the film 4 can be cut cleanly and easily.
[0070] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 7, it can be provided that the first end surface 11e continuously continues the reflector surface 10a. For example, the first end surface 11e can continuously continue the reflector surface 10a at the end of the second reflector region 10D. The second reflector region 10C can be spaced apart from the first end surface 11e with respect to the vertical direction H1 and can be located remote from it with respect to the transverse direction C1. For example, the first reflector region 10C can end in the region of the second strip 11B with respect to the transverse direction C1. With respect to the vertical direction H1, one end of the first reflector region 10C can be located, in particular, on a side of the second strip 11B remote from the second end surface 11f.
[0071] As in the Fig. 6 and Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the reflector surface 10a may be particularly exposed through the light exit opening 1A. This means that preferably no additional cover is provided to cover the light exit opening 1A.
[0072] The locking hooks 16 can be arranged in opposite end regions of the housing 1 with respect to the transverse direction C1. For example, several locking hooks 16 can be arranged distributed along the longitudinal direction L1 in the region of the first strip 11A and in the region of the second strip 11B. As shown in the Fig. 7 and Fig. As shown by way of example in Figure 8, the locking hooks 16 can each have an elastically deformable shaft extending along the vertical direction H1, at the end of which an engagement head is formed. This results in a simple and compact construction of the locking hooks 16. The shafts of the locking hooks 16 can, for example, be connected to the first strip 11A or the second strip 11B, as in Fig. 7 is shown purely as an example. As in Fig. 9, the locking hooks 16 can be locked to the pockets 216 to fix the lamp 100 in the recess 206. The engagement head of a respective locking hook 16 engages in a respective pocket 216. However, the invention is not limited to this. In general, the housing can have locking structures that are designed to lock with complementary engagement structures of the recess 206. The lamp 100 can generally be received in the recess 206 such that the longitudinal direction L1 of the lamp 100 is aligned along the vertical direction V of the household appliance 100. If the recess 206, as shown in the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, is formed in one of the side walls 205C, 205D, the first strip 11 can be located in particular facing the rear wall 205E.
[0073] The lighting device 2 can, in particular, have a carrier plate 20 extending in the longitudinal direction L1, e.g., in the form of a circuit board, on which a light source 21, e.g., in the form of an LED or a plurality of LEDs adjacent or spaced apart along the longitudinal direction L1, is arranged. The light source 21 is oriented toward the reflector surface 10a with respect to the transverse direction C1 in order to emit light in the direction of the reflector surface 10a.
[0074] As in the Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, the lighting device 2 can be arranged on a side of the second strip 11B facing away from the second end surface 11f.
[0075] The lighting device 2 can be attached to the housing 1 or to the diffuser 3. For this purpose, a plurality of ribs 14 extending in the transverse direction C1 and in the vertical direction H1 can be provided, which are arranged spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction L1, as shown in Fig. 8 is shown by way of example. The ribs 14 can protrude in the vertical direction H1 from an inner surface 11i of the second strip 11B, which is oriented opposite to its second end surface 11f. In the transverse direction C1, the ribs 14 can protrude from the diffuser 3. The ribs 14 can be formed integrally or in one piece with the diffuser 3 and / or with the housing 1, in particular the second strip 11B. As shown in Fig. 8, the ribs 14 can each have a receiving slot 15 open in the vertical direction H1, in which the carrier plate 20 is received. As in Fig. 8, an elastic hook 17 may be provided which projects from the inner surface 11i of the second strip 11B and engages around an edge region of the support plate 20 in order to fix it with respect to the vertical direction H1.
[0076] For the electrical supply of the lighting device 2, an electrical connection 5 may be provided, e.g., in the form of a socket into which the plug 241 of the cable 240 can be inserted in order to establish an electrical connection to a voltage source through the cable 240. The electrical connection 5 may, e.g., be provided on the housing 1, e.g., at one end of the housing 1 with respect to the longitudinal direction L1, as shown in Fig. 6 is shown as an example. With respect to the transverse direction C1, the electrical connection 5 can be located in the region of the second strip 11B.
[0077] As in Fig. 9, only a very narrow gap exists between the bottom 206A of the recess 206 and the housing 1 of the lamp 100 when the lamp 100 is accommodated in the recess 206. The groove 208 optionally provided in the bottom 206A of the recess 206 provides additional space in which the cable 240 can be guided between the housing 1 and the bottom 206A, in particular past the longitudinal wall 10, to the connection 5. In Fig. 3, a possible laying of the cable 240 in the groove 208 is shown by the dashed line K.
[0078] The diffuser 3 is formed from a material that is partially transparent to visible light, e.g., a plastic material, and is designed to scatter the light emitted by the illuminant 21. In general, the diffuser 3 extends along the longitudinal direction L1 and can, for example, be designed as a substantially plate-shaped component, as shown in the Fig. 6 to 8. Thus, the diffuser can also have a certain extent in the transverse direction C1 and extend, for example, between end regions 31, 32 which are opposite one another in the vertical direction H1. As shown in particular in Fig. As can be seen in Figure 7, the diffuser 3 can be arranged between the lighting device 2 and the reflector surface 10a with respect to the transverse direction C1. The diffuser 3 thus ensures that only scattered light strikes the reflector surface 10a. This prevents the formation of so-called hot spots on the reflector surface 10a. This phenomenon of locally hot surface areas occurs in particular when illuminants 21 with point-shaped or highly directional radiation characteristics are used. Furthermore, this allows a more uniform light distribution to be achieved even with the light exit opening 1A open.
[0079] The diffuser 3 can extend in particular between the second strip 11B and an end region of the longitudinal wall 10, as shown, for example, in the Fig. 7 and Fig. 8. When the reflector surface 10a, as shown in the Fig. 6 to 9 purely by way of example, is formed with a concavely curved first reflector region 10C and a convexly curved second reflector region 10D, the first reflector region 10C can be located facing the diffuser 3 with respect to the transverse direction C1, and the second reflector region 10D can be located facing away from the diffuser 3 with respect to the transverse direction C1.
[0080] As in Fig. As further shown by way of example in Figure 7, the diffuser 3 can be inclined relative to the vertical direction H1 by an angle a3, in particular in the direction of the light exit opening 1A. Thus, an angle a3 can be formed between a surface normal N to the first end surface 11e and the diffuser 3. The angle a3 can, for example, be in a range between 15 degrees and 25 degrees. The inclined arrangement of the diffuser 3 reduces its space requirement with respect to the vertical direction H1 and thus ensures an even more compact design of the luminaire 100.
[0081] Regardless of the specific orientation of the diffuser 3, it may be advantageous if an optical axis A21 of the illuminant 21 is perpendicular to the diffuser 3, as shown in Fig. 7 is shown purely as an example. Optionally, the carrier plate 20 can extend parallel to the diffuser 3. If the carrier plate 20 as in Fig. 7 is inclined in the same way as the diffuser 3, the space required by the support plate 20 in the vertical direction H1 is also advantageously reduced. Furthermore, the light distribution of the light emitted by the luminaire 100 is improved, as will be explained below.
[0082] If the recess 206, as in the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, is formed in one of the side walls 205C, 205D, and the lamp 100 is aligned with its longitudinal direction L1 along the vertical direction V, the diffuser 3 and the lighting device 2 can each be oriented facing the rear wall 205E. Thus, light can be emitted through the light exit opening 1A in the direction of the rear wall 205E and this can be illuminated, as the sin Fig. 2. As a result, and advantageously in combination with the concave and convex curved reflector regions 10C, 10D, a very flat light exit angle from the light exit opening 1A can be achieved, so that the luminaire can illuminate a very wide area. For example, the second reflector region 10D can be located facing the rear wall 205E with respect to the depth direction T, as shown in Fig. 2 is shown. In Fig. 2 also shows schematically the light distribution LD generated by the luminaire 100. As in Fig. 2, the rear wall 205E can be illuminated relatively uniformly over almost its entire width by means of the luminaire 100, with light being emitted in particular very close to a region of a corner formed by the side wall 205C and the rear wall 205E.
[0083] It can be provided that the diffuser 3 is formed integrally with the housing 1. For example, the housing 1 and the diffuser 3 can be manufactured successively in a two-component molding process from a respective plastic material. For example, the diffuser 3 can be injection-molded first, optionally together with the ribs 14. Subsequently, the housing 1 can be injection-molded onto the already manufactured diffuser 3 and, if appropriate, the ribs 14, preferably from a different plastic material. As already mentioned, the ribs 14 can also be injection-molded together with the housing 1. In general, all parts of the housing 1, for example the longitudinal wall 10, frame 11, locking hooks 16 and, if they are part of the housing 1, the ribs 14, can be designed as a single piece. This applies regardless of the manufacture of the diffuser 3 and its connection to the housing 1.The one-piece design of diffuser 3 and housing 1 offers the advantage of allowing for an extremely compact design of the luminaire 100, since no additional mechanical connecting structures are required. Furthermore, handling and assembly of the luminaire 100 are simplified.
[0084] In order to connect the diffuser 3 even more reliably to the housing 1, the diffuser 3 can be surrounded by material of the housing 1 at its end regions 31, 32 opposite one another in the vertical direction H1. As shown in Fig. 7, an end region 31 of the diffuser 3 can, for example, protrude into the cross-section of the longitudinal wall 10, and the opposite end region 32 can protrude into the cross-section of the second strip 11B. Optionally, the diffuser 3 can have an engagement profile 33 in at least one of the end regions 31, 32, which is surrounded by the material of the housing 1. Thus, in Fig. 7 shows, purely by way of example, that the end region 32 of the diffuser 3 is provided with a step as an engagement profile 33. However, the invention is not limited to this form; rather, the engagement profile 33 can be designed in different ways. Generally, the engagement profile 33 serves to form an undercut in at least one direction to further stabilize the position of the diffuser 3.
[0085] With reference to Fig. 9 clearly shows the compact design of recess 206 and luminaire 100 with respect to the vertical direction H1. The compact, flat design of luminaire 100 results particularly advantageously from the combination of the measures explained above. However, the various measures also contribute to a compact design on their own. For example, the one-piece design of diffuser 3 and housing 1 eliminates the need for additional connecting structures. The inclined arrangement of diffuser 3 and / or lighting device 2 ensures a reduction in the dimensions of luminaire 100 in the vertical direction H1.
[0086] Likewise, the dimension of the luminaire 100 in the vertical direction H1 can be reduced by designing the reflector surface 10a with a concavely curved first reflector region 10C and a convexly curved second reflector region 10D. Fig.2 also shows, purely as an example, the advantage that an optional insulating panel 220 can be combined with the luminaire 100 without any space conflict.
[0087] Although the present invention has been explained above using exemplary embodiments, it is not limited thereto but can be modified in a variety of ways. In particular, combinations of the above embodiments are also conceivable.
