Abstract

A rotary knob (8) according to the invention for operating a commercial cooking appliance (2) comprises a disc (16), a hub element (20) that can be mounted on an adjustment shaft (22) of the cooking appliance (2), and a handle element (24) for handling the rotary knob (8), which is mounted on the hub element (20). The disc (16), the hub element (20), and the handle element (24) are firmly connected to one another, and the hub element (20) is received between the handle element (24) and the disc (16). At least the disc (16) and the hub element (20) are made of different materials.
