Abstract

A method for detecting and transmitting signals along a track rail (2) comprises the steps of: detecting at least one measurement signal on the track rail (2) by means of a linear sensor device (13), injecting at least one railway operating signal into the linear sensor device (13), routing the at least one measurement signal and the at least one railway operating signal along the track rail (2) by means of the linear sensor device (13), and reading the at least one measurement signal and the at least one railway operating signal from the linear sensor device (13). Furthermore, a device (1) for detecting and transmitting signals along the track rail (2) is included.
