Glass pane arrangement (1), in particular for a roof (120) of a vehicle (100), comprising: a first glass pane (50), a second glass pane (52), a switchable film (20) arranged in a space between the first glass pane (50) and the second glass pane (52), the switchable film (20) comprising a stack having a first electrode layer (28), a layer of switchable material (27) and a second electrode layer (29) opposite the first electrode layer (28); a first carrier film (30) arranged between the first electrode layer (28) and the first glass pane (50); a second carrier film (32) arranged between the second electrode layer (29) and the second glass pane (52);wherein the second electrode layer (29) and the second carrier film (32) extend beyond an edge (26) of at least the switchable material layer (27) to define a surface (25) of the second electrode layer (29) that is not covered by the switchable material layer (27); at least one busbar (11, 12, 16) arranged on the surface (25) of the second electrode layer (29) that is not covered by the switchable material layer (27), wherein the at least one busbar (11, 12, 16) is configured to provide an electrical connection to the second electrode layer (29); a barrier film (34) covering the edge (26) of at least the layer of switchable material (27) and a part of the surface (25) including the at least one busbar (11, 12, 16);wherein the barrier film (34) comprises at least one conductive layer (41, 42, 46) arranged in such a way that it is in contact with the at least one busbar (11, 12, 16).
